The Style of Evolution of (then) Lady Elissa Wilkes/Crown Princess Elissa, the Duchess of Bilchester (King's Day Edition)

In 2010, the future Crown Princess, Lady Elissa Wilkes, who would go on to marry Crown Prince Richard later that fall, made her King's Day parade debut, riding in her own solo carriage at the back of the procession in a blue floral dress and white hat with blue florals.

In 2011, while expecting the future Queen, Anastasia, the Duchess of Bilchester wore a light green polka dotted dress, white cardigan and a white hat for her first King's Day as an official member of the Royal Family and as Crown Princess.

In 2012, she wore what many people have voted as their least favorite Royal outfit (the dress of which she would later go on to wear as a simple engagement dress), the Crown Princess was joined on the balcony for the first time with Princess Anastasia, who did join her mother in the carriage because of her young age.

In 2013, however, while expecting Prince Michael she redeemed herself with a mauve dress, a white hat paired with a brand new to her brooch, the Meiningen Rose Brooch.

In 2014, she was joined on the balcony by Prince Michael for the first time in a red dress and matching red hat as she debuted the Elphinstone Diamond Rose Brooches.

In 2015, the mom of two wore a light purple coat dress and debuted her own set of pearls (the previous pearl necklace was loaned to her by the Queen) as while as a light purple-blue hat with white flowers.

In 2016, the Duchess continued with the floral hat theme with a light yellow dress and hat (a similar dress and hat combo would be worn by her daughter, Princess Sophie in 2041 for Queen's Day), alongside her pearl necklace and earrings.

In 2017, while early in her pregnancy with Princess Sophie, the Crown Princess wore a light pink coat dress (sparking rumors that the future arrival was a future Princess) and a pink hat, similar to the one she wore while pregnant with then Prince Anastasia.

In 2018, the mom of three broke her floral hat theme with her new shorter hairstyle, lilac purple dress and matching hat. Also this year, her daughter, Princess Sophie, joined the family on the balcony for the first time.

In 2019, the Duchess of Bilchester wore a similar hat, just in beige, and hairstyle while wearing a beige lacy dress, accompanied by her tried and true pearl necklace and earrings.

In 2020, she began wearing her hair up in a bun and alongside her pearls, the Crown Princess wore a outfit that her sister-in-law, Princess Claire had worn the year before, although instead of Claire's signature blue, the Duchess switched it out for a bright sunshine yellow.

In 2021, for her last year as Crown Princess before the death of her father-in-law, King Louis, the soon-to-be Queen wore a simple grey-blue dress with a matching hat with pearl details, her pearl necklace and earrings while she was expecting Prince Charles.

The Christening of Bordeaux-Carlisle Siblings

Arrivals

Royal Watchers from Carrington and Pierreland descended upon Bordeaux Abbey to watch the parade of royals attend the private Christening of Their Highnesses Arthur Earl of Loch Haven & Dominque Earl of Gironde.

The first to arrive is the twin of the Grand Duke of Bordeaux, Mrs. Isabella Villa with her husband, Captain Sebastian Villa, and their twin sons, Jeffery and David.

Next to arrive is immediate family of the Grand Duchess of Bordeaux in their traditional green color scheme. Leading in the family are the Dowager Duchess of Carlisle, Princess Katherine of Carrington and Lady Alex of Carlisle. Behind them are Cassandra, Dowager Duchess of Carlisle who is accompanied by her grandson and twin to the Grand Duchess of Bordeaux, Lord Sebastian of Carlisle.

Behind them are Prince Jim and Princess Claire, the Duke and Duchess of Ashbury in signature Ashbury blue. Behind them are their children His Highness Elias, Earl of Barre and Her Highness Lady Beatrice of Ashbury, who is one of the twins' godmothers.

Following them are Her Majesty Queen Anastasia of Carrington with her husband Prince Hisirdoux Duke of Clois who arrived in coordinated blush colored outfits. They arrived with their cousins the Viscount and Viscountess of Angers who went for the cheery yellow color. The Viscount is one of the Godfathers of the twins.

Arriving with the Valois family are HRH Prince Oliver, Duke of Rothsey and his long time girlfriend HIH Madame Hortense of Francesim (@empiredesimparte). HRH is the nephew of Emperor David and cousin to the Grand Duke of Bordeaux. Prince Oliver is one of the godfathers of the twins and the couple decided to wear coordinated light blue ensembles.

Along with them are HIH Crown Prince Louis who looked dapper in dark blue while and was accompanined by best friend HRH Princess Magdalena of Lunaria (@simsroyallegacy) in a hand painted Dior dress, a favorite fashion house of the Lunarian Royal Family.

Behind them are imperial twins, TIH Princess Maria Aisha and Prince Henri. Princess Maria Aisha was named godmother to her older brother's twins and wore dark blue while Prince Henri went for a blue-grey suit.

The last members of the family to arrive are TIM Emperor David and Empress Katalina. The Emperor with a dark checkered blue suit while the Empress went for a long blue coat dress. Shockingly, the Grand Duke of Anjou and his family are not present for the event and have been noticably quiet.

Finally, the twins of the hour arrived. Earl Dominque was being held by his father, Grand Duke Edmund while Earl Arthur was being held by his mother, Grand Duchess Diane.

Turn-ons: Most people think he's into blondes, but that's just a rumour. In fact, he likes brunettes too.

Favorite food: Like his mother he likes baked goods. He loves the apple pie they serve at St Mary's in the autumn months.

Crushes: Having a celebrity crush is childish and weird, in his opinion. Most of the people he's had crushes on he pursued romantically with no sense of boundaries. Being a royal gives you that type of entitlement.

"The Presentation of Prince Lenerd,"

Was a grand occasion befitting that of an Ionian Monarch's intended heir. The ceremony began with a procession of the child's Godparents, and of course, the baby-of-the-hour. Crown Princess Rosalind of Armorica had the great honor of escorting the Prince into the Grand Throne Room of Wittmund Palace, alongside Godfather: Emperor Napoléon V. Behind them in procession were the Count and Countess Hertford, Prince Michael, the Duke of Exeter and Princess Jacqueline of Marseille. While listening to the words of choice speakers, it was the Emperor who held, and entertained, the now three month old Prince of the Ionian Union. As Prince Lenerd has no recognized second parent, his second cousin and Godfather, the Count Hertford (with the Countess at his side) held him as he was introduced to his Mother and Monarch, Viviana II. Our beloved monach gladly accepted the Prince into the Royal House of Rodchester, and as the sole elligible heir to the Ionian Union.

The Style Evolution of Queen Elissa of Carrington (King's Day Edition Part 2)

See Part 1, her Crown Princess looks, here!

Now a mom of four, Elissa wore a plum skirt-suit and matching hat to King's Day as she rode in the carriage for her first year as Queen, with the white bow in her hat perfectly coordinating with the white bow on her dress.

For her second year as Queen, Elissa wore sunshine yellow and a matching hat, which she paired with the Genovian Diamond and Pearl necklace, which later became a favorite of her daughter, Anastasia.

While expecting the Princes Robert and Benjamin, the Queen took a page out of the style book of other royal women that came before her, in a cerulean blue dress and a matching hat with a cream flower detail.

The year after, the Queen debuted of her least liked Trooping the Colour looks with a simple red-purple hat and a hat in a similar shade. The Queen Consort also, strangely, decided not to pair any jewelry with the look, with the exception of her engagement ring.

Wearing one of her favorite designers, Natasha Burton, again, the Queen redeemed herself the next year with a salmon pink dress and bright pink polka-dots and an equally fun hat.

The year following, Elissa channeled Jackie Kennedy for her King's Day outfit a Natasha Burton Chanel-inspired skirt-suit and matching pillbox hat in white tweed.

The following year, in her 7th year as Queen Consort, the Queen took a little page out of the book of her sister-in-law, Princess Claire, the Duchess of Asbury, in an all blue ensemble, which she paired with the Tromsø Sapphire Earrings, which had been a wedding present from her father, who had passed away earlier that year.

The year after, Queen Elissa wore a Natasha Burton purple coat dress and matching hat, which she paired with the Elphinstone Chandelier Earrings.

The year following, the Queen, now one of the most senior female members of the family, 20 years after her marriage to the now King Richard, wore a Mary Poppins-esque ensemble, combined with her pearl necklace and diamond earrings, which were reported to be wedding gifts from the late King Louis and Queen Eliza.

The next year, to mark her husband's 10th year on the throne, the Queen dressed in green with a pair of emerald earrings that reportedly belonged to Queen Helena, King Richard's grandmother.

This last year had marked the start of great change for the Queen Consort, as it was her last year wearing a color that was not red, after she had welcomed Princess Alice, the King and Queen's last child, earlier that year. Her mother, Clara, would later pass away in that year.

Eagle Hall and Pomfret House have released photos from the Christening of Arthur and Dominque Bordeaux-Carlisle, the Earl of Loch Haven and Earl of Gironde respectively. The large families of the Grand Duke of Bordeaux and the Duchess of Carlisle contributed to the large group photo featuring both the Emperor of Pierreland and Queen of Carrington.

The Grand Duke and Grand Duchess also opted to pay tribute to their deceased parents by having photos of them in photos with the photo of the past Duke of Carlisle featuring the Grand Duchess and her twin brother, Lord Sebastian while the photo of the late Duke and Duchess of Bordeaux come from their wedding day. The photo of their immediate family features the Grand Duke's sister, her husband, the Grand Duchess's mother, grandmother and siblings as well as the couple's nephews.

The Bordeaux-Carlisle twins also had a group photo with their godparents, (L-R) HIH Princess Maria Aisha of Pierreland, HRH Prince Oliver of Scots the Duke of Rothsey, HH Thomas Viscount of Angers, and HH Lady Beatrice of Asbury. The proud parents also released images of the twins with their godparents, grandmothers and a special image of the twins with their mother and great grandmother.

The special image of the twins with their mother and great-grandmother also features a photo of their late grandfather, showing 3 generations of Carlisles.

Favorite color: Although it changes frequently. A long-lasting fav has been green. Every single shade except neon.

Currently Reading: I'm currently reading a book called Belladonna by Adalyn Grace. It has spooky elements so I thought it would fit the atmosphere of the month.

Last Song you Listened to: It was either Can't Love You Anymore by IU or Something About the Sunshine from Starstruck. My favorite Disney Channel DCOM.

Last Series Watched: I recently finished my 3rd rewatch of GOT. My feelings for it have not changed, I love it still.

Sweet, Savory, or Spicy: I have a sweet tooth. Cake, donuts, milkshakes, etc.

Craving: Currently craving these donuts that you dip in melted chocolate. I forget what they're called, but it's from Olive Garden.

Tea or Coffee: I love them both. But my #1 is Iced Tea.

Working on: I'm working on a lot. I'm renovating a Palace in-game, which is taking forever. Also finishing up editing the last batch of screenshots I took. And beginning to write the next Act of my story.
