What does a Davison chart tell you?
A Davison chart is a type of astrological chart that is used in Western astrology to examine the combined influence of two individuals' birth charts. It is essentially a midpoint chart, created by finding the midpoint between the positions of two people's natal planets and points (such as the Sun, Moon, and Ascendant) and then constructing a new chart based on these midpoints. The resulting Davison chart is not an actual celestial configuration but a symbolic representation of the relationship between the two individuals.
A Davison chart can provide insights into the dynamics and potential of a relationship between two people. It is often used in the context of romantic partnerships or any kind of close relationship, including friendships and business partnerships. Some of the insights that a Davison chart may offer include:
Shared Strengths and Challenges: The Davison chart can reveal areas where the individuals in the relationship may complement each other or face common obstacles.
Relationship Purpose: Astrologers may interpret the Davison chart to understand the deeper purpose or destiny of the relationship and what it can bring to both individuals' lives.
Timing of Significant Events: Some astrologers use Davison charts to make predictions about key moments or turning points in the relationship, such as when it may encounter challenges or experience periods of growth.
Emotional and Psychological Dynamics: The positions of planets and points in the Davison chart can shed light on the emotional and psychological dynamics at play in the relationship.
Compatibility and Potential Issues: Like traditional synastry (the comparison of two birth charts), a Davison chart can indicate areas of compatibility and potential areas of tension in the relationship.
It's important to note that astrology, including the use of Davison charts, is a belief system and not considered a science. Interpretations of astrological charts are highly subjective and may vary between astrologers. The use of Davison charts, like other astrological tools, is a matter of personal belief and should be taken with a grain of skepticism by those who do not adhere to astrological principles.

🪐 astrology - open readings 🪐
hi everyone 🌙 a quick introduction to my line of study in astrology:
☀️ I'm now opening astrology readings, and as a traditional astrologer my focus is mainly prediction techniques such as solar revolutions (in conjunction with annual profections), synastry, transits, and fertility readings. Although prediction is my specialty, I also do birth chart readings
☀️Readings that I offer
Solar return
Birth chart
Synastry
Monthly transits
Fertility reading
☀️ Why do a reading?
The study of astrology can give us access to the unconscious in a way we cannot do it ourselves. By doing a reading of your birth chart we can identify with more certainty the pattern we follow on our day-to-day that go unnoticed. It’s always important to keep in mind that our birth chart is not permanent or incapable of changing. Throughout life we change, it’s inevitable, but we don’t have only one path to follow, one placement can have innumerous possibilities of action. The most glorious thing an astrology reading can give is to be conscious of your light and shadow and to know the place we occupy, without fear of what the stars might tell us.
☀️ How much?
Each reading costs 30 USD, I put it as a fixed price for any of my unit readings. If you order a combo reading such as natal chart + solar return, it would be $50. I consider a fair price since I'm a professional astrologer with a couple of years studying this subject.
☀️How to book a reading?
For unit readings ($30), I use a website called ko-fi, I'll leave the link at the end of this post and it's also fixed on my profile. The transaction is made by PayPal on the site so it's completely safe. For those who will book thru ko-fi, when your payment has been sent, I ask you to inbox me with your birth chart information.
For combo readings ($50), you can inbox me to book, give your birth chart info, and transfer directly through my PayPal address.
☀️About the report
Depending on demand, I usually give it about 3 to 5 days to give a full report on any of the services I offer. The length is about 14-20 pages (it can vary) long, it's extremely detailed because I like to explain the itty bitty details, and I also think it can be important for the client to have context on the techniques I'm using when analyzing them.
Thank you for your attention <3 Let the stars speak with you!

Misread placements in astrology
Tumblr media
Saturn in the 1st house
I always see this placement represented as someone being serious, mature for their age, and introverted, although some of it is true, it does not limit what Saturn can do in the 1st house. If you combine this position with an extroverted ascendant (Leo, Gemini, Sagittarius), the introversion will not be shown at first sight. These people can be extremely outgoing, extroverted, and fun but also incredibly closed when revealing their own emotions. They can be the kind of people that talk about everything BUT their real selves. Saturn in the 1st can also manifest in a medical condition that can affect how we look, since this house talks about appearance, and Saturn represents sickness.
Uranus/Aquarius influence and rulership
As a traditional astrologer, I follow the traditional rulership: Mars for Scorpio, Saturn for Aquarius, and Jupiter for Pisces.
Although I believe in the outer planets influence, Aquarius is not as Uranian people think they are. One of the main characteristics of Uranus is rapid/radical changes, or the drastic changes of events. Aquarius is still a fixed sign air sign, and as much as they like to pretend, they’re not as flexible as they think. To change is to be willing to change, to be thrown out of nowhere, and to give up the sense of control. This is much more characteristic of Pisces than it is of Aquarius. The Saturn influence makes them rigid when it comes to letting go of ideals/ideas, this being their most prized possessions.
Lilith in the 1st
The most common description of Lilih in the 1st house is that this is a bombshell placement. They’re often described as physically alluring people or some type of seductress. We tend to forget that Lilith is the mirror of projections, she appears as a fear of the unconscious collective because she expresses herself and her desires, and she’s punished by the dominance of others. Lilith is the first female liberation figure who was punished for showing control of her desires. When Lilith enters the 1st house, you don’t become a seductress, you become unapologetic, someone who’s in charge of your own shadow and light, you don’t submit, and the answer for this is people trying to dominate you.
Cancer placements
No matter how much cancer placements are portrayed as big emotional babies, I think people couldn't be more wrong about this take. Cancer, be the sun, rising, moon, etc., are closed-off people. They’re the first water sign with a cardinal quality, their fundamental characteristics are: retentive, dependent, emotionally aware, and moody. They do better in a closed environment with few people of their selection. Feelings are not often shown unless the chart has a more extroverted sign (Aries, Aquarius, or Sag) on emphasis. If you think of a crab, the animal representation of cancer, when threatened they go into their shell, isolating themselves and staying away from danger. For a cancer placement to open up, they have to be sure the person they're opening up to is not going use their vulnerability as a weapon against themselves. They don’t cry often, they ruminate emotions and keep them in a safe place in their minds and hearts, they never forget and they do hold grudges.
If you have any doubts or requests, inbox me, and thank you for the reading <3

saw a poll about whether you prefer corruption or redemption arcs and i realized that for me it's not really either, it's a distillation arc: when a character becomes the most intense version of what they could be, everything inessential falling away or being discarded so that only the core remains.

Hi! How are you? Hope I don’t bother you with this ask!🫣 I’ve just seen in my dash your post about how difficult can be for someone to have maleficent planets in the 12house, especially mars, but I didn’t get the why. My mars is in Leo in the 12th house.
I’m starting to learn about astrology and I’ve read that is the house of hidden enemies and because my Mars is in it, I’ll attract lunatics and toxic masculinity people (which had happened in the past but gave me anxiety for the future) and also about repressing angers. And I just want to understand a bit more about what implies having mars in the 12th in Leo.
In case you need some aspects: mercury (Gemini) sextile mars, Venus (aries) trine mars, ascendant (which is also Leo) conjunction mars and node (Sagittarius) trine mars. And as I know Neptune rules the 12th house, is in my 6th house in Capricorn.
Thank you so much and I’ll understand if you can answer this! Sending love! ✨❤️
To understand the concept of malefics, first you have to understand the concept of sects. In traditional astrology there are diurnal charts (sun above the ascendant line) and nocturnal charts (sun below the ascendant line).
Each traditional planet belongs to a sect
diurnal is Saturn (malefic) and Jupiter (benefic)
nocturnal is Mars (malefic) and Venus (benefic)
When in their preferred sect, the malefics will become less malefics. Mars in a night chart will continue to be challenging, but with more of a constructive side. In a day chart, the aggressiveness will harden and the lesson will be more difficult to learn.
It all depends if you have nocturnal or diurnal chart.
If you have a diurnal chart, a Mars on the 12th can manifest as spiritual problems and hidden enemies, aggression you’re unaware of, spiritual abuse, etc. The 12th house is complicated because is the place of bad spirit and is not a place of comfort for Mars. When diurnal, the experience with Mars can aggravate since it’s not on its own sect.
If you have a nocturnal chart, the significations Mars implies on the 12th house are the same, but the way the native will receive the information will be different. This placements is almost as learning as you go, even though it’s the house of hidden enemies, Mars can give you the strength to look beyond what you can see, it can be a curse or a blessing.
Since I don’t know which sect your chart is, I can loosely talk about this placement.
It can mean a hard time finding self-stem because in a certain way, is out of your point of view or control. Is like your self worth natural state is of being bombed all the time. There’s always something you can’t quite point your finger at it, an itch behind your ear that just tickles you in the wrong way. I would say enemies trying to take light out of you, your will to live and passion you have for others and yourself. But don’t be afraid of the future, this is a great placements for intuition, so with time you’ll learn what is best for you. Never dismiss your gut feeling.
And as a traditional astrologer, I follow the traditional rulership, so I consider Venus to be Lord of the 12th house.
Hope I could be of help! Sorry I couldn’t talk more about your placement, but the sects really have a great impact on how a malefic will manifest and work on a chart.

Does Lilith 11H Cancer indicate that I ll never have a normal stable friendship? It also squares my moon
In astrology there's no such thing as "never", but there are precautions we can take when encountering difficult placements. With Lilith in the 11th, is good for you to develop a sense of self-worth that doesn't rely on a group's opinion of yourself. Lilith can be similar to Chiron, but the wounds Lilith carries are the perception of others rather than ourselves, the projection and fears people can carry that end up reflecting on us.
With these placements (taking into account Moon square), the thing to do here is to be confident of yourself when entering a friendship, in other words, don’t let people project their bullshit into you, and don’t take up anything that it isn’t your to take (emotional baggage of others), create clear boundaries because they're going to be very important for you to have a healthy relationship with others.
Having an 11th house in Cancer makes it easy to cater to a group's needs and forget about your own, but Lilith can be there to help you, to be more assertive of who you are, and to know when your’re not being welcomed anymore. Leaving a relationship that is not healthy for you does not make you weak, it makes you a person with standards.

COMBUSTION IN ASTROLOGY
What is a combustion?
Combustion is when any planet is closely conjunct to the Sun. To be more specific, conjunct from 0°18′ to 8°. If you have planets conjunct to the Sun from 9° to 15°, you would have your planets “under the beams.” It is possible to look at loose aspects made to the Sun since it’s arguably the strongest planet in your natal chart and it’s a strong luminary. If you have a planet conjunct to your Sun that is less than 0°18′, then you have what is called cazimi.
What’s the difference between combustion, “under the beams,” and cazimi in terms of effects?
As illustrated, the main thing the three conditions have in common is that they’re conjunctions made to the Sun. However, due to the varying degrees, the effects are different for each condition.
Combustion and “under the beams” are accidental debilities* while cazimi is an accidental dignity*.
What are the effects of having a combustion in the natal chart?
In order to understand why and how a combustion can be seen as an debility (accidental, to be exact,) you have to see the symbolic and literal imagery that is shown when a combustion is present in the natal chart.
The Sun is quite hot and bright. In western astrology, it is often generally seen to be a benefic planet while in Vedic astrology, it is seen to be a malefic planet. Western astrology tends to view the rays of the Sun to be positive, warm, and inspiring while Vedic astrology can often view the rays of the Sun to be destructive and hot, for these same rays can also burn up whatever is in its way.
When your planet is combust, imagine that planet engulfed and burned up in the Sun’s rays, specifically from the corona. The planet from there wouldn’t be seen due to the light of Sun covering it up. The planet’s effects in other words would be weakened because the Sun would be overpowering it. The planet would not be able to have its own individual shine, and can easily lose its separate identity from the Sun in the process. This can result in the native having the planet not easily seen, for there is a strong fusion between the planet and the Sun. All conjunctions in nature illustrate two planets working as a single unit. With a combustion, however, there can often be a “fusing” effect. The Sun and planet have essentially become “one,” with the Sun being strongly dominant.
With that in mind, the combust planet can often feel neglected for the native mainly because the functions of the planet will mostly manifest starting inside rather than outside the native. People with combust planets can often struggle to separate parts of themselves from the ego (Sun) and as a result, these planets can often be more sensitive. What natives have to ultimately learn is separate the combust planet from the Sun by placing unique emphasis to the combust planet so that it can maintain its own identity so that it can work with, rather than under the Sun’s influence.
What are the effects of having a planet “under the beams” with the Sun?
Having a planet “under the beams” is similar to a combustion, but to a lesser degree. While the combust planet is completely covered up by the Sun, having your planet “under the beams” can show a planet that can still be partially seen against the Sun’s powerful rays. That means that the planet will still have its own sphere of influence separate from the Sun, but this influence can be highly affected by the Sun.
What are the effects of having a planet in cazimi?
Having a planet in cazimi can show a planet that is in the center, or in the “heart” of the Sun. With cazimi, the planet is stronger, and the spotlight is placed onto the planet, since it is free from being burned away by the Sun’s rays. People with a planet in cazimi can often have a talent associated with the planet since the manifestation of planets in cazimi are very strong and can be applied externally in a positive manner. The planet in cazimi in this case functions has a complete, strong, separate entity from the Sun and can be seen as a planet that goes beyond the identity and ego.
What are the implications of combustion in astrology?
The two planets that are most likely to be combust are Venus and Mercury. Mercury can only be one sign away from your Sun while Venus can only be two signs away from the Sun. Having a combustion in these two planets can quite common, and it often implies the internal nature of our thoughts (Mercury) and our internal drive to meet our ideals (Venus.) It can often show the strong tie our mind and ideals can have to how we see ourselves.

“The most paradisiacal human trait is that we are inevitably surprised by death’s reality, despite its inevitability. The death of someone whom you love is a discovery of Death in the abstract as well as the particular: the appearance of disappearance, not only of the dead person, but of yourself. A quicksand pause: the absence of yourself from time. The sense of being ejected from time’s usual flow is common among the grieving, from my anecdotal polling. A writer who also lost a brother young, and violently, told me that at some point—he did not give a date or duration that must be exceeded—I would “rejoin time,” but, he added, if my experience turned out anything like his, some days, even decades later, would be “that first day after again.” Time, I suspect, will never move as it did before, even after I step back into it.”
— Elisa Gonzalez, from “Minor Resurrections: On failing to raise the dead” (The Point #28)

doing gods work
Here are some REAL astrological tips that I'm not just pulling out my ass and actually learned from reading
1. Aquarius is not ruled by uranus, aquarius is ruled by saturn. When astrologers discovered uranus they borrowed some of the traits of saturn and applied them to uranus because they didnt know what to do with this planet. Having strong uranus influence won't make you feel like an outsider but having a strong saturn influence will. Uranus does not rule "outcasts" or "obstruction" it rules sudden changes which we only associate with aquarius because of their eccentricity and the modern rulership of this sign, aquarius isn't as open to "change" as we would like to think they are, they're a saturn(restrictions) ruled fixed sign, they're more open minded and progressive than capricorn but they're more traditional and less accepting than we think pisces to be.
2. NO planet is unwelcome in the 5th and 11th house. Any personal planets in these houses including mars and saturn, especially the chart ruler is a sign of good fortune, wealth, successful investments and just an easy life in general because these houses are the joy of Venus and Jupiter, harmful planets here become neutralized and instead work to our benefit even with difficult aspects. Ex: Someone with a 5th house saturn might work high paying government jobs or become some kind of authority(saturn) figure sometime within their life.
3. What you've been taught about the north and south node is wrong. The north node is not "underdeveloped traits" The north node represents "increase" while the south node represents decrease, not your comfort zone and this is according to hellenistic and ancient astrology. The north node represents the dragon head while the south node represents its tail. Wherever your north node(the head) is, is where there's an infatuation and/or otherwise increase of energy and experiences, the south node (the tail) is something you abandoned (and shouldnt have) so you could focus on your north node, it's not necessarily something you need to let go of because that's like saying the dragon cut his tail off so he could keep his head lol, the dragon doesn't need to cut his tail at all, his tail is what's helping send him into the right direction because how do you expect him to move without his tail? In this case the south node is something you can rely on to assist you when handling the topics of your north node, that's the whole point. If south node was something that we needed to dismiss or free ourselves from it, there wouldn't be a south node, the south node and north node exist with each other, they HAVE to co-exist
4. I don't really debate about which house system to use when reading your own chart or others but when reading transits, synastry and composite charts, I strongly recommend using WS to make things alot less confusing.
5. The moon is a significator of money in alot of the same ways venus and jupiter are that's why the moon gets exalted in taurus. Moon in Taurus, Pisces, Sagittarius or Libra in the 3rd (house joy), 5th or 11th house is an indicator of wealth.
6. When outer planets transit your cadent houses please don't have a breakdown, planets in cadent houses have the weakest influence within a person's chart.
7. The houses responsible for fame are realistically the 5th, 7th house, 10th and 11th house and everything starts with the 5th house. Explanation: 5th house is the talent you have, the 11th house is your audience, you bring the talents you build upon in the 5th house for the world to see over into the 11th house, the 7th house is your relationship to law and the public, partnerships etc, if you wanna get contracts like a partnership with the NBA or picked to star in a movie, all of this would take place in the 7th house, the 10th house is the brand and image you cultivate after your name gets around from the 7th house, this house talks about your peak, how well did you do? Did you make it big? Planets here, where it's ruler is/and aspects will color all of this. Honorable mention is the 1st house cause the 1st house like the 10th house is angular and says alot about whether eyes are on you, do you get attention, are you an extrovert, are you confident or is building up those kind of things difficult for you, all of this gets answered in the 1st house.
8. Do not let any amateur astrologers gaslight you into thinking that having 8th or 12th house placements make you spiritual, spirituality gets its meaning from the 9th house and the 11th house where jupiter finds joy, planets in the 8th and 12th house is NOT for the weak and I don't mean to sound arrogant, I have 12th house placements and I'm aware that the 12th house doesn't get its meaning from pisces or jupiter, sprutuality is meant to be a good thing, planets in these houses is not a good thing so it is not wise to draw proximity there
9. Both Venus/ Jupiter and it's aspects is an indicator of marriage, the sign they're in, house placement and aspects will tell you more about your spouse (venus if you're attracted to women and jupiter if you're attracted to men)
10. Debilitated or fallen planets are liberated or in accidental dignity when in the angular houses or the 5th and 11th. Yes this counts for retrograde planets as well even tho i don't count retrogrades as a debilitaty. Think of them as having "redemption arcs" like negan from the walking dead, started out evil or In bad condition but it got better real fast or the challenges with that placement are easy to overcome. Ex: aquarius sun in the 1st house, aquarius is obviously debilitated under the sun because the sun and saturn are enemies and aquarius gets overwhelmed by the attention and self expression that comes with the sun but with the sun in the 1st house that luminary becomes apart of you, it's literally influencing your physical body and how you behave, with the sun here you have no trouble expressing yourself and actually like attention, so it's like having a leo rising but alot more intense

Tips when reading your birth chart
Tumblr media
enjoy your reading 🔮💐🌻🌙☀️
When considering the planet that rules your chart (ruling planet of the rising), it's important to use the traditional planet that was assigned to that sign, ex: Aquarius is traditionally ruled by Saturn but in modern astrology, Uranus is also his ruler, Pisces is ruled by Jupiter but in the modern version Neptune also takes chart. It’s a personal tip because the interpersonal planets like Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are further from an individual experience or possibility and they act more when it’s about a collective group of people (generations). Using traditional planets as chart rulers can be more accurate in looking into someone’s personality
A lot of people know this, but having your exact birth time is essential when it comes to reading your natal chart. Even if it's a minute wrong, it can change the whole house dynamics.
Even though a lot of people say the 7th house is the house of marriage, is not always equal to love or passion. For centuries, marriage was more about business transactions, commitments, partnerships, etc. All of those are not intrinsically related to love, whatsoever. So my tip is not to be so hungover with the marriage characteristics. The 7th can be a place where you can find the type of person you're attracted to, but it's not restricted for this purpose.
When looking for love and passion, the 5th house is often more appropriate than the 7th. With the sun as the planetary ruler, the passion here is fiery, indescribable, and ravishing. You cannot contain it, it needs to show and feel. You can also mirror some of the qualities of Leo, such as being loyal, committed, and fierce when it comes to someone they love.
The money you gain is not always in the 10th house, (or midheaven), although it became known as the place of labor, it's not always significant in how you earn money. The main signification of the 10th is public life, what you put in the world to see, it's opposed to the 4th, the family place, its the deepest spot on your birth chart, as the 10th is the higher. But money can also be visible when looking thru your 2nd house, its cusp sign, aspects, and planets that are there can tell how you can earn your money or material possessions.
Another money house is the 8th, as opposed to the 2nd (your own material possessions), this one is the money of others. Inheritance for example is one of the most popular significations of the 8th. Personally, it's not very reliable, you can wait your whole life for something like this, it's too much of a dependence on others, you put too much of your necessity in the hands of someone else.
