i find your art very cartoon like (like. brazilian cartoon. say, irmão do jorel, historietas assombradas para crianças malcriadas, and even laerte's comics too) but not muppet-y at all. but who knows, i am also just a brazilian who grew up without the muppets
OH!! So a month ago I got a notification that was completely invisible, and I'm checking this inbox once again and I'm only now seeing this.

I HAVE BEEN RIGHTFULLY RESTORED.
AFTER ANNOYING ENOUGH PEOPLE I HAVE BEEN BROUGHT BACK FROM THE DEAD! So what's next? I don't know. I'm not blogging for a while and archiving everything. See you on the other side.
My tumblr accounts were terminated
I'm pretty gutted.☠️ Mon Jul 17 I submitted a ticket, and a couple of days ago I replied to the automatic e-mail reply, and have yet to receive a reason why from tumblr. I don't understand why there is no warning system in place to avoid situations like these, much less why all my blogs would be nuked if I was doing wrong in just one of them (that's what Youtube does with videos or playlists). I've been on tumblr since 2011 and it was such a corner of the internet for me, and as much as I once knew not to trust it, my blogs were safe spaces. It's a big shame because my posts had JUST gotten some rising popularity, getting to the point where I was getting reblogs for original art!!
I was getting followed by various spam and porn related bots, and a friend told me there was a glitch in which random posts were being marked as explicit... who knows. I also have a suspicion there was ill-intent as well. So I'm starting over!
@sofiapagen is now @sofia-pagen and @pequene-ninho is now @pequeneninho
I'm still alive, I will survive. To new beginnings!

Thinking about how a bit ago someone described my art style as "soft" and "muppet-like" and for some reason... I'm offended by that comparison?! I don't have a deep connection to muppets (or puppets in general) so it's like, weird that my 2000s TV inspired Brazilian sensibilities amount to "oh! muppets!" here in the U.S.
I guess it's a sign I'm doing something different.

Doing art with other people is SO MUCH FUN and it's so healing. I went to a writing workshop today and realized how much of what I do is so valid and fun and inspiring to other people??? Like I got compliments for my writing. AND the other day I shared with Andy (bf) a beginning of sorts that I wrote for Martial madness and he really liked it?? He even mentioned it like again the next day???? ??????
It's so stupid how many people I've wanted to hang out with and draw and they're like "but i dont feel like it... :(((" like ok wallow in your own pitty then. I want to improve I want to be challenged I want the rain the fog and the inferno of emotional turmoil in art-making, let's. GO!!!!!!!!!!
