Sunday Morning Laziness

The warm sunlight came through the slim lines in the curtains of Stacy's room. She didn't usually sleep in late, but nonetheless, it was the weekend, and she felt like treating herself to lie in. Stacy isn't normally the one up later, as she tends to sleep until 10am. Bex would be up soon after, around half 10. Then the earliest for Silly would be half 12. Half 11am if she's lucky. Stacy sat up from her bed, stood up, and stretched as she slowly tried to wake herself up. Her nightgown swishing and swaying with her every movement like an elegant dress fit for an old black and white film.

RISK, RISK, RISK!

MORE BEX ART BECAUSE WHY NOT??? This drawing was completely out of nowhere cuz I was meant to work on another drawing with Silly and Stacy. That was until Jhariah released their new album "TRUST CEREMONY" and. Holy void, it's BRILLIANT. EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. AND JUST. BEST ALBUM OF 2024. GO LISTEN TO IT. I DON'T CARE IF YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD OF JHARIAH. LISTEN TO THE ALBUM- I'll shut up. ---

Soooooo, what does this all have to do with Bex? I basically associate Jhariah's music with her :] Especially the songs "FIRE4FUN" and the song that inspired this piece, "RISK, RISK, RISK!" Those are my top favourite songs at the moment and they're both such Bex vibes. I think it's the really chaotic and energetic vibes they have it's just Bex in music form almost. I'm REALLY really happy with this art, especially the posing! I also referenced the cover used for the single for the background. It got me using my least favourite colour to work with- yes- it's orange. I don't hate the colour itself (I have a good few OCs that have orange in their palette), I just find it to be a difficult colour to go with other colours in a nice way. OH YEAH- you may notice Bex's makeup was done a bit different, that's cuz I plan to make that a sort of "alternative look" for her! She would also be wearing sunglasses alongside it too! So get used to seeing this look, cuz I'm not joking, I have ANOTHER TMM trio drawing in mind that does featured Bex with this look :]

OH WOW DID I JUST POST FANART????? YES I DID. I'm after finding myself becoming VERY interested in Hermitcraft, mainly watching Joel/Smallishbeans' POV of the newest season :] Where do I even start with Joel??? He's funny, I mean REALLY funny (imo), I dunno what it is but everytime he uploads a new vid I'm always so excited to see it. Seriously he may be one of my favourite youtubers at the moment.

Soooooo I drew his MC skin! I also saw many people drawing their own designs/takes on the hermits and figured I do the same myself! It's not much, but I did things like adding antennas (kinda referencing the fact his mc skin was Shrek) and just in general adding green accented accessories. I'm not that confident when it comes to drawing humans, mainky cuz my style isn't built for it, but I REALLY enjoyed this whole process and I think this piece has made me feel a little bit more happy with how I draw people :]. I definitely wanna get to drawing Grian and Scar, I've been watching their POVs too and I just love their skins so I gotta draw them. ESPECIALLY SCAR'S, I love his hat for some reason, I dunno why but the hat is so cool. I've just been ping-ponging between Hermitcraft and Alton Towers for the past few weeks which is FUN. I do wanna add more variety to this account as it is soooooo drawing some hermits seems like a good start :] Also this is completely random but still on topic sort of- buuut do keep in mind if I go on about funny scenarios with the hermits, I'm mainly going on about the characters they portray in the series and not the real people behind them! I feel I should clarify this cuz sometimes there's a bit of an awkward thing to distinguish when it comes to stuff like this.

This one is going to be something to explain. My thought process is random and weird, you've been warned HA. OK SO- basically I was listening to Andrew WK, as I usually do. I then found out that Andrew WK made a song for the first Jackass film. I listened to the song (it's called "We Want Fun" btw) and I started thinking of the show itself. THEN I made the connection that I associate a majority of Andrew WK's music with Silly, and he made a song for Jackass. So, THEN I thought to myself "the show Jackass is about crazy stunts and people doing dumb shit. Silly would LOVE IT". THEEENNNNNN I had the idea of her referencing the iconic "Hi I'm Johnny Knoxville, and welcome to Jackass" line. Had to draw it cuz she would DEFINITELY do a reference like this. Then I drew it. Did you manage to follow along and understand my thought process? No? Good. You weren't meant to. This is also my first attempt at fully drawing cuts/injuries WOOOOOOO! Now I can point to this when I say that "my content isn't for kids" HAH. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out honestly, those nearly 5 hours were worth it. Also yes, before you ask, blood in TMM is the colour black. I dunno why, I just think using actual dark blood red colours would be too much for TMM. (I say that and there's still lore to be unveiled that is.... definitely a lot more than "red blood being too much") ALSO also, despite all the cuts and bruises on her, Silly's actually fine. She's the toughest out of the 3. So she's kinda used to being this beat up from the realms she's been to. --- also her last name obviously isn't "Knoxville" btw- she doesn't use or like her second name cuz of lore reasons I wanna reveal in TMM's story later on.

I felt like I was never going to finish this. But I did! I got addicted to the song "Everybody Likes You" by Lemon Demon again and found myself associating the song with Bex. So what do I do when I associate a song with an OC? I draw some art based off of it obviously. Bex just can't catch a break, can she? Anyways, I still don't really know why I associate a song as sporadic and crazy as this one with Bex. Most of my reasons for when I associate songs with OCs is just "probably something they'd listen to/sing". But in this case I genuinely don't know why I think it's a "Bex song". I guess what the art here suggests is that, uh, it's relating to her trying to calm down when she is struggling to stay calm.... yeah. I've also been on a bit of an MLP high at the moment and I'm pretty sure stuff like Pinkie Pie in the episode Party of One and Twilight in Lesson Zero also indirectly inspired this. Honestly the more early 2010s and before stuff that I find that inspired TMM the more I realised this show should've just been made in the 2010s full stop HAH. I also think I'm possibly fuelling some unknown TMM creepypasta fire once I post this. I can almost see the "TMM CREEPYPASTA WHERE BEX GOES INSANE AND PULLS AN MLP CUPCAKES OOOOOOOOH SCARY OOOOOOH ISN'T THIS SCARY THAT A PLUSHIE CAT IS GOING STABBY STAB OOOOOOH-" Would be pretty funny tho not gonna lie and would add to the whole "TMM being a show from the 2010s" feel LOL. Also thanks to one of my friends that helped me out with suggesting ideas on this. This drawing actually underwent a redraw during the process cuz I didn't like how it turned out the first time so shoutout to them.

also uhhhh I feel like I should clarify here while I still can cuz I'm a bit paranoid of stuff like this but don't take my word for gospel and start drawing a fuck ton of gorey/REALLY edgy TMM creepypasta art- honestly it would be best if you ask before hand and don't be surprised if i give a "no" answer. Just wanted to mention that since I know I joke about "OOOH TMM CREEPYPASTA OOOOH EDGY TMM FAN CONTENT" but I don't want people to just instantly assume I would be fine with it. OK, this is a bit SUDDEN to see Bex in Wonderland art again. Buuuuut- I found a song that sampled what I think is audio from an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. What one, I wouldn't know, my best guess is an audio drama or some film adaptation I've never seen. Either way, the dialogue featured is what's heard at the start of the song. And upon hearing it I INSTANTLY got inspiration to draw Bex in Wonderland art again. I didn't expect it one bit, but here we are. Also. I know what you're thinking, "But [saysike], isn't Smiler already the Cheshire Cat??" To that I say, they're no longer the cat in this AU. Yeah I'm not joking I changed who's the cat in this AU. The decision was made after I realised how odd it is for Smiler to be the Cheshire Cat. On paper (or screen), it's fitting cuz they're already a cheshire cat. But then I remember this AU is called "Bex in Wonderland", and if you have seen art of Bex and Smiler in the same scene or have read the Ride Souls story "Realms Overlap". You'd know that Bex is a bit scared of Smiler. Soooo I went with the next best option for someone to fit the role of Cheshire. And that was Silly! Since she knows her way around realms and knows what to do when something goes wrong (sometimes), it made sense that in Bex's Wonderland dream that she'd encounter Silly as the smiling mad ca- wait Silly's a coyote. Smiling mad coyote, yeah, Cheshire Coyote, I guess. To think that Bex has already dealt with enough nonsense to then be met with friends of hers that are apart of the colourful cast of Wonderland. ANYWAYS, hope you guys like this cuz I sure as hell enjoyed making this.

Coaster Modes

Spinball seems to become more easily frightened in this "Coaster Mode" that happens between the 3 ride spirits. They tend to be more quick in their movements. Running away at the slightest sound that startles them. Sometimes, they're briefly seen by arcade machines before they're suddenly gone, and pixels are only seen in place of Spinball.

Unlike the more timid nature of Spinball. The Smiler is more "mad" in her mannerisms. She tends to be more giggly, sometimes unable to control herself when she's laughing. Her eyes when she's in this coaster mode can only put someone in a daze, however. She's pretty harmless when she doesn't have anything to marmalise anyone, as she can't do much without it.

Galactica doesn't seem too affected when her coaster mode is active. She seems to float a bit, with stars and constellations orbiting her. She speaks more quietly, only The Smiler and Spinball Whizzer can really hear her. She's seen to be with The Smiler and Spinball Whizzer while they're in their coaster modes. Almost as a guardian of sorts for the 2.

Here's the first ever look at one of the (many) AUs I have! I made a TMM AU of the trio being ride spirits for certain Alton Towers rides :D. Basically I made this AU last year cuz I thought it would be cool to see what the trio would be like. I mainly chose the rides they would be based off of personality, and also what they would like if they themselves went to Alton Towers :]. Also to clarify, Bex, Silly and Stacy still have their names, it's just that the 3 chose the names themselves in this AU, and everyone else (like park characters and such) would know them by their 'coaster names' if you get me. I'll talk more about them once more art and such is made- but for now- here's their coaster modes! :D

NEMESIS BIRTHDAY WOOOOOOOOO

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NEMESIS!!!!! HOPE YA LIKE THE CAKE- do alien crabs like cake- I hope so cuz I can't provide cake made out of human meat, unfortunately.

Why the heck would I celebrate a roller coaster's birthday, you may ask? Because I can. That's why. Jokes aside I'm SO surprised to know of Nemesis turning 30 years old. But also happy that it can probably stand another 30 years now with its new retrack it got :] I know this isn't the usual art you'll see from me but I genuinely have such a love for Alton Towers you won't BELIEVE the chokehold this park has had on me since late 2019. I kinda wanna get into coaster art a lot more cuz listening to the soundtracks, watching videos and researching about them is just not enough for me. I need to draw the damn rides. Soooo, if you see sketches of the Marmaliser, ride tracks and such pop up, that's why. That's all I gotta say really, uhhh, stream the Alton Towers soundtrack on whatever music platform you listen to music on, I tell ya, from someone who loves theme parks, the music is actually so good.

I know, out of NOWHERE I finally post about [saysike] and Ankou. It's random but I don't care heh. I've been playing around with the real 'look' of the likes of [saysike], Ankou, and those guys. I also then had the idea of drawing [saysike] laughing while Ankou is completely unphased. Fun fact: sleep paralysis demons (which Ankou is), from the world I made with these guys don't feel/ know emotions! So usually it doesn't understand how [saysike] acts like how they do since it doesn't know what having emotions is like. Don't worry though, Ankou isn't cold hearted or anything, it tries its best to understand emotions.

Jokes aside, I was listening to Andrew WK (as I usually do), and if you were around on the Internet during the early 2010s like I was, then you may know a certain animation that featured one of his songs. Yes, I'm going on about Cupcakes HD. So, since I associate the song "Ready To Die" with Silly, I decided to draw a sorta "thumbnail" styled like the likes of Cupcakes HD, Smile HD, all that. This time switching around to be Silly! Looking happy and definitely not about to go on a realm adventure that'll end horribly wrong in any way! ---

[Also I feel the need to clarify that I would never draw extreme Cupcakes HD levels of gore- the worst I would ever draw is a really bloody nose and even then I'd feel like that's too much for my OCs HA- (says the person who's also seen The Suicide Squad) ]

Jokes aside, I was listening to Andrew WK (as I usually do), and if you were around on the Internet during the early 2010s like I was, then you may know a certain animation that featured one of his songs. Yes, I'm going on about Cupcakes HD. So, since I associate the song "Ready To Die" with Silly, I decided to draw a sorta "thumbnail" styled like the likes of Cupcakes HD, Smile HD, all that. This time switching around to be Silly! Looking happy and definitely not about to go on a realm adventure that'll end horribly wrong in any way! ---

[Also I feel the need to clarify that I would never draw extreme Cupcakes HD levels of gore- the worst I would ever draw is a really bloody nose and even then I'd feel like that's too much for my OCs HA- (says the person who's also seen The Suicide Squad) ]
