I tend to draw everything with the same soft pillow-like texture, so painting different surfaces is important practice for me ~ If you want to learn more about how I do this, check out my tutorial on painting different surfaces over on patreon!
hello, i don't know if that's rude to ask, but um what version would you recommend to start pokemon with? There's so many generations, I'm kinda confused in what i should play first... don't feel obligated to answer tho!

Thank you! :) You could probably start with any game honestly, all of them are very thorough with tutorials! Depending on what console you have I would say the most recent game is the most updated, Scarlet and Violet are very fun and have some of my favorite characters in the franchise. Plus it takes place at a school so its all about teaching trainers to understand pokemon! :)
Do you know about the collaborative creature design and worldbuilding project Sagan 4? It's a community project--meaning anyone can join and participate--and the oldest surviving one of its kind, too, at 17 years! It's kinda like fakemon and regional forms in a lot of ways and there's multiple people in it who started as fakemon artists so
I have not!! That sounds so awesome, I'll check it out 馃檪
