What A Year

Hi friends!

2023 has been a hectic and rewarding year. In addition to launching my new website, I ghostwrote a novel and completed Season 3 of I Got Nothing, a podcast for exhausted writers. But the thing I’m most proud of is writing the first season of my new audio drama, Battle Cry.

Battle Cry is a fantasy podcast that I have been wanting to write for at least seven years. It was always one of those large projects that I would think about from time to time and think, someday. That day is here. Not only did I write all ten episodes of the first season, I outlined the entire series. It will be five seasons, with ten episodes per season for a total of fifty. Season One has been cast and, as of today, recording sessions are underway!

Words cannot express my excitement and pride. This time last year I was trying to decide what I would be working on and now, people are stepping up to the mic and acting from the script I wrote. Wild.

I cannot wait to share what’s coming up in 2024! It’s going to be a busy year and I’m ready for it.

🎙️ NEW PODCAST🎙️

I am SO excited to finally be able to share what I have been working on the last six months.

Premiering in late 2024, Battle Cry: Captivity is the first of five seasons of a brand new story podcast and audio drama. Written and directed by yours truly, it'll be starring me and my amazingly talented friends.

We are reaching the end of pre-production and will start recording within the next few months.

This project has been one I've wanted to do for many years and to have the scripts in hand blows my mind. Stay tuned for updates and behind-the-scenes in the coming months.

Deep below the surface of a hidden realm, humans are enslaved and forced to fight against beasts of myth and legend. Stripped of their names, these unwilling combatants have no choice but to kill to survive, all for the entertainment of a bloodthirsty audience. However, the seeds of rebellion are taking root, and one determined party of misfits will claw their way to freedom, or be crushed in the process.
