I used my maps and some simple tools to create a scale model of Earth versus my planet, Jom'Gol.
Earth is the one on the left (obviously, the one with South America), and Jom'Gol is the one on the right.
While Jom'Gol has 4.1 times the mass of Earth, it has a fairly low density, resulting in only a 1.2 G surface gravity, while allowing for a radius 1.85 times that of Earth.

I now present to you the surface temperature map of Jom'Gol, but for the Northern Hemisphere Winter this time. The legend is in the top left still, and each color isotherm is exactly 4.5 degrees Celsius.
We reach some new insane temperature records on this map, with several key spots of interest. Almost the same Northern Hemisphere region that reaches an average of 46 degrees C during the summer (115 F), reaches a temperature of -44 degrees C (-47 F). The colest NH spot being -84.5 C (-120 F).
A new amazing temperature record is set in the Southern Hemisphere, where temperatures reach an astounding average of 50.5 degrees C (123 F). Remember that these are an average full-day temperature, meaning that night temps are around 41 degrees C (105 F), and average non-heatwave, non-drought daytime temperatures are an average 60-62 degrees C (140 - 144 F).
Due to the size of the planet, the nature of its orbit, biotic carbon cycles, and exotic 40 degree axial tilt, the temperature differences between different spots on Jom'Gol remain drastically different.

I present to you, the surface temperature map of Jom'Gol during Northern Hemisphere Summer. This map took me DAYS and dozens of hours of work... and now i have to repeat it for winter too....
Legend is in the top left corner again, but every band of color is exactly 4.5 degrees Celsius. Some interesting spots on this map include the northern hemisphere's hottest average day temp of 46 degrees C (115 F), and the southern hemisphere's coldest average day temp of -107 degrees C (-160 F).
Due to the absolute size of the planet AND the continents, the uneven heating of the surface, biotic carbon cycles, and most importantly the fact that the axial tilt is 40 degrees, the temperature difference between regions can be quite extreme.

Alright!! Here's Winter basic air temperature isotherm maps on Jom'Gol. AGAIN, while not EXACT, they should help me get a basic idea for surface temperature.
I used the guide to add in the areas of significant temperature
(cold costal areas, arid hotspots, warm water tropical gyres, cold areas, etc.)
Gotta adjust the isotherms again and NOW I get to work on full surface temperature maps!! Unfortunately they will probably take 3.5 eternities to make, so they might not be out for a while, but i AM working as hard as i can !!!1!11

Ok I created some basic air temperature isotherm maps for Summer on Jom'Gol. While not EXACT, they should help me get a basic idea for surface temperature.
I also used a guide to add in some areas of significant temperature qualities.... cold costal areas, arid hotspots, warm water tropical gyres, cold areas, etc.
These are also very basic and not exact, but they helped me make some surface temperature calculations. Now I have to adjust my isotherms and I'm pretty close to getting on my surface temp maps !!
Working on the same thing for Winter as we SPEAK

Ok so really basic continentality map that's going to help me with my temperature maps. Really rough basic map but pretty much blue areas mean least amount of temperature difference throughout the year, and red represents LARGEST amount of temperature difference per year.
Temperature maps coming soon !!1!11!!1!!!!

Updated my precipitation maps !!! (Summer N. Hemisphere on top, Winter N. Hemisphere on bottom)
If you are curious to what I have updated, I forgot important parts of my calculations. While I certainly DID factor in my axial tilt, I did not realize how insane some physics get past 35 degrees axial tilt, and mine is at 40. So basically, the world is MUCH wetter than previously thought.
Dark blue still represents extremely wet, Blue still represents wet Cyan represents marginally wet, or areas that are typically wet "subtropical"
The pale green now represents Wet Semiarid, something not uncommon on Earth, but something that works entirely different on Jom'Gol. They remain essentially deserts throughout a significant amount of the year. During intermediary seasons (spring and fall), an interesting heating of the oceans results in MASSIVE rainfall to these areas.
These deserts, which have been dry as bone for half the year, suddenly receive up to 6 feet of rain, a decent rainforest amount and certainly not dry. Due to the strange nature of these areas, they have been given their own type of region that for now just represents "Wet Semi-arid".
(Another note about the tilt of the planet makes it so that even the most arid of deserts still receive up to 70-90 cm of rain per year {{2.5 feet}} !! )

Why bother taking time to make a sketch layer when you can just make it during lecture lmao

Here's a slightly alternate version of the Susie portrait and profile I did yesterday.....
I personally like the orangeish one better but the purple colors pop out on this one too.
More funny Deltarune art

Sketch vs. Final on my Ralsei drawing....
Really proud of how this fluffy boy drawing turned out considering it came from a notebook doodle during class lol
Maybe I should start doing more notebook doodles.....
