I need to tell you all about my dnd character so here we are. Variant human cavalier with the chef feat and the only one in the party with a +5 persuasion.

Her name is Tessele Dunwood, a twenty year old human fighter who is trying to raise enough money to rebuild her family’s inn/home after it was burned down. Her twin, Esvele, is at university studying to be a wizard but magic isn’t something Tessa is any good at.

The magic of stories though, of sellswords and adventure, always enchanted her but her parents strictly forbid her from training with any of the knights or adventurers that passed through. Instead, she helped look after her siblings, the horses, the kitchens, everything at the inn she could do. And she liked it, talking to customers and minding the horses or food, but she yearned for more.

So, when a man, an elf named Ancar who knew how to fight and cast magic, offered to teach her how to fight in exchange for setting up a meeting between him and her parents, she agreed immediately. He asked to buy the inn and they refused to sell.

But he was in town for a while and Tessa couldn’t figure out magic but took to the training and to him. Ancar asked a few more times if they would sell and was refused each time.

One day, working the kitchen, a fire broke out and that’s where Tessa’s memory gets fuzzy. Her parents told her she raised the alarm and rushed everyone out before going back in to save two children and their dog who had been trapped inside. She has the burns on her back to prove this but doesn’t recall and can’t recall exactly how the fire started but it was hot enough to burn their stone inn down.

Esvele came back to help look after their family but warned her that she shouldn’t stick around, that because of her relationship with Ancar and the fire, Tessa was to blame. Tessa was told that until she comes back with the six thousand gold necessary to rebuild, she shouldn’t come back at all.

So with some hand me down equipment from the town, and her parent’s mule, Loretta, she has set out for the adventure she always dreamed of and it has left bitter ash in her mouth.

Draghull Rosznar - gold dragonborn, formerly the most Lawful Good paladin you could possibly image (no swears! no stealing! no fun!). Currently the most charismatic samurai fighter/zealot barbarian level 19 has ever seen. likes big swords, hates evil. recently married Esvele Rosznar, of Waterdeep fame, so now he’s technically Waterdhavian nobility. high wis, low int, the ultimate himbo played by one of the smartest guys I know (who also curses my dice but that’s another story).

Izzak Stormborn - also known as Izaak Stormborn, because he never spells his name right twice. blue dragonborn monk/rogue, which is the most BROKEN COMBO EVER. multi-attack + sneak attack + stunning strike = RIP my monsters. both the best dad ever and the most deadbeat dad in existence. has a wife, leaves her on a different continent so the plot can’t catch her. stealthiest man alive, also very VERY dumb. will backflip off a monster given half the chance. has the highest AC known to man. immune to poison and so he WILL put absolutely anything in his mouth.

Owyn Merrydyn - human wizard and biggest nerd in Faerun. daddy issues, by which I mean his dad is a lich. does not care if the other boys are in range of the fireball or the lightning bolt, because they’re both resistant so it’s fine. one time he disintegrated Jarlaxle Baenre (he got better), and one other time he disintegrated Manshoon (he did not). currently dating the former assassin who was hired to kill him. technically a transmutation wizard by way of ‘fireball is transmutation because it transmutes not-on-fire to on-fire’

The Guild

so one time the gang were fucking about in the Tomb of the Nine Gods, aka Acererak’s Super Happy Fun Time Dungeon. and for reasons i do NOT fucking remember they started larping as OSHA inspectors to try and?? decieve the dwarves there?? or Withers?? i don’t know, either way, they had minor illusioned clipboards and hi-vis and when i went ‘alright chucklefucks, what does OSHA stand for in this fantasy world we’ve constructed?’ they went:
