You often miss how similar Jorah Mormont and Petyr Baelish are in some respects.

They pursued beautiful highborn women far above their station who, and both being southron women who married northern lords. Petyr pined for Catelyn Tully, and fought a duel for her hand against her betrothed, Brandon Stark. Jorah won a tourney with the favor of Lynesse Hightower, he crowned her queen of love and beauty and managed to marry her when he asked for her hand.

Their stories have a romantic element to them with Petyr dueling for Cat's hand and Jorah winning a tourney with Lynesse's favor, but they end up being subverted with neither getting a happy ending. Petyr loses the duel and is nearly killed, and then SAed by Lysa and sent from Riverrun. Jorah's marriage didn't work out, exhausting his family's coffers to provide her the luxuries she was used to and after selling poachers to slavers, which forced him into exile. Catelyn ended up marrying Ned Stark and Lynesse ended up leaving Jorah to be a merchant-prince's concubine.

After that, they found themselves in service to women with Lysa Arryn having Jon Arryn raisie up Petyr and him later serving Queen Cersei while Jorah ending up serving Daenerys in exile. They also end up betraying the people they serve with Littlefinger having a hand in the War of Five Kings and being behind Joffrey's murder, killing Lysa and Jorah spying on Daenerys.

"I've told the khal he ought to make for Meereen," Ser Jorah said. "They'll pay a better price than he'd get from a slaving caravan. Illyrio writes that they had a plague last year, so the brothels are paying double for healthy young girls, and triple for boys under ten. Another thing they have in common is their attitude towards children and sex slavery. Petyr took the orphaned Jeyne Poole, forced her into sexual slavery at one of his brothels as shown by the whippings she endured for refusing and mentioning "she was trained." He then sent her to Ramsay Bolton of all people, likely not being ignorant of the things he had heard about him. Jorah had no qualms selling kids into sex slavery en masse, and when Dany tells him to stop Eroeh from being raped, he initially pushes back saying the Dothraki are claiming "their reward."

It fits their creepy attitude towards the opposite gender with their fixation on young girls after the loss of their previous interests of affection. Petyr fixates on Cat's daughter Sansa Stark who does bear a noted resemblance to her mother while Jorah fixates on Daenerys who he admits looks like his ex-wife.

For half a heartbeat she yielded to his kiss . . . before she turned her face away and wrenched free. "What are you doing?" Petyr straightened his cloak. "Kissing a snow maid." . . . "You shouldn't kiss me. I might have been your own daughter . . ." -ASOS, Sansa VII It was a long kiss, though how long Dany could not have said. When it ended, Ser Jorah let go of her, and she took a quick step backward. "You . . . you should not have . . ." "I should not have waited so long," he finished for her. "I should have kissed you in Qarth, in Vaes Tolorru. I should have kissed you in the red waste, every night and every day. You were made to be kissed, often and well." His eyes were on her breasts. Dany covered them with her hands, before her nipples could betray her. "I . . . that was not fitting. I am your queen." -ASOS, Daenerys I

Their treatment towards these girls can be described as possessive and abusive. While posing to their girls as their protectors, they basically use it to enforce control over them. They force kisses on the girls, and when the girls make it clear they don't want them, simply dismiss them and continue to push. Petyr keeps Sansa in his custody under a false identity, effectively making him her guardian and keeping her completely dependent on him. Jorah tries to isolate Dany from other men in her life from Xaro to Barristan and Daario.

The main difference in Petyr is very vindictive, and works on the downfall of houses Stark and Tully over Cat's rejection and marriage while Jorah stays loyal to Daenerys and tries to seek her favor again. Neither man really takes accountability for the consequences of their actions.

Their fixations will ultimately prove to be their downfalls. Petyr underestimates the danger Sansa potentially poses to him as she is learning from him. Jorah in a desperate act, kidnaps Tyrion, and tries to go to Meereen to regain favor with Daenerys. He likely won't like the Ironborn suitor Victarion, and his actions will likely get himself killed.

Chapter V ✧ Don’t Know How To Feel

‘What the fuck. What. The. Fuck.’

It was all that Rhea could even think about ever since everyone, including her, left the conference room after the meeting was over. She wasn’t even able to react at all the second after she heard the last announcement. Hell, she couldn’t even bother to hear what anyone had to say about that decision- even though no one actually said anything about it, really.

However, when she was called by Triple H about the travel details to South Carolina, it was then that reality was slowly sinking in her mind.

She was going to South Carolina with Roman. Both of them alone with no one to join them.

… for five fucking days.

All because not only were they going to that event, but as well as some stupid conferences and other things that they were also required to assist as well the day after the event.

She was expected to leave along with the other champion Wednesday morning, then return Sunday night. A week before Crown Jewel.

She was leaving in three days.

‘Fuck. Why me? Why the fuck couldn’t it be someone like Raquel, Nia, Becky, or Iyo? WHY ME?’ Is what she would’ve asked Triple H if only she wasn’t too shocked at that moment when he gave her every detail regarding the event and their stay at South Carolina.

Even after the meeting was over, she walked outside along with the others still in shock in disbelief- all the while she could hear Damian blabbering whatever nonsense she was telling her about the event.

“–and also, look, you have a reputation to maintain as a champion and a superstar. I know it sucks that you’re going with Roman and not someone else, but this could actually help y—, Rips, are you even listening to me?”

“Huh?” She turned her head to him as she blinked. At that, Damian sighed before he spoke.

“Look… I know you’re shocked. And you don’t like the idea of going alone with Roman, I get it.” He told her, repeating her the same thing he was telling her earlier when she was actually listening. “You needed to get your shit sorted out, but unfortunately this came up and you can’t back out of it. But think about it- this is gonna help you a lot. More people will be in favor of you, more people having your back- hell, you get to talk to important people. If anything, this is gonna help you in many ways. And honestly, you don’t even have to interact with Reigns. Just talk to him about work and that’s it. Nothing more, nothing less. Plus, we’re all acting like nothing happened, so what’s the big deal?”

Rhea sighed deeply as she looked a bit annoyed for a second as they walked outside, until she finally spoke. “You know Priest, I would’ve liked this idea more if A, it didn’t have to be before Crown Jewel, B, if I didn’t have a date with Dom Dom coming u—“

“Oh shoot, so you and Dom are…?”

“… well, we’re taking things slow for now, but it isn’t really defined yet if we’re truly sticking together or not. Anyways, I would’ve liked it more if only I didn’t have to leave before my date with Dom and before Crown Jewel, but also the fact that Roman, out of all people, is going. I mean, come on—“ She huffed exasperatedly. “Why couldn’t it be Seth? Or Gunther? Or hell, even LA Knight? They’re rising stars right now, why don’t they get that opportunity?”

Damian tried to talk but Rhea could only keep going as she kept speaking. “Or bloody hell- why not Becky, or-or Tegan, Raquel, Charlotte? Why none of them, huh?”

“Rhea, calmate.” Damian told her as he placed a hand on her shoulder. “I’m sure it’s gonna be fine. And plus… knowing you, I know you know your limits at this point. So it’s gonna be fine.”

Rhea still seemed unsure as they stood outside. They were still waiting for the others to go out so that they would all leave together in the same van, especially Roman, since he was talking to Pearce as well as with Triple H about his own travel details and such. Both her and Damian decided to go with their group as they chatted with one another for a bit until they saw Roman and Paul walk out.

“So? How did it go? Authorized or denied?” Finn asked as he stood up. Roman only gave a smile while Paul looked extremely pleased behind him as he spoke.

“I’ll see y’all tomorrow night. Oh- and Damian, make sure you win against Lil Jey. I’ll be watching.”

At that, Damian grinned as he shook Roman’s hand while chuckling. “You bet your ass I will.”

“Good.” He nodded at him before they all went back inside the van as they got ready to finally leave. Rhea sighed as she took her seat with her phone in hand, deciding to get her earbuds out as she was about to listen to music when she suddenly saw Dom walking to her. Perking up, she made some space for him to sit next to her which he noticed as he took the seat.

“Thanks, I almost thought I was gonna fight Theory for the seat.”

At the comment, Rhea snorted. “I’d pay to see that.” She then handed one earbud to Dom, offering him to listen to music with her as he looked at it for a moment before he took it and placed it on his left ear.

Just like how they did all the time before Roman showed up.

Rhea didn’t want to dwell on the thought any further as she was about to put music before she turned to Dom. “Hey… we’re okay for now… right?”

Dom looked up at her, both of them looking each other in the eye before he smiled softly. “… I think we’ll be fine again, but… I’ll miss you when you leave.”

Rhea smiled softly, cupping his left cheek as he spoke. “I’ll be back in no time, okay? And… once we do, we’ll start catching up more.”

“Promise?”

“Promise.”

With that, they both started listening to music, all the while he placed his head against her shoulder while she let him, caressing his hair softly.

Two days later…

“It should fit- although hopefully it doesn’t damage the dress or anything.” Zelina said to Rhea, arriving at the Australian’s hotel room as she handed her a large suitcase for her to place her dress as well as all of her stuff in.

“Well, I’m carrying this one as well as a carry-on, so I should be alright.” Rhea commented as she placed her dress nearly inside the large suitcase as well as some accessories and her heels. “You’re okay with using my suitcase for now just in case?”

“Yeah, no worries, I’ll be alright.” Zelina reassured her. “You can return mine if you want when you come back, doesn’t matter to me.”

Rhea could only nod as she exchanged suitcases with the shorter woman before she finished packing up. She looked at the time and finished packing up and grabbed anything that she needed. “I gotta get going.”

“Alright. If you need anything, just call or text me- also text me when you land.”

“I’ll see you next week, mama verga.”

“What- you keep calling me that, seriously?”

Rhea couldn’t help but laugh as her and Zelina left the room. The Latina could only sign and roll her eyes before she patted the larger woman’s shoulder. “For real though, stay safe out there, alright?”

“I will.” Rhea reassured before she went and took the elevator while Zelina watched her leave and retreated back into her own room with Rhea’s empty suitcase.

Once Rhea arrived at the lobby, she saw the boys were waiting for her. Dominik was the first one to notice her as he looked up from his phone and perked up before he stood and went up to her to help her carry one of the bags.

“You’re ready?”

“Yeah, let’s go.” She gave him a nod as the four then left, walking out from the hotel to the parking area as they got to their rental car. As Damian opened the trunk for Rhea to put her stuff in, she and Dominik began to place her bags in there before closing the trunk. Finn was the one who then started the car as they all started to get in while Rhea decided to listen to some of her own music for a bit.

When they were about to exit the parking area as they talked about the events from last Monday Night Raw, Rhea took off one headphone to listen to them and join their conversation. However, when she did, she caught a glimpse of something outside and only looked up for a bit. She noticed that Jimmy and Roman were already leaving the hotel as well with Roman having his own suitcase as well as a backpack. She saw as they were approaching their own rental car before she decided to stop looking and dismiss it.

She was only going to work.

Only for work. That’s it.

After a while, the group finally arrived at the airport as Finn parked the car by the main entrance as they all got off, with Dominik helping her get her stuff out while she bid a small farewell to the three males, hugging Damian first before Finn. “I’ll see you guys- I’ll call when I land, alright?”

“Stay safe, Rips.” Finn told her as she nodded at him before she turned to her Terror Twin, giving him a small fist bump.

“Remember what I told you, alright?”

She nodded at him while he patted her shoulder. “I will. Watch over things for now, will you?”

“You know I keep my word.”

She then finally turned to Dominik as he also faced her while he gave her her carry-on bag, all the while Damian and Finn decided to get inside the car and wait until Dom finished.

“So… we haven’t decided when our date is gonna be next week.” She commented.

At that, he gave her a small smile. “I was thinking more after Crown Jewel. I mean… I know you’re gonna retain that title and it would be good if we celebrate it together.”

“So Sunday 5th?”

“Yeah. Works better.” Dominik nodded while she also smiled at him before she noticed the time on her watch. “I better get going…”

“Text me when you land, okay?” He told her as he hugged her. She hugged him in return as she closed her eyes for a second, their hug lasting a bit more compared to Finn and Damian’s. They then broke away as she then gave a small peck on the lips before she carried her stuff.

“Don’t be causing trouble without me, okay?”

“No promises.”

She couldn’t help but chuckle at his response before she turned and began to leave. Dominik watched her leave for a bit before he sighed deeply, wishing he could’ve said something more to her until he was disrupted by Damian who was telling him to get inside the car. He did so as he got in the backseat before they drove off.

They didn’t know that from six cars behind them, Roman had been watching the entire time ever since the moment Rhea and Dom hugged as he was getting his things out.

It took a while for her to check-in as well as for her to pass her suitcase through, not to mention going through TSA, but after a few minutes, she was finally at the gate waiting for her flight. She busied herself on her phone while drinking some coffee, scrolling through social media before she decided to listen to some podcasts she had saved on her phone. It was only fifteen more minutes until she would board her plane, so she still had to wait a while.

However, her peace was suddenly shifted (or more like ruined) when she heard someone approach and sit right next to her. “I’m assuming this seat ain’t taken?”

At that, Rhea held the urge to roll her eyes as she lowered her phone, trying to keep her cool before she smiled sarcastically. “Well, it had my name on it, so yes, Reigns.”

“Huh, weird. Didn’t see it.” She heard him say nonchalantly as she turned to face him while he placed his own backspace beside him on the ground before he leaned back against his chair while also scrolling through his phone as well while he was eating only a half of a breakfast protein oatmeal bar. “You want half of this?”

“No, I don’t eat sugar.”

“Ripley, this barely has any sugar on it.”

“Still, I don't want it.”

“Mmkay, don’t whine when your stomach starts rumbling inside the plane.”

At his snarky remarks, Rhea looked at him as she deadpanned. “If you’re trying to piss me off, then you’re doing a poor job at it.”

“I don’t have a reason to piss you off. But I do have a reason to turn you—“

“Finish that sentence and expect me to twist your arm in front of everyone here. I dare you.”

“Why piss you off when I can get you turned on?”

“Reigns, I swear to god-”

“Okay, okay my bad…You still don’t want some of the protein bar?”

“NO!”

At her sudden yell, some of the passengers noticed and turned to their direction which both Roman and Rhea noticed. She sent a glare at the few people who stared as they instantly looked away while Roman chuckled.

“Sorry y’all,” He apologized. “She’s not a morning person.”

“Oh, so now you pretend to know me all of the sudden?” Rhea asked him as she scoffed while Roman turned to face her.

“I offer you some breakfast and this is how you treat me? Why the sudden change, huh?”

“Let me get something straight here with you,” She told him firmly as she looked him in the eye. “We’re only going to work. Just work. That’s it.”

“I don’t remember mentioning anything else other than work.” He mumbled as he returned and leaned back to scroll on his phone. Rhea rolled her eyes at him.

“I’ll make this simple for you, just in case.” She sneered. “Rule number one, no flirting. We only interact as coworkers, and that’s it. Secondly, don’t get in my business. And C, don’t make the face.”

“… Rhea, I’m sorry but about the business thing, I thought we already discussed this when you were clearly stressed that night and I had to be the one to come for your aid.”

“… breaking rules one, two, and three.”

“I didn’t make the face though—“

“Whatever, just shut up.”

Hours later…

It had felt like forever until finally, the two champions arrived at their destination. Quickly, Rhea wasted no time in letting Finn, Damian, and Dom know that she arrived at South Carolina safely as she texted them. Once she did, she was able to exit the plane and grab her suitcase. Once she made sure she had her things, she waited outside for the other champion until he was able to grab his own stuff as well. Due to him having all the information of their rental car, she needed to wait for him as they both went all the way to the fourth floor of the airport.

Upon their arrival at the rental car center, Roman told Rhea that he would be right back as she waited for him outside by the airport’s third floor parking lot when her phone suddenly rang. When she looked at it, she saw that Dom was the one calling and almost immediately, she answered.

“Hey Dom, Dom.”

“Hey! I just got your text, everything alright so far?”

“Yeah, actually, we’re just getting the rental car stuff ready and we should be on the way to the hotel shortly.” She said as she looked around while talking on the phone with him. “But other than that, how are you guys doing?”

“We’re alright. Damian went out to the gym and Finn decided to join him. I’m just here taking a walk around the beach… and I’m not gonna lie but, it kinda feels lonely without you here, mami.”

At that, Rhea smiled sadly. “Well… I already miss you, too, if that makes you feel any better.”

“Honestly, it does.”

Both of them chuckled at that as Rhea adjusted her carry-on bag that was clinging on her left arm as she spoke. “Well… it’s a bit chilly out here. I even had to take out a jacket from my suitcase the moment I stepped out from the plane.”

“I can see that right now actually- what is it, like 55 degrees?”

“Yeah- feels like it.”

As she and Dominik continued on chatting, Roman had already walked out from the rental car center as he was carrying his stuff, as well as two sets of car keys and a few documents. He looked around as he tried to find Rhea until he turned the corner and noticed her there near the parking area, talking to someone on the phone. Perking up, he went to approach her as he was going to hand one of the keys to her when he suddenly heard her speak out loud.

“Dom…? Yeah… I know, but you don’t have to worry. I already made things crystal clear with Reigns and it will not happen ever again… I’ll be fine, Dom. I’ll make sure to call you every day while I’m out here. For now, just… make sure Priest actually takes care of Judgement Day business this time and make sure you guys have Jimmy and Solo’s backs. Okay?… good. I love you too. Bye.”

Finally, she hung up, all the while Roman pretended to act like he didn’t just hear what he just heard as he went up to her while Rhea noticed him, turning to face him. “You got the keys?”

“Yeah.” He simply told her in a neutral tone, handing her one of the keys before they went to find any car available. As soon as they did, they placed their things at the trunk of the car before they got inside, with Rhea connecting her phone with some of her music while Roman was setting up the GPS on the car’s screen monitor.

Once everything was set, he drove all the way to the hotel, which was about twenty minutes from the airport. They eventually arrived at the hotel and Roman took out their luggage while Rhea went to the front desk to check in.

“Hi, we have a reservation,” Rhea spoke to the receptionist.

“What’s the last name?”

“It should be under Reigns.”

“Yup, found it. Here are the keys for your room,” the receptionist smiled, handing the keys to Rhea.

“Room? There should be two rooms.”

“Uh, let me double check…oh I see what happened. It looks like we accidentally overbooked and unfortunately we don’t have any rooms available. We’re terribly sorry,” the lady apologized, “We can try and find another hotel that can take you in?”

“You’ve got to be kidding me,” Rhea whispered under her breath.

“We’ll take the room,” Roman’s voice came from behind Rhea.

“Now wait a minute-”

“What’s the problem? It’s not like we haven’t shared a bed before.” Rhea groaned in annoyance, roughly taking her bags from Roman’s hands and walking towards the elevators.

“I apologize on her behalf, she’s not in a good mood.” The lady giggled, twirling her hair. Rhea watched the interaction from where she stood and rolled her eyes.

“Reigns!”

“Coming darling!” Roman winked at the receptionist before catching up with Rhea in the elevator.

Once they got to their room, Rhea barged in and went straight to where the bed was located. She took all the pillows she could find and placed them right in the middle of the bed, all while Roman watched in confusion.

“What are you doing?”

“This is my side of the bed and that is your side of the bed. If you dare try to get into my side of the bed I will dislocate your arm and murder you in your sleep, understood?” Roman just raised his hands up in surrender.

“Okay, okay, I didn’t even intend on doing shit.”

“Good.” She firmly said before she placed her things aside and opened up her suitcase. “There should be a laundry or something like that in this hotel, right?”

“Yeah- right on the fifth floor. Why?”

“Need to check if I can iron my dress before the event. Be right back.”

“Wait a minute— we leave in five hours—“

“And? I still have time. You go and get ready yourself. Go on.” With that, she took her dress out of her suitcase before she left the room as Roman watched. Blinking, he shook his head before he propped his own suitcase on the bed and got his own stuff out as well. When he took out his suit for the event, however, he noticed it was a little… rugged.

He then tsked as he looked at it before he began to consider. He should probably iron it first…

Hours had passed until it was 5 PM, two hours before the event. Both were already getting prepared, with Roman still being in the bathroom while Rhea got herself ready in the room. She even ordered some light food for them for now as they haven’t eaten anything all day. If anything, she wouldn’t prefer leaving on an empty stomach especially considering how the event might have alcoholic drinks to offer.

After a while, she managed to get in her dress after doing her makeup as well as retouching her hair as she went to look for her earrings, necklace, as well as her shoes. When she was about to, however, she suddenly heard the bathroom door slam open and a visibly annoyed Roman came out, taking the tie out from around his neck.

“Reigns, what the hell—“

“Look, it’s been years since I’ve done it, but I’m not gonna struggle making my own tie again. I’ll just go tie-less. Screw it.”

“…Reigns. It’s just a tie.”

“Okay then, you try and do it.”

“Oh for crying out loud- come here.” She rolled her eyes and stood up as she took the tie from the bed while Roman reluctantly approached her. “Now stay still.” She ordered him, fixing up the tie a little bit before she placed it around his shirt’s collar. She was able to do his tie with ease after a few seconds. “Let me know if it’s tight.”

“No, it’s okay. I—“ He wasn’t aware of the closeness that he and Rhea had when he suddenly looked down at her. Their gazes met for a few seconds as they only stood there, unmoving. He momentarily gazed at her before he instantly recovered in a low tone while Rhea looked away and cleared her throat as Roman stepped back while adjusting the tie a bit. “It’s fine. Thanks.”

Rhea watched him step back and grab his own shoes before she turned back to find her accessories. She was able to put her earrings on as well as her bracelets and watch. She went to place her own necklace on, but due to some struggle with her nails, she grunted a bit as she tried to put it on, when Roman noticed her struggling as he stood up.

“Here,” He said as he went behind her. At that, Rhea reluctantly allowed him to put her necklace on. She adjusted the necklace a bit and looked at herself in the mirror before she went to get her shoes.

“… thanks.” She only mumbled as she sat on the bed and placed her shoes on. Her low voice was still enough for Roman to hear as he looked up at her momentarily and actually began to take in her appearance.

She… she looked gorgeous.

He suddenly shook his head as he went and decided to wrap things up as he finished getting ready. After a while, both were now ready as they began to head downstairs while waiting for their food so they could eat quickly and then leave.

Redesign, Rebuild, Reclaim

PART 1

Seth Rollins and Kynlee Lockwood were on top of the world circa 2015, champions, the faces of the company. The world heavyweight champion and the divas champion were untouchable with The Authority in their corner, until Seth’s knee gave out. Kynlee made her leave from the company during this time, no longer feeling she got the respect she deserves but what happens when Seth returns to fight Hunter and the odds need to be evened?  

(some events in this will not be timeline accurate)

Being a part of The Authority was never easy so after Seth tore his right ACL, MCL and medical meniscus lets just say things were never the same. Kynlee valued the time she had previously spent by the World Heavyweight Champion’s side, dominating the men's and women's respective divisions so when he was no longer around the champ had lost motivation... she was being scheduled in matches against the likes of Eva Marie and Alicia Fox most of them not lasting longer then 5 minutes, this ultimately left her to take an indefinite leave of absence from the company.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW - February 15th 2016

(103 days since Seth’s injury)

Walking down to the ring to the beat of her entrance theme accompanied by an overwhelming light display with the Diva’s title clasped around her waist, a microphone in her hand and a void expression on her face Kynlee only had one thing on her mind... Change.

“Cut my music!”

Whispers and low mumbles of confusion emit from the crowd, normally if the Divas champ was in the ring The Authority would be hot on her heels so to say this was unusual is an understatement. 

“I know a lot of you will be confused as to why I'm here and normally I would be standing here boasting about my position with this title belt around my waist but tonight's different. You see for the last couple of months things haven't been right, I no longer feel valued in this company for the talent I hold and the revenue I bring to this business so it is in my best interest to cut my losses and leave before I can be buried like many other women in this roster and the wrestling world. We are not valued for the amount of work we put in to this job because most of us don't get more than five minutes of air time.”

“I was naïve enough to believe in joining The Authority I would be able to showcase my talent and help others on the roster during our matches together,  but it took my best friend’s knee caving in to realise even though I'm at the highest point I can be in my career things don't always improve they can get worse. Seth... just know that me leaving isn't me abandoning you, when you return you will continue to defy odds and win back the title you never lost and I will be there cheering you on every step of the way, you will continue your story but unfortunately for me... mine ends here.”

Dropping the mic to the floor and placing the pink and silver butterfly belt in the middle of the ring, Kynlee begins her ascend back up the ramp, never once turning back but her strong façade falters for the first time that night.

EXTREME RULES 2016 - Newark, New Jersey

Its been three months since the departure of Kynlee Lockwood and change has  definitely been made since then. The Authority had disbanded in April. The Diva’s title has since been retired and a triple-threat match had been held at WrestleMania 32 to crown Charlotte as the inaugural WWE Women’s Champion. Roman Reigns had defeated Triple H to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

One thing hadn't changed and that was the return of Seth Rollins.

Seth’s POV

“Hey, how are you?” 

The sweet southern twang travelled through my private trailer as Kynlee stepped through the door.

“I’m good, just got cleared for tonight still got some swelling but nothing on the joint so. Mentally I'm still preparing I mean there's only the cage match, the women’s and then main event” 

Kynlee’s hand reached out to hold mine and I felt at ease with the subtle touch, she brought me a kind of comfort that cannot be found anywhere else but with her, within her arms and under the soft gaze of her eyes. I didn't know the extent of this warm feeling that had protected me in the months of my rehab. Could it be love? True unconditional love?  I had no doubt that without her I wouldn't have the opportunity to return to my passion as quick as I did, she was my motivation.

Kynlee’s POV

 “Why don’t you come back with me, We could do it all again I mean no one’s done it as good as we did, as good as you.” 

Staring into his deep brown eyes I could tell he wanted it, he was pleading for it. I wanted it too. I really did but not yet.

Seth and I had grown closer during his rehab process, closer then friends but that was a secret always hidden behind doors (mainly gym and hospital ones), to admit I'm scared is an understatement, I'm scared about what if Seth’s not ready? what if I go back but Seth gets injured? what if Seth excels like I know he will but I'm forgotten because I left?

“Seth I'm not sure. I mean you left because you had to you had to take care of your physical health and preserve you mental health. I left because I got upset. I left for a selfish reason. I was an embarrassment to the company when I left they wouldn't want me back” 

Tears well up in my eyes as I feel a rough hand brush against my cheek the soft aroma of Seth’s cologne welcomes me into a sense of tranquillity. It was the subtle things that help ground me and Seth knew that, a look of reassurance, the linking of our hands or the warmth of him embrace.

Turning to the monitor on the wall it shows Charlotte and Natalya in the heat of their match both desperately scrambling to lock in submissions to pick up the win. 

“You see that title, the title those two talented women are putting a hell of a show on for? You made that change, it was your speech and dedication that got the word Diva banned and that stupid butterfly belt retired. You gave the women their power back, so why not go claim yours? Baby go show that roster who does it best who's got the longest historic reign for a women's belt.”

As the show closes the last scene is Seth Rollins with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in his grasp with his former shield brother Roman Reigns at his feet. 

After returning backstage and receiving a large amount of praise and complements Seth could only think of one thing and that was the women he had grown to love who sat waiting proudly in his trailer, he showed the world he could come back and concur and that's what he going to help her do.

She had Redesigned the women’s image in the WWE ,

helped Rebuild a broken Seth Rollins, 

and now she needs to Reclaim her title and division.

Some various headcanons I have for the Triple crown champions. This will likely have spoilers for all 3 days, so I will put this under a readmore.

-Kouign Amann Cookie probably has one of those Magazines of Madeleine Cookie. Mostly because every paladin apparently has one. Her friends probably also end up with 3 on visiting the Creme Knights within 40 seconds.  

-Whenever they play Monopoly, Kouign Amann always tries to have fair trades that benefit everyone equally, Prune juice cookie only offers trades that give him 5 monopolies, and Capsaicin Cookie always just constantly rolls exactly what he needs.  

-Prune Juice Cookie probably has had to deal with threatening cookies the most out of the three, and has the most reason to be distrustful. Theres at least some implications that he could be expelled for some of the potions he’s created, as well as the students that actually used it. 

-Kouign Amann is incredibly quick to take on any challenge, despite how obvious she cannot win. (Ex: trying to eat the most spicy food, while Capsaicin Cookie is one of the challengers).

-Capsaicin Cookie is a very skilled metalworker, who is able to create incredibly strong works of art. (I’m imagining he made his own shackles, both symbolically and Extremely Literally. However, can use this talent for metal sculptures and weapons/armor as well. )

-Of the three, Capsaicin Cookie is the best singer, and the one most able to handle delicate, intricate tasks. 

-Because of his ability at potionmaking, I imagine Prune Juice Cookie is probably good at baking as well. As both works require careful and precise measurements of ingredients.  However when it comes to day to day cooking, none of them can begin to handle any part of that task. 

Specifically: Kouign Amann’s would try to cut food with her massive sword.  Prune Juice Cookie would be indecisive once he gets a nonspecific instruction like ‘Add dried fruit’, and he begins yelling at  whoever wrote the book. Capsaicin always undercooks his food. (The obvious joke is he would overcook it, but he’s so scared of harming others and holding himself back! )

-Prune Juice Cookie absolutely has the fanciest furniture out of the three. I fully imagine him to haveing one of those Princess Canopy Beds, in purple.

First time at the paddock. Carlos cannot WAIT to show off his son/daughter. They're wearing a Ferrari onesie with a Bugatti hat (because obvi) and the hat of course has a crown on it cause mom is a triple crown champion...! [Mahyem ensures because Uncle Lando keeps trying to STEAL the baby from Carlos... more on that later...]

Baby's First Words. Ironically it was in English because Aunt Lily has DEDICATED her time to making sure her godchild would say its first word in English... annoying both Georgia and Carlos. Carlos was shocked when his little child pointed at a car and said "car!"

Baby's First Steps. Walking around the paddock of course with Carlos chasing after the baby ... wondering how their kid is so fast, but like, they're formula 1 drivers, he should know why.

Baby's First Karting Win. Yes, obviously dad cried. Uncle Charles is especially invested in his niece/nephews karting abilities and spends a lot of time teaching them the tactics... which pays off since their little 4-yr old is DOMINATING the league

Baby's first cold. Carlos is a MESS. Georgia keeps telling him its fine, its a cold... the doctor said its fine, but Carlos gets NO sleep that night, opting to sleep in their Childs room just in case they needed him.

Watching Carlos sit on the sofa, chatting to their little son or daughter, showing them all of the photos from her championship seasons. Carlos sits there telling their child what an amazing, accomplished driver their mother is and it warms her heart.

Watching Carlos do his daughters hair in pigtails. She insisted dad HAD to do it.... and he has obviously been practicing.

Watching Carlos teach their kids how to swim. He takes them on the family boat and they go to calm waters... so sweet!

Supercard of Honor preview

Eddie Kingston vs. Mark Briscoe - Eddie is defending the ROH men's world title; his STRONG men's title is not at stake. This is a battle between friends, and regardless of the outcome here, they are scheduled to join forces on April 21, in a trios match alongside Adam Copeland.

Mark is an ROH original, going back literally to day one, but most of his career was defined by teaming with his brother Jay. Even when Jay won his first ROH men's world title 11 years ago today, and carved out a role as a top singles guy, Mark was still mainly known for their tag matches. Jay's untimely death in January 2023 changed all that. Although the outpouring of sympathy helped make Mark a bigger star than ever, he's likened 2023 to his "rookie year" as a singles wrestler, so you can argue that he's in over his head here. He failed to win the men's television title a year ago, and plans for him to chase the world title last summer fell through due to a knee injury. It's hard to tell if this is finally his time to win the big one, or if it's just another step on a long road.

For Eddie, the story of this match is mainly about giving an opportunity to a respected peer, and promising to set friendship aside to fight as hard as he can. Deeper down, though, Kingston is still reeling from losing the AEW continental title on March 20, to Kazuchika Okada. Being a triple champion meant a lot to Eddie and his fans; losing a second piece of his crown so quickly could be a huge setback. Everybody wants to see Mark Briscoe "finish the story," to use a popular phrase, but Eddie can't let it happen, so something's got to give.

I've seen ROH pay-per-views where the Briscoes headlined, or where Jay closed the show. However, I can't remember Mark ever being in this spot on his own, so that's an intriguing x-factor. I'm sure he'll do great, but will it be great like those wild tag team brawls, or something completely different?

I could see this one going either way, but I've got a feeling it's time for Kingston to part ways with the ROH scene. I'm sure he's loyal to the brand, but he's also never there because he's always figured into big AEW storylines, and I expect him to keep moving up the ladder there. Mark, on the other hand, is just a guy in AEW but still a big deal in ROH, so he's perfect to be the franchise player for a while.

Athena vs. Hikaru Shida - Athena is defending the ROH women's world title, which she's held for 482 days. If she retains here, I'd say she's very likely to make it to the 500-day mark. By the end of 2023 she had cleaned out the Ring of Honor women's division, so I figured they'd send her up to AEW. Instead, they've been sending AEW regulars to ROH--first Nyla Rose, and now Shida. Athena has never beaten Shida, who won their only singles encounter back in 2014.

For months I've been expecting Athena to finally meet her match, put someone over, and go kick ass in AEW. It could happen this time with Shida, but it could have happened in December with Billie Starkz, or in July with Willow Nightingale, and it just didn't. Shida brings more of a "final boss" energy than Athena's previous challengers, but she doesn't have to be the final boss--they could always do, say, Athena vs. Thunder Rosa, or Athena vs. Kris Statlander. It just comes down to how many of these matchups Tony Khan wants to do in ROH, where most people aren't paying attention, or on the nationally televised product everyone actually watches.

I'm in favor of Athena dropping the belt and getting the epic run she deserves in AEW. I'm in favor of Shida getting a title run in ROH if she's not going to hold AEW gold anytime soon. But I'm wary of betting against Athena at this point. This is a match that'll keep me guessing right up to the finish, and that's the way I like it.

Billie Starkz vs. Queen Aminata - This the final of a 16-woman tournament to determine the first ROH women's television champion. Starkz defeated Robyn Renegade, Diamante, and Mercedes Martinez to get here. Aminata beat J-Rod, Taya Valkyrie, and Red Velvet on her way to the final.

I was in favor of Starkz winning the world title from Athena back in December, but it didn't happen, and they announced this new TV title on like the very next show. So there's a sense that they created this thing specifically as a silver medal for Starkz. She's been my pick to win the tournament from the beginning. However, I didn't expect Aminata to get a bit of a push, what with the sit-down interview about her life and officially signing with AEW in February. So yeah, maybe they're setting the stage for giving her the belt.

I think both of these women are in line for big things. But only one of them can win tonight. I guess I'll stick with my original pick and go with Starkz. But I like that they have me thinking Aminata could really win.

Kyle Fletcher vs. Lee Johnson - Fletcher is defending the ROH men's television title. I like both guys, but it's telling that the most interesting thing about this matchup is that Johnson is married to Julia Hart, whose tag team partner Skye Blue is dating Fletcher. Hopefully these two put on a match that gives people a reason to talk about them in their own right.

I'm not a fan of Fletcher being the #2 men's champ on ROH and the #4 guy in the Don Callis Family on AEW. If he's not going to drop out of the Callis faction anytime soon, I'd like to see him drop the belt. But I get the feeling Fletcher will retain.

Matt Taven & Mike Bennett vs. Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo - Taven and Bennett are defending the ROH tag team title. The two teams went to a ten-minute draw on April 4, which was enough for Dean and Bravo to get a rematch for the belts.

From what I've seen of them on ROH, the Infantry (Dean, Bravo, and Trish Adora) are money. I don't think that's come through from what little they get to do on AEW. I was hoping they'd make more of an impact in the AEW tag title tournament, but oh well. I'd settle for an ROH tag title run, and I don't think Taven and Bennett need the belts that much now that they're in the Undisputed Kingdom stable. I'm kinda thinking the champs will retain, but I'm 100% in the tank for Dean and Bravo.

Dalton Castle vs. Johnny TV - This is billed as a "fight without honor," which just means the match can't end by disqualification or count-out. I think this feud started in November, maybe? I barely keep up with the weekly ROH show anymore, but I'm always seeing an interview where Johnny is all "Ha ha, I'm a heel!" and Dalton is all "I can't sleep and I'm INSANE!" and Johnny and Taya freak out like they're scared and Lexy Nair is like "stop interrupting my interviews >:(" And it just keeps going and going and nothing ever changes.

It seems like it should be important that Dalton put custody of The Boys on the line just for a chance to wrestle Johnny, and then Johnny won, but then Johnny and Taya lost The Boys so Dalton is despondent. Except AEW legit released The Boys earlier this week--they couldn't even wait until after this match to make it seem like The Boys might play into the climax of the story. So that makes the whole thing seem even more pointless.

Adding to the trainwreck factor, I saw Johnny wrestle on yesterday's Bloodsport show and his right elbow was heavily bandaged up. I don't know what's wrong with his arm but I'm sure it's gotta be miserable gutting it through a busy weekend like this. Hopefully he can work around it here without too much trouble.

At this point I don't even care who wins as long as the feud ends. I guess Dalton has to win to end the feud. But I'll take whatever I can get.

Maika & Mina Shirakawa & Mei Seira vs. Tam Nakano & AZM & Saya Kamitani - All six of these women represent STARDOM, which has recently been growing closer with AEW/ROH since the promotion fired its founder, Rossy Ogawa. I keep meaning to get up to speed with Stardom and I just never get around to it. I remember seeing Nakano and AZM wrestle for New Japan and that's about it.

Maika, Stardom's world champion, and Shirakawa represent Empress Nexus Venus, which broke away from Nakano's Cosmic Angels group. I don't know if there's a reason Nakano is teaming with two women from Queen's Quest instead of her own faction. It also seems odd that Shirakawa and Maika hold the Stardom trios title along with Xena, but for this trios match they're instead teaming with Seira, who isn't affiliated with a faction. Maybe if I followed Stardom this would make sense, but as it is I think they just grabbed six women who were in town and could put on a good match, without any real storyline or context.

I don't think it makes any difference who wins, but since Maika's the world champ I'll go ahead and pick her side to prevail.

Mariah May vs. Momo Kohgo - This is scheduled for the pre-show. I guess these two had a rivalry in Stardom before May left to join AEW six months ago. I know May was on the Stardom show yesterday but I didn't see it, so I don't know if they did some kind of angle with Kohgo to set this up. I assume Mariah May wins, but I'm not sure they're protecting her for any particular storyline, so I'm not confident about that pick.

Josh Woods & Tony Nese vs. ??? & ??? - More pre-show stuff. Woods and Nese were a tag team for a while and now I suppose they're back together again for some reason. They're facing a mystery team and I sure hope it's a really cool surprise, because otherwise there's really no point in doing this. We're in Philly so maybe they bring in a couple of ECW guys? Are there any ECW guys left to bring in? Well, whoever it is, I'm picking the mystery team to win.

Griff Garrison & Cole Karter vs. Serpentico & Angelico - This is another pre-show match. I think these two teams were pissy with each other over losing an eight-man tag match or something. Last time I looked Griff was a babyface slowly going heel from the influence of Karter and manager Maria Kanellis. I'm genuinely surprised this is considered important enough to run on the PPV, even if it is just the pre-show. I don't care who wins.

Thoughts on AEW Dynamite/Rampage (spoilers)

It's awesome seeing Mercedes. She looks pretty happy to be there-- or at least back in a wrestling ring. She's always seemed like she was in that Moxley/Danielson/probably the other Horsewomen crowd of "I need you to understand that I love professional wrestling. I would marry pro wrestling if I could."

You could argue that only people in pro wrestling are the ones that love it, but there's been plenty of people who have gotten into the business without really loving it. But you can tell when people actually enjoy doing it.

Idk how I feel about her entrance music. Mostly because I can barely hear it-- I watch like 90% of AEW shows on an older tablet, so the audio quality is diminished. Plus, AEW is notorious for seemingly always having some kind of audio problem.

Willow vs Mercedes II is gonna fuck, when they book that.

Eddie's sleeveless duster thing looked cool as hell.

Okada manifesting in some portal behind the Codyvator (or he uses the Codyvator, I can't tell) is such a great entrance. Really helps make him feel like he's a big fucking deal.

I'm... fine... with Okada winning the Continental Championship or whatever they're calling it. It's just the one belt of the triple crown. I went into it expecting Okada to win-- I mean, it's Okada. I would have been fine with Eddie retaining, but I feel like it may be a bit too early for Okada to lose in a match where you'd basically have to lose clean.

Since Eddie is going against Mark Brisco for the ROH belt, I do wonder if they're gonna have Eddie just lose all three. And, if so, I wonder if it's for a storyline or something, or if Eddie just needs some time off.

I'm just, like, kind of tired of Chris Jericho. I get that he's important to the company as the first champion, and he's not unpopular. But the Hook match was just okay. I'll take it over the "Chris Jericho beats up Luchadors from CMLL" thing that's been happening.

Tony please stop having Ospreay show up right when I have to feed my cats and get ready for bed. He's so fucking fun and dorky when he's not wrestling.

I almost missed the tag match with Rosa/Deonna vs Toni/NotToni. But I can assume all four were fun, since they're all good in the ring.

Swerve is just so damn cool. The match with The Butcher was fun.

Samoa Joe is so smug, but cool, and scares me. He doesn't have 100% final boss energy, but he's so close.

It's been a little bit since Don Callis has been booed so loudly that it almost completely drowns him out.

Takeshita vs Swerve holy shit

Christian and Copeland was what I expected. It was fun. Absolutely hilarious that the ending to the match technically happened during Rampage. The ending itself was also hilarious. I'm still surprised it took this long for someone to use the strategy of just yam-bagging someone until they give up.

The Bullet Club Gold bit was funny as hell. I was really hoping Jay would be like, "I saved your life." -- while being excessively smarmy and smug like always.

Kinda feeling like The Acclaimed need to split up. Idk what it is really but I haven't been feeling Caster lately.

Best Friends vs The Don Callis Family was fun stuff. Kind of funny how Trent's back was bleeding for most of the match, but Knox didn't bother putting gloves on until Kyle's mouth was a crime scene.

Schiavone absolutely loathing that he has to exist anywhere near Callis is amazing. Reminds me of how much Mauro Ranallo hated Tommaso Ciampa back in NXT during Ciampa's no-music heel phase.

I am always here for a Shibata match.

Takeshita is so fucking good. And Rocky is also great.

Stat/Willow v The Spooky Ladies was fun.

The contrast between Statlander and Skye was amusing. Stat let her self be thrown onto thumbtacks, have them shoved in her mouth and then kicked, do a 450 and basically land knee-first onto some chairs. Skye did everything she could to not accidentally land into the thumbtacks.

Also, I'm assuming that Skye bladed after getting hit with the spike. From a theater/presentation standpoint, I feel like if she had bled more-- like if the cut was a little deeper or she took some aspirin or something-- it would have made the impact of the spike more dramatic. But I'm also not going to actually say that a wrestler *should* have bled more. They do enough and all that shit is at their own discretion. I'm not a booking agent or anything.

All in all, fun stuff.

Full Gear 2023

Bloody Hell, bruv!

Full Gear injected a new aspect to the main event storyline during the pre-show. MJF got a beatdown post match from Austin and Colten Gunn, who injured Max's knee with a chair. MJF was taken away by ambulance, but Adam Cole promised he would not let Jay White walk away with the title tonight.

I really didn't like this part of the story. Firstly, I find it ridiculous that Tony Khan would allow Cole to take his best friends place in the main event. Cole is not cleared to compete. This is total incompetence on Khan's part. Secondly, since when do you drop a title to your opponent if you can't defend it? This is nonsensical.

The first match we got was the six man tag. Sting, Darby Allin and Adam Copeland came out with face paint while wearing Copeland style jackets. Darby took a chokeslam from inside the ring, over the top rope and out on to the apron. It looked like Darby died, while we were told he has to climb mount Everest the next day. There was something awful, yet hilarious at the same time about this. Darby, Nick Wayne and Luchasaurus did most of the work. Sting actually played things nice and safe. Christian never had contact with Copeland and Flair no sold a low blow after a minute. After the match, Darby grabbed a microphone and told the crowd to cheer for Sting or he was going to be the shit outta everyone. This was a great opening bout.

Orange Cassidy beat Jon Moxley, but he had to give it everything he had. I think it took five or so Orange Punches to take Moxley down. I like what they did with Orange during this feud and it made his victory felt earned. Matches like these make the International Title prestigious.

Toni Storm was quite whimsical in her match against Hikaru Shida. Her mannerisms were entertaining to watch. Storm picked up the win which wasn't at all that surprising as she's super over. Even tough Storm is the heel, the crowd were still behind her. Shida’s reign wasn’t booked so great. She had matches, but there was nothing beyond that. This was a decent match, but I wasn’t a big fan of the sliver tray spot as you really had to suspend your belief that the ref did not see it.

Who was that child with LFI? Did they abduct him? Anyway, this ladder match was a little slow to get started, but once it picked up steam, it delivered some great spots, especially from Brodie King who was the MVP of the match. I was quite surprised when the match came to an end as I thought 10 or 15 minutes had past, but it went just over 20 minutes. Due to eight wrestlers being involved, not everyone can get time to shine unfortunately. I thought Ricky Starks got lost in the shuffle. While this won't go down as a classic ladder match, I still think it was good for a match that was only announced this past Friday.

So, Julia Hart misted Skye Blue, who in return misted Hart as an act of revenge, but, in this triple treat match, Blue wanted to shake hands with Hart so they could continue to team up on Kris Statlander. Julia denied her. This part of the match made zero sense to me. Why would Blue want to shake hands with Julia? Why would Julia not take the help? Besides that part, I really enjoyed this match. Blue’s presentation was great. I liked that she dumped the baseball cap for a crown. Statlander came off looking like a beast (the german suplexes were great). As I mentioned, I think creative failed Statlander. They didn't give us any development to her character as a champion, yet, Blue and Hart have both transformed. I’m glad Julia got the win. She's been killing it for a while now, and deserves the spotlight.

Will Ospreay is All Elite. Ospreay was like ‘’YO BRUV, SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LET ME FINISH MY TIME IN NEW JAPAN FIRST, BRUV.’’ Clam down, Will, we respect contracts around here.

The Texas Deathmatch is a match I won't forget anytime soon. This hardcore violent. It didn't take long before Adam Page had a staple gun and was using it on Swerve. It's was quite gruesome when Swerve’s blood was gushing down his face and Page decided to staple his kids drawing to Swerves cheek. When I thought things couldn't go any further, it did. At one point, Hangman started dripping Swerves blood into his mouth before spitting it into the air like HHH with water. These men used barbed wire in horrible ways. I was pretty sure Page's face was going to be ripped off when some wire got caught in his face and Swerve continued to pull at it. Brian Cage got involved near the end, and I couldn't help but think where is Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks? You can argue that Matt and Nick are heels, but Omega sat this out with Cage's involvement? Besides Cage, I think this is an instant classic. I loved how personal this feud was. And I loved the violent payoff to it.

I was pretty tired by the time it came to The Golden Jets vs. The Young Bucks. While I was watching, my brain had checked out. At some point I started to wake up and I got into this tag match. The Bucks working on Chris Jericho's arm, giving the low blow and having a tantrum post match were all highlights. I'm glad The Young Bucks lost because I think they need a fire to ignite further heel antics.

Cole, with crutches and all, gets into the ring to face Jay White. Before the match can begin, MJF returns to the arena driving an ambulance. Did he steal that ambulance? Max can barely stand when he arrives and White takes full advantage. Even when Max gets any offensive, it results in him collapsing to the mat in pain. I'm thinking there is no way MJF is winning without the help of Cole. There was a moment when Cole was going to hit White with ROH Tag Team title, but it so feeble, it looked like he past it to him. Later, Cole would pass the Dynamite Diamond Ring to his brochacho that would lead to his victory. The issue I had with the wonky knee angle is, it was worked on too much. Less would have been more. By the end of the match, I was shocked that MJF was not stretchered off after the win.

Full Gear was a pretty good PPV. I didn't think it delivered any bad matches. The negatives laid in the build up to the event and I didn't think the injured knee of MJF was warranted. We also got no appearance from The Devil which was disappointing.

Hardened by a career defined by betrayal, disappointment and underestimation, Becky Lynch decided to take her destiny into her own hands and force her way to the top of the mountain by throwing off anyone, friend or foe, who was blocking her path. Lynch gave the Women’s division a shot in the arm in 2018 when she won her second SmackDown Women’s Championship, leading an invasion of Raw that left Ronda Rousey demoralized and humiliated — this despite Becky suffering a concussion in the process. The Man made her mark again by winning the 2019 Royal Rumble Match to earn a World Championship opportunity at WrestleMania 35. That opportunity eventually became the first women’s main event in WrestleMania history where The Man defeated Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair to claim both titles in their Winner Take All Match. Becky would go on to become the longest-reigning Raw Women's Champion in history, fending off challenges from the likes of Sasha Banks, Lacey Evans, and pretty much anyone in a pair of boots who was brazen enough to stand in her way. Her reign finally came to an end on the May 11, 2020, edition of Raw when Lynch announced that she was pregnant and relinquished her cherished prize. At SummerSlam 2021, though, Becky returned in epic fashion, entering the ring after Sasha Banks was deemed unable to challenge SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair, knocking would-be replacement Carmella out of the ring and overcoming The EST of WWE in an impromptu matchup to become a five-time Women's Champion. A short time later, Lynch proved that her star was burning as bright as ever when she was drafted to Raw with the first pick in the 2021 WWE Draft. In 2023, Lynch would become a Triple Crown Champion after she won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship with Lita.

Monday Night Raw (5/29):

Trish Stratus cut a promo, claiming that she doesn't care what the fans think of her. She then introduced Zoey Stark, who thanked Trish. Becky Lynch came out and was attacked by both Trish and Zoey.

A couple of video packages aired on Raw. One featured recent NXT call-ups and former NXT Women's Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. The second featured Candice LeRae.

Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler defeated Bayley & Iyo Sky, Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville, and Raquel Rodriguez & Shotzi to become the new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. This win marks Ronda & Shayna's first tag team championship reign as a team. It's Shayna's third WWE women's tag team title reign (previously holding the championship twice with Nia Jax), tying the record most individual reigns. For Ronda, this is her first tag team title win in her wrestling career, and her fourth championship total. With this win, Ronda becomes the 8th woman in WWE to complete the triple crown, having previously held both the Raw and SmackDown Women's championships. match length-11:40.

NXT (5/30):

Gigi Dolin defeated Jacy Jayne in a weaponized steel cage match. Gigi pinned Jacy after putting her through a table. match length-12:34.

New NXT Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton came out to the ring to celebrate her victory. She announced that next week there would be a battle royal to determine the number one contender for the NXT Women's Championship. The celebration ended when Roxanne Perez, Lyra Valkyria, Thea Hail, and Fallon Henley attacked Tiffany and sent her fleeing out of the ring.

The mystery attacker was revealed to be Blair Davenport, who hit a Falcon Arrow on Dani Palmer before revealing herself to the crowd.

Cora Jade defeated Ivy Nile. Ava Raine attempted to attack Ivy, but got caught in a Dragon Sleeper. However, this distraction allowed Cora to hit a Rising Knee Strike into a Death Rider to win the match. match length-4:09.

AEW Dynamite (5/31):

TBS Champion Kris Statlander defeated Nyla Rose to retain the TBS Championship. After the match, Taya Valkyrie was shown watching the match backstage. match length-8:05.

Britt Baker & Adam Cole defeated Chris Jericho & Saraya. match length-13:13.

Friday Night SmackDown (6/2):

New Raw Women's Champion Asuka was a special guest on the Grayson Waller Effect. The segment was interrupted by Iyo Sky (who was once a member of the same stable as Asuka in Japan). They argued in the ring, before Bayley came out and said that a member of Damage CTRL would be winning Money in the Bank. Shotzi joined them in the ring, also stating that she would win the briefcase. Lacey Evans also joined them, followed by Zelina Vega. Asuka began to leave up the ramp, before being attacked by Bianca Belair, who began to brawl with Asuka.

Zelina Vega defeated Lacey Evans to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match. Zelina will be appearing in her second Money in the Bank ladder match, previously competing at the 2021 event. match length-2:49.

AEW Rampage (6/2):

NJPW Strong Women's Champion Willow Nightingale defeated Emi Sakura to retain the Strong Women's Championship. match length-8:00.

While this has yet to be confirmed, it has been rumored that WWE had originally planned for Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox to reunite, likely as a part of the Damage CTRL split currently playing out on TV. However, Dakota's injury has almost certainly changed those plans.

Alexa Bliss announced on Tuesday, May 30 that she and her husband Ryan Cabrera are expecting their first child together.

And in another piece of exciting news, WWE superstars Emma and Riddick Moss (fka Madcap Moss) announced their engagement.

PWInsider reported on Tuesday, May 30 that Trish Stratus will still be regularly appearing on Raw going forward.

A report from Fightful Select on Tuesday confirmed the rumor that Mercedes Mone was originally slated to win the NJPW Strong Women's Championship at NJPW Resurgence on Sunday, May 21. It was noted that Mercedes herself actually called for the end of the match as well as the change in finish, once she realized that something was physically wrong.

In the same report, Fightful Select stated that NJPW is under the impression that the injury Mercedes sustained was a severe sprain without a break. However, those close to Mercedes have expressed concern that there may be a break, and that there was too much swelling to know for sure. They're hoping to have a clearer idea of what the injury is once the swelling goes down.

Alexa Bliss said in a recent interview that WWE has extended her contract. However, it is unknown exactly when Alexa's contract will be up. She stated during an interview in November of 2020 that she still had another three to three and a half years left in her contract, which would have put her at least through the end of 2023. However, it is unknown when her deal will be up now that WWE has extended her contract.

On the June 1 episode of Impact Wrestling, Trinity (fka Naomi) defeated Savannah Evans. Following her victory, Trinity called out the reigning Impact Knockouts World Champion Deonna Purrazzo, and issued a challenge for the title. The match was made official for Impact Slammiversary on July 15, 2023.

New WWE Women's Tag Team champion Ronda Rousey spoke with the New York Post after she and Shayna Baszler won the vacant titles on the Monday, May 29 episode of Raw. Ronda said that she and Shayna want to be fighting champions, noting that the lack of competition is the biggest problem. She said that they need to get WWE to care and to invest in the women's tag team division.

In the same interview, Ronda also talked about how she and Shayna had been pushing for WWE to let them wrestle together for years, even before the Women's Tag Team Titles existed.

Newly crowned WWE Women's Tag Team champion Shayna Baszler spoke to Peter Rosenberg on the Cheap Heat podcast. Shayna talked about how she and her fellow tag team champion Ronda Rousey had both previously asked to work as a tag team, and after WWE had repeatedly delayed those requests, Ronda finally put her foot down. According to Shayna, Ronda told WWE that she wanted this tag team run with Shayna, because Shayna is the reason that she started wrestling.

In the same interview, Shayna also mentioned that it's cool that Ronda pushed to work with her as a friend, because it shows that Ronda isn't just out for herself, something that Shayna noted is rare in show business.

It's also worth mentioning that Fightful Select reported in late March 2023 that the original WrestleMania creative plans for Ronda Rousey changed significantly. The original plan for Rousey's second run as SmackDown Women's Champion would have seen her hold the title until WrestleMania, where she would have faced 2023 women's Royal Rumble winner Rhea Ripley. However, Ronda pushed for a tag team run with Shayna, choosing that path over defending a world title at WrestleMania.

Liv Morgan has officially confirmed that the injury she sustained during the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match on the May 12 episode of SmackDown is a torn shoulder. Wishing her all the best in her recovery.

When I had her commissioned I definitely wanted her design to showcase her being a science prodigy (hence the lab coat in lieu of a cape) as well as being athletic (the over all athletic long sleeve shirt and leggings combo). I'm glad to know so many people like her design (she's one of the ones who gets commented on the most) And this is not an odd question! I love questions like this as it helps me think more about the characters and how they present themselves to the world. So here's some of Calla Okoro's battle quotes Introduction: "Greetings [player]! My name is Calla, although the people of Galar have dubbed me the Poison Princess! Poison types get a bad reputation, much like chemistry class. As champion, I'm doing my best to show how amazing Poison types actually are and how cool chemistry really are! So help me make my dream come true [your name]! Let's have an epic battle!"

Got to add here that when she releases her Pokemon she does a rather impressive triple double like shown in this video (yes Simone Biles is one of the inspirations that went into Calla's character) After sending out her first Pokemon: "We experimented so much with moves, items and tactics. My team and I will DISSOLVE yours!" After the first of the player's Pokemon becomes poisoned/badly poisoned "Excellent! Just as I predicted. Your team will slowly succumb to our unparalleled skill!" If the player lands a super-effective hit: "Oh? I see you've been studying your type match-ups!" Before Sending out Last Pokemon: "Well this is certainly a confounding variable! No matter, my team has come out on top from behind!" Upon Gigantamaxing her Toxtricity: "Here's our secret formula! Toxtricity, Gigantamax!" Also here she does another somersault before throwing the Dynamaxed Pokeball. Upon Using G-max Stun-Shock: "Alright let's make this stadium explode with your G-max Stun-Shock"

Upon Being Defeated: "And just like that our reign comes to end like a dying chemical reaction" After Being Defeated: "That was amazing [player]! We are in the process of booking a coach to and from the venue. During a brief break in the action, an unannounced appearance occurs as double champion Tenille Dashwood makes her first ever appearance in the NWA. Clearly not dressed to compete, Dashwood makes her way to the ring anyway and quickly demands a microphone, having something she wants to get off her chest. “National Wrestling Alliance. Don’t worry, you’re not hallucinating, a champion has actually arrived at your show. A double champion to be exact. The FIRST ever Eternia Pro Moonstone Champion and the new TNA Digital Media Champion, Tenille Dashwood is here, and you’re all very welcome.” Dashwood holds both arms out to the side, obviously expecting to be praised but the crowd reaction is anything but happy to see her.

“But… believe it or not, I didn’t come here to talk to you people. I came here to talk to one person in particular. To… clear the air, I guess. As you are no doubt aware, just a few days ago I was on the receiving end of vicious and unprovoked assault that saw me get put through a table.” This time, Dashwood gets a reaction but not the one she wanted. Instead of sympathy, a cheer rings out as the NWA crowd obviously know what Billie Morgan did to the Australian. Never one to be silenced, Dashwood continues despite the look of annoyance on her face. “The assaulter in this unfortunate series of events is the current NWA Women’s World Champion, Blackjack Billie Morgan. What better place to talk to the NWA Women’s World Champion, than an NWA event, right? That makes sense to everybody, right? The fans in attendance were obviously well aware of this fact, but Dashwood plays it up like it is a huge shock to everybody. “I’m starting to wonder now if Triple Crown Billie, as great as she is, has maybe bitten off more than she can handle. Champion in three different promotions. Competing in countless more. Training for MMA fights. Not to mention she only recently got married too. Now, as I’m sure you are all well aware, Billie Morgan isn’t normally the kind of person to put someone through a table for no reason. It just might all be getting to be a little too much for her. After all, not everybody can handle such a demanding schedule. Myself on the other hand, I’m making up for lost time over the last couple of years. On Thursday night in TNA I had to deal with an egomaniac in Tessa Blanchard. Last night, I made my GCW debut when I defeated another Billie in my first TNA Digital Media title defense. Tomorrow night, I make my Shine debut. Four promotions in four nights. Five in a week when including World War Wrestling and our little altercation that brought me here tonight.”

Knowing Morgan isn’t in attendance, Dashwood is full of confidence and feels like nobody can stop her from saying whatever she feels like. As if to prove it, Dashwood pushes it a little more and shows that despite going through a table at the hands of Morgan, Dashwood isn’t going away. “It’s okay to be feeling overwhelmed, Billie. You’ve taken a lot on at such a young age. Most people would never be able to do what you have managed. Especially not anywhere near as quickly as you have. I understand that pressure might be getting to you now, and I completely sympathize with you. Luckily, I’m here to help. That’s why in a few short weeks at Saving Private Philip, I’ll take that NWA Women’s World Championship and help lighten your load. I know you won’t hold back and that’s exactly what I want. I had some thoughts about the second trial of the Triple crown Cup. and well, I wanted to put out my thoughts. These will be under a readmore do to spoilers. This will reference spoilers to the entire event, and not just the first/second trials. 

Now, i’ve seen a lot of people bring up the angst that Capsaicin Cookie had. And to be honest, it was the most dramatic and the most mysterious. We had no idea how/why he was restrained, but we quickly learned that this was incredibly traumatizing for him. 

But I do think people overlook the other Champion’s angst in their fear trials. 

Prune Juice is a little more subtle. This is apparently a conversation he replayed in his head many times before. he knew 100% what was happening as soon as it happened, but he had no idea what the actual solution this puzzle is. This wasn’t an unexpected fear/trial, but in fact one he constantly repeated. 

We’re left with the implication that he took up potion making only because it was a means to an end. A means he found he enjoyed greatly, but still having a certain longing to be able to use magic himself. I was left with the implication is that Prune Juice Cookie was hoping to develop a potion that would unlock/allow him to use magic. He hasn’t given up, but he hasn’t overcome.  

I presume that the trial, and all the trials, where intended to follow a similar victory path to Kouign-Amann’s trial. Where the expected victory was to acknowledge the problems, but show that they've learned from their fears/mistakes of the past.

So I feel Prune Juice just had to come to terms with the reality of the situation, but also to still show they were unwilling to give up what makes them happy. If they can’t cast spells then their potions still let them create. Yet at no point did Prune Juice ever bring this up. Even when the trial itself was desperately trying to hint at it, that he needed to be doing something, he didn’t . And the trial really did do that, there are a few points where the shadow brought up 'Maybe there's something else you'd like to do?'

Prune Juice Cookie was just trying to rush though the nightmare and get it to stop/move on without thinking about it. He likes creating potions, but he hasn't really seen how this connects to him as a person yet. (that he's still more then just the potions he creates, and that his potions are an extension of his intelligence/talent.)

Kouign Amann’s nightmare was the successful trial, so hers was a little more simple. One of the standard ‘a paladin can never give up’, and that there was no shame in defeat as long as one learned from their failures/mistakes. However I still think theres at least a couple of hints of angst there. 

With her opponent being her ‘shadow self, some of their statements can be seen as sort of messed up reflections of her feelings. For example her shadow self brought up how if was a life or death battle, she would have long died. It’s very easy to twist that as Kouign-Amann having a belief belief that Death is the appropriate award for failure. (That if she is to fail, she ether symbolically dies by loosing her reputation, or will literally be killed at the end of that conflict because she’s a knight, and thats just what is expected.) Its the sort of corruption/twisted thought that I feel could have gotten much worse if left unexplored.
