I find it amusing how Taryn's rumored lover turned into a tree, similar to how Jude’s lover turned into a serpent, and how Vivi’s lover turned into half cat. It’s the Duarte curse, date a Duarte, and you’ll eventually transform into something.
This is me wanting to draw that Gohan and Goten reunion we never got in the buu saga. Like both were dead and one thought the other to be dead.
This started cause I was talking to a friend of Gotens character in regards to Goku at first Goku is hyped up to him this untouchable heroic hero. He sees how everyone feels about him but he feels not much for his Dad other what he was told and he’s scared to approach. Then, reality kicks in his Dad isn’t that… Gohan is “killed” and Goten and Trunks and thrusted into the role of saviors of the Earth. Goten resents him but then… he learns that Goku isn’t none of that he’s real, super approachable, and awesome. It beat the stories he was told.
Then, he realizes he never felt he was missing that love because he had a lot of it. Gohan was always there for him making sure nothing was missing for Goten. Goten realizes he is very lucky to have Gohan. Anyway not me explaining my comic in the comments
I can't imagine what Sathia could have done that was so bad that Flynn could see his little sister being manhandled and forced into marriage with a sociopath and be apathetic.
Oooh, Lidia is so a descendant of Aelin and Manon-- a witch who can shift into a deer (deer a harking to Aelin's stag) with fire magic. Aelin's golden hair and Manon's golden eyes.
How is Rhys taking so long to get to Nesta and Bryce? High Lord of winnowing and flying and Bryce and Nesta are having a full ass conversation, feeling Rhys approaching, and he hasn't arrived? Dude can hop from one territory to the next. It's like he decided to take the stairs lol
It depends on how old your kitty is. I made the mistake of getting a kitten after one of my older, bonded pair cats passed. My remaining cat was wonderful and loving to her bonded cat and I thought her nurturing nature would translate great for a kitten.
I learned the hard way that, unlike in dogs, where a puppy will often bring out puppy qualities with an older dog, older cats are often more stressed and annoyed by the antics of a kitten or much younger cat.
My kitten desperately wanted attention from my older cat and she wanted him to leave her the hell alone. Fast forward to him being older, he was not bonded to her and therefore rebuffed any calm attention/affection from her (attempts to groom, cuddle, etc) and instead only interacted with her when he pounced or attacked her. He was usually attempting to play, but she took it as aggression and reacted negatively.
She recently passed and while I can't say I regret getting him (I adore him and am so thankful to have him), I can say I wish things could have been different with them. I spent the last four years trying to mitigate their interactions and keep him from harassing her in her old age.
After researching, I learned this is really common for old cats to not enjoy the company of very young cats. So if you've got a senior kitty, a mature cat will be your best bet.
If your current kitty is still young, then a cat of or around the same ago or younger might be just what your kitty needs.
I want to give my cat a break. She'll be an only child for a while.
But I'd also like to get another cat or two to keep us both company, and I'm torn: should I get the youngest cat at a shelter or an older (4-5+ years old) one?
Younger cats are easier to adopt and my cat will be more open to them. But they're less clean.
Older cats are more stable and clean, but it'll take more time for her to warm up to an old cat.
I have to imagine it like a blank sheet of paper, putting 27 on top of 48 then adding 8+7=15, carry the 1, add it to the 4 making 5 and then adding 5+2=7 which makes 75. My process is ineffecient and slow and I am bad at math lmao but hey, I got there
