Hi this is more of a request. I am on my 4th kit of the 1:1400 Enterprise D, this after having one as a child and recently came back to model making a couple of years ago to complete a Nebula conversion of this and completing again with different registries and after seeing your great work on the Voyager and Enterprise C kit I would love to see your take on this one.
I did build that particular kit a few times back in the 90s, I even attempted a Nebula conversion, it certainly would be good to have another go if I could ever find one!

Hi, your videos are a great chill watch and inspired me to get into modeling. Do you have a post or list of the brushes and other basic supplies you use? I'm quickly realizing that there's a jillion things you need! Thanks!
Hello! Yes I have an Amazon page that lists some of the tools I use. As for brushes I just use a variety of small cheap brushes, the Gold Taklon range from this brand for example.

Hey, random question here. What ever happened to Ian, or "IC-Model Kits and Sculpts"? I feel like he's wiped himself off the face of the internet. I know you've had some collaborations of sorts with him, so I'm sure you've kept in touch with him to some degree. Wondering if he's doing all right.
Yeah we've kept in touch, you can find him at https://www.instagram.com/somnium_effects/

My question is about the AMT/Round 2 1:2500 Enterprise D model, specifically about the decals. On my model, the large decal on the underside of the warp nacelles doesn't line up with the model; physical panel lines on the model don't line up with printed panel details. The same goes for the top nacelle decal where lining up the two oval vents make the rest of the decal not line up with the line markings closest to the Bussard collectors. Is this a normal issue? Is it due to my inexperience? TY!
Hi there,
It won't be anything you've done, it'll just be a mismatch between the decals and the kit. The kit was first molded in the late 80s I believe, and the decals came much later with rereleases, so they weren't designed at the same time. Mine had the exact same issues as yours, sometimes you just have to overlook it and move on! One good way to avoid it would be to sand down the raised detail and let the decals do all the work, but I suppose that's too late for yours.
