Hi 21 here, looking for a long term rp partner for a dark angsty rp. I’m primarily looking for a plot that explores abusive relationships, complicated characters, characters with mental illnesses and the list goes on. I’m really interested in something dark and have very few limits/triggers.

Characters: I try to write versatile characters, (I hate cliches - like bottoms have to be small etc) and try to be as versatile as possible when it comes to characters. I do have a slight preference for writing doms though. (By slight I mean I love writing them.) So if you like writing subs we’ll be a perfect match. Disclaimer, like I said I like to write versatile characters so the doms I write won’t be your typical wattpad alpha daddy lol. I think it’s fun to mix things up, like have the sub be an older guy for example.

Other: I can’t believe I have to write this but trans male oc’s are of course welcome, men are men. So if you have a trans oc you’ve been wanting to write I’m all in. Just wanted to make this clear as I’ve witnessed quite a lot of transphobia in the mxm community.

What to expect: I’m fairly active, my replies vary in length depending on where we are in the story and how much I have to work with, but generally speaking, I love to write detailed replies. I’m a big fan of chatting ooc, sending memes and pics that remind me of our characters, gushing about our characters haha, making playlists and generally getting to know the person I’m rping with. For me it just makes it a lot more fun if we can also get along, chat and joke outside the rp. Doesn’t have to be personal but I like to vibe with the person that I’m writing with.

Hey, everyone! I haven't been around this part of the internet for quite a long time, and I'm not sure who is still around that would remember me, but I am back! Sort of!

I've been debating coming back to Tumblr because I've been really needing some rp, but I'm not sure I have the energy for this platform if it's as busy as it used to be, so I'm hoping I could entice at least couple/few of you to come rp with me on Discord?

I still have muse for Bucky/Jamie(modern Buck) and Steve is... in my head somewhere, and maybe they will come out to play again (esp if I really click with a writing partner), but I have been playing Divinity: Original Sin II, and Ifan ben-Mezd has been LOUD in my head, so I'm really wanting to write him. The short description is that he's a 40-something ex-military (in the Medieval-ish [???] universe of the game) mercenary with a boatload of shame and guilt (bc duh, dark and sexy broody hero), a crossbow you don't want to be on the wrong end of, a sexy smile, and oh yeah, he's also a sorcerer in a world where magic is vilified, and a reluctant/resentful "chosen one" of one of one of the gods of his world. :D

If anyone is interested, I could maybe write up a short bio/info about him? I don't have verses for him (yet?), and I'll just be honest rn and say I'd really love shipping and smut, as long as it makes sense and there's chemistry (I'm ok with slow-ish burns and he's queer). I’ll put this under a read more bc it got way longer than I meant for it to, but I also want to be very clear: don’t read this if you’ll get upset. DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU’LL GET UPSET. I need to vent about this but I don’t want anybody to stress themselves out over it. this isn’t about anyone specifically, it’s about… honestly, almost everyone I’ve interacted with on here.

there is an outstanding a mount of purity culture here, even more than mainstream tumblr, which is wild.

people should’ve have to share personal info in order to write on here. you shouldn’t have to share your age, your name, your pronouns, your time spent rping, in order to be considered ‘legitimate.’ if someone has never rped before and they want to get into, they should be just as welcome as someone who’s been here for years. discriminating against teenagers because you feel guilty talking to teens is weird. it’s one thing to not want to write smut with somebody under eighteen, it’s another thing to block anybody under 21 that tries to interact with you in any way. that’s weird! why are you doing that! they’re just interested in your writing!

I mean, how did you guys start rping? all of the people that say they’ve been doing it for years? did you pop up suddenly with all the experience, or did you follow blogs you liked? did you make cringey threads and bad writing choices? did you daydream about your characters when you were in class? I’d be willing to bet you did. and acting like they can’t handle the violence or the deep subjects in the content you write is insulting.

again, putting your smut threads under a read more or asking them not to follow if you mostly write smut is one thing, but I have ABSOLUTELY seen rules pages talking about not feeling comfortable writing with anyone under 21 about suicide, violence, drug abuse, etc. do you think the movies they watch don’t have all that in it? (do you think they suddenly pop up at 21 with all the knowledge of the world?)

and don’t get me started on the ‘they’re just so much younger than me it feels uncomfortable’ thing, which is MUCH more valid and I understand it, but teens aren’t going to learn anything if they don’t have older friends to teach them.

most of all, over anything else, what really prevents me from returning is the blocking culture here. it’s horrible. blocking somebody you don’t like or feel weird about is totally understandable! what’s Not understandable is doing that to a FRIEND. if you’ve been talking to somebody ooc, talking to them daily about unrelated things, if you’ve been hanging out for weeks, why the fuck would you block them without saying anything? just hit the button and leave? why is it acceptable to just… not do any communication whatsoever? if they made you angry, hurt your feelings, broke a rule, whatever, fucking TALK to them. don’t block somebody because they annoyed you one time, what the fuck.

and it all makes me so sad because like… this is where I’ve made so many of my friends. I have friends I’ve had for a decade that I met through rp. I wouldn’t have those friends if these rules had been in place. the reason these things upset me so much is because they didn’t used to be here! people used to rp with non-mutuals, even! nobody ever formatted anything, aesthetics didn’t matter, it was just about having fun. and now it’s more about making sure you’re performing all the right little rituals so you don’t get pushed to the side.

i have a dual-monitor setup where on the left is a vertical non-4k monitor (i really thought i was gonna use it more for coding but now it's just where discord / game wikis / spotify live lol) and on the right is my main monitor which is curved 4k, so i had a hell of a time finding something that works for both — but this shot of leyndell actually works beautifully because the erdtree sanctuary area fits perfectly on the left, and the rest of the city sits nicely on the right. the resolution discrepancy isn't too jarring either, which can be tricky when you're trying to make a single image flow relatively seamlessly between non-4k and 4k. i mean it's definitely not perfect, but i think it looks really really good

Under the cut is a short psa about my relationship with religion and my stance towards queerphobia within Christianity

♤ I have much love to give and I do not believe that my version of God wouldn't be loving enough to accept his queer kids and especially because the bible is a document translated many many many times by humans with their own biases and we don't know the absolute truth and I would rather go down the path of love and acceptance towards everyone and there is no such thing as sinful existence and everyone is deserving of saving and love and respect and that is all I have. This is a safe space for every person who is not an arsehole. P.S. the bible verses everyone loves to use to justify their hatred are originally confusing at best and not easily deciphered and understood especially because some of the words used were solely used in the bible and no one knew what they actually meant so no you cannot use the bible to justify your homophobia and transphobia.

And yes I also believe that premarital sex is okay because again times changed since the bible was written and medical advances erased the need for such laws because of the existence of birth control, condoms, medical advances that make STDs manageable and not a death sentence like back when the bible was written. Moreover, purity culture is bullshit and the lack of knowledge about sexuality within Christian circles is a tragedy because people then start marrying really young to have sex and then realise oh I know nothing about my body or oh no me and that person aren't compatible at all, which then is a realisation that comes a bit too late.

Last but not least no one has to be religious. I am not ever gonna force anyone to believe in what I believe in. Especially because I am kind of agnostic myself as I still firmly believe that there are other possibilities even though I still believe in my God. Logic says that other possibilities cannot be ruled out.

♤ PS: I probably do suffer from religious trauma and I am questioning my christian faith rn so as a precaution I do not want anyone coming to my askbox and convincing me that Christianity is good or anything as I am working through that on my own and trying my best to see if religion is a good fit for me or harmful.

he is always trying to save lives, not take them, so the sudden shift in mentality is going to make jack question himself, think he has some kind of rare sickness, and hide out.  he’ll probably be able to push past it and protect others if need be.

having a desire to kill your old friend who you’ve been so happy is alive again in dc ... is a weird feeling.  so craig is just gonna be totally freaked out idk.  don’t expect him to be any help but he’s probably not going to hurt, either.

UPDATE / PSA. ( hi! )

Okay, so I've had a long break because well, a lot of personal things have been going in in real life affecting my family, myself, and my mental health. I've taken a long break and been a little overwhelmed on my dash but I'm back now and I'm going to ease in slow. Sorry for the radio silence, but hope you all are hanging in!

Also important info, since we all don't really have much choice now, I have switched to Beta Editor and it's on my pinned post.

All replies that were done in legacy will be moved to separate post UNLESS you ask me to drop them or I feel I can't continue them btw please let me know if you want to drop or keep an ask or thread okay? and / or need to clean out some of my stuff by dropping them. Asks I'm still going to get to no matter how late, I find asks and small starters are easier to get to and I haven't forgotten my starters I owe if you all are still interested! It's just been...a hell of a year and I know that a lot of you probably may feel like I do on that. I'm really sorry if you've been struggling or have had issues crop up this year, and I genuinely hope it gets better for you.

I've been kind of scarce on discord save like...two - three people but I'm definitely open to chatting I just am really bad at reaching out right now but please, feel free to poke me I'm not unavailable I promise. I'm just kinda slow, as well, haha, you can see. Lately feels like I've been hit by a truck since we had a major family loss mid-year, and after that things continued to snowball right up until this month as well. I'm hoping for a great new year for all of us and what's important here on my dash is -- Edward is going absolutely nowhere even if I'm easing my way in and keeping mind of my mental health, Edward is always, and always will be my constant. I have no braincells because of him even in hard times!

To all my mains, mutuals, people I see but haven't talked to, writing partners, I really hope you're alright and things get better for you if they're tough. I really needed a break as my mental health was like a thin cord with all that's been and is going on. I think it's going to get better, but I'm now back and easing slowly into my blog once more.
