It's a funny little callback sometimes, but for him, it's just that people don't know what else to give him. He hasn't even been OCified!!! (OCified as in a fanon version of himself has become widely known and accepted over the canon character i.e. Grian being an avian, Scar being ridiculously buff, Jimmy being a canary etc etc)
I understand why people would be hesitant to make him some sort of hybrid like most other members, but he doesn't have to be a hybrid to be OCified! For example, although Martyn also tends to be elf-like or sometimes something monster-related, he's widely regarded as a Listener! And guess what? BigB was also in EVO!

I desperately want and NEED to see BigB with non-cookie related designs. Can he have little stuff hinting towards the cookie thing? Of course! That's part of his character! Just PLEASE add on literally ANYTHING ELSE.
BigB with 4c (read it again, FOUR-C) hair with shaved sides and a heart shaved into one side. Same hairstyle but the sides are braided back and one of the sides has a heart braided into it.
Cottagecore BigB with mohawk braids that go back into a bun with that little bandana headband on! Imagine he's in friendly floral clothing holding a bouquet of flowers, and the center of the flowers look vaguely like eyes but everything else about him looks so typical you barely notice at first glance because he's totally Normal(tm) and completely unaffected by Evo as opposed to literally everyone else.
Please give BigB a new outfit. That sweater is TIRED. Let it REST. Give him literally ANYTHING ELSE.
Give him a fucking corset idk! A dress! Ball gown! Spacesuit! My Chemical Romance merch! LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE.

personal style inspired by Lucy Westenra
Bram Stoker’s classic brought many iconic characters that continue to inspire fashion and art to this day, one of them being Lucy Westenra. Set in 1890’s, her look was based on late Victorian fashion. Described as soft and sweet, her style is very feminine and modest at first, but as her character changes into a deadly vampire, so does her style evolve into a more dark romantic look. To translate that into a personal style, it’s a perfect inspiration to bring both contrasting sides into one single creative and ethereal aesthetic.
I would keep the classic and feminine pieces and softness of colours as base, and mix it with modern, more relaxed cuts and details, as well as accessories and jewelry that add a little bit of edge and pop of colour for that gothic and vampiric element. Waist is usually emphasised/cinched while silhouette is rich on top or bottom. It can be achieved by combining pieces such as long ruffled skirts of sleeves, or lace and lightweight sheer fabrics like organza/chiffon, with lined and harsher pieces like corsets and bodices. Layering over with items that resemble lingerie, slip dresses and nigh gowns also incorporates well into this style. What kind of haircut does the emperor have??👀
the emperor, yongsun, has long, straight dark hair that reaches midback! he usually keeps it in a simple, loose braid that is tied off with a coloured silk ribbon.
this is very different from the usual hairstyle for men in hae - his hairstyle is closer to that of an unmarried woman. as for why he chose it... it's practical and he likes the way that it looks. it's all about the ✨aesthetic✨, you know? only the emperor could get away with doing something like this.
the empress has her hair in twin braids that are done up into a bun, held up by hairpins with dragon or floral motifs. her hairdo is that resembling a married woman, which stresses the nobles out to no end since they need her to get married as quickly as possible. she likes it that way.

The Style of Evolution of (then) Lady Elissa Wilkes/Crown Princess Elissa, the Duchess of Bilchester (King's Day Edition)
In 2010, the future Crown Princess, Lady Elissa Wilkes, who would go on to marry Crown Prince Richard later that fall, made her King's Day parade debut, riding in her own solo carriage at the back of the procession in a blue floral dress and white hat with blue florals.
In 2011, while expecting the future Queen, Anastasia, the Duchess of Bilchester wore a light green polka dotted dress, white cardigan and a white hat for her first King's Day as an official member of the Royal Family and as Crown Princess.
In 2012, she wore what many people have voted as their least favorite Royal outfit (the dress of which she would later go on to wear as a simple engagement dress), the Crown Princess was joined on the balcony for the first time with Princess Anastasia, who did join her mother in the carriage because of her young age.

Random Azuma hair headcanons
Azuma's hair is simultaneously really satisfying to braid and an utter pain
Like, it's really smooth, beautiful to brush. But also, he moves too quickly and the hair tie slips, causing his hair to fall all over the place. Sometimes it's really attractive. Sometimes it's just a mess.
Azuma's hair looks really good with tinsel and thread
His hair color is just perfect for making other hues really pop and stand out. Plus, the glittery effect matches his fae-like vibe. Mankai Beauty love trying different combinations out to see which ones they like the best. A rainbow chrome tinsel that almost blends in with his natural color ranks high on the list.
Some roles require Azuma to have super neat hair or consistent updos and that means lots of hairspray
Like I said above, Azuma's hair texture makes it hard for accessories to stay in place. While readjusting is fine in casual settings, onstage is not necessarily the best place to be remaking a bun. Especially with Winter Troupe focusing on drama and tragedy, where the emotional beats are so prominent. Therefore, before most shows, Azuma can be found, hair done, Azami spraying it into place. Afterwards, he can be found in the shower, taking great care to gently ease his hair back to its natural state.
Azuma prefers ponytails to buns
While buns are often more practical for heavy action, keeping the hair up and out of the way more efficiently than ponytails, they aren't Azuma's favorite hairstyle. When done too tight, they can cause headaches, and besides that, Azuma actually finds the sensation of his hair length comforting. Ponytails allow him to feel the weight of his hair, while keeping it out of his face and way.
Azuma's hair smells amazing all the time
This is mostly a side effect of the various products he uses to take care of it, but Azuma's hair has a unique floral aroma that is a major part of his own iconic scent. It's very calming and a common thing for clients of his to comment on.

black mini-skirts (tight skirts r so cute)
plaid skirts!

floral shirts
floral tank tops
jeans (mom jeans, ripped jeans, just not jeggings lol)
basic sweaters (neutral colors)
floral dresses
form fitting shirts (idk how to describe them but they're so cute)
matching pajama sets
acessories:
gold or silver jewelry (pick whichever one is more flattering for your complexion)
gold/pearl necklaces
dainty bracelets
personally i love a lot of little rings :)
hairstyles:
personally i don't do much with my hair- sometimes a messy bun at night, or a claw clip when i'm working

building an outfit:
start with basics, stuff you can layer
its good to have ONE thing that stands out- like an acessory or just something that is the main piece of your outfit
when you're finding your style i recommend having some sort of pinterest board to build a moodboard of what you like. start with styling basic items (like simple colors and pieces) and explore what makes you the most confident. the coquette aesthetic is whatever you want, and you can mix other styles into it to create your own distinct look!

What’s your favorite Tessa’s hairstyle in competition? I really love when she had her front hair braided and the rest loose in waves on her shoulders!
And what’s your favorite accessory? I don’t like particularly necklaces incorporate in the dress…
I dont know if i could pin it down to one so here’s a few faves:
I didnt like thin/unvolumised pony tails for their latin in 2011/12. I also didnt really like the low, messy bun for DALD (only thing i dont like abt that program). For Latch i prefer the pony tail, i really liked the choice of a pony tail for Carmen- it matched the modern style really well. I think The Seasons one with S in the red shirt is what you mean by the braid in front with flowing curls- i adore that shes incredibly stunning in that style. I also really like the high bun for the seasons- however only for the dresses she had the high bun for- it would not have worked with the floral pink or green dress. Something about the high bun for both Funny Face and Waltz (at worlds) i didnt really like- i think they were quite stiff buns whereas The Seasons one is softer and more princess-y.
Theres a few here with different takes on a side twist into a bun (mahler, waltz, MR). Its funny she said once in the comeback she tends to do quite simple hair styles, yet in the past she had had some very detailed ones..
Hair style really does depend on the program- its not necessarily a matter of what i like overall. A hair style for The Seasons would not work for MR, so these are all my faves in relation to each program.
As for accessories this comes to mind:
She had a pink flower earlier in the season but this matches her red hair much better.
As for necklace/necklaces part of costumes.. again it depends and if it suits the program, if the dress is made well. I guess an example is her Funny Face dress.. in that case i think it really works. The one she wore for their Charleston - the chunky diamond one i think was a bit too big for her- she was so tiny back then it was a bit overwhelming, a thinner one might’ve been better

Ranking Ikemen MCs Outfits (Standard Vs Idols)
I feel like playing fashion critic today.
First, I will rank their everyday outfits~
Everyday Outfits
4TH PLACE: MITSUKI (Ikemen Vampire)
This outfit invokes within me, pure revulsion. At first, I was like "That is really boring, I would not be seen in that" but the more I look at it the more I hate it. Like, ughhhh, what a waste of potential. Girl, you in the Victorian Era, why you dressed like that?
If I had a hot super rich vampire who thrived on spoiling me, you better believe I am strutting out in a different dress everyday. Paris would be my runway.
Maybe she's going for the "girl next door" look but then she should gone for a cuter top to go with the skirt. Maybe something with ruffles like THIS
To make it more interesting...
But nooooo...
If she was conservative, so be it but she's NOT. So the outfit is even less necessary and all around....blegh.
Conclusion: The outfit is bland as hell, the hair ribbon isn't helping, the shoes are trash. Thus it is a blegh outfit. Her saving grace is her wavy hair, cause I love wavy hair.
3RD PLACE: ALICE (Ikemen Revolution)
Ok so... suspenders....hm...suspender dresses don't work very often for me, especially not ones with long suspenders. They're offensive but...they don't look like they're good for much. They look ready to snap at the slightest inconvenience. The top is what Mitsuki should be wearing. Relatively simple, considering she is from Victorian England, but cute. The ribbon looks a little weird, like the designers couldn't decide whether it should be a bow or a scarf. The brooch is pretty, though it doesn't look like it really needs to be there. The skirt is very pretty, the design is princessy and girly and the frills are not overdone. The color scheme is a little...dull, especially with the dark over skirt...it could afford to be a little livelier. That said...the hair. Pretty standard, just like the other MCs. at least hers has a braid? I guess...
Conclusion: It isn't AWFUL just...a little dull for such a lively young woman...
2ND PLACE: MAI (Ikemen Sengoku)
Now this is a very cute outfit. Nice shade of pink, love the floral design on it, the splash of red from the obi (is that what it's called?) adds a nice touch, it's a fairly simple, clean look. There isn't much to say about it, apart from the rope belt with the red beads is cute too. It doesn't exactly say "princess" of anything tbh, BUT she is also a chatelaine right? So she does need to be a bit more practical...Points though for a slightly different hairstyle. Two cute braids while the rest is loose...not a world of difference, but it does sort of set her apart from the other MCs.
Conclusion: It's a pretty kimono, it suits her and the pink flowers make me happy.
1ST PLACE: EMMA (Ikemen Prince)
Emma hands down is the prettiest MC of the four and part of that is because she has the best everyday outfit. Not too much, not too little. The collar is really cute and I love the corset with gold accents and the blue and red looks pretty on her without her looking like the American flag. I will voice my discontent that her Hairstyle is...the most boring of all the MCs. It's like all of theirs, but it's just a bun...literally not much else is different. It suits her but...meh.
Conclusion: Simple but pretty enough to be noticeable. Practical and kinda elegant too.
Idol Outfits~
4TH PLACE: ALICE
Easily Alice is the cutest here. Pigtails? That's already two points. This is a pigtail-loving zone. That little touch of pink lipstick make her look so soft and pretty, the suitors won't be able to stop kissing her💋. The dress looks so beautiful on her, she looks like a fairytale princess, bonus for the shorter black skirt.
I have to admit, I am not a fan of that color. Normally, seafoam makes me SICK, but she actually rocks it tbh, especially with the light splashes of magenta and pale blue roses blending with it.
Those earrings tho....😬
Tassels on jewelry are a no-no in my book. And those earrings look like a last second add on, cause they do not go too well with the choker and the little gems on her dress. They don't ruin the look but...mm, not great at all.
Speaking of the choker...I'm a sucker for chokers and the gems match her eyes great.
Conclusion: She is a pretty princess, which is to be expected, she is the "lady" of the 4 and I would LOVE for this to be the standard look. I feel like if she started singing, the most soothing voice would come out of her...maybe she would sound like Ariana Grande?
3RD PLACE: EMMA
Oo, she looks greaaaat in dark blue with all the gold and ruffles, the pants are so Girl Boss💅 to me...though....the hair is a bit meh. It's not bad at all, just a little underwhelming to me. I also wish there was more colors other than blue here. Maybe if the gems and earrings were pink or yellow, she would be more striking? Or maybe add a dash of violet to the pants? Or have the inside top be lilac? The scarf looks a little out of place, it doesn't really go with the rest of the outfit but...I actually kind of like it? The only other reason Emma isn't higher is because the top 2 are top tier👀
Conclusion: She may be Belle, but she looks like a badass version of Cinderella👠 and I'm here for it. She looks like a singer with a powerful voice like...Christina Aguilera?
2ND PLACE: MAI
Ayee, check out the Princess of Azuchi👀
She looks amazing! I'm a sucker for hair streaks, and she comes out here rocking red in that ponytail (Is it a ponytail? I think it's a ponytail). I think its really cute she still sports her signature braids even in a different style, so it's still very Mai. Now...the outfit itself, at first glance I thought it was a bit much, but it actually works. She actually reminds me of Keiji with all the colors. Flashy but it looks good. She doesn't do red too often, but she looks fire in it with all the gold and purples. I love the mismatched earrings cause...well because they're pretty and it's a bit rebellious. Black nails...take a special kind of person to pull them off without looking too dark...and she has managed it. I also like the flowers in her hair...except for that really big white one. It looks a little awkward and might be overdoing it with that one. However...thigh high socks...👀
Now you're speaking my language. They look so CUTE on her! Combined with little black dress, she could only wear that and still look amazing. I live for the top part of the dress, especially the black sheer. Very Kai'sa to me and I stan Kai'sa so... I stan this top. The skirt might be just a TOUCH too much, considering the rest of the ensemble, so maybe she should've gone for just a simple miniskirt? But she can keep the pearls, i will never say no to pearls.
The kimono is still very Sengoku while taking a modern hammer to it, and it paid off in spades. Its bold, its beautiful and there is no question that this is Azuchi's princess, if not queen.
Conclusion: She is a literal Pop princess🎤, she looks like she can rap tbh, I imagine her sounding like Lisa from BLACKPINK. And I'm there for it
1ST PLACE: MITSUKI

Now this is the look of a Vampire QUEEN👸. I love everything here, the dress is hella gorgeous, the purple and black is stunning on her. That hair is EVERYTHING, especially with the pearls, she is literally a princess. I love the earrings, they are gorgeous, but not overly flashy or crazy looking and add to the glamorous vibes she is setting off. The necklace is a bit much, I'd be afraid to wear it for fear it'll prick me😅 but she makes it work. Gold nails💅? Yes please. They go well with her glittery makeup, it's not too much, but just enough to make her eyes come out more. And if that wasn't enough....thigh high socks and fingerless gloves..?
Yes. Just....yes.
She is top tier in this, I wish she could look like this all the time. She looks like an A-list movie star playing a queen...with sparkles everywhere. And I can never have enough sparkle✨
Conclusion: Her everyday look causes me anguish and physical pain, but THIS is giving me life, oh nah, she could take over France looking like this. She definitely looks like she can sing like Mariah Carey, I'm convinced.
