What's your favourite part of constigami when writing your fics?

Thank you so much for the ask!

Hmm... I think my absolute favourite part is the sass and sarcasm that they have somewhere hidden even in the most serious fics, but Constagami is also such a versatile ship. I can easily make them do pretty much anything, and I think that always makes me happy.

On that note, I should probably go rewrite that one 140k Constagami fic I've got in progress with @persephonescat. Surprisingly (you can thank her), it's nowhere near being angsty, and the cute dumbasses actually get their shit together always pretty easily.

So, I am so sorry you guys, you’re getting more Constagami. There are more than Constagami fics on that list but you keep choosing Constagami, how do you do that?

Not that I actually mind, I love Constagami, I just pity you guys if you don’t like them. You should, though, they’re adorable.

So! Snippet! CW: What is basically a meltdown of sorts is described here.

If you were to ask Kagami Tsurugi how she was doing right at this very moment?

You would not get an answer.

Why?

Because, as some of her friends would put it, her brain wasn’t nicing that day. 

(Nicing, of course, meaning ‘being nice to her’.)

((Perhaps someone ought to tell Adrien to stop making up words.))

Okay, so perhaps we need to put it this way. Kagami Tsurugi was currently sitting on her bed, ignoring all the bad feelings and the way her brain kept constantly telling her that she wasn’t good enough, kept pointing out how uncomfortable her sweater was and how the wool was just prickling her like someone had made it out of needles, or how the taste of the dinner she’d had still stayed in her mouth and how she could still feel the texture of it on her tongue (it made her want to shudder). 

Or, perhaps she also wanted to hide under her blanket because the music she was listening to was ripping her eardrums apart but she couldn’t come out from under her blanket and besides, no other song was going to keep her mind away from the way her brain was screaming and it had audible symptoms in her opinion.

And with all of this? 

Well, she was in no shape to actually talk.

Surprisingly, it’s hurt/comfort. I’m surprised mostly because I tend to only write hurt, except this gets comfort as well.

Okay so really, I’m just... mildly obsessed with Bruce being a Great DadTM and parenting different MLB characters who deserve better parents (cough cough Kagami and Adrien cough) So! Have a snippet! 

To Damian’s dismay, she had told Bruce she would like to try out living with her father as she didn’t know him and would like to know what he was like, just like she had offhandedly mentioned she didn’t feel quite comfortable or safe living with her mother even though “It is alright for me to live with her, I wish not to bother or burden you and your children.”

Obviously he had made the arrangements for her to move in temporarily with them.

He had simply hoped his kids would have a better reaction than this to their new sister. 

Well, to be fair, Dick had been excited, Jason had scoffed and then asked about his newest ‘charity case’ (“Jason, stop calling your siblings ‘charity cases’”.), Tim had shown little to no interest in it but said he didn’t mind, “just good if you get the girl away from her mom,” and Cass had smiled at him and given him a thumbs up. It was only Damian who reacted badly. 

Maybe Bruce would need to keep his guard up once Kagami arrived. He didn’t want another situation of his children hating each other.

So yes! They are children, and Bruce being a good parent! I just love him being a good parent!

Hi dear! I’m glad you asked! Unfortunately, I have not had the energy to write much lately, but I will try to finish both last year’s and this year’s Maribat March along with Constagami December (I truly doubt I’m getting out of that hole anytime soon considering John Constantine is amazing and I love him and the way he’s not a good person but also not a bad one, it’s beautiful, and I project on Kagami too much), but! While you’re waiting for that, I do, in fact, have one Maribat CoO fic written! I will link it here, but it’s platonic DamiGami with them being siblings.

Have a snippet of the thing I haven't touched since December (and yet it's far from the worst thing I've written since.)

How did they get here again?

Oh, yes, indeed.

John had wanted her attention and Kagami hadn’t given it to him because she was working on psychology assignments for extra credit.

And seriously, what did she need extra credit for anyway, she was already ace-ing all of her classes. It didn’t really make sense. (Well, John, there is this thing called wanting to learn as much of this as humanly possible, which you should understand.)

So, as it was, Kagami was sitting on the bed with her laptop on her crossed legs, the only light in the room coming from the screen in front of her. It didn’t really matter anyway as she wasn’t doing anything outside of her screen, so it was alright. She wasn’t certain how long it had been since she had eaten, either, but she was almost done with this one! After that, she could perfectly well go eat… right?

Alright, fine, Kagami knew she was not going to do that.

She only barely noted the door opening behind her and a stream of light coming from the hallway into the bedroom.

“Princess, what are you doing?”

No answer.

“Kagami. You haven’t eaten since lunch and it’s nearly midnight.”

Still no answer.

“Fine, if you are ignoring me, I guess you can’t blame me for what happens next,” came the exasperated words, and then the weight on the bed increased and the bed dipped. Kagami still ignored it because now really wasn’t time to start paying attention to him.
