if you're interested in making the visual novel real, may I suggest renpy? It's a python library specifically for making visual novels, and both it and python are pretty easy to learn...

Would be really cool if I could, but unfortunately I got too much to do to make a whole videogame on top of that lol, I appreciate the suggestion tho!

Hello! Amazing job on Joel’s design! I adore the robot like markings that you put on his skin, but just a heads up, since Joel is supposed to be wearing Japanese attire, I believe you’re supposed to wrap his left side over his right side (from our perspective the right side of the clothing piece over the left side of the clothing piece). Putting the character’s right side over their left side often implies the character is deceased. Once again, stellar job on the art! I love the pose and expression so much. It perfectly encapsulates Joel
