Happy happy happy day I got my hair dyed pink which just broke down so many boundaries for me. I had all these walls built up with preconceived gender roles, and I’ve been slowly tearing them down one by one, but this was a really big step for me and it mad me feel really happy. Funny how the most feminine hair style I’ve tried in forever is the one that makes me feel the most comfortable in my gender identity and expression. With all that said, fuck gender roles. Go dye your hair pink. Go try on makeup. Go wear a suit, or a skirt, or a dress, or a blazer, or button up. Go try on jewelry! Just in general, that thing you’ve wanted to do but haven’t because of gender roles? Go do it! :D

A ton of my old stuff has started being reblogged again and I’m not sure why but I’m hella grateful none-the-less. Everyone who’s reblogged is super sweet, and I love reading all the tags, but this one in specific made me so happy to read. Mare, you have no idea how much this means to me. I love to animate, and my main goal in life is for my stuff to leave an impact on others. For my work to be labeled as one of the coolest things to EVER happen to someone???
