note: ahhh my tumblr hasn't been working since yesterday, it wouldn't show my blog and the app would always crash when i tried to open my notifications TwT, I'm also trying around with new point of view so don't be to harsh

Characters: Scaramouche, Kaeya, Kazuha, Ayato, Albedo

Scaramouche

Flat Earther™/j

I can see him studying Biology at University

Ei and Yae raised him together, not well, but they raised him (he is a little brat)

in his off time he probably hangs out with Kazuha, because they have been besties since Kindergarten

listen what if he's a part-time, totally underpaid, McDonald's worker, who is absolutely done with everyone's bs (that's how he met you)

he totally didn't like you at first, but you were one of Kazuha's friends and Kazuha wouldn't stop bringing you around to meet with him, so the two of you were kind of forced to hang out eith each other

don't expect any nicknames from him, or random sweet texts or phone calls, I don't think scaramouche uses his phone a lot and he prefers physical affection in the comfort of you own home more then quick texts... although he will get a little sad when u don't text him all day

he probably would take you to the cinema for dates, he doesn't enjoy movies or people, but he enjoys the dark and quietness of the cinema (he sneaks in snacks)... he probably also likes the weird feeling of entering the cinema when it's light outside and leaving when it's dark outside

I also think he would quite enjoy just sitting in his room and playing video games, i doubt he has any that the two of you can play together, but he is willing to tale turns if you desperately want to play too, he enjoys cuddling while playing video games... not like he would admit it tho

Kaeya

Kaeya lives of his dad's money, not that he's mooching of of him but he has difficulties finding a job, so he's currently building a career as a model, it kind of works... he has a bit of a following on his social media channels, but no product placements yet

listen as much as i want to make Kaeya and Diluc hate each other.... i literally can't, they just bicker like normal siblings (noone is allowed to talk shit about Diluc or Kaeya will fight them, Kaeya on the other hand is allowed to trash talk Diluc)

let's be real here, he probably wasn't the smartest kid at school, he probably nearly failed Maths or something

listen he probably speaks French, just like his father and brother, they're a very fancy family™

he probably met you while taking a photo, he was blocking your way... you asked him to move and he just sparked up a conversation with you

he tries to be cool about his little crush, but behind closed doors he is just a love sick puppy.... he probably asked his dad for advice (and maybe diluc, but diluc's advice wasn't very helpful)

congratulations you are now his personal photographer/j, no but seriously he probably takes on you very aesthetic dates so he can take pretty pictures... to be fair he has a whole folder with pictures of you :3c

he's the kind of person who texts you all the time... he would text you shit like "diluc just fell down the stairs, today will be a great day ❤️", he would probably call you in the evening before you go to sleep and then talk you to sleep

Kaeya is an outgoing person, he doesn't like just sitting around in his room, he would probably take you to a club if you're into that, if not he might just take you on a walk

Kazuha

He's a musician, probably plays music on events and has a YouTube channel where he posts his music...I can also see him having studied philosophy in university for a short time before dropping out when he realized it just wasn't his thing

he's been besties with Scaramouche since Kindergarten and he has been raised by Ningguang and Beidou

Besides english he also speaks Chinese, which was taught to him by Ningguang

You met Kazuha at a relative's Graduation, the school had paid him to perform some music there.... you thought he was pretty handsome and decided to talk to him, it went pretty well and he even gave you his number in the end

his favorite type pf dates are probably spent in his apartment, when the two of you just spend some time together and watch a movie or show... he likes the quietness but the togetherness

he is more into calling than texting, he will just text you a few lines of poetry that flew into his head, he prefers calling because he insists that your voice is his inspiration

Kazuha has probably like 2 Cats called Luna and Artemis, he is a cat person and has a fear of dogs

Ayato

Ayato is rich, like rich rich... he's from old money, his family had been wealthy for years, so kind of all he knows is rich

he has a strained relationship with his parents, since they're pushing him to take over the company... he really enjoys his time with Ayaka she's his baby sister so he kind of always puts up with her shenanigans

he probably took economic courses in school, mainly because his parents kind of pushed him into it, but also because he wants to give Ayaka the best advice he can give

You two probably met on the train, weird place to meet ppl but trust me it works, the train was FULL there was barely space to move and he asked if he could sit next to you, it was a bit of a longer train ride so the two of you started talking to make things less awkward, in the end you exchanged numbers

Ayato prefers texting over talking mainly because he has a full schedule, he send you cute little good luck texts and photos of cute cats, you know the kind with lots of a hearts and blush with a cute caption

he prefers dates at home or at least somewhere in private, he is lowkey famous/people know that he comes from money and it makes him uncomfortable when people see him out with someone because there will probably be talk of the person he is with/you only being in it for the money

Albedo

Albedo is a university student studying chemistry, he got a scholarship for his grades...he makes some extra money tutoring children in chemistry

when Albedo was young, his parents were almost never around so he was pretty much raised by Alice (she basically was his mom at this point), he actually was so excited when he found out that Klee was on the way, he wanted to be such a good big brother

he enjoys going to places by train, because he likes to look out the window, it's hard to explain but he likes to see the scenery rush past him,.... he doesn't enjoy the other people on the train tho

you net him when babysitting Klee, Albedo wasn't supposed to be Home for a few more hours so Alice hired you as a babysitter, but as it turned out that someone canceled their tutoring lesson so he got to go home early, he decided to spend time with you and help you take care of Klee until the evening, he ended up giving you his number

Albedo dislikes both texting and calling, he mush rather spends his time with you instead of longing for you when just seeing a screen, although he enjoys it when you send him cute cat pictures

he likes study dates, or if you don't go to university he enjoys just sitting in a small Café with you, Albedo loves coffee and wants to share that with you, he doesn't mind if you don't enjoy the bitterness and has no problem with ordering some hot chocolate for you

Albedo also likes babysitting Klee with you, and Klee likes being around you because she can see that you make her big brother happy

Anyways I’m all caught up now! It has some similar feelings to A Wrinkle in Time to me… but it’s been a long time since I read it so I might be misremembering. Caught the Wizard of Oz and Watership Down quotes though! That was cool. Anyways thanks a lot for the recommendation!

I’m really curious how you first heard of it, and what drew you in! I personally really like the way the artist is playing around with the medium. The stylistic contrast, even within the same panels at times, is so visually interesting! Yeah I guess I’d just like to hear what you like about it :D

I have read a Wrinkle of Time but also so so long ago so it didn't click for me but I can remember some things such as the different dimensions and that love was the thing that saves the little brother right? Just as having amour protects our dear Hero :)

And oh gosh how I heard of it? Haha I've been following the creator here on tumblr cuz of their art and stuff but it did take me a while to start tpoh tho. (Be in the right mood thing 🤧)

But wow. First of all. I immediately had many many questions when RGB asked if Hero wanted to be a hero. But she immediately said yes. No questions. Followed along this brightly colored tv-headed guy to this world above the clouds ?? So I'm curious with her. Of her. Of RGB.

Then when he started explaining that certain entities are Lies, Doubts, Fears. That they use dreams and nightmares to fight and help heal. That she can get carried away with an Idea. I fell in love with that concept of creating this world that utilizes emotions and concepts and made them tangible and representative of the world. It took me until Hero literally exclaiming what their world was for me to realize it tho lmao but my gosh doesn't that make everything so much more amazing when u think of all the elements, the characters who are realized and those searching for inspiration and waiting for their story. It's so amazing to think about.

And I am so enamored by the characters, not just Hero and RGB. I am glad the other's are still part of this story even if their time as the hero ended.

And of course the art! Ofc ofc. I agree, the way the medium is played and utilized with how it's also part of the plot! Amazing. And it's gorgeous, too!

3. what’s your favorite thing about your mutuals ?

aah, there's so many things i could say !! first of all, they're all very inspiring. whenever i see you guys on my dash, killin' it with your writing and ideas, it inspires me to be more creative. and active. i don't check my dash that often because i try to minimize my distractions during the day; but i bet if i checked it more, the inspiration would make me more active JASJAJJ. another thing i love to see is how the mutuals i have are all very supportive of each other !! liking posts, commenting, and being very warm and welcoming to each other. ; u ; i'm picky about who i follow, so i only follow the best. ;)) wink wonk

6. what’s one thing the rpc has to realize ?

most of us are over-thinkers. that thing that you are assuming about that other rp'er ( e.g. they must not like me because they didn't respond to my ask; OR they don't want to write with me because if they had they would have reached out; OR they probably think they're 2 cool for me because i don't use fancy aesthetics . . . all the thoughts we have like THAT ) are most likely not true. most things have simple explanations, and are not that deep. our anxious brains just like to overcomplicate things. : D I know that for me, if I did not want to write with someone, or if I did not like them . . . I would just unfollow them or not follow them in the first place !! it's dat simple asjjaja. so if you're mutuals, try not to worry so much about little things and overanalyze them !! if you come here & focus on having fun and exercising your creativity, and focus on that, and your friends, instead of rejections ( real or perceived ) and worrying over what you can't do and can't control . . . you will have a WAY better time! : )

13. what’s underrated in the rpc ?

touching grass. jk jk but actually only half jk. but all of the partners i have rn are people with lives outside of rp and other hobbies and stuff to do, and yes, that means we tend to be slower with our replies & all, but . .. it's so much better, ngl. it sounds stupid but fr, having a life is IMPORTANT, okay; people are less likely to get over-sensitive abt rp stuff, less likely to become overly invested to the point that replying to your threads becomes an obligation / burden instead of good fun, and it also helps lessen the over-thinking mentioned above...

when it comes to what the rpc writes tho ? hMMmm... i think continuity and single-verse stuff is kind of underrated !! like, having verses ( or even entire characters/blogs ) where everything is under ONE single timeline. so if you have a thread with Bob and in that thread, Bob chops off your characters' arm, from then on, your character has ONE ARM. periODT !! unless they get a cybernetic arm or magically regrow it, etc. . . this comes with it's own set of challenges & is PRETTY FREAKING hard to do in rp, but I think it is REALLY fun & rewarding when it works !!! i love all the twists and turns and the spontaneity of it. and if too much happens, there's no reason you can't just... reset back to the beginning!

34. what’s the best part about being in the rpc on tumblr ?

ooh for me, the best thing has been meeting a community of like-minded, similar writers : D bc yes, I’ve met plenty of other writers irl and online places besides tumblr, but… they don’t GET ME like my tumblr mutuals do ajdjsj. I rly thought I was a crazed weirdo because of how passionate I was about my characters, and how I can think about them all day & relate every little thing back to them … until I joined tumblr :’) tumblr turns a solitary, isolate hobby into something community-based, where we all collaborate and expand each other's universes, and i just genuinely think that's a really cool writer-y thing. very niche, very hard to explain to people outside our community ... but i think it's rly fun n uNIQUE. and I think I would have gone crazy if I didn’t have tumblr to scream to about character things svfdd

35. what’s the biggest problem in the rpc ?

that's a good question ... there's a lot of flaws in the rpc, but there's a lot of good things, too. there are a lot of problems that could use improving, but i don't know how to rank one as the 'WORST'. i do think that what i talked about in #6 is a possible contender for the biggest problem, because if we're all avoiding each other and too scared to talk to each other, that kills rp. but it's hard to change that and i feel like the rpc has talked about it enough. 🤷 i don't really have anything else to add or any other solutions. meh. i don't care that much either. i don't think the rpc will ever really die, so it's whatever asjjaj. ( correction: it may die on TUMBLR, but there's plenty of other places to rp if it does. roleplayers are like cockroaches; WE NEVER DIE. ) so instead, i'm going to say: THIS SHITTY ASS BETA EDITOR. I HATE THIS THING. WHAT THE FUCK. the biggest problem in the tumblr rpc is definitely that tumblr staff tries to 'fix' things that were never broken. they hate us and want us all to suffer. we are in hell, being punished for the crime of being tumblristas. i'm not one of those people who hate anytime a website has a minor ui change or whatever-- i didn't care about twitter adding 50 buttons. i'm not opposed to change if it's for innovation or a new feature or look or whatever, even if i don't personally want that feature........ but tumblr doesn't even fix anything: they replace what was there with something of inferior quality every time. how the fuck do you run a website worse than elon musk. not even muskrat has ruined the basic functionality of a text editor, tumblr....... honestly mind-boggling. > : [

"Ugh..." The raven haired female groan as her eyes adjust to the wooden wall in front of her, "do you mind not moving too much? There's not really much room here y'know🙄🙄".

"Mornin to you too rose" M said as rose giggled.

"Anyway did we get buried alive or sumn? Cause I'm pretty sure we in a coffin rn" rose said as she trace her finger along the coffin.

"I hope not, I'm feeling a little claustrophobic"

"Ho ho ho"

"ÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃ-"

Both of the girls laughed but soon stopped when they heard a noise outside the coffin.

"AAAA! You ain't supposed to be awake!" A certain annoying voice said.

"A talking...weasel?!" A disoriented voice said.

M realized instantly who those voice belongs to "god god please tell me that we got transported into twst, I'm begging you 😭😭🙏🙏 don't let this be a dream" M said as she started praying.

"OW!" M rubbed her cheek that's been pinch by the pink head "YES WE ARE IN TWISTED WONDERLAND!!" rose cheered 🎉🎉🎉.

Soon they heard footsteps running out of the room "this is the part where the mc ran outside, let's follow em" M said.

"Hmm why tho?" Rose said, "eh I just think it'll be kinda awkward when we meet the dorm leaders, and also I wanna try to stay close to the main story as possible..." M paused for a minute "and you can meet crow bitch early 🥰🥰"

"Say less ✋" rose instantly replied.

"Imma kick this door 😼😼" M said as she prepared to make the most amazing and spectacular door coffin kicking there is.

"Ok so we boutta go out there, act confused, and ask where we are, y'know what just follow my lead because I've been prepared for this😎😎" M said to rose as they hid behind the bookshelf to keep them from being seen by the Almighty twst MC, Yuu.

"Wow ur such in need of grass you even already imagine what you would do if we somehow got teleported here🤡🤡"

"🥲🥲"

"Uh...hey! Excuse me over there!" M said as she and rose came out of their hiding place, yuu turned around and their...well...uh face..? Made M and rose stopped their tracks for a second.

For explanation, I have drawn it

Basically yuu is just a blur to M and rose.

Hair, nose, ears, body, face, is all a blur except for their eyebrows and mouth.

While their voice is so disoriented, like the overblot but less scary and more combo of different human voices.

"Oh! uh me? Yes?" Yuu said as they point to themselves, "well you see we kinda don't know where we are and we're hoping YOU do?" M said with a lil innocent smile.

Then blah blah blah yuu also didn't know.

Grim showed up and "gimmie ur uniform u lil poopie human"

Crowley showed up.

Rose dies of hotness or sumn.

M is so done (lies).

And yuu is confused.

And they got dragged into the orientation.

Yuu is dormless (HA LOSER)

M in scarabia despite being magicless (which Crowley was like 😱😱😱😱 and kalim was like 😳😀😃)

Rose in octavinelle despite also being magicless ( Rose: AAAAAAAAAAAA. Octotrio: wtf-)

hello its me again !! yesterday I told you I followed u bc of your love for jaemin and your funny humour but today I want to add something else, and thaTS YOUR AMAZING WRITING SKILLS !!

i just finished reading the masterpiece that is Top of the world and I'm so shaken up by the excellence of the rich vocabulary, the sentence structure and just the way you wrote the various events that happened. I'm such at a lost of words to express what I feel you have no ideas, I will never recover from the high quality of this story. it couldn't have been better than that what you delivered and I'm just so so relieved to have been able to live this amazing experience of reading such an outstanding story. I'm sorry maybe you're thinking im showering you in too much compliments but you deserves to be praised for having written Top of the world.

I will always be amazed with how people who write are able to wrote down their imagination and wow, im still shaking like.. Im so impressed by you you have no ideas 🙈

moving on, this is the first time ever since I'm reading nct fics on tumblr that I came across this characterization of jaemin, and it is a real take of fresh air in the best way possible even tho he's really such an asshole like wow the popularity did go too high in his head I was so scandalized (in a good way lmao it made me amazed) with how an ass he was and like the way he ordered around jisung ???? djjdjffjhf I- I wanted to punch jaemin so hard 😤 I wanted to dive into the story and beat his ass lmaooo im sure you too, like I was rolling around in my bed bc I couldn't stay still and laying down without reacting ㅠㅠ

I dont know at what length of words the ask can tolerate but let me tell you something before I forgot ! I realized that every situations/events you wrote had a purpose, like you didn't wrote basic actions that we would pass over without much attention, and bc of that you held our attention during the 15.6k of words and it was so much overwhelming I couldn't stop reading just to breathe lol, you kept me going for so long and I really liked it im so sad that I lived this experience and I couldn't live it again *sobs* this is so revolting I want to pat your head you did so so well 🥺

alsooooo, when you introduced yn's character in the beginning, I was kinda afraid that he would bully her physically you know, like I couldn't imagining you daring to write him being more than despicable than he was but thanks god that wasn't what I imagined fjdjfj, the way he exercised his 'dominance' towards someone he didn't know just for a seat lmao, wow he got some real balls ?¿ I was scandalized a lot fjjfjffj but I was curious too about jeno's character in the story, he was so chill (I think?) about yn's being involved with jaemin from the start and I was expecting him to be an asshole to her just like jaem, u know ? could we know your motives about jeno's character in the story ? why didn't you wrote him like jaemin?

I will speed up a little fjfjj or else I will write you 6 pages of my thoughts lmao

but yeah !! so, I really liked the contrast between how we perceived yn's outside facade and inside, like when he make her kneels in front of him, you made us look at her from jaemin's view and how she looked not so bothered by his behavior and then you switched the second after into yn's point of view and how she tried to not show her emotions... *mind blowing* 🤯 not gonna lie, I was rotting for her to not let him mess with her head but instead her doing that to him and it kinda worked fjfjfjf and then I knew the moment he was surprised about the non effect he had on her that it was the start of his fall anD I WASN'T A SECOND DISAPPOINTED

I FUCKING LOVED THE BLOSSOMING REALTIONSHIP BETWEEN THE TWO OF THEM anD the slight graduation of jaemin's becoming soft to her oh my god I had hearts in my eyes. I loved every moments of this story (I loved the entire 15.6k words of it, I cherished them), but the pool scene toward the end made me go feral for a lot of minutes like the picture you implanted in my head of him in the water made me post all my thoughts (also blonde jaemin? as in, make a wish jaemin?, god I hope bc fucking damn, he was so so so hot)

I was so emotional at the end, they got together and just, being the witness of jaemin's character development was breathtaking, I couldn't stop thinking about how smooth you made it for his character development during all the story, it wasn't forced or too quick...

It was perfect

omg.... [CLUTCHES HEART]. help oh my god first of all thank you ??? for leaving such a LONG long review omg ???? made my entire day ?? week ??? HQGSBWJ IN SUMMARY THANK U AND I LOVE U FOR THIS AAAA i really appreciate it when people just ramble abt my works it just makes my drive go ⬆⬆⬆ yanno HHHH.

when i was first writing this is was like "oh gosh....is it....okay to turn jaemin this much of a dick?? IS IT??" like i was so SURE people wouldn't like this characterization of him but i literally got the reverse 😭 never expected anyone to jump with me on my asshole richkid jaemin agenda bUT HERE WE ARE....IT BEING MY MOST POPULAR FIC YET HAHSJ. i both hate and love this kind of jaemin and yes i definitely wanted to drag him down from his high horse while writing (at the same time....i will let him drag me around as he pleases too 😳).

i'm very gratified that u think its cohesive and each scene has a purpose because to be honest i didn't fuckin know where to go with this entire fic at first LMAO i was just in a richkid jaem brainrot after talking abt it too much with my friend and this was....the result 🕴.

as for jeno oh mr. jeno lee....HAGSNSK to be honest, as this fic wasn't rlly that deeply planned HAHA, i just wanted a contrast to jaemin's personality LMAO if he had the same personality as jaems....insanely egotistical god complex and all.....i think this would have turned out to be a love triangle AHAHS GM SKW. bUT— but hehe. i have another richkid fic in the dusty corners of my google docs rn. a 00’ line fic in fact HAHA so totw jaemin and jeno will be making a comeback here (ofc this is an entirely different universe but their characterizations are essentially the same HEHEHEHEHEH).

Tumblr really keeps doing it but I visit ur blog daily so it's fine ig, but yeah hellsite (just half affectionate, but I love it here tho) and I was just casually coming here to check and I didn't expect to cry about clingy duo today, nice, it has been a while,,,, but the song is so good omg I should have guessed when I saw the bunch of sleeping at last u recomend but the chorus IS LIKE. REALLY REALLY NICE, I really like the song lmao really adding it to my playlist rn but yeah, I would LOVE to hear ur thoughts about it. Like, the "other" and "against him", it's dream right? I love the last paragraph u translated specifically bc it describe the exile arc so damn well tbh! Idk if that's the case since it's just a translation but the first verse seems like it's more like questions and the last one he's SO SURE of it bc of the "I know" and "way less" DAMN IT. The tears. sleeping at last have been one of my favorite artists for a while and every time i come back to listen to their music i just relate more songs to the characters i like sghsd and it’s like that pretty much with every album i enjoy- i listen to it again and then boom. i associate a song with a character. and yeah! the ‘other’ can be both seen as like an unknown in general or as a person and the following lines just make me go yup c!dream. and yeah!! the first verse ends with questions and uses ‘trochę mniej’ which is ‘a little less’ and the last verse uses confirmations that he knows and is sure that what he’s saying is true and it’s paired with ‘znacznie mniej’ in comparison to the previous use of ‘a little’ it confirms that there will be significantly less of him when he leaves the other person. it just describes the clingy duo too fucking well especially when you remember the ‘what am i without you?’ like. god! pliocene gives me wilbur in limbo vibes specifically. just the repetitive chorus and the dancing with the sea unable to wake up.. yeah. and east is one of my favorites and i was just listening to it one day and was like. hold up. and now it destroys me even more! nine just really makes me think about how ranboo finds a place to belong and people to protect in tubbo and michael and just finding himself you know!! and i just realized every song i relate to tommy just creates more angst dghsj and don’t worry about the length of the asks!! i talk just as much so it’s really not a problem!!
