well.. ok. here's the thing:

once upon a time (many moons ago), i actually did assign Harry and James real life actors to get a better idea/handle of how i wanted to envision them. this was at a time where i was still making a lot of OCs and was using primarily PBs (aka PlayedBy's, or FC/FaceClaims for you young folk >:/ ) for their reference.

so i went actor a-hunting. now, it's pretty safe to say that the way i portray my boys do NOT align with how the actors look, but you can definitely see where inspiration comes from, LOL:

HARRY - JOSH CHARLES

and you can really see the resemblance in this much older art of GOOMT/my Harry from waaaayyy back in 2019, before I Fattened™️ Him (as well as just got a better handle on what he looked like, LOL)

as for James..... i really, REALLY love and keep this one close to my chest LOL, and i've spoken about my Big Brained Actor Assignment For James Sunderland before, but ohhh i'm always glad to bring it up again >:3c!!!

JAMES - EWAN MCGREGOR

now truth be told, my art of James never really reflected Ewan McGregor's look LOL. but GOD was he PERFECTLY JAMES in Doctor Sleep like. i lost my Mind, LOL

these days i would still shove Ewan McGregor into the role of GOOMT James, tho obv.. preferably the Younger Version of him. i honestly don't know who i'd cast these days; i really don't keep up with actors or anything anymore.

which means that the same has to be said for Harry. i definitely would Not cast Josh Charles as GOOMT Harry anymore, but i just don't know who's out there who would be a good replacement and/or match.

that said, i do have a PB for GOOMT Douglas (who also is just my Overall Douglas Portrayal) with some usual tweaks.. but hehe ;)

Hey i was wondering if help me little cuz I'm kinda lost

i want to use clip studio paint but i don't know if i need to buy pro or ex or if there is just a basic i can go with, I'm an Absolute newbie and i just make sure I'm doing this right.

you can check out what features are included in which version here!

pro is fine if you don't do a lot with multi-page work or long animations over 24 frames. it won't limit you if all you want to do is download some brushes and draw or paint.

ex comes with a couple extra bells and whistles, but unless you want those features specifically there's no need to spend extra for the ex version. pro will get the job done just fine.

#you don't HAVE to splurge on ex unless there's some feature you really want #like i want to make more animations so i have the ex version #also i get to write it off on my taxes as a business expense aaayyy

Modern Verse

General.

Things are just about the same as in canon. Hinamori and the Publishing House comes together in a package. There are obvious differences though, to fit in a modern setting. Details goes into the HCs.

Headcanons.

Despite her current age, she still lives with her parents, having choosen to stay much to the fact that she can easily settles someplace else.

In this verse, she is purely human, the dog ears & tails are just props and she exclusively wears them at home or in the vicinity of the Publishing House.

Given how busy her life turns out to be and that she prefer the outdoors, Hinamori isn't very accessible online except for having a Youtube channel, a Discord and Twitch.

Regarding her Yt channel, a multitudes of things is posted there from tailoring, to advices, a variety of tutorials and games playthroughs.

She does not keep up with other social platforms that much or intend to join any more than the mentioned ones.

Of Japanese origin with Hispanic roots. That said, she speaks and understand many other languages.

Do not be fooled, if need be, she can most definitely self defend herself, should the situation calls for it.

Much to her appearance, Hina is a lover of spicy rather than a sweet tooth. Topped with a fondness for creepy crawlies, all things that 'annoy/scare' people.

Oft times, she would take to video calls, essentially folks she becomes close with.

She has a tendency, from time to time, to pay a visit to shrines, especially the closest one from home.
