oooh this is very interesting ! ofc as a fic writer it’s easy to get bogged down by stats and interactions and all of that so it’s easier said than done to say that stuff doesn’t matter ! but i Am trying to care less abt it so personally i just rly love when someone says a fic means something to them! like it made them laugh on a bad day or they rly connected w a character in it or maybe they just needed some comfort! i just Love knowing that ppl r finding joy in my fics bc that’s pretty much the reason i write them for myself and decide to share in the first place !!

oooohohoho ok so it’s only been recently that i’ve even started working on more than one fic at a time bc i like to finish an entire fic and then get rly into another so i don’t have any that are fully Scrapped ! just set aside,, Indefinitely 🤸 i have had an idea for a companion piece to my first chaptered fic (i’ve come home, i’m so cold) for a While but what i have so far is very similar to my sickfic so i’d probably have to rewrite it if i ever resurrected it LOL but maybe someday i will ! i feel like it could fit rly well in between ichisc and my sickfic so . it’ll work out eventually! probably!

1. Definitely my family! My mum is my best friend and greatest source of encouragement and inspiration, and my cats are what you might call muses.
2. Literature of any kind, be it my own writing, novels, poetry, song lyrics, screenplays, any and all of it! I especially love adventure stories, where reading is concerned, although I’ll write just about anything.
3. My hyperfixations are something that brings me great joy as well. My Hero Academia, Wings of Fire, Five Nights at Freddy’s(and it’s accompanying fan creations), Steven Universe, and soooo many countless others! I can get very attached to whatever I’m into and end up talking and thinking about nothing else for weeks!
4. Walking, funnily enough! I don’t consider myself a sporty person at all, but sometimes all I need to chill out is some good scenery and my playlist on shuffle.
5. Candles and crystals is my final happy thing! I wouldn’t say I’m particularly spiritual, either, but the kinds of items associated with spirituality make me really calm and happy.

Hey beansy, Im running d&d game right? I got my players on a quest to retrieve a part of the legendary "Scythe of love" but like I have no idea what that is or what it does, gimme some ideas please!
well, the very first thing it made me think of was that it kind of sounded like a magical girl weapon. almost like something sailor saturn would use actually. but it could be something that kind of plays with that idea in some way? since it’s a scythe of love maybe it like. idk. rips the hate out of people or something idk i’d have to think a bit more about that
alternately, it doesn’t actually have any real value as a weapon it’s just got a lot of sentimental value because it was given to the grim reaper by their one true love

“Erm, just an orange juice maybe. I’m doing a dry January,” Demelza mumbled, trying her best to sound casual. “Ross and I both,” she added quickly. She looked anxiously to the door wishing Ross would return from parking the car. She could use a little courage right now and since she couldn’t seek it in a glass, she’d need to lean on him today.
“Oh, right then,” Prudie nodded her head for a moment as she took in what she’d just been told, then waiting only a few beats, threw her head back in a full-fledged cackle. “Dry January, my arse! An’ just when were you goin’ to tell me? You think ole Prudie wouldn’t know? What are you, three months forward? No, must be four--yer face is as puffy as a trigger fish!”
“A what?” Demelza stammered, although not really surprised that the woman had put two and two together. She’d been able to detect the last time--even before Demelza herself had known.
“You en’t a pudge, mind,” Prudie said. “Not in yer belly at least.”
“You mean not yet,” Demelza couldn’t contain a smile. It was too late to deny anything. The cat was most certainly out of the bag.
“Forget this dry shite--you know they say a good stout will make yer milk come in. An’ with those beansy tits of yours, you’ll need all the help you can get, girl.”

Hey 👋🏽 any thoughts on Manny’s latest interview? Theories on what can possibly force Rio’s hand to work with Beth? Thoughts on no physical contact ever (the ever part makes me laugh, like sure sir sure)😬
Do I have any thoughts??? Probably more than you want to hear - including that I thought it was fascinating that Manny apparently didn’t know until he got the script that Rio would be shot which is something. But overall I thought this was a really great article and I am honestly thrilled to see Manny (and the other men) get more press this season (interview linked here in case anyone hasn’t seen it already).
So I’ll jump right in with Manny’s seemingly controversial comment of “I really hope they don’t go back to having any physical contact. I just feel that would make Rio look weak. This woman shot him three times. No matter what the situation, there’s no coming back from that. We can be cordial and coexist, but I don’t think they should ever do anything again.”
And honestly I have to agree with him, the same way I agreed with Christina when she made the comment recently that Beth shouldn’t have slept with Rio. These two probably never should have had sex and even before Beth shot Rio any relationship (sexual or non) between the two of them was pretty problematic.
Now you can take his comment about Rio looking weak a couple ways - I don’t know if I love his choice of the word weak. Does it make Rio flawed? Definitely. But let’s also think about it this way - before Rio and Beth had sex the first time Rio had been violent with Beth, shot her husband, manipulated her, used her, etc. Do we think Beth was weak for sleeping with Rio? And yes what Beth did and what Rio did are two different levels of fucked up, but I think it’s an interesting point that none of us ever mention.
So do I think this means that Beth and Rio won’t sleep with each other in season three? No I don’t. Manny is entitled to think that Beth and Rio shouldn’t sleep with each other, but just because that’s his opinion on their relationship doesn’t mean that will be reflected in the story. Also this cast is known for misdirecting in interviews.
Plus this comment? “It’s this weird thing. No matter what the situation is, there’s always going to be the sexual tension there” combined with how much Matthew Lillard and the marketing team has been pushing Beansie really makes me think that there is going to be some significant Brio development this season.
As for what makes Beth and Rio work together - if you had asked me last night before 3x01 aired I would have said probably Turner. But that theory has been shot down (pun intended).
However, I do think Turner is a clue to what brings Beth and Rio back together.
Rio didn’t immediately kill Turner after everything that happened in 2x13, instead he leveraged him to take care of the other gangs in and around Detroit. And once that was done and Turner wasn’t useful to him anymore he finally took care of his problem.
At this point Beth owes a massive debt to Rio - from the check Rhea gave her to pay the mortgage, the failed drop Annie and Ruby did in 2x10, hell Rio could make her pay for his medical costs, the months of missed work, etc. There’s no way Rio is going to get rid of Beth until she’s paid him back what is his, which makes sense seeing as how Beth is clearly doing drops again with one of Rio’s boys in the season three trailer.
So this makes them “work” together again, but what brings them together is something I think was foreshadowed in 2x08 where Rio mentions the prospect of a turf war. Like I said last night after the episode aired Turner’s death (and seeming departure of the FBI) this early in the season makes me believe we are going to see more of the crime world open up and right now I’m leaning towards the idea that a rival gang target Rio, and Beth by default, in a bid for power or revenge after Turner busted their operations.
All I know is 3x01 destroyed a lot of my theories - so I am excited to see how this season actually plays out!

ben considers himself an authority on lying. he’s great at it, he does it often. therefore, he thinks he knows when other people are doing it to him. there’s a hefty pause on his end, while he chews his inner cheek and wonders if it’s worth it to say anything or not. the extended silence from him shouldn’t be a surprise, which is how he knows she won’t question it when he suddenly resumes with a huff and then a deep sigh. “whatever.”
