Thank you for joining us over these past eight days as we have revealed to you the cast, characters, and world of Tyneas.

Our cast has been working hard on this project for over a year now, and now we would like to acknowledge some of the folks who made this possible, such as @michfoolery, the artist behind our character portraits, and Max Krien, who composed our music theme (which we are very excited for you to hear). Also, a special cheers to Sunny for our beautiful cover art. We also thank the friends, family, and various loved ones who gave us feedback and beta-listened to our first episode.

The Gennlands is a land steeped in Feyn meddling, Daemonic magic and mortal conflict. For reasons unknown, the Gennlands have long been the focus of attention by the Feyn, capricious entities who come from a realm separate from the time stream of the material plane. But the Feynwild is not the only alien world which has influenced this land. Like much of Borras, the Gennlands was deeply affected by “the Convergence '' which took place just over 200 years ago. During the Convergence, creatures from the Outer Planes of Spiritus came in masses to the material world. Even now, lesser Daemons haunt the countryside, while the worship of Daemon Gods has become widespread.

The Gennish are caught not just between these forces, but the empires and politics of fellow mortals as well. However, most common folk who live in the Gennlands do their best to lead peaceful lives whilst navigating their relationships with the magical and material alike.

Introducing the world of Tyneas!

Long ago, ten Elder Dragons ruled over Tyneas. These dragons claimed to be the only true gods and banned the worship of any others. They went on to restrict the use of magic to only those favored subjects of the Draconic Imperium. Then, over 200 years ago, the wisest and greatest of the Elder Dragons, Sophos, died in his sleep. His death triggered a series of revolutions across the world in which the dragons were nearly wiped out. 

Now, in the ashes of the Draconic Imperium, the world is building itself up again. Mortals have discovered a new art of magic called wizardry, the old daemon gods of Spiritus have returned, and there are new empires, nations, and politics. Tyneas is an old and vast world, with countless mysteries and millennia of history which fold into an ever-changing present.

Our next cast member, Sophie, fell in love with the magic of DnD in college. She writes fantasy and poetry, and occasionally cavorts with the ancient horrors that lurk in our mountains after dark. She claims her real-life class is Wizard, but has never played a wizard in a game.
