About a year ago I moved to a country where on average we get about 14 hours of electricity a day, although the timing is sporadic. Recently a friend has been helping me develop a plan for a solar/battery system (quite common here) that will allow me to have a more stable electrical connection, but it's a lot of work including rewiring a significant portion of the house. Things like this are why I don't get to draw much anymore 🙃
