Some mutuals and I started reading Sue Klebold's book
And the only thing I can say right now is did Tommy2Cents even open the book? The introduction and the preface already debunk a majority of what he says in his video.
Also I know I said I wasn't going to say the youtube because I didn't want people harassing him-and I still stand by that-but I think everyone in the community knows about it by now since it was on r/Columbine.
I said I was reading it out of spite and that's why.

What do you mean by twins?
Star and Stephanie are twins. They were raised quite normally, until their father was revealed on the news to be a villain and not just a normal prisoner. Although their mother was aware of it, the rest of the city was not, and suddenly her daughters were in danger.
The families of those Cluemaster had attacked became enraged and sought revenge on those closest to him: his family. Unfortunately, their mother could not take care of both of them and when the press revealed the identity of one of the twins, she made a risky decision.
She asked her brother to take care of Star, to hide her, and she stayed with Stephanie. They were both too young to remember, and over the years they lost touch. The twins' mother did not want to risk her brother who was now living in Amity Park. So she didn't call frequently.
On one occasion where a football match between Amity and Gotham was held, Star participated as a cheerleader. Not noticing Stephanie's frightened look from the stands. Had someone cloned her? Why?
The bat family got paranoid and tried to initiate contact with "the clone" to get a sample, but the Amity Parkers were too cautious. And the bats swore they felt eyes on the back of their necks every time they tried to get close.
Of course, the Amity Parkers wouldn't let them get close, which made the vigilantes even more frustrated. The worst part is that it was all a misunderstanding, but that didn't stop the battle between the two sides.

Okay slight spoilers for Gale and his family!
SOOOOOO his mother's name is Morena Dekarios and he took his mother's last name and she seems to be some sort of deal as Tara makes very sure to really annunciate Dekarios (I'd like to think she's an ex-adventurer in her own right! Maybe a cleric!)
BUT WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH GALE'S FATHER?????!!! That man gets no mention and is just erased from everything???
Does he even know his father???
I need all the headcanons and theory please

people always complain about the Tazmily villagers being massive cunts to Lucas during Mother 3 (understandably so, though i think it’s given the entire town a bad rap that isn’t totally deserved) but honestly i kinda. really like it? there’s just something interesting about how a lot of rpgs like this have your town or whatever town you go to supporting you. it’s a neat subversion to have the town you grow up in turn on you for trying to save them because they don’t know any better.
it’s extremely interesting seeing your town, people who have known you your whole life, fall victim to propaganda and lies to the point that they act in unrecognizable ways, but you choose to help them anyways because it’s in your nature. when the world resets, it gives them a chance to start over. i think that’s the implication of the ending, considering a lot of Mother 3 is about letting go and forgiving. i think the villagers needed to be shitty to help drive home that theme (though a lot of them remained relatively kind, i’d say about 50/50 either way).
it also does a lot to say that cruelty can come from anywhere. you don’t have to be a bad person to do bad things like that, but also that it isn’t necessarily a permanent thing, or that there’s more to people than just the bad things they’ve done. i feel like Mother 3 ends with the idea that the world is given another chance, and that’s huge. even if the world was cruel, it still deserved kindness back in hopes of a better future. the Tazmily villagers are still just people, after all.
Itoi gave the villagers a lot of depth to show how multi-faceted people can be, both kind and cruel, good and bad, and leaves the ending up in the air for people to decide what everyone will choose to do once the world begins anew. one can only hope that they would do better.

i'm just collecting bits and pieces of information here but i like that even though there's one (1) father everyone kinda knows/assumes is ashe's biological father it doesn't matter because what matters is all 5 of them (for my own reference, they're called yrael, grimshall, logren, ereen and rorn) swore themselves to her mom and to raise and protect ashe and they did and they're all her dads and i just think it's neat

If I could do Fics With A Plot I'd probably attempt An AU Where Lauffey Dies And Odin Goes "Oh Hey, Frost Dudes, I Had Your Heir All Along :D He's Urs Now :D" Except Because This Is A Shit Plan It Does Not Go At All Well. Because it does bother me. Because I worry too much about fictional monarchies having the 'wrong' rules. D:

theme for 2022 was the complete deconstruction of everything i have ever perceived and valued and vivid knowledge into who I actually am free of expectation or opinions of others at the cost of feeling a severance from my family
i feel like I’ve stepped out of a shower cold and naked and shivering but clean
after nearly 30 years of eldest daughter syndrome i am here and while it is sad to realize that i have never really been known by my family and only have ever been cast into an expected role god does it feel good to know what i am and what i want
i feel like my depression and feelings of failure got cured overnight just via seeing what all my preconceived thoughts of what i wanted and desire to please would actually lead to

hi rose wilson for the ask game?
Thank you!!
Headcanon A: realistic
Trans woman Rose!!! Growing up, I think she didn’t have any disconnect in being a boy, since she was allowed to do and act how she wanted regardless of gender, and was in a very female environment. When puberty and the Gender Trouble hit, I think Lili was extremely supportive - so much of Lili’s life has been different than how she expected it to be as a sheltered minor royal all those years ago, and she didn’t get this far without being able to adapt. She loves her child more than anything, no matter what.
I think Rose has physically transitioned, and struggles with very little dysphoria now. She also doesn’t choose to disclose her identity to anyone unless she really trusts them, as is her right!
Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious
God, it’s hard to think of anything funnier than how canon Rose is.
I think she should print out a picture of Cassie to throw darts at
Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends
I think that because Rose is a young woman who is abrasive and well, Rose, people who know her assume she doesn’t want kids. In actuality, she doesn’t know, it’s not something she’s thought about and she's still young. But she loves kids, as we know from canon, she gets them and finds them genuinely interesting. Having a little girl like Lian one day…isn’t something she can let herself want. What if Rose messes up? What if she’s come too far from being that teenage babysitter who everyone trusted, what if having built up her walls she’ll become a prisoner inside of them?
Or worse, what if she does become soft and open and loving with her kid…and that weakness leads to both of them getting hurt. She knows Slade would want her kid, and other villains could hurt them, just like her kidnapping leading to her mother’s death was revenge against her father.
So yeah, she doesn’t think about it.
Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.
I think Rose should be able to hug Eddie/Kid Devil for a few moments because of her super serum, maybe feeling a bit of a sizzle like if you stand too close to a fire or have food which is just spicier than your tolerance.
