So I really enjoy the idea of making mystical or supernatural concepts work in modern day. I actually really love the US version of Being Human and how they handled this. It's a total cornball show to some, sure. But I love to go back from time to time and watch it. Its fun to watch, and the characters still smile despite their circumstances, but at the same time its got this mix of edgy vampire-isms, trauma of transformation, and existential crisis of first being human and trying to regress back to that.
And want to consume more stuff like that!
No big adventure needed, just these characters existing and having to deal with the reality of how part of them doesn't fit in society.
Any recs?

Now that TV12 is settled, here's the regularly scheduled posting of Lost in the Hamptons!
Lost in the Hamptons
My reality tv comedy is up for all! You can start reading:
here
What its about:
Lost in the Hamptons is a comedy-romance about ten gorgeous women competing for the love of an A-list celebrity. This comedy presents the classic reality TV format written with a fun twist.
I originally wrote this as a challenge from my friends. They threw 10 characters at me, all with traits they wished they could see more in the genre. And instead of just eliminating characters however I felt it necessary, I used RNG to calculate the odds with the challenge of creating a cohesive story without altering the odds.

"Let's suppose that there is a bomb underneath this table between us. Nothing happens, and then all of a sudden, "Boom!" There is an explosion. The public is surprised, but prior to this surprise, it has seen an absolutely ordinary scene, of no special consequence. Now, let us take a suspense situation. The bomb is underneath the table and the public knows it, probably because they have seen the anarchist place it there. The public is aware the bomb is going to explode at one o'clock and there is a clock in the decor. The public can see that it is a quarter to one. In these conditions, the same innocuous conversation becomes fascinating because the public is participating in the scene. The audience is longing to warn the characters on the screen: "You shouldn't be talking about such trivial matters. There is a bomb beneath you and it is about to explode!"
