This is my entry for a plushie design contest by the handmade plush artist @/eimy.lala.shop over on instagram! I tried to keep it in line with other designs they’ve made while also pitching a concept unique from the other plush they’ve created. (See design notes below)
As of posting this, the winner has yet to be announced, but I’m really happy with how this design turned out regardless and wanted to share! 💖
Ribblr ePattern release: Kuchipatchi from Tamagotchi plushie!
So excited to announce the release of my second crochet pattern: Kuchipatchi from tamagotchi! I love tamagotchi and have been dying to design some crochet patterns based on them, so finally releasing this is really fulfilling! It’s out now on Ribblr, and eventually I’ll make a PDF version for Etsy. Please check it out!
Allow me to present, Delilah Fields with textured hair:
Wow this took forever! I used the same process as xCanadensis used in her YouTube video on turning Zooey Electra into a Novi Stars doll, which in my case meant braiding the hair around 101 Pipecleaners, boiling the hair, freezing the hair, waiting 2 days for everything to finally dry, unwrapping all 101 Pipecleaners, separating the curls to give the hair more volume, and using hair ties to style it into puffs. Needless to say I was TIRED after all of that, but I think the result was SO worth the effort!
I realized I’ve never shown my clayface plush on this account (apart from having her as my pfp) so I thought I’d post some pics of her!
She was made using an old build a bear cookies and cream pup that I found at the thrift store and cleaned/restuffed. She doesn’t have a name, but I’ve used her as a mascot for my work for awhile now. I think she turned out really well for my first attempt, if a little messy.
Blaseball crab I made for my fiancé for Christmas!
he’s really into blaseball and his team is the Baltimore Crabs, so I made him this little guy by altering another #ribblr pattern, (No-sew crabby pattern by KlynCrochets) and decorating it with a custom felt hat/eye. I’m really proud of this gift, definitely my favorite of the 12 I made for Christmas this year 💖
Okay so I’m making 2 plush Technoblades for my future brother and sister in law for Christmas, and I wanted to show my process so far. I’ve been using a crochet pig ornament pattern from User curiouspapaya on ribblr, and later on I will also add the tiny crown pattern by Kerry.crochets. Anyway I just finished the bulk of the body and also added safety eyes that I painted to look like the eyes on Techno’s MC skin. (I used a white posca marker and it worked really well!)
I will continue to post updates throughout my process but so far I’m really happy with this project :)
