Been having it on repeat non stop ...❤️
Suddenly something has happened to me
As I was having my cup of tea
Suddenly I was feeling depressed
I was utterly and totally stressed
Do you know you made me cry
Do you know you made me die

Abridged Version
Burning bridges is not my forte–
I’ve always stayed, even as the worst
Storms raged; barely hanging on
Knowing it was unsound,
Soon to send me crashing down.
I built bridges, or repaired them,
Reinforcing when they’d sag–
Anything to keep them standing.
But I learned the hard way
Some bridges aren’t worth saving,
Not when leading to darkest depths.
I need light…even if that means
The flickering behind me
As I walk away from the blaze
To travel sturdier bridges
With less sway, that welcome
Me every step of the way.

As far as I could see, life demanded skills I didn’t have. The result was chronic emptiness and boredom.

There’s something dead about it, something deserted. I am like a room where things once happened and now nothing does, except the pollen of weeds that grow up outside the window, blowing in as dust across the floor.

You would rather have gone on feeling nothing, / emptiness and silence; the stagnant peace / of the deepest sea, which is easier / than the noise and flesh of the surface.

Gone mad is what they say, and sometimes Run mad, as if mad is a direction, like west; as if mad is a different house you could step into, or a separate country entirely. But when you go mad you don’t go any other place, you stay where you are. And somebody else comes in.

Nothing compares to you
It's been seven hours and fifteen days
Since u took your love away
I go out every night and sleep all day
Since u took your love away
Since u been gone I can do whatever I want
I can see whomever I choose
I can eat my dinner in a fancy restaurant
But nothing
I said nothing can take away these blues
`Cause nothing compares
Nothing compares 2 u
It's been so lonely without u here
Like a bird without a song
Nothing can stop these lonely tears from falling
Tell me baby where did I go wrong
I could put my arms around every boy I see
But they'd only remind me of you
I went to the doctor and guess what he told me
Guess what he told me
He said, "Girl, you better try to have fun no matter what you do."
But he's a fool
`Cause nothing compares
Nothing compares 2 u
All the flowers that u planted, mama
In the back yard
All died when u went away
I know that living with u baby was sometimes hard
But I'm willing to give it another try
Nothing compares
Nothing compares 2 u
Nothing compares
Nothing compares 2 u
Nothing compares
Nothing compares 2 u
