Had a sdv dream so if I had to dream it you have to read it.

You are wandering around the village in the early morning when you notice the door to joja mart is jammed open. You go to investigate slipping inside the unopened store. Other than a white jumper on the floor everything seems fine. Whole explore jobs you find the staff bathrooms, the staff room/office. And a secret elevator that goes straight to the mines.

the doors open and a tired Morris comes in to open the store. His face turning to shock when he sees you standing in the store. Quickly you explain the doors were open and you were worried something was wrong. Morris nods accepting what you say and explaining since they moved here they have had issues with people breaking in but they don't do anything. Like they are trying to send a message they aren't welcome.

No one should be made to feel unwelcome in their place of work. Talking with Morris more you find he's actually quite nice. He has a brilliant sense of humour and knows about farming even asking about your crops. He doesn't seem the bad guy Pierre and Lewis treat him as.

Miserable staff start to trickle in each looking dead behind the eyes. Morris lets them know they need to be more cheerful for customers. Fake smiles all round.

The door opens one final time as you turn to leave seeing Shane. His eyes quickly darting from you to Morris then back on you. Every time you try to talk to him before work he always responds by snapping at you to leave him alone. As yous pass each other before Shane can ask anything you give him a nod "Hi Shane" and continue walking out the store.

Stepping outside the sunlight is blinding. Your back in the land of the living. Town is a buzz as usal but this side of the river is peaceful. So far away from everyone else. Behind you the doors open but you are to lost in thought to notice until a hand grabs yours jolting you out of your day dream only to turn and see.... Shane?

"you can't trust Morris"

"what?" His grip on you tightens a little

"I know him it's his nice guy routine. Oh the whole village hates me for doing my job poor me. It's how he gets what he wants. He is not a sweet misunderstood man he is manipulative and will exploit people for the sake of joja."

"so what does he want from me? The membership-"

"he wants to buy your farm. They want a warehouse and they are set on your farm. Room for expansion and next to the road. You cannot trust Morris. Please" gives your hand a little squeeze. "Stay away from joja mart".

Sam enjoys the flower dance so if one year he didn't have a partner I honestly believe Sebastian would partner up with him. (Abigail doesn't like the dance she's happy with this)

Something I often feel kinda upset about is when people start gatekeeping what gender is allowed to romance certain bachelors/bachelorettes I understand headcannoning them to be LGBTQIA+ I have my own LGBTQ headcanons But when people start acting like there's a wrong way and a right way to play, it kinda makes me squint a bit. There's a reason the town is full of bisexuals, you can romance whoever you find attractive or whoever you find interest in no matter what gender. It's up to YOU. Yes, certain dialogues offer a deeper look at a character that would not be seen if you were the opposite gender but that's no reason to act like it's the CORRECT way to do it. it's ok to let people know about it but don't shame people for who they choose to romance and what gender they present as. Let them play how they want. They bought the game.
