Fellas, we’ve officially made it. One more assignment and I’m done the semester. Psych final I bossed the FUCK out of. Bio final cooked me but I pray for the curve… so glad final projects got finished too and I just completed my final for gender class (it was a hustle). Tomorrow I start my summer job again!

Let me tell you about the study group I had. I made a discord for everyone in my psyc class and 50 people joined… there were 20 people who attended the study group and it was so fun! We spent the entire day reviewing and getting to know each other and I found some friends to hang out with in the summer which is so cool!

I neglected bio so hard as a result, but I’m sure I’ll pull through somehow… I pray.. anyways, one more thing tomorrow and then I begin my self care summer WOOHOOO!!!!

I almost forgot, I got 100% on my psych assignment! Improvement from the 69% at the beginning of the sem. So proud of me!

Cooked up my bio paper! Now it’s time to get my communications paper done with (I’m never taking another cmns class again) and then it’s time for finals flashcards + psych final project. AHHHHH I also have a final project for cmns which is worth so much and for what reason? Also where is my money and why am I broke???? (I’ve been buying expensive coffees every day)

Data collection IS DONE. Now it’s time to write my results and discussion sections. I’ve never done a t-test or central tendency/dispersion thing before… that means it’s time to learn but ill need to add up my data first. The experiment went really well! I basically played a low frequency sound and had people fill out scavenger hunt activities. Three more weeks until the semester is done, and boy I can feel myself getting more tired by the day. We’ll pull through! And guess what, I finally got a 10/10 on the quiz WAHOOO

It’s that time of the year where I lose all motivation because the sun is out 🌷 SO CLOSE to being done… but have a couple of tough weeks coming up. I’ll be taking the summer slow to work a bit and focus on myself. As of now though, I need to finish proofing my assignment and it’s pretty much done, then it’s time to do some bio and get my papers done this week. It’s time to start up my ankis for finals which will take a lot of commitment!

I’ve spent hours searching for the perfect research article for my assignment and I finally got one. Now it’s time to play the balancing game and try and manage EVERYTHING up to finals week (oh god will I manage) but data collection is coming up and I need to prep a 1) informed consent 2) experimental task 3) debriefing speech. And aaalssoooo I’m trying to chef up another psychology assignment. And I gotta get on my biology + gender class so I can get by… alas we continue the grind. Tomorrows a bio sesh with my classmate and 9 months with my partner! Feels like a lifetime already 🪴

My anki audience 🤞finished that damn psych journal and methods.. was looking at my computer for like 12 hours a day two days straight. Now we got a human biology exam Friday and I have about three hundred ankis to grind through in the next 48 hours.. I know I’ll manage but the grind never does stop

Did someone ask how the research paper is going (absolutely no one asked). To be honest… I’ll probably be up the whole night. I have about two more references to address and two more days and I haven’t started method section or ethics. It’s still doable if I maximize the hustle, but I cannot wait to get a boss grade (I pray) and call it a day. I am enjoying it so far I just wish I had more time AND sleep.

Lots of sunlight to go around! I’ve been exploring campuses and visited my friend at our local college. The views were nice, but I like my uni study spots so much more. Have been getting under 7 hours of sleep lately, it’s been slowly taking its toll… I’m going to try and work on my eating and sleeping habits because it’s so easy to let them slip when things get busy. My quizzes have been going really well but my assignment grade wasn’t what I had hoped for. It’s about trial and error though, so I’m sure I’ll get better at summarizing these research articles with time.

Good morning! Feels like springtime already, the suns come out and I can hear birds chirping. This week is a bit of calm before the storm. I’ve gotten most little things out of the way which means I have more time to myself than usual. Time is such a treat so I’ll probably do some journaling to make good use of it. I find it’s impossible for me to stick to a journaling routine but I still do it now and then which is more than enough. As for responsibilities, I’ll be calling my study group in the evening to go over our quiz questions. Peer review really does help, same with spamming anki flash cards. Take it easy today!
