Life is too short to drive boring cars and live in boring houses.
Now that Kennedy is getting older it’s almost time to pick up something fun and take her for a spin. Would you roll this?
And if you have something like this I have the perfect garage to park it in.
This is the McLaren 600 LT spyder in luminaire green. By far in my humble opinion one of the best colors for this car. Loaded…

Weekends were meant for resting, for eating fun foods, watching crappy movies, and snuggling with your girlfriend on the couch. What they are not for is standing on your kitchen counter in a feral position while you threaten said girlfriend with household items.
Agatha pinched the bridge of her nose, sighing in exasperation.
“Y/N, love, get off of the countertop.”
You shook your head, staring at the monstrous beast she had brought into your home which was currently resting on her shoulder. Blindly reaching behind you, you flailed your hand around until it hit something cold and heavy. With the strength of a toddler, you swung your new-found weapon towards Agatha, who just looked at you lovingly. She smiled, shaking her head and chuckling, taking a step forward. You scooted backward, careful not to fall off the edge of the counter. You raised your arms in a defensive position, a satirically serious look on your face. In took everything in Agatha not to laugh.
“Darling come on-”
Agatha walked up to the countertop, leaning on her elbows, letting the monster crawl down her arm. You shrieked, swinging your “weapon” wildly. Agatha rolled her eyes, shaking her head.
“Y/N put that down!”
You shook your head, your grip tightening on the metal handle, knuckles going white.
“Oh, I don’t think so!” You replied, your voice strong as you stared down your girlfriend.
“You’re not gonna do much damage with that to anyone, especially me!” Agatha chuckled out, letting purple magical wisps swirl from her hands.
“You'd be surprised how much a frying pan can hurt!” Your eyebrows furrowed in concentration as you watched the beast resting on Agatha’s arm. Then something awful happened.
The little shit jumped.
You screamed, launching yourself backwards, falling off the countertop. Agatha rushed to your side, holding in laughter as she examined you for any injuries. You rubbed your head with your free hand, still gripping the frying pan tightly. Looking around, you searched for Agatha’s new friend. You held the pan up to Agatha, the metal grazing her chin. If you were in your right mind, you would laugh at how you felt like Rapunzel right now.
“Where. Is. It?” Agatha sighed once more, reaching a hand up to cup your chin, turning your head. The eight-legged demon stood just a few feet away, it’s eyes sparkling with evil. You laughed nervously, snuggling into Agatha. Donning your best puppy eyes, you looked up at your witch.
“Aggie?”
You didn’t even have to finish your question, Agatha flicked her wrist, the spider disappearing in a cloud of purple smoke. You let out a sigh of relief, loosening your grip on the frying pan. You shot up, putting the pan away, brushing yourself off. You smile down at Agatha.
“Wanna watch a movie? I’m in a Tangled mood.” Agatha had an incredulous look on her face as she stood up.
“You want to watch a movie after your little stunt?” You shrugged, a mischievous smile forming on your face.
“You’re the one who brought a spider into our home. It’s either you watch this movie and be forgiven or no kisses for a month.”
You calmly walked over to the couch, even if your nerves were still on edge. Freaking spider.
Agatha practically ran to the living room, grabbing the remote to find the movie, pulling you in to cuddle as the Disney castle appeared on screen.
could i get your like top 10 marvel comic must reads? I'm dyslexic and have a huge issue reading comics so i cant read a ton of them and i want to know which ones are worth the struggles to read.
oooh okay so here's the thing, most of my favorite comics are considered bad by the comic community at large and I mostly read spider-man and also I have no idea what genre you prefer to read in so take these with a grain of salt and judge for yourself if it'd be something you'd be interested in
I really like the spectacular spider-man run that began in 1988 which actually continues the spectacular spider-man series that began in 76. I wouldn't say this is beginner friendly but there are some really excellent moments and I'm a Harry Osborn stan and this run gives him a lot of attention
Jonathan Hickman's run of the fantastic four is considered to be one of the best and yeah it absolutely is! (the numbering for it is a little weird because there's a title change so it's Fantastic Four #570–588, FF #1-23, Fantastic Four #600–611) I love this run because it's a huge scifi adventure but always at the core is how important the fantastic family is (also Spider-Man is there) no spoilers if you do read it, but I ugly cried the first time I read it
I adore the Spider-Gwen story, it's a self-contained story with a gripping universe. Because it's its own thing, it's easy to get into but also if you have the context of 616 Gwen Stacy, it's made all the better. I wouldn't call this a must read because it doesn't affect the main universe but I adore it and the art is gorgeous. It feels like a fun YA novel in the best way
In that same vein, I adore the Spider-Man Noir comics. Again not like a must read, but if you want something darker and gritty but not hopelessly grimdark this is the best marvel has to offer. If you like mysteries it's definitely a go-to and I adore the aesthetic, it's really a creative spin on the characters. Like they could have just told a simple noir detective story and they told a great one and so much more
This definitely isn't a must read but I need more people interested in Gwenpool so read Unbelievable Gwenpool! It's fun, it's bubbly, it oozes joy and a genuine love for the comic medium, the art is adorable. Gwen is a wonderful character to get invested in because she really feels so fragile and human in this world of super humans
While we're talking about relatable deeply human stories, G. Willow Wilson's Ms. Marvel series is so excellent. I actually really like Wilson's novels, she excels at magical realism and it shows in the way she writes superhero stories. Her writing of Kamala comes from a place of love for the character and it's so clear that she's embedded so much of herself into the character and it's beautiful. It's such and fun and touching coming of age story, like it really deserves the hype
And while your there you've gotta check out the Champions, there's the full team that started in 2016 but then there's also the outlaws in 2020 that are a smaller team. I really like the direction outlaws goes but you gotta read the 2016 run because it's also fantastic. I don't love team stories but I adore the champions!! It's all my favorite heroes and they've got such a passion and they usually tackle heavy social issues and generally it's pretty well done. But the friendships really shine in this, this is a found family kind of team
Oh if you're going to read Daredevil, the Waid run is my favorite! It's still emotionally heavy like all Daredevil comics, but Matt is trying to make himself better and he fights his depression with a joy for life, reminiscent of the camp of older comics. Even though it has a more whimsical approach, the darker moments still feel real and heavy. It's a very well balanced story with Matt's friendship with Foggy highlighted as well as a lot of new wonderful character
Okay back to Spider-Man, I feel like Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (2019) is a really beginner friendly story that is easy to read. I adore it because the story highlights Peter working with individual people, showcasing him as street-level hero. He's so kind to normal people and it really shows that being a hero is about more than punching problems away. There are also a lot of familiar faces helping him out and I just love to see Peter accepting help
okay that's 9 so far and there are a lot of Spider-Man comics I could recommend, but they're not beginner or dyslexia friendly (I'm also dyslexic btw, and you'd think comics would be easier to read but sometimes the layout of text is physically painful so I feel you) so I guess I'll just give you some fun short team-ups. Spider-Man and the Human Torch, Spider-Man and Deadpool, IronCat, Mary Jane and Black Cat, and oh you should definitely check out Black Cat's solo series, they're absolutely excellent
I seriously need to block the word spider-man from every website I use if I see any more clips of that game I'm gonna break and end up with a $570 bill
I was reminded of a TV show I used to watch as a kid - Fort Boyard (Quebec version) - a gameshow where teams complete physical challenges and misc riddles on the set of an ancient French floating prison.
Not a ton of episodes exist online afaict, but this one on YouTube is up and fun to watch.
https://youtu.be/xfqvuwCO4pQ
It features an extremely hot beef man named Alex, who carries the team in every sense of the term.
I liked the team captain's face:
as he watched his lady teammate mudwrestle a "prisoner" for a treasure key:
It's also my face though when Beefy Alex solves a zelda puzzle irl
While others engage in historically accurate tests of stamina
Or wimp out when locked in a box with spiders and scorpions.
The head prison guard overlooking the final segment, where remaining players spell out the answer to a riddle on a banjo kazooie sandcastle floor.
Enjoying Beefy Alex struggle to get his massive arms through the bars to collect coins from solving the final riddle correctly.
Ultimately escaping the room/completing the game with a grand total of... 570 Canadian dollars (in 1999 money).
Watching this as an adult, I love how casually this place of abject horror and human misery was turned into a weird and deeply memorable game show.
#i honestly see lxc as an example of how lack of information/lack of depth of information and excessive trustworthiness can misguide someone

Wei Ying has his fear of dogs, Lan Zhan deals with it the best he can by shooing the dogs away and he gets kisses in return plenty
But my personal headcanon is that both the fearsome Yiling Patriarch and his illustrous Hanguang-Jun have a shared fear/disgust of spiders
Fierce corpses, ghosts, ancient beasts? Fair game.
Spiders?
Nah, they don't fuck with that.
"Lan Zhan, you saw it first, you deal with it."
"No."
"What do you mean no?! Aren't you my husband? You're supposed to protect me!"
"Mn. But you are also my husband, so, likewise."
"This is ridiculous. You're Hanguang-Jun, the Second Jade of Lan. That's just a stupid spider!"
"You are also the Yiling Patriarch, the grandmaster of demonic cultivation."
"Lan Zhan, come on, we can't stay up on this table forever. Just kill it!"
"Killing is forbidden in the Cloud Recesses."
"A whole lot of things we do are forbidden in the Cloud Recesses but that never stopped you before!"
"Mn."
"No 'mn'!! You have to do something about it and quickly, unless it..."
"Wei Ying?"
"The...the spider...I don't know where it is, it's gone!!"
"Gone?!"
(Sizhui comes to visit and finds his two most respected parental figures in battle stances, Chenqing is out, talismans float about and the two very graciously stand on their spiritual swords safely away from the floor.
Sizhui kills the spider.)

"Ask me now, see if I would deny you anything." is the most romantic, erotic, emotional, heart-wrenching, devotion-filled, loving sentence I have ever read and I will never recover from it

AITA for getting punched in the face?
So I (16, M) am betrothed to a girl (16, F) I don't really like but my mom and her mom made the arrangement before we were born and neither of our dads (or us) get much say in this because our moms are scary.
Anyway, I really don't like this girl. She's just average and the only reason we're supposed to marry is because our moms are sworn sisters and we're from powerful, noble families. Not to brag, but I'm exceptionally good-looking and highly skilled, and I don't think a girl so meek and ordinary would be fit for me at all.
I don't see the point of hiding my disdain for her. Anyone with a good pair of eyes can see how different I am from her and there is no point in me pretending I feel any different about her.
To preface, I don't think I'm the asshole and I want to prove I'm not the only one who thinks that.
Onto the story:
Some friends were talking about pretty girls and such, and since I don't necessarily care for those discussions, I kept silent. One of them then mentioned I am not saying anything because I am already in love with my forced fiancee and see no other girls as interesting.
I simply responded like I did above: that I find her unappealing and she's not at all my type. Which prompted her almost-brother (long story, but the guy isn't even adopted in the family, just hangs out around them and somehow ended up as head disciple) to punch me in the face. Hard.
I am not weak at all but the hit took me by surprise and led to me walking around with a swollen face for several days. The guy got punished but not without him and my fiancee's actual brother both calling me an asshole.
Could you all convince them I am NTA once and for all?
Edit 1: To update you all, I actually did marry my fiancee (not resulting from the arranged marriage, it was annuled and then we ended up falling in love on our own) and she's an amazing, kind and beautiful person with whom I am going to have a son in a few months.
I was an arrogant, annoying, entitled, incel-esque piece of shit two years ago but thankfully, I got better and am on the way of becoming a decent person and hopefully a good father!!
I love my wife very much and I regret I didn't treat her right from the start, but I now have the rest of my life to make it up to her although I know she has already forgiven me anyway.
Growth is a wonderful thing and I think everyone should embrace it. I used to really hate my life and resent my parents for the environment they have raised me in as an arranged marriage couple that was never really happy. I thought the same would happen to me and I projected all of that onto my wife for no reason - but now I am happily married and feel so loved and appreciated that I can't help but model after my wife's kindness and good character.
Edit 2: My son just came into the world a few days ago. He is happy and healthy and I am fighting with my wife about who gets to hold him more!! I can't wait for his one month celebration, I'll try to make up with my wife's brothers and make sure my son has all his uncles in his life! I'll update you all with pictures after the event!
