9th November
There are a lot of housework I have to do after children go to bed.
Today I had to do the dishes, prepare lunch and dinner I eat from tomorrow, take a shower, wash the bathroom, fold the laundry and tidy up the room.
I started them at 10 pm, and they ended up finishing at 4 am.
Tumblr media
Moreover that was not only today, for a few days and after my son was born, I have to do more than before.
Of course, I need to help my wife but if this goes on, I could get sick.
So, I’ll consider how to do these tasks effectively, for example, prepare a meal next day.

A total lunar eclipse was visible tonight.
It said it happened for the first time in 442 years in Japan.
I was able to watch it from Yokohama fortunately.
Tumblr media
The dark and red moon was floating on the night sky.
And the song “Eclipse” by Pink Floyd was playing in my head.
That was fantastic scene, except for that my boss was next to me.

I tried to go to Koishikawa Botanical Garden with my daughter last Monday but the garden was closed every morning.
Today was Sunday, we tried to go there again and we were able to enter the garden finally.
Tumblr media
Some tropical trees welcomed us at the entrance and it made us excited.
We proceeded to walkway for deeper in the garden and my daughter watched a lot kind of fallen leaves, nuts and berries.
On the inner side of the garden, there was a greenhouse and tropical plants were in it.
My daughter looked interested in the plants and enjoyed touching the leaves.
There was an open space in front of the greenhouse and children can play there, so the garden would be one of my favourite places.

I talked to an online tutor in Cambly for the first time in two weeks.
Talking with someone in English is fun for me, but I got a little nervous because it’s been a while.
Tumblr media
However, I was able to speak longer than before leaving and I felt my pronunciation was better as well.
Was is a partly influence of singing English songs every day during the leave?

3rd November
I was supposed to go to the office from today.
Though I took only two weeks leave, I forgot what I had to do.
And I restarted studying English.
During my leave, eventually I didn’t study English.
Tumblr media
I sang English nursery rhymes with my daughter, but that was not study.
Studying English is already essential for my life and I feel even relieved when I study.
I’ll take an English exam after everything settles down.

Today was our first time that we four of us went out together.
And I sold my guitar for a music store.
The guitar was that I bought about ten years ago, and one of my favourite.
I was a bit sad, but I hadn’t played the guitar for a few years and it was taking up space in my house, so I didn’t have any other choices.
Tumblr media
It was ¥13,000 (£78.3), but my wife made me pay for lunch.
By the way, I found out my members card of a fan club of Japanese rock band “Spitz” in a closet.
I can go to see their live tour on next Saturday.

When my wife and I lived in Shibuya, we used to jog to Yoyogi Park together.
It was a big park, but I hadn’t taken my daughter there, moreover I expected the park could be her favourites.
In the park, she looked so fun collecting nuts and berries fallen on the ground, watching flowers and touching water in a pond in the park.
Tumblr media
By the way, though I had taken her to a lot of parks for these days, did she realise going to different parks?
I had tried to go to different parks as long as possible, so I would feel a little that’s a wasted effort.
Well, it’s OK because I enjoyed myself.

31st October
In the morning my mobile phone was ringing even though I was off.
After dealing with that, I went to Koishikawa Botanical Garden.
It was a lovely garden and I wanted to visit once.
There was ten minutes walk from Hakusan station.
When I finally got the garden, I found the garden was closed every Monday.
I was disappointed a little, and I decided to go to Koishikawa Korakuen Garden instead.
Tumblr media
It was like a big Japanese garden, and the atmosphere was very nice.
I found it comfortable to stay parks and gardens where I have to pay entrance fees.

For three days from today, I’m going to work from home.
Tumblr media
There are a lot of things I have to do, and I need to finish them within the three days.
Though I can do it because I have reduced my workload temporarily, the teleworking system is not excellent, so it must not be efficient.
If I can, I don’t want to work from home.
Moreover I have to take care of my son, so I might need to do my best.

Musashi Kokibunji Park was near the Kokubunji station.
Today we went there but it took rather than 10 minutes walk from the station.
The park has a large grass field and I wanted to go there once.
My daughter enjoyed playing with a girl who was in the park.
Tumblr media
On the south side of the park, there was a small forest where we can observe wild birds, but I wasn’t able to find mushrooms my daughter likes.
The park was lovely but it was a bit hard to go there from the station.
I’m not sure if I visit the park again.

Spitz is a famous Japanese rock band.
A live tour for fan club members only will start in November.
I have a ticket for the live concert, and I’m looking forward to seeing it.
Tumblr media
But participants have to bring their membership card.
My card must be inside of a closet in my house, but I don’t have confidence about that.
It would be nice if my card is in the closet.

From today we are four of us officially.
My daughter and I handed in a resignation of birth to a city hall.
But it took about thirty minutes and my daughter could be bored.
Tumblr media
Before going home, we stopped by Otaguro Park.
The park is usually calm and one of my favourite parks.

Today was a day when my wife leaves hospital with our son in the afternoon.
Before we go to the hospital, my daughter and I were walking around in Inokashira Park.
And then, she played happily with a boy who was also in the park.
I wanted her to play with the boy more longer but the time came when we have to go to the hospital.
Tumblr media
After we four came back to my house, my daughter watched him curiously.
That was cute that she touched him softly and spoke to him, just like touching pets or something.

My daughter and I joined a sports day that was taken place in a kindergarten near my house.
Though my daughter was two years old, the kindergarten had a programme that these young kids can take part in.
It was a good opportunity that to feel an atmosphere of the kindergarten that my daughter could go in a few years.
Tumblr media
After that, we went to a park near the kindergarten, and she was into a mantis on a slide in the park.
Though other kids didn’t touch it because they felt scary, she touched it bravely.
And I thought that being without bias is being able to do anything.

Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden is one of my favourite places in Tokyo because of the atmosphere.
You need to pay 500 yen entrance fee to enter the garden, but that made the atmosphere calm.
Moreover, less children or youths are in the garden, so I can settle down with my family.
Tumblr media
We visited there for the first time in a while.
There were a greenhouse, a Japanese garden and rose beds in the garden, and they were so fun for us.
My daughter enjoyed watching and touching mushrooms, fallen leaves and flowers.
A Starbucks was in the garden, and had a long queue as usual.
People enjoy taking a walk while drinking some coffee they bought the Starbucks.

Sometimes it would be nice to go to a park where we have never been to before.
Then, we went to Nogawa Park today.
There was Chofu Airport near the park, and it was fun that we can see airplanes flying over our head.
For our lunch, I made sandwiches last night, and my daughter was eating and looked tasty, and I got happy.
Tumblr media
The north side of the park, there was Nature Observation Garden, and we can see many kind of plants.
A short distance from the entrance, I found there was a poisonous mushroom called “Kaentake” or known as “Poison fire coral”.
After finding out about the species, they are distributed in Japan, China and so on.
It has a deadly poison that just only three grams can kill a human, and it’s said that touching it could cause inflammation.

My daughter likes elephants and today we went to Ueno Zoological Gardens to see them.
But the place that elephants are in was being remodelled then.
Elephants were in a small booth and we weren’t able to see them closely.
But she looked fun even though they were in a distance.
Tumblr media
I didn’t expect that my daughter was into reptiles in the zoo.
There were a lot kind of creatures in the zoo, such as lizards, turtles, snakes and alligators.
My daughter was excited watching them.
On the other hand, my daughter didn’t seem to be interested in other popular animals such as giant pandas, giraffes or hippopotamuses.
