MOMENT MADE OF GLASS (hinny oneshot)

Nothing has ever felt so wonderful. Then again, nothing has ever felt this fragile, either. The moment seems like its made of glass: unfathomably vulnerable and incomprehensibly beautiful.

No canvas over his head, only the high ceiling of his room.

In his room, no threat of death; only Ginny.

In the filtered sunlight coming through the curtains he watches her sleep with her mouth slightly open. Laying on his side with the side of his face on the same pillow as Ginny's,  he doesn't even have to wear his glasses to see how beautiful she is.

Her arched eyebrows and beneath them the slow movements of her eyeballs behind her pale eyelids. She's dreaming.

Of him?  Of them? Who knows.

Watching her dream is something he could get used to, he thinks.

Lightly, ever so lightly, he presses the pad of his thumb to her cupids bow; drags it over her cheekbone; traces her parted lips. A jolt of amazement courses through him when she doesn’t shy away from his touch.

How is it that she has come to love him so? When he’s been unaware of her existence for years, when he’s left her behind in the hell that was Hogwarts, when he’s  shunned her as he brooded in the aftermath of the battle?

Is it possible to love someone so unconditionally, unflinchingly, limitlessly? Infinitely?

In that instant, the rush of emotions is too much for him to bear.

Or is it that he wants to make sure this isn't a dream?

Either way, he leans over and presses his mouth to hers.

I wake up. My first thought is Harry; my second thought that he's close- so very, very close. His lips glide over mine effortlessly.

It takes me the trillionth of a minute to respond.

he's always been the tender sort in the morning – forehead kisses and warm nuzzling. But today his lips are urgent. We kiss and kiss and kiss. Like our lives depend on it. Maybe our lives  does depend on it.

In the brief moments when his lips are free, he whispers my name over and over.

How long we lie there kissing, only Merlin knows. But then his hot mouth is against my neck.

“Want you, Gin" , he says. His words don't even have the time to linger on my neck when he enters me.

He thrusts, hard and fast. Once, twice, thrice.

Abruptly, his thrusts slow down. They become almost lazy.

In and out , gently, in and out.

I Have no idea what's with him today, but what's the point in even asking when he's as close to me as two humans can possibly be? There's no point in talking when I can hear all he's saying.

Saying he loves me, wants me; that this is wonderful, unimaginable; that he doesn't know how he came by it. That he doesn't know if he can stop, doesn't know if he wants to stop.

No, there’ll be time to ask him later.

In the middle of it all, he says, “Safe. Feel so safe.”

“I'm glad, Harry”, I tell him.

“And loved. So loved,” he moans.

and arthur keeps thinking im married to the most beautiful woman and she thinks could he be more handsome and while they dance they smile a smile of pure happiness

Molly and Arthur in the kitchen of the burrow, he had just finished building it, and it’s piled high with boxes that their busy sorting through, but the la vie en rose by Louis Armstrong comes on the radio, and they just stop what they’re doing and dance, gazing at each other lovingly while the gnomes frolic in the garden <3

THIS IS AMAZING and also imagine Ginny going to the girls dormitory and all her friends are waitting for her and they are like " HOW WAS IT" and they are all so happy for Ginny and she is blushing as she tells them all kinds of details and they start a party and they stay up all night and they are making to much noise and then McGonagall comes and she is like "whats going on? " and one of the girls is like " HARRY KISSED GINNY IN THE COMMON ROOM DIDNT YOU HEAR? " and they all start laughing and then McGonagall goes "It took him long enough" and the girls just loose it and McGonagall leaves and they keep been loud.

But like can you imagine Harry getting back to the boys dormitory after his first kiss with Ginny. Like after the day ends and they both separate to go to bed. Can you imagine how thrilled he would be? Not only had he wanted to be with her for almost the whole school year, but he also initiated the kiss. This boy is touch-starved and almost always gets uncomfortable if he has to touch someone or they touch him. He’d be practically jumping with joy that he had kissed her AND it worked out. I’m literally crying happy tears at imagining how happy he’d be. 🥲

Olliver: I like Quidditch? Men, Quidditch is my life, is my reason to wake up, is everytbing good that there is in life
