So I'm due to start college 6-7 weeks after my op, and I'll have to endure a 1 hour busy journey every morning and evening. Will this be bad for my back? Are buses like forbidden or? Idk...I sound weird. But yeah, help please? <3

Hi, i just read your whole entire blog in 30mins. I'm 14 and live in Australia, was diagnosed with scoliosis about 5 months ago. Getting my brace in less then 2 weeks now! Actualy not scared by it at all. So sorry to hear you have back pain, I'm sure it's not the same, but I know how you feel. :)

So my school got completely rebuilt over Summer and I'm in a completely different building

They have these new chairs which are so fucking uncomfortable though, like, I can't even describe how uncomfortable they are.

They're designed to make you sit up straight, which makes it so painful for me.

Update: my curve got measured yesterday and was 52/53 degrees. i've also been put on the waiting list for the op

however, i have to decide over the next 12 months whether i actually want the op or not, seeing as i'll be 16 when i have it and won't need my parents consent

waertyutrd such a big decision :-(
