My apathy about my nearly 18yo DA account getting yeeted last year has certainly come to a middle.
Was already pulling away thanks to the UI increasingly getting stupider and messier and it wasn't til my account got banned did I realize how much I was actively avoiding checking in on there.
Another good reason to leave Deviant art.
Besides them making it clear that A/I generated images are allowed on an ARTIST PORTFOLIO SITE. They are now straight up promoting it and using it for profit.
We can see this in their new post on twitter
How they gain profit from this is as shown in their video ( Link ). They talk about subscriptions and how if you join as one of their sellers. You too can make thousands with stolen work. Also note they do get a percentage of the profit the seller makes.
So if you need any reason to delete your account on DA, here another reason too.
I deleted mine about 2 years ago. The moment they decided to make their own A/I generator, I was out.
Alternatives?
Inkblot art: they don't allow any A/I generated images.
Thats the only site I can think of at this time but other things you can do is join an art discords that are pro human artist.
Or post your work on your social media, make sure to glaze them ( glaze is a program that will make your art work, photos, just images in general, hard to replicate in an A/I generator) and make a site for your art portfolio.
Done rather rapid fire as a bit of fun a while ago after seeing that 'tape armour' bit.
All my own ancient OC's.

So I have seen this sooo many times on twitter, AI bros and pro AI people saying that "AI generators can help Disabled people be creative."
Just too tell you all my older sister whom I take care of along with my mother. Is mentally disabled and loves too paint and doesn't care for AI generated images. I even told her about it, how it works, everything and her comment was "isn't that cheating". Literally what she said.
(this is an old photo from the facebook account and the one with the Pink and black hoodie is my sister. Julia)
Also back in California she went to an art class for DISABLED people and even too this day, none of them use AI generated images because they enjoy the process of making art or being creative. If you want to know the school it's called Claraty Arts . I also added the link if you want to check them out and maybe buy some art from their talented artist who didn't allow their disabilities to get in the way of them being creative.
Also too add some well known artist who were Disabled:
Frida Kahlo
Vincent Van Gogh
Yayoi Kusama
Ángela de la Cruz
Ray Charles
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec
Django Reinhardt
Stevie Wonder (blind but wrote music)
Alice Sheppard
Rick Allen
Yinka Shonibare
Ryan Gander
Stephen Wiltshire
Uttam Kumar
Ian Dury
Hank Williams
Gaelynn Lea
Muniba Mazari
Itzhak Perlman
And the list continues...
So Disabled people don't need AI generators too help them, they can be creative themselves without using a program that does it for you.
If anything AI bros and pro AI people sound more ableist to say that they can't be creative without these programs.
I've been animating this commission for a long time.
The character turned out to be very detailed.
There was another reason.
My cat Enya died in the summer of August 5th at 19 years of age.
As I write this, I realize that it is still very difficult for me.
I once animated short film for my college. There was character based on my cat in it. Would you like to see it? I made it in 2014. Quite raw and unfinished work. I now have a dream - to redo this short with my current skills.
I don't plan to open commissions anytime soon. I’m thinking of finishing the gift and animating one commission that was promised a long time ago.
After this I hope to start remake of a short film. Maybe couple of commissions between the scenes.
After nearly 20 years may be at the end of my diagnostic hell journey
Anyone who saw my DeviantArt likely saw my occasional grump and diagnostic posts.
Been previously been formally diagnosed with Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia (resting heart rate of 100+ bpm and random palpitations and speed up with no trigger) and Hypophosphatemia (low phosphate salts in blood).
Those two took best part of 15 years to come to due to being very rare, but both are symptoms without a cause.
They've caused exercise intolerance, fatigue, pain and brain fog. Going on phosphate supplements and Coenzyme Q10 helped some, but was still having pain, issues exercising, random fatigue and brain fog.
Finally been formally diagnosed with the cause for the above symptoms; Pernicious Anemia. Rare but manageable and treatable.
I start on a 4 round booster shots of B12 this coming week then 4 shots per year for the rest of my days.

May start posting any more I do and some previous ones here.
I also kinda felt like he was also not exactly thinking straight after being beaten around so badly and taking several pretty nasty blows to the head and face that would have out right killed a human/awoken just from the sheer damage done. Surviving as he did only because of being an Exo and thus a lot more durable to a point.
Plus neither Cayde nor Sundance couldn't have known one of the scorn had a gun capable of firing Devourer bullets. There was the high risk Sundance getting damaged when she came out in far less than ideal circumstances, but that just guaranteed any shot was going to be a kill shot.
I know Cayde's death is a subject that's been beaten to death over and over but. I think this week's lore tab answered why Cayde, an otherwise extremely competent Guardian, would summon his Ghost in the middle of a battle.
At the start of the cutscene, Cayde had just been resurrected. If being resurrected is like waking up from a sleep or coma like Saint said and you need time to fully reorient yourself, maybe Cayde hadn't fully "woken up" as it were before he pulled Sundance out his pocket
Yeah for sure. Cayde was in a life and death situation and probably overestimated his odds, due to having just been rezed and then experiencing the high of a combat situation. And I know people also fault Sundance for actually doing it, but we know from other Ghosts that they almost universally have a compulsion to help their Guardians. Like, it's innate. Not everyone has it equally, but their instinct is to protect their Chosen.
Time and time again, we've seen Ghosts going into dangerous situations and even accepting certain death in order to protect their Guardians. Sundance healing him and then dying for him could've given him a chance to escape. It's a risk worth taking, especially with this whole explanation that being freshly rezed is not putting you at full power in the first place. She wanted to help as soon and as much as possible. It's understandable.
I’ve got 2 more lighting tips today: first one is something I call “soft rendering.” It gives that fuzzy, 90’s anime feel! I hope you all enjoy it! I’ll post the second lighting tip tonight!
