Hey, please don't do this. Don't insist that people need to reblog a post in order to make sure they're okay to be around. That pressures others, and it makes the environment hostile. My post was meant to point out an issue I've noticed in this fandom, a trend of frankly racist headcanons that've been making me, a latina fan, very uncomfortable. Please don't turn this post into a pressure point for other people. However, I will also say, to the people responding to this post, please also don't turn this post into your excuse to talk about how Zora is hot. I get it, she's pretty, but talking about how much you're in love with her and how she's soooo pretty, and how that's why you know these hc's are wrong, misses the point entirely, and it's uncomfortable to read.

can we please stop being weird about zora. she's a grown adult woman of color and it's really fucking creepy to see people being like 'omg zora probably can't read... she's totally feral, she eats raw meat and pisses on the forest floor like a dog, she probably had to be taught how to speak by bliss ocean--' like jesus CHRIST.

Do you understand how creepy that actually fucking is to say. it makes my skin crawl reading it, frankly. her parents were fucking archeologists, they died when she was Young, not when she was an Infant, she is Not some feral beast living in the woods eating squirrels with her bare hands, and the fact that y'all don't say this about any of the other characters in epithet, only the latina/indigenous woman is the grossest part of it all. it's not like you can't say that zora doesn't take showers or shit like that, cuz that shit is canon, I know, but can we just have 'cowgirl who doesn't shower' without the added detail of 'omg and also she was raised feral and eats raw meat out of a dog bowl and-' like y'all. cmon.
