Due to me just recently reading the new Boruto manga chapter I’ll be using whatever free time I have to finally figure out how to draw not only Mitsuki but also Boruto because that shit hurt-

After chapter 79, I've been wondering if Himawari has been. Affected.. I'm guessing and hoping she isn't but it'd be depressing for her either way.

If she isn't affected then she'll have to watch the entire village go against her only remaining family and see everyone standing with the person who caused the tragedy.

If she is affected then in her pov kawaki is her older brother so she'll probably be very betrayed and sad and will cry etc making kawaki feel guilty because we all know kawaki has a soft side for hima. Hima might also whine and tell kawaki why Boruto did this when they were all so good and kind to him, that hima ALWAYS considered him family and yet now he wants to hunt down kawaki. Well here she's talking about kawaki but in her mind kawaki is Boruto and kawaki knows this so kawaki will feel more and more guilt and yet there is nothing he can do to console her.

I feel like hima's story will be full of angst :(

OMG... I feel the same way... Things will turn out depressing for Hima either way...

I'm still hoping that Hima remains unaffected (it may be related to the "power" that Daemon felt from her), but yes... This is a lose-lose situation for Hima... 😭😭😭

I feel so bad for our Sunshine siblings...

I also feel so bad for Naruto and Hinata... They definitely didn't want their babies to go through something like this! 😭💔

We might partly still blame Kawaki but he (or any of them for that matter) wouldn't be in this situation if it weren't for those Otsutsukis...

It's becoming increasingly likely Eida has rewritten reality by alternating memories, and Eida turning almost everyone in Konoha against Boruto in order to maybe get closer to Kawaki.

Since Sarada is not affected by Eida, I hope Sakura, Himiwari, Kakashi, Orochimaru, Sumire and Hanabi aren’t brainwashed as well.

Friendly reminder that neither Eida nor Kawaki knew what Omnipotence even was and they activated it completely by accident.

Even after it activated, Kawaki had no idea what was happening. It even took Eida a second to realize.

Plus, we know that Eida has no control over Omnipotence.

She seems to genuinely regret what happened afterwards.

Guys neither of them knew this power existed let alone how to use it. The whole life swap thing was completely unintentional and out of their control. Say what you will about Eida and Kawaki but they’re both totally innocent in regards to this event. :/

Aside from the Kawaki's trolling, Boruto manga is still mediocre. They use tricks from Naruto's storyline but make it so fast and so exaggerated that it becomes comical. We used to have Ninjutsu, so now you have Otsutsukis absorbing any ninjutsu and destroying planets... Oh wait! now you have shinjutsu a type of God-like power... Oh wait! now your have Shibai the God Of Otsutsuki who had ascended to heaven... Oh wait! and now you have Ada using the power up of the power up. She's omniscient, she sees everything anywhere in the planet, everyone love her and her secret power is stronger than any Ostusuki's powers to change the whole goddam storyline at anytime 😂.

And it's only chapter 79, I don't know how far they want to go but it's already so hyperbolic it makes no sense at all. Virtually all characters are useless aside : Boruto, Kawaki, Sarada, Sumire, Code, Bugs, Ada, Daemon, maybe Himawari... oh wait! did I say that the 5 years old Himawari who had never been trained as a shinobi is already giga-mega powerful? Stronger than the strongest cyborg of Borutoverse himself being a 6 years old child ? Don't laugh it's true🤣. Himawari is already a supernova without any training, Denki is probably the future hokage of Konoha without any skills in fighting and Boruto most likely God/Shiva/Horus/Pacha Mama/Jupiter incarnated. Anytime the scenario is blocked they are going to pop up a new overpowered character out of thin air with a new ex machina jutsu-of-the-jutsu-cosmically-divine-never-seen-before.

I'm telling you this sh**t is going into intergalactic fights and time travelling, and there is nothing you can do to stop them. They've opened the door to rewrite any part of Naruto era if they want to. I hope you're ready for the canon Naruto to be entirely destroyed!

Just saw the spoilers for the latest Boruto Chapter and I've just got one question

WHAT THE FUCK?!

Ladies, gentlemen, and everyone in between,

You've heard of the Deus ex Machina trope, where a godly power never before seen comes in to save the day. This is a prime example of Diabolus ex Machina, where divine powers break the laws of reality itself in order to point at the protagonist and say "fuck you in particular."

Eida’s powers

First of all, since when can she fly? Probably since long ago, but since this wasn’t hinted earlier at all, it makes it seem like the authors just do what they please without any concern paid to logic. Yes, other Kara members can fly too, but Kawaki and Daemon can’t, so it’s not like it’s some standard ability among Kara members. In other words, it’s a bad move from the authors.

EDITED: Okay so it was pointed out to me that she flies in the chapter where she arrives in Konoha. I went and checked, and she does indeed clearly fly in chapter 74. Sorry for the confusion. ^^

That does bring me another question though: why was Eida given this ability, yet Daemon wasn’t?

As for this stronger, true form of Eida’s power that we were introduced to from the beginning, this one makes much more sense. Overpowered, yes, but it doesn’t feel like it was pulled out of nowhere nearly as much as the flight -ability does.

In any case, this might be what the first scene of the anime and manga is about. Maybe Kawaki didn’t betray Konoha; maybe in that scene, everyone is still under Eida’s influence, and Konoha just happens to get wrecked when Boruto and Kawaki fight. When Kawaki says that he’ll send Boruto where Lord Seventh is, he says so because he made everyone think Naruto’s dead, and knows that someone is or might be listening.

Despite the turn of events being a little weird, it does make things interesting... also, were Naruto and Hinata affected? I would think not, since they were locked in to a separate universe (or something.) Imagine if they broke out and saw what’s going on!

And daaaayyumm... I'm loving and yet also hating the new twist in the story.

But I have so many questions now... Though I know eventually those will be answered as the story progresses... I'm mainly wondering now which ones still remain unaffected...

Like, is Sumire still immune? How about Hima? Would it also affect Naruto and Hinata? And I'm also wondering that if Sasuke is affected and yet Sarada wasn't, does that mean their Uchiha bloodline has nothing to do with it? 🤔
