cute little mini garden set from the bullseye section at target for $5!! comes with a mini spade/trowel, a soil shovel bucket, a roll of garden twine, 6 wood stakes, and 6 seed packets. i was kind of expecting sort of flimsy metal for the trowel and bucket but it’s actually quite solid.

whenever i’m repotting something rather small i always have trouble with normal sized trowels and always end up using a spoon from the kitchen so this is really useful for me. the other stuff are kind of just perks lololol

plant babes i need help!!!! i got this elephant ear alocasia early september. when i first got it she pushed out a new leaf but since then she’s been dropping leaves one by one. first they start to droop and then slowly they turn brown.

she’s sits about 3/4 feet away from my south facing window and i have a blue/red/white LED plant light that faces her about the same distance away. the house stays around 70°F and i leave the fan running in my room most of the day. i water her whenever the soil is mostly dry, i tend to bottom water because i am constantly battling fungus gnats (🙄).

i read somewhere that sometimes they go dormant in winter? i live on the east coast in the US and it’s still relatively warm here so i’m not sure that’s it. some sites also said it could be overwatering or not enough humidity. i would like the repot her into a chunkier soil mix but i worry that it’d be the last straw.

if you have any tips please let my know!! i really like this plant and would hate to see her go.

the past few months have been filled with an abysmal amount of the sims. it’s honestly appalling how much of my time is consumed by it. i don’t even play the actual game - i just decorated houses (not even build them, i take pre built houses and furnish it as my own) and make pretty girls

hello crystal gurus and witches - i need help!! i’m trying to sort through my growing crystal collection and i’m struggling to identify a lot of them. i started collecting crystals before the age of ten and have lost track of a lot of the names of the ones i’ve collected, in recent years i’ve gotten better about tracking that. i was able to identify a good handful with apps, google, and my eye balls 👁️👁️ so yay me for that

any help is greatly appreciated because i’m at a loss with a lot of them, i have some decent guesses on some of them but nothing i’m solid on. i think good handful of them might just be dyed agates but i’m not sure
