Its only 4 days until the time runs out on the Starrytellers comic anthology which compiles 11 works by 11 female artists! It’s an amazing anthology that needs your help so it can get funded and go to print. I’m one of the comic artists in the anthology and to help get the kickstarter over the line I’m offering custom drawings for people that pledge :) Send me proof that you’ve pledged- a screenshot of the thank you email or screenshot the confirmation page when you’ve pledged by emailing me at metro(dot)mjk(at)gmail(dot)com and ask what you want drawn and i’ll get right onto it :)

Sneak preview from ‘Lone Wolf,’ my 9-page contribution to Starrytellers Anthology. The Starrytellers anthology will be a 96 page, full colour, offset printed book, with matte soft covers and silver foiling. It features 10 original full colour star-inspired stories by 10 Australian women.  My particular story is also about mental health and the consequences of isolation. I had a lot of fun playing with new techniques! The book is being funded through kickstarter, so grab yourself a copy!

Our second last artist is the fabulous fantabulous jacobin, who comes to Starrytellers bearing gifts of neon 80s space babes across 6 lovingly rendered pages. <3 Something of a specialty!

I hear they're also toiling away at an awesome comic about, yes, 80s synthpop alien space idols, Oxley and Zacria. Music, fashion and all the cyan/magenta combo you can eat - keep an eye on Sam's work if this looks up your alley cause we're pretty sure it'll be rad as heck!
