I used to always try to come up with some answer to this to please people but i didnt have one past 3rd grade bc i absolutely detested school, the educational systems and academia so fuck no, no favorite subjects. Fuck schools.

(The one good school i went to grade pre till 3rd i enjoyed also had really good pedagogists. In 3rd grade i think i loved math the most bc my teacher designed individual plans for us and my classmate and i raced to finish higher level work, in 2nd i think it was the class where we read and wrote and were creative like think tank and reading dino topia and writing our own magical treehouse, in 1st grade it was science and experementing and the frogs and butterfly class.

On my own time i watched so many animal rescue shows and nation geography and we had so many of their magazines and natyre magazines my mother got that were sorted out from the library. And i read a lot of history books about ancient and pre-historic times and different cultures and that was great. I was also obsessed with animals and read cyclodpedias and had them quickly memorized. But by the time i was 9 i was too depressed and i dont know shit anymore my brain too forgetful

and that's why i'm so mad about the school systems bc i truly loved, loved learning. But even the good school would give me failing grades for my social behavior. And without ranting even further, lets just say math used to be like breathing for me and now i can barely put 48+32 together without a calculater anymore bc my brain is so dead

So much more complicated issues yeah but school still makes me so fucking mad)

15. DREAM JOB?

somehow i got lucky and i kinda ended up in the field of my dream job: vet tech/nurse

i wish i could save any animal i come across though. Regardless of money, laws, etc. I wish i could save nature. Fix what humanity has done to the earth and to so many animals. Relieve suffering. Give love to every stray. Make sure every living being has a home. Get rid of ownership over land and living beings of any and all kind

voyager the boiager*

sorry if this seems like a super messy and scatterbrained post. i originally explained this to my friends in discord and cleaned and edited it a here to be more readable, but it might still be a lot.

Voyager’s normal Np, ascent 2 i believe

* voyager is affectionately called boiager by english speaking fans. or boyager. A pun on his Japanese name ボイジャー (Boijyaa-)

There’s a lot to love about voyager, and I dont know a lot about fate/requiem where he’s originally from, so a boyager expert could fill in the blanks I don’t have if they want! Voyager is adorable. I want to spoil him like a child, he is a child. He feels like a son.

Let’s start with how you meet him. His summoning line.

Do you notice his slow pattern of speech in the first screenshot? Voyager is a foreigner class servant, and litearlly the space probe voyager 1. Unlike many servants, voyager is a very special one for a myraid of reasons, but a major one is that he is still alive. His human, child, body you see here is a temrinal. In lore, he’s still the giant space probe in the sky. He’s still on his ‘journey’ He’s a traveller of the stars. I think there’s another servant who has a comparable existance in that regard, but i forgo who. At the very least he’s comparable ,if not similiar, to Merlin who also is alive.

Let’s talk about voyager’s class designation. He is a foreigner in fgo, and in his original novel, i believe ‘voyager’ is also his class, but I am not certain about that. Fgo fans all know what the foreigner class is and means, but voyager is very different than the others.

for the uninitiated, the foreigner class is based on and gets its namesake from hp lovecraft mythology. It isn’t supposed to be racist like lovecraft is, it was picked and chosen just because rule of cool. Usually, foreigner class servants, like in lovecraft are corrupted or possesd by an outer god. This is the baseline not the rule. Fate and fgo is ruled by ‘rule of cool’. Everythign has an execpetion and if the writers can think up of a cool and fun reason for it there will be exceptions.

For example,hokusai oi , is not ‘corrupted by an outer god’, I think what happened is her father the more famous hokusai saw an outergod and it corrupted him but also inspired his painting. (Dont take my word on hokusai lore i’m no expert) His daughter also has a connection to that outer god as a servant and that’s why shes a foreigner.

voyager is a foreigner class for the most literal sense of the term. He’s far away from home, traveling in space. That’s it. A space traveller. So a foreigner a la hp lovecraft, but not an outer god. He’s a good boy.

Voyager is also the first male foreigner in the game.

Let’s take a look at his in game art. As you can clearly see, the planet behind him here is earth. Our pale, blue dot!

Looks familiar? The yellow and metal triangles?

Voyager’s 2nd in game art is based on the little prince french children’s book. His physical apperance, ex: blonde hair and blue eyes, is also based on this. I don’t know the reasoning super well but It’s because his master in fate/requiem wanted him to look like the little prince. The planet behind him here is Mars

It should be clear what motifs are used here, a nasa astronaut. The planet behind him here, is Jupiter. You can see the golden record on his space suit! that’s what the gold circle is. The golden record is an important piece of human history and space exploration.

if you skipped the fate/requiem event in fgo you might not know what this is. The markings are it are designed to be instructions for extra terristal life that may enconter it and how to use it! The nasa website describes it as “ In the upper left-hand corner is an easily recognized drawing of the phonograph record and the stylus carried with it. The stylus is in the correct position to play the record from the beginning. Written around it in binary arithmetic is the correct time of one rotation of the record, 3.6 seconds, expressed in time units of 0,70 billionths of a second, the time period associated with a fundamental transition of the hydrogen atom. The drawing indicates that the record should be played from the outside in. Now, what exactly is the golden record and what’s on it?

The nasa website writes, “ The contents of the record were selected for NASA by a committee chaired by Carl Sagan of Cornell University, et. al. Dr. Sagan and his associates assembled 115 images and a variety of natural sounds, such as those made by surf, wind and thunder, birds, whales, and other animals. To this they added musical selections from different cultures and eras, and spoken greetings from Earth-people in fifty-five languages, and printed messages from President Carter and U.N. Secretary General Waldheim.

Each record is encased in a protective aluminum jacket, together with a cartridge and a needle. Instructions, in symbolic language, explain the origin of the spacecraft and indicate how the record is to be played. The 115 images are encoded in analog form.

The remainder of the record is in audio, designed to be played at 16-2/3 revolutions per minute. It contains the spoken greetings, beginning with Akkadian, which was spoken in Sumer about six thousand years ago, and ending with Wu, a modern Chinese dialect. Following the section on the sounds of Earth, there is an eclectic 90-minute selection of music, including both Eastern and Western classics and a variety of ethnic music. The definitive work about the Voyager record is "Murmurs of Earth" by Executive Director, Carl Sagan, Technical Director, Frank Drake, Creative Director, Ann Druyan, Producer, Timothy Ferris, Designer, Jon Lomberg, and Greetings Organizer, Linda Salzman. Basically, this book is the story behind the creation of the record, and includes a full list of everything on the record. "Murmurs of Earth", originally published in 1978, was reissued in 1992 by Warner News Media with a CD-ROM that replicates the Voyager record. Unfortunately, this book is now out of print, but it is worth the effort to try and find a used copy or browse through a library copy.”

He’s landed at some planet here. I like to imagine that voyager has crash landed here, it’s the end of his journey. And maybe. Just maybe this is his destination he was waiting for, and intelligent extra terestial life will be here and find him. If not, when he goes to sleep for good, there’s always the possibility after he dies intelligent life will make a voyage just like him and find what we left behind with him.

Pale blue dot is named after a famous photo voyager took of earth from space! Wikipedia says “Pale Blue Dot is a photograph of planet Earth taken on February 14, 1990, by the Voyager 1 space probe from a record distance of about 6 billion kilometers (3.7 billion miles, 40.5 AU), as part of that day's Family Portrait series of images of the Solar System.”

What does voyager represent, both in reality and in fgo? In the fgo requiem event. Furry Presi-king thomas edison explains nicely.

Voyager is humanity’s pride, joy, and hopes. Our hopes that we aren’t alone in the world, that somewhere in the endless space and galaxies. We aren’t the only intelligent life.

Voyager’s skill set has interesting lore

Voyager of the Stars rank A- I think his bond profile explains this one cut and dry so I’ll simply copy paste “Voyager of the Stars is a limited version of Pioneer of the Stars. A Skill that makes the impossible possible, allowing for planet-to-planet voyaging.” It’s a skill only voyager has right now.

Swing-By rank A “ A Skill showcasing special maneuvering abilities in combat. Able to take away an enemy's kinetic energy or even apply kinetic energy to them, this skill allows him to surpass his limits of acceleration and deceleration. He is able to fly freely using this Skil “ Fun fact about Swing-by, swing-by is the term of “gravity-assisted acceleration in orbital mechanics and aerospace engineering”

Protection of the Ends of the World (Cosmos) (Rank B) “Originally a skill connected to the Holy Spear. Resulting from Voyager’s very self holding the qualities of the anchor of the planet which embodies the World’s End” honestly I’ll be honest I forgot why he has this skill.

Class skills

Entity of the Outer Realm C- He techinically lives in the ‘outer realm’ of space despite not being an old god/ eldrich horror

Independent Voyage- Voyager’s true body is on an voyage all alone. He’s a lone traveler, independent even.

Contact with Civilization- Not sure exactly what aspect of this applies to him. Maybe because he still has a weak connection to earth? Or because his journey is to have contact with a new civilization?

He is the second Foreigner not associated with a Lovecraftian horror, after Mysterious Heroine XX.

One of Voyager's lines during his Arts attack animation while in third ascension, "Beam me Up", is a reference to a well-known catchphrase from the popular Sci-Fi series Star Trek.

One of Voyager's lines during one of his Quick attack animation while in third ascension, is humming part of "I was strolling on the moon one day", a song sung by Apollo 17 astronauts Gene Cernan and Jack Schmitt while walking on the moon during the last Apollo lunar landing mission.

had a power thought at work today and so i wrote it down in the silly little work memo pad. im just gonna write it all down here. bc i can.

' golden trio? cursed trio. obvi we have harry first, like OBVIOUSLY he's got his curse scar forehead shtick, but also he's like. fought death since age 11 (AT LEAST). mans is not gonna b completely unscathed save for the silly little death curse scar :3 he's prob got a burned palm from the philosopher's stone/quirrdle. quickle. what the fuck's name. him. 2nd year we've got the basilisk fang stab. big scar, pheonix tears or no. 3rd year he got no big wounds from what i can remember? whole lot of emotional trauma but what's new. 4th year burns from dragon in 1st task, maybe some residual gill/webbing scars from gillyweed in 2nd task, then the piece de fucking resistance from the third task. by that i mean forehead scar is prob. worse. somehow. maybe it spiders out like cracks in the skin further than it already has. and by lightning scar i also mean like actual lightning. not that shitty little ⚡️ something messy and even bigger after the graveyard ("i can touch you now" scene) + scar on forearm from blood sacrifice. 5th year "i must not tell lies". obvi. then a lot of shit happens to harry in 6th/"7th" year that i Do Not Remember woops. whatever happens there = still there.

RON! bestie. bby. im so sorry the movies utterly DESTROYED ur character. he doesn't suffer as much physical damage (still emotional! but) + a lot he does receive isn't caused by magical curse objects physically hurting him. i've got rules for these headcanons you just don't get to know what they are. (directly caused by magical object/curse/cursed object = scar) (indirectly caused by magic or nonmagical encounter = no scar) (<- situational healing magic properties). anyways ron. lots of his injuries are indirectly caused by magic (i.e hit down by chess pieces) this trend gets obliterated past 4th year. ministry of magic showdown. the works. those weird brain jellyfish things that stuck on him all mind zappy + literal zappy. THE FUCKING LOCKET. aw harry, ron, n hermione have matching scars <3 from the locket horcrux. they all wore it right. im sorry rons section isn't as detailed i just know he went through HELL in the last books but I! DO NOT! REMEMBER THOSE! bad jojo. woe is me. FIENDFYRE BURNS. WHAT THE FU-

hermione is a similar case to ron, but actually very little physically happens to her, magical or no. i scoff at this blatant sexism. i'd like to think maybe the polyjuice potion cat hair fiasco of 2nd year may have had some lasting effects (purrhaps some facial scarring from whiskers, marks at her tailbone from the tail) (haha) (see what i did there) (anyways) then we have the removal of an imperfection when they fixed her teeth. more sexism with that btw. but like ron, lots of damage past the 4th book. notably the written "mudblood" scar from bellatrix. i cannot remember what else happens to hermione other than that. guess i'll die '

vent dont read (unless the curiousity consumes you i guess. if you know me personally it might suck)

i havent been able to leave the house since may and it seems like every day i get worse and worse

i just cant deal with anything i dont know why

i dont go outside, i cant be alone, i cant even eat too fast/slow or i just like completely freak out

i started therapy and this is the first time ive ever been hopeful about interacting with a therapist but i still kind of dread it every week. im not even sure its helping like maybe shorter sessions would be better but i use so much energy just getting through the day i cant communicate until its too late

i dont even understand what made this happen my only guess is that one of the medications i tried really messed me up (or i have a brain tumor or thyroid problem or something) because a few of them had really really terrible side effects and i almost had to go back to the hospital for the 3rd time in a year, but i dont get why im not getting better when i dont do anything and im not on those meds anymore.

and if it is physical i cant leave the house without panicking like. i dont know how else i would go anywhere to get it checked out unless it got so bad i had to call an ambulance again so they could lie me down and give me oxygen and turn all the lights off and hold my hand again but that also was like very traumatic so im afraid i would just completely break

my friend is over visiting and i havent seen her in forever bc she moved 4 hours away and i cant even bring myself to hang out with her because she brought her boyfriend and i already have problems talking to anyone but her even though i fucking live with her family and leech off them. so im just hiding in my room

i dont really talk to anyone much anymore and i dont even know if its Because i want to be left alone or if its something making me lonely/im upset about. it also kind of seems like people r moving on from me but that could be like entirely self inflicted bc one on one conversation terrified me even before and now i like have panic attacks if a breathe wrong let alone attempt something thats always scared me

i think like some of them maybe also have a seperate discord server i wasnt invited to. this happened literally months ago where i accidentally found out and its not really my business i guess. and i dont even rly know if its true or even used anymore

it just feels bad because i lost a friend of like 7 years and a friend i really related to but didnt know long because i took their side in multiple arguments and i dont regret the 2nd one but the first one kind of still sucks. the people i lost had a lot of their own problems that made them unpleasant but idk. the first person was kind of always open to talking to me even though we r both fucked up and wouldnt ignore me even when i sometimes would bc of my own problems

and then if there Is a second server thats kind of why the second person lost their shit. so its like Maybe they were right in a small way (they were completely fucked though they would like suicidebait randomly and ive never had any other friend do that so its still for the best i think)

it seems like i keep losing or pushing away good friends kind of. or maybe im bad at all friends idk. ive never enjoyed socializing so it seems like my fault probably

i honestly just wish i could get on food stamps and/or disability on top of medicaid but i think people are still insisting i can go back to the way i was before. idk if thats possible. i just want to be able to stop taking As much Directly from other people and maybe like. buy legos or a 3d printer or something. i dont have much to do in the house 24/7 and my computer is getting old. and i think the internet is making this all worse but thats like my only activity

im so tired

wow! was that an update ?!?! you bet!!

but actually i cant believe it. i actually finished the book. hell yeah im so sorry it took thirty six million years to do but i actually finished the first book like i said i would !!!

tbh im a little unsure of where to continue from here lol.. there is a bonus scene at the end of the book that i think ill do, but for one obviously every chapter is a Project so i think ill just be sticking to like the primary light novel content... despite the fact that a whole nother book is.. a Lot... we’ll see!

tentative plans (with zero scheduling) is i’d like to do the 2nd and 3rd light novels if possible as well.. but with how long it took me to get thru this first novel i think itll be a While bc i only have the beginning of like. the prologue done. and like nothing else lol

(that said i also havent even finished the 3rd novel and if i get back into reading it we might get hit with a big motivation spike so! here’s hoping maybe ?! dont hold your breath)

anyways! im alive! i cant believe i finished the novel.. hope it wasnt too painful of a wait and thank you very much for everyone who sent me nice messages during the breaks and who stuck around despite the fact it seemed like i would never finish lol

GHAAHAHA THE DADDY CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD [ my bro never likes being called that last i remember ] AND YOU ARE VERY RIGHT!!! Its mainly because lack of motivation and also cos whatever i wanna post is just oc stuff x,D Also!! [ this part is long ]

The Comic is the start of the Lusttale Canon Comics im wanting to do, at some point ill fizzle off the story when it becomes Slice of Life saga, which at that point ill maybe do more lore drops until i can figure out a good way to continue the comic, which rn im thinking that maybe Frisk ends up exploring more of the underground!

So the timeline [ Roughly since rn its still floating around but also since i dont wanna spoil ], i gotta figure out the times better but ik this all will occur over just barely the first year, as trying to add years to it feels. .. weird? idk! Theres lots of days in a month, thats more then enough time. Day one - Frisk falls down, same day meets Toriel, and soon lives with her 3 month time jump - Frisk hasnt tried the reset button at all during this time [ Magic was weak in the ruins since ykno,, i dont see alot of magic going to that area ] Last day of 2nd month - Frisk finds out about the tunnel under the house that went to the doors to the Forrest outside First day of 3rd month - Frisk hands up leaving the underground, Sans is already aware of this First few days of 3rd month will be where the adventure starts :3 Im keeping it short bc i dont wanna drag out too many things, but also to flesh out and explain things too :3c

hi Helii i dunno if you already made a post about this, but I'm curious if u thought of a different plot and ending for httyd 3 cause recently i've been thinking about that a lot and i like to hear people's opinions about the movie!

hi nonnie !! ive made 2 posts abt my opinion of httyd3 (ein) (zwei) but since then ive read things like directors commentaries and excerpts from the art book so theyre not Very complete (but still representative—i just give some of the people who worked on it too much leeway LMAO)

honestly i havent thought of a different plot or ending that much, mainly because there are a Lot of things that bug me about the movie and changing all of them would kinda make the fixed version™ almost unrecognizable, but i can give u some quickfire easy decisions i think wouldve made the movie better

replace the Light Fury with a pack of Night Furies that escaped to THW. i dont understand the fascination with making Toothless the last NF because the "propogation of the species" genetically cant happen if he is, despite what Dreamworks REALLY wants u to believe by having Nightlights be a thing 1300 years later. every single NL u see after the 3rd movie is horrifically inbred !!

scrap New Berk. the "Old Berk" location was so important to its people that they defended it from dragons for 400 years, they wouldn't just pick up and move. also, the overcrowding problem is a non-issue because there's so much room on that island to expand onto and Hiccup is not that much of a dumbass*

show Toothless struggling with leaving Hiccup to chase the LF (or NFs)—maybe he tries to drag him along and theres something that forces them to separate for Hiccup's safety

in that vein ^ there are like 3 total scenes where Hiccup and Toothless are together and that really cheapens the emotional followthrough so... have them be friends again. the 2nd movie, the first time we see them goofing off and chatting alone with each other, showing the audience how strong their bond is and what their dynamic is like. i dont remember if the 3rd movie has Anything like that

speaking of which LOSE THE "dragons are wild animals" POINT. this is a major inspiration for the movie so its one of the things that would change the Whole Story but Dean needs to make up his fucking mind over whether the dragons are gentle, intelligent, sapient creatures who know how to perfectly understand human speech and body language or wild, dangerous animals who need to be "free" from humans (the former is how dragons have been treated by every piece of httyd media until the third movie and the latter contradicts everything, is less interesting, and destroys the previous themes entirely so guess which i prefer)

adding on, stop treating Hiccup like garbage. he didn't find Toothless when he was a baby dragon and nursed him back to health before keeping him and thats all Toothless has ever known. Toothless had spent 15 years prior to befriending Hiccup being a dangerous. wild dragon and blowing up Berk. He's been "free" almost twice as long as he's been friends with Hiccup. LAY OFF, his concerns about Toothless are valid.

i've talked about this before but Hiccup is a terrible chief in this movie and the role shouldve gone to someone better qualified, like Astrid. unlike what some of the directors would have u believe, it IS mature to recognize ur bad at something and hand it off to someone who is more competent (especially if its a job like leadership) bc usually sticking to it gets u Fired. *he makes dumbass decisions so the villain can look smart and this is literally the only reason why he makes them i promise u

same point: Toothless is also a bad alpha in this movie. the premise of a single dragon ruling over all other dragons in the world is Really Bad in of itself, but we don't see Toothless do anything like what Valka's Bewilderbeast did in httyd2—sure he's smaller, but give us a few scenes of him being kind and patient with his people. don't have him order everyone into cages because his girlfriend might get hurt

REDEEM THE DEATHGRIPPERS none of them did anything wrong

treat the side characters with some modicum of respect. this movie does absolutely jackshit with Valka other than make Snotlout have a creepy crush on her and everyone has caught brainworms to make Hiccup and Astrid look competent in comparison.

do not. focus on Hiccup and Astrid's relationship as much as u did. u already failed to deliver a "call to the wild" story in Toothless and the LF, the audience does not need more ammo to get "romance is more important than friendship" out of your movie. having Astrid's role completely reduced to "supportive girlfriend" and "Hiccup's True support", along with how Valka was treated (god that goodbye scene with her and Cloudjumper makes me so sad and angry and NOT for the reasons the writers want) and the LF's design being Like That on PURPOSE (also every single model being airbrushed for Prettyness reasons) kind of shows what Some People making the movie think of women

even discounting ALL of these ^ gripes, of which i have More, trust me (i didnt even get into my problems with Grimmel because honestly i do not remember enough of that twat to properly articulate my issues w him), i would be happy if the end went 1 of 2 ways:

Berk moves inside or near THW in order to keep being the defenders of the dragons, and the LF growing closer to Hiccup is representative of the hidden world dragons growing closer to Berk, illustrating that yes, coexistence is possible and good and benefits them both

the dragons gradually leave on a case-by-case basis, but Toothless never leaves Hiccup, and Hiccup grows old always waiting for him to visit. Hiccup writes a memoir of his experiences with dragons to hopefully educate the younger generation when they decide to come back. this mirrors the books' ending far better and gives the dragons the agency they deserve

i do not think there is a world where every dragon on earth leaves to THW and is simultaneously a good ending which portrays the right themes. Dean's fascination with "there were dragons when i was a boy" kneecapped the entire plot. you do not write stories starting from how you want them to end, especially if they're stories based off a beloved franchise with already established dynamics and themes. the Reason why so many plot elements are so contrived, why so much character development is lost, why httyd's theme of tolerance, cooperation, and the power of love is hamstrung, is because they Really Wanted an end where there are no dragons and they were Completely willing to do anything to get there (also Dreamworks is shit to its artists but whats new)

finally beat pikmin 4 :}

spoilers under the cut as i ramble.

first off: my complaints.

biggest issue thats on my mind rn since it was effecting me just now in the final fight: if i throw my pikmin but they arent too far from me, they just come back to me??? i was trying to put them on a ledge so the final boss' heat wave wouldnt kill them. bc some of them like the purples werent thrown far, they kept coming back. that feature kind of sucks!

second: not sure why they made bootleg versions of pikmin 3 captains. i get why they werent in the game (though, they couldve been castaways with a side quest of gathering all the fruit treasures but, whatever) but i dont get why they needed bootleg versions. nelle couldve been an entirely different looking npc, yknow? one of them was even alph's brother...

third: caves werent nearly as long. aside from the final cave being 20 floors (and just like a boss rush for the most part, but also there were some like that in 2 so its fine) every cave was like 1-5 floors. i wouldve appreciated longer caves.. its definitely a possibility since you can choose which sublevel to go to after leaving a cave, so u dont have to do a long one entirely over.

also, the "only 3 pikmin at a time" was a little annoying. im glad you can have more than 3 types in a cave, at least, but you cant bring more than 3 with you which sucks. i get putting a limit, but i think a good limit wouldve been 5. 20 of each to have 100, like pikmin 2 and 3! also probably wouldve let caves be more interesting with more varieties to bring.

just a nitpick at this point but i don't quite understand the "existing enemy but just larger with no visual difference aside from size" trend. sovereign bulblax is slightly visually different, so i can accept that. but the jumbo bulborb and blowhogs, aside from different movesets, were just scaled up models. i think doing something to make them look a little different wouldve been nice, even if it was just a color difference or smth.

final complaint: i love glow pikmin but why must they replace bulbmin :{

the glow seeds are nice... but bulbmin are so everything to me. reserving glowmin 2 night time only and bulbmin in select caves wouldve been nice. i get it but also. i miss them....

ANYWAYS. complaints out of the way.

i thought i wouldnt like the "basically back to 1 captain" thing, but it was actually pretty good! oatchi is basically like a captain as well but with more capabilities, so i think it was pretty good. the upgrade system was also real nice imo!! with your character, oatchi and the onions, it was neat. it gives a better feeling of progression, and doesnt make things TOO easy from the beginning, getting as many red pikmin as possible to kill everything.

also i wasnt sold on the series reboot thing, but i think it works fine. i get having to reboot it to integrate the dogs into the story! (i still want to believe pikmin 3 will happen in this timeline sort of. i doubt olimar and louie would be present, but yknow.)

im also happy there were so many areas, and even with ~230 (239?) treasure types, i liked that there were a lot of repeats. without having to make so many different models, we got a ton of treasure to pick up.

the old bosses brought back were fun, too!! submerged castle 2 was really intense and fun. a little unsure why baldy long legs was back, but not shaggy... are they all permanently hairless now?

overall very good game. im not sure if its going to dethrone 2 as my favorite, but its certainly my 2nd fav! (3 being 3rd, 1 being 4th. 1 is very janky and unforgiving, so its just not as fun.)

the platforming elements brought in with the introduction of oatchi were really good. pikmin platforming.. its very cool and works really well! i was worried abt it, but honestly it wasnt too overdone, but not neglected at all. and better than pikmin sidescroller.

at this point, all i can hope for is maybe some free updates for the future... if not, hopefully a substantial dlc that would feel worth paying for. (the dlc for pikmin 3 was kind of a joke.)

dandori stages and battles, as well as night mode were kind of hard for me to adjust to, but once i got it figured out it was really satisfying. still not a big fan of vs dandori, but somehow i managed to at least get bronze and silver on the last 2 on my first try. night mode... that final stage was. a bit much. 2 proggs, 3 emperors i think it was? and a long legs??? it felt a little ridiculous, and i DID have to look up a guide, but i got it.

overall probably a 9/10 for me (even pikmin 2 isnt a 10/10, dont worry). its definitely the longest of pikmin games which i love, i was hoping for a super long game and it delivered pretty well! i think i spent close to 50 hours playing just one file to 100% completion. much better than the few hours you can spend playing pikmin 3.

now im going to start a new file, this time doing a no death run. i only lost 14 pikmin total, so i absolutely can do it!!

(Spoilers ahead)

So, in the new trilogy, the main character is Rey (no last name), an feral gremlin of an orphan who lives ona desert planet and has learned about the rebellion in ancient texts and loves them. One day she meets Finn (ex stormtrooper) and bb8 (adorable nb droid) and they both say they have to bring bb8 to The Rebellion. Rey, being an adorable nerd, absolutly beams with joy and does this, with adventures along the way. There's also Poe Dameron, super cool pilots and best bud with bb8, who keeps doing heart eyes to Finn and has helped him escape. The bad guy of the story is Kylo Ren aka Quiche Lorraine aka the poser emo son of Han and Leia, who idolizes Darth Vador and wants to rebuild the Space Nazi Dictatorship (it's not subtle : theit logo is black thing in white circle on a red background).

So what kind of ship do we have, here ? Rey(white woman) with Finn (black man), about overcoming what you're born into and being your own hero. There's Finn (black man) and Poe (latino man), about being bickering best friend and saving eachother. Or, there's the white man (Kylo Ren), and you can ship him with Rey to make the Heterosexual White Couple where the woman has to redeem the man.

Please note that during the first film, Kylo tortured Rey (and Poe), and they fought a lot. And Kyle was like "uh maybe i can be saved... SIKE it was a ruse to kill my dad".

In large, the internet flocked to FinnPoe... or to Reylo. The Reylo stan were *unsufferable*, attacking people who were saying that the SpaceDictator was a bad man (one unironically said that people should be nicebeing seeing his dad die in frontof hiseyes surely traumatized him, forgetting that he *killed* him) and making up Tumblr Fake Stories about recieving free crepes by a fellow Reylo shipper, The Most Opressed Group Of All time. Dont get me wrong, there was definetly a large anti-reylo movement, because of the inherent mysoginy of the "she can can save him from himself" trope, the "shipping a woman with her abuser" and the obvious need to thirst on the single white man when John Boyega and Oscar Isaac here here, but the Reylo were sooo much more vocal.

The 2nd movie was super divisive for a lot of reasons, mostly that it didnt look like any other star wars film and subverted a lot of expectations. I wont get into,but i really liked it. There was this whole thing about a secret bad guy forming a mental bond between Rey and Kylo, and Kylo trying to manipulate her to come to the dark side and Rey thinking "Leia is nice, i will do all i can to bring her son back to her and save him". But at the end of the film she realizes he can't be saved if he doesn't *want* to be saved and she cuts the connection bc she's badass. She has empathy for him but she cares about *the million of people he opresses and kill* more. The reactionto the film were EXPLOSIVE, and the Reylo shipper kind of harassed everyone (to be fqire they werent the only one, Mary Tran, the only asian woman of the whole star wars universe, had to delete her social media in part bc he character kissed Finn and in partbc she dared to be an asianwomanin a star wars)

The the 3rd film arrived, and it was... a shit show. Jj abraams retconned all the interesting bits of the 2nd film, Mary Tran character basically disappeared, the latino man was revealed to be a drug dealer, palpatine (bad guy from trilogy 1 and 2) arrived out of NOWHERE, i cant emphasize enough how he was dead and not even metionned before that film, Rey was revealed to be a Super Special hereditary mc guffin and she can bring people back to life now, Finn says "Rey i have something to say to you!" and never says what it is, and Kylo Ren said "mh maybe palpatine is evil, i should repent and be a good guy now". So him and Rey join force in a (granted, impressively choreographed) fight scene, and he dies and she kisses him (which does not bring him back to life despite the tchekov's gun before) and the good guys whin. Jj abraams said later that they should have written a 3 movie scenario instead of making things up as they go. A lot of people theorize that the retcon and the reylo change of heart/redemption arc had come bc of the reylo stan outcry online.

So, there. A brief history of Reylo and why a lot of people (me included) think it sucks. I'm gonna be honest, the Reylo stans are a big part of it.

answering this made me realize that i dont remember much about actual wc lore. ive been so focused on my own stories n characters that i was like oh yeah. warrior cats isnt my own made up creation and it already has canon established charcaters and stories . yeah <3 PLUS ALSO IT MADE ME REalize i barely know anything about the series from thr 5th series onward. like i know and have read every book from series 1-3, read 4/6 books i the 4th series, and i havent read the 5th, 6th, or 7th series. BUT i did read the first book in the 8th series annnnnd i liked it a lot so :) but yeah i dont really know much about series 5-7 but from what ive heard and seen n from what ive seen in videos the 5th series is good, the 6th series is okay and the first half of the 7th series is fine but it gets worse after book 3 KJSDKJBLKJG

1. What originally drew me to it

well. i was at the library in like 4th grade (maybe 3rd i genuinely dont remember) and i saw the cover for fire and ice (the 2nd book in the 1st series) and i waslike omg thasa kitty !!!!!!! and i read it and i aws like "WAW I NEED TO READ MORE I LOVE THESE FUCKED UP CATS HHOOOHGH WHATS GONNA HAPPEN TO GRAYSTRIPE AND FIREHEART HOUOUHG???!??!" n then i went back read the first book and after that i just. yeah <333

8. The character with the greatest wasted/unexplored potential

like. every single background character in thunderclan. because think about it so many of them could be interesting and have interesting stories and potential to do stuff but sooooo many cats are juts. wasted potential. i think hollytuft, one of lionblaze's and cinderheart's kits, could have had so much potential. SHE could've gotten flamepaw's arc of not living up to everyones expectations. hollytuft is named after lionblaze's dead sister hollyleaf and i feel like flamepaw's whole arc of being liek "ugh ive never even MET firestar and hes this IMPORTANT LEADER GUY and he's my GREAT GRANDFATHER and i look NOTHING LIKE HIM!!!!" could have and should have been given to hollytuft. hollytuft never met hollyleaf but with hollytuft her design looks exactly like hollyleaf, black fur n green eyes. something could have been done with that, with her being liek "ohhh im nervous because my dad wants me to live up to my aunt hollyleaf's name but ouhghg i feel like im not good neough because im juts a nobody im not special like she was !!!" and aughudgbhj. even her siblings fernsong and sorrelstripe could have had a similar arc to hers as they're both named after other cats, ferncloud and sorreltail who are also both deceased. but noOOOOo they gave what could have been an interesting story to Firestar Clone #4 and not her </333

14. The character/story arc I find the most compelling

i really really really like frostpaw's arc so far. idk if that rly counts bc arc 8 isnt finished yet and book 2 isnt even OUT yet so all we have to go off of is what was shown in book 1 but so far im just IN LOVE with her. poor thing was like "im gonna be a medicine cat apprentice!!!!!" and suddenly had to deal with her leader dying, their deputy being mysteriously murdered, and then her own mother bein mauled to death in front of her by DOGS. on top of that her mentor, her mediicne cat mentor, DOESNT BELIEVE IN STARCLAN and thats like a HUGE THING because a med cat is , yknow, supposed to be connected To Starclan n is supposed to get prophecies n stuff from them but mothwing, frostpaw's mentor, doesnt. believe in starclan. so its just. yeah! its very very interesting so far

16. A scene/moment that makes me really emotional every single time

there's. i think these few extra chapters in one of the books that comes after squirrelflight's hope, where leafpool dies. and its these few like bonus chapters about jayfeather (leafpool's son) and his own grief and him trying so hard to deny that he's grieving and then being visited by leafpool from starclan and just LOSING IT and its so ?? heart wrenching??? and afterwards he's like "actually no. it is okay 2 grieve . i am going to be okay" AND IM JUTS LIKE AWAHHAHAAAHAAAA <:( <:( <:(

18. A plot hole that makes me want to tear my hair out

theres so many. thers so many plot holes and inconsistencies in warrior cats that id be here all night if i had to name them all . but i suppose ill give a list of the ones i hate very very very VERY much :

i feel like every single Thing about starclan/the dark forest is just. a plot hole. in the prophecies begin and i think the new prophecy the dark forest is supposed to be a place where every Evil Cat goes and spends the rest of their life in solitude and they dont speak to any other dark forest resident. they can still talk to living cats through dreams but thats about it. but then fuckin idk in the 4th series theyre like "uhhh yeah hawkfrost tigerstar and brokenstar and every other dark forest warrior are able to communicate with each other which shouldnt be. like. possible! but oh well <3 same with starclan bc its like sometimes they can do certain things and then in other books theyre like "umm actually we cant do that" so its like . H

every single parent/kit plot hole/inconsistency. theres so many cats who we dont know the fathers/mothers of (though its more often than not the fathers who are unknown) and that on its own is to be expected, esp in super editions or in the early series. we to this day still have no idea who sandstorm's parents are. we don't know who ashfur/ferncloud's father is. we dont know who cloudtail's father is. we dont know a lot of things! but something that bothers me is when the warrior cats family tree tries to say that this cat is so-and-so's father especially when said cat is absolutely not the kit's father. like with whitestorm and brindleface, whitestorm is said to be brindleface's mate and therefore ferncloud and ashfur's mate. but whitestorm was already mates with willowpelt at the same time as he was supposedly mates with brindle, and whitestorm is absolutely not the type of person to have a mate, have kits with said mate, and then instantly move on to another cat while his kits are still in the nursery. whitestorm is loyal and by all means a good father to his Actual kits, sorrelkit rainkit and sootkit. and then the wc family tree also suggested that redtail and brindleface (yes, the same brindleface who's suppsoedly also mates with whitestorm) are the parents of sandstorm despte sandstorm during the 1st series not participating in either of their funerals. plus if you make sandstorm brindleface's daughter you make ashfur her brother and you make squirrelflight' sandstorm's daughter, ashfur's niece. and thats REAL bad when the whole ashfur having a thing for squirrelflight happens. yikes!

thats really it those are all the things i can think of. ik its only 2 things but . oh well DBJHBJKG

i would definitely talk to him about it and let him know how you feel, especially in the moment. take some time and try again when you’re ready but don’t rush it! it could be you’re hyping it up too much in your head, since it’s happened before it’s probably just you overthinking things, even subconsciously. is it extremely sudden or is it a slow thing? when i start getting anxious i feel it in my throat, like i can’t breathe and it starts really slowly. if i can stop or get away from what’s making me anxious it goes away. if you can feel it coming on, slow things down and let him know. figure out what calms you down and let him know so he can do them! i would say next time, try to take control of things, go at your own pace and i dont mean just with sex, i mean everything leading up to it too. you remove every piece of clothing when you’re ready to so you’re not surprised when he does it, even if you’re expecting it. see if that helps?

intimacy is intimidating! don’t feel bad about it, just take your time and don’t push yourself bc that’ll backfire and make it worse <3 take care of yourself

1st I'm very glad that my messages make you happy there's a lot of care into them AND your writing makes ME very happy so, feels like a fair trade.

2nd SOTB IS SO ROMANTIC LIKE!!! I love how she combines a more mystical/ethereal view of love to a very mundane and domestic side of it <3 Also I agree very much, love the version with more lana, I think it really suits her voice.

3rd omg which other album would make your top three??? this is now a very serious question. And also, COWBOY LIKE ME AU WHENNN.

4th IT WAS LOUIS' HATER ERA BUT I LOVE IT SOOOOO MUCH. I love him throughout the whole fic tbh, I think sometimes authors when writing ""enemies"" to lovers (i mean are they really enemies if Harry was in love with him FOR MONTHS 💀) either make the first conflict too harsh or then make characters' reaction not proportionate at all with the event itself but I think that Louis' behavior in yours was so credible, I really really loved dtl.

5th I WANT TO GO. I live in europe sooo I thought I had already gotten over my "I wanna live in the USA when I grow up 😍" era, but reading your descriptions of Cleveland made me want to AT LEAST go there to visit it.

6th OK SO. I HAVE STARTED THE INNINGS. IN FACT, I'VE READ ALMOST ALL OF THEM. I think the next one is the tenth. I'm trying to save them because I usually read really fast (I read write this down in like... two days........) but I've been struggling with finding new fics (if you have any recommendations plz do tell) and I'm not ready to finish the innings because then I won't have any ""new dtl content" for when I'm really struggling with finding something to read before bed. so. yeah. who knows. in a month I've read 10 innings so it probably won't last much longer ahahah BUT I'M LOVING IT SO SO MUCH. I could probably give you a review on each of the innings and explain why I loved every single one of them but I reckon that would make a too long of tumblr ask so... I won't ❤️ but I will say that I LOVE HARRY SO MUCH. like I love dtl louis in the sense of: I would love to be his friend, I would love to hang out with him. HARRY THOUGH??? He's like: COMFORT CHARACTER. I KNOW I ALREADY SAID THIS BEFOFE BUT HE REALLY IS. THE FIRST INNING??????? KNOWING HIS INNER THOUGHTS????? like. I can't. I CANT. Don't think I'll survive dtl (harry's version) :)))

(also!!!! I didn't know anything about baseball before I read dtl and I thought it would be good to have a mere idea of the game before starting the fic so I spent approximately 3 hours on youtube watching videos like "how to play baseball (BASICS)" or "how to play baseball (BASICS (FOR EUROPEANS WHO HAVE NEVER WATCHED A GAME))", just kidding this last one didn't exist. BUT IT SHOULD. It would've been helpful. Anyway rn I still haven't started supporting a team (bc honestly I get very overwhelmed with the amount of games and since my knowledge of RL baseball is close to 0 I'm not sure how I'm supposed to watch it or how do people usually follow the season) BUT I WILL SAY THAT I DONT THINK I COULD EVER SUPPORT THE CUBS. Just bc in my mind they're forever meanies and I just can't. So thanks for that!!!!!)

7th IM SO EXCITED TO SEE WHAT YOU HAVE PREPARED FOR THEM. I SWEAR TIS THE DAMN SEASON AND I'VE STARTED LISTENING TO EVERMORE AGAIN AND I REALLY FEEL THE SUDDEN NEED TO REREAD WRITE THIS DOWN. but I think I'm going to save it for christmas cause I think it will be sooo comforting because HOLIDAYS. So, until then I'll just listen to evermore and think about them.

8th whiiiiich brings me to the point of this whole ask! I watched the eras tour film today and when it got to champagne problems all I could think about was liam. Like my friends were crying (we're all very devoted Taylor/Louis/Harry fans) and I was thinking about the fact that Liam did buy champagne. In your fic. Honestly I was thinking about them the whole time. So yeah, you have officially altered the way I perceive evermore, thank you so much.

9th (bc 9 innings) have you been to the eras tour? or have you watched the film?? If no to both YOU NEED TO WATCH THE FILM as soon as it's available!!! it's so good!! TOLERATE IT. like are you KIDDING???????????? i also loved the pure joy in the stadium during the fearless set. and she had so many of my favorite songs on the setlist. im just aljdsfklsjfskfjsf i would love to relive that night again and again :') and i saw the movie the day it was released! i may actually go see it again this week with some family!!!!! i love it so so so so much! are you seeing the era's tour??? :')
