𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐄𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒. naruto wasn't one to cry often, really. not that there was much wrong with crying . . . often times you'd feel better afterword. but this isn't really one of those times. he'd been careful not to wake sasuke, finding himself in the living room, seated on the couch with a pillow in his lap. nightmares were no joke and it's not the first time he'd woken with tears streaming down his face. but it is the first time sasuke's caught him in such a vulnerable state. he didn't exactly enjoy his close ones seeing him like this despite what anyone might say.

blue eyes snap up, sasuke standing only a few feet away. he can see the other's sharingan swirling in the dark. naruto knows how sasuke can be, more than anyone else really and he stiffens at the comment. naruto's quick to shake his head, using the sleeve of his shirt to rid the tears. if he didn't shut the other down now he'd go on a rampage. ❛ i don't think . . . you can murder nightmares, sasuke. ❜ he manages, sniffling under his breath. still, he chuckles at the mere idea of it, smiling now as he looks at his boyfriend who is still bristling.
