i have never been a fan of sebaciel, because both characters are not that interesting to me, but this otp existed when many of you were not even born yet, and it has always been one of the main foundations of the title. it's time for the notorious antis who have problems with the perception of reality to get the fuck off our fandoms. the father-son relationship, yeah. just an amazing level of denial.

Wow i can’t believe this silky headcanon AU had become a monstrous 12k+ word already 😵

Just updated chap 3 and starting chap 4

AU where Sebastian is contracted with Vincent and not o!Ciel. The incident never happened. So to o!Ciel, he’s this slightly creepy, slightly funny butler that follows his dad everywhere and sometimes appears seemingly out of thin air in the dark. He’s also the only one who pays the boys any attention and hang around him when there isn’t any urgent matter (mostly so Sebastian can make one-sided sarcastic remarks about Vincent to an audience who doesn’t understand/cannot babble to his master).

Sebastian initially regards o!Ciel more like a sickly kitten; slowly he grew infatuated, protective, even possessive. It gets to a point where he would readily betray Vincent if he’s in a situation where he has to choose.

O!Ciel is likely attached. After one of the kidnapping attempts, he doesn’t feel safe with anyone but Sebastian and r!Ciel, not even his parents.

R!Ciel is still a brat to Sebastian (like in the manga). He find any chance to abuse and talk down to him (similar to Alois to Hannah) even though he doesn’t know Sebastian’s true nature.

Sebastian calls Vincent “dana-sama” and r!Ciel “Ciel-sama”. O!Ciel is still lovingly called “bocchan” (But Sebastian refers to him as “kitten” in his head.)

Think at this point, Seb has had his suspicion about UT... After all, not a lot of people could escape a demon and judging by his expression and the way his fingers flexed, I think he's remembering what happened the last time they'd encountered UT, or rather, what almost happened.

He made a mistake on Campania, leaving Ciel undefended and we all know how that went.

What he hadn't expected was to be put in a similar situation later that night...

Look at UT just sitting there on top of the ledge to observe the chaos. He could've grabbed Ciel at anytime, especially with Seb being distracted. But he didn't. He wanted to see what the demon would do this time. Would he make the same mistake and prioritize his order? Just like what he did on Campania?

As we know, Seb chose to go to Ciel instead of attempting an attack, even going as far as going against his master's direct order. Which resulted to this...

UT acknowledged it. He even had expected it. I guess since he'd seen Seb's cinematic record, he'd seen how much the demon had changed. This sequence right here was some sort of a test, maybe? I don't know. UT is such a mysterious character and I'd love to see his flashback when the time comes. Until then though, we can only speculate.

With this, he has now confirmed that Seb would prioritize Ciel's safety over anything else, even his order.

Is it a good thing or a bad thing?

It's both.

It's a good thing because Ciel is more protected this way.

It's bad because UT can and will use that against them.

And I think, Sebastian knew it too...
