Jon’s Love for Arya and Sansa are not the same
@sweetlingsansa
Your recent Jon x Love post gave me a chuckle. You appear quite confused in how Jon feels about the two Stark sisters. I’m going to address the way you chose to highlight this point: I sense you’re obviously projecting the feelings he has for one sister that George goes to great lengths to show his readers. In fact, George was specifically asked that question and his answer couldn’t be more clear:
On Jon/Arya:
Granny: Are you trying to say something to the reader by drilling into us how much Arya and Jon love each other?
George_RR_Martin: “Say something to the reader?” I’m just reporting how the characters feel. Of course, everything in the book says something to the reader.
Yet @sweetlingsansa reduces Jon’s feelings for Arya as simple family affection. Sigh. What books did you read? Very suspect. Then you falsely claim Jon apparently feels PURE, PERFECT, UNCONDITIONAL love (where?! lol) for the sister he barely spares a second, third or forth thought on? The sister he can go without seeing again if it meant he could have the other more important people back in his life. The sister that only thought about him when he was the last family she had left.
The sister Jon didn’t spare a thought for over her plight in King’s Landing surrounded by enemies. YET multiple times, he wonders how Arya is… even though deep down he knows she must be dead. Only one sister was worth breaking his vows for. It was only one sister that occupied his last thought before he died. His dearest wishes involved her. When Jon wakes from this “death” like Beric described and Lady Stoneheart is demonstrating, the last things that were most important to the undead person at the end of their life will be their fixation when they rise again. Lady Stoneheart’s search for Arya and killing Freys & Lannisters. Revenge. With Jon, he died with a mission he pledged himself to in riding south to Winterfell to face Ramsay Bolton and get Arya back.
“… I want my bride back … I want my bride back … I want my bride back …” was the last thing Jon considers before he decides to break his vows.
“I have my swords, thought Jon Snow, and we are coming for you, Bastard.”
Jon’s death scene in ADWD was significant. His last word was Ghost, his last feeling was pain, and his last thoughts were about a girl he loved more than anything:
Jon fell to his knees. He found the dagger’s hilt and wrenched it free. In the cold night air the wound was smoking. “Ghost,” he whispered. Pain washed over him. Stick them with the pointy end. When the third dagger took him between the shoulder blades, he gave a grunt and fell face-first into the snow. He never felt the fourth knife. Only the cold. - Jon, ADWD
“Jon will want me, even if no one else does.” (Unconditional) - Arya
George is just reporting how the characters feel remember:
The memory of her laughter warmed him on the long ride north.
~*~
And Arya  …   he missed her even more than Robb, so fierce and willful. she could always make Jon smile. He would give anything to be with her now...
~*~
He remembered the day he had left Winterfell, all the bittersweet farewells; Bran lying broken, Robb with snow in his hair, Arya raining kisses on him after he’d given her Needle.
~*~
That might mean Lord Eddard would return to Winterfell, and his sisters as well. He might even be allowed to visit them, with Lord Mormont’s permission. It would be good to see Arya’s grin again and to talk with his father.
(These two last quotes above are striking in their exclusion of one sister. Yikes.)
~*~
He remembered suddenly how he used to muss Arya’s hair. His little stick of a sister. He wondered how she was faring. It made him a little sad to think that he might never muss her hair again.
This is from Book 2. He thinks she is still alive? When everyone else thinks she’s dead.
~*~
Jon had never met anyone so stubborn, except maybe for his little sister Arya. Is she still my sister? he wondered. Was she ever?
This is just so major, the implications. Wow.
~*~
“He’s to marry Arya Stark. My little sister.” Jon could almost see her in that moment, long-faced and gawky, all knobby knees and sharp elbows, with her dirty face and tangled hair. They would wash the one and comb the other, he did not doubt, but he could not imagine Arya in a wedding gown, nor Ramsay Bolton’s bed. No matter how afraid she is, she will not show it. If he tries to lay a hand on her, she’ll fight him.
~*~
By now she’d be eleven, Jon thought. Still a child. “I have no sister. Only brothers. Only you.” Lady Catelyn would have rejoiced to hear those words, he knew. That did not make them easier to say. His fingers closed around the parchment. Would that they could crush Ramsay Bolton’s throat as easily.
~*~
His thoughts kept returning to Arya. There is no way I can help her. I put all kin aside when I said my words. If one of my men told me his sister was in peril, I would tell him that was no concern of his. Once a man had said the words his blood was black. Black as a bastard’s heart. He’d had Mikken make a sword for Arya once, a bravo’s blade, made small to fit her hand. Needle. He wondered if she still had it. Stick them with the pointy end, he’d told her, but if she tried to stick the Bastard, it could mean her life.
~*~
“I have no sister.” The words were knives. What do you know of my heart, priestess? What do you know of my sister?
I love winning.
~*~
Melisandre seemed amused. “What is her name, this little sister that you do not have?”
“Arya.” His voice was hoarse. “My half-sister, truly …”
~*~
Gods of my fathers, protect these men. And Arya too, my little sister, wherever she might be. I pray you, let Mance find her and bring her safe to me.
~*~
He glanced at the letter again. I will save your sister if I can. A surprisingly tender sentiment from Stannis, though undercut by that final, brutal if I can and the addendum and find a better match for her than Ramsay Snow. But what if Arya was not there to be saved? What if Lady Melisandre’s flames had told it true? Could his sister truly have escaped such captors? How would she do that? Arya was always quick and clever, but in the end she’s just a little girl, and Roose Bolton is not the sort who would be careless with a prize of such great worth.
He keeps hitting that right spot. Jon the president of the Arya Stark stanclub from day mf 1.
~*~
What if Bolton never had his sister? This wedding could well be just some ruse to lure Stannis into a trap. A grey girl on a dying horse, fleeing from her marriage. On the strength of those words he had loosed Mance Rayder and six spearwives on the north. He had even less trust in Melisandre. Yet somehow here he was, pinning his hopes on them. All to save my sister. But the men of the Night’s Watch have no sisters.
~*~
And keep him away from the red woman. She knows who he is. She sees things in her fires.”
Arya, he thought, hoping it was so.
~*~
“That’s good.” Jon felt fifteen years old again. Little sister. He rose and donned his cloak.
~*~
He wanted to believe it would be Arya. He wanted to see her face again, to smile at her and muss her hair, to tell her she was safe.
~*~
The girl smiled in a way that reminded Jon so much of his little sister that it almost broke his heart.
~*~
The girl smiled in a way that reminded Jon so much of his little sister that it almost broke his heart. “Let him be scared of me.” The snowflakes were melting on her cheeks, but her hair was wrapped in a swirl of lace that Satin had found somewhere, and the snow had begun to collect there, giving her a frosty crown. Her cheeks were flushed and red, and her eyes sparkled.
“Winter’s lady.” Jon squeezed her hand.
~*~
He wondered where Mance was now. Did he ever find you, little sister? Or were you just a ploy he used so I would set him free?
~*~
It had been so long since he had last seen Arya. What would she look like now? Would he even know her? Would she still have that little sword he’d had Mikken forge for her? Stick them with the pointy end, he’d told her. Wisdom for her wedding night if half of what he heard of Ramsay Snow was true.
Sill worrying about Arya’s wedding night. Wow.
~*~
Bring her home, Mance. I saved your son from Melisandre, and now I am about to save four thousand of your free folk. You owe me this one little girl.
~*~
You know nothing, Jon Snow. He thought of Arya, her hair as tangled as a bird’s nest. I made him a warm cloak from the skins of the six whores who came with him to Winterfell … I want my bride back … I want my bride back … I want my bride back …
These aren’t even ALL the Jon/Arya quotes from the books, no conjecture, tortured symbolism, imaginary themes/loose connections/extrapolations or weak nonsense explanations, just direct quotes.
Direct. quotes.said.by/about.two.people. Something most Jonsas have very little experience with I know. The Arya quotes would fill pages.
This wasn’t done by accident. George didn’t do this for fun.
These two matter to eachother on a level you don’t seem to understand or want to acknowledge.

DISCLAIMER: all relations to canon characters are subject to change depending on the partner!!
Cintra used to be a highly regarded Hold, both in the North and in King’s Landing, with House Raven being proud and skilled warriors, Cintra’s wealth coming from its wonderfully talented jewelers, sculpting gold in the most beautiful and detailed ornaments.
Everything changed, when Lord Coram Raven passed away, and his 18-year-old son Corbett married Lady Elen of house Mormont. They only had one child, Dagorad, who was the first Lord of Cintra, whose name didn’t start with the letter C. Supposedly his father was too drunk to notice, that Lady Elen named her son a slightly only changed name of her own grandfather, Lord of house Mormont, Dagread. And then it was too late.
Everyone knew that Corbett meant trouble. From his youngest years his favourite activities included drinking, hunting and fornicating, with no real regard for the well-being of his Hold and his people. Cintra’s power withered away, with Corbett starting drunken fights with other norther Lords, including gravely offending Lord Edwyle Stark, refusing to aid him in the battle with Wildlings.
He didn’t treat his wife well, either, to the point when Lord Mormont threatened to take his daughter back to the Bear Island. However Elen refused as her son’s future in Corbett’s dangerous court would be uncertain if she left. It was so bad that on more than one occasion, Corbett would drunkenly proclaim he had had enough with his “sanctimonious” wife and he’d promised one of his many women on the side an imminent wedding and elevation to the position of Lady Raven. However, he never got the chance as he died before Elen at just 30 years old, from a possible combination of syphilis, overdosing on medicinal drugs, or possibly even poisoned.
It was then, that barely 12 year old Dagorad took his position as the Head of house Raven. The time of his reign was one huge, and difficult battle to restore the good name of the House and the Hold that Corbett ruined. This battle was not always victorious. Not only amongst the Northmen, such as Starks, Lockes, or Freys, but also in distant houses such as Lannister or Tyrell, there was the widespread opinion, that “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree”, and that Dagorad in his father’s castle couldn’t learn anything else but drinking, villainy and debauchery.
That opinion of him couldn’t be further from the truth, Dagorad was in every aspect the very contradiction of his father - he was a calm and sedate boy, a modest and prudent man, a loving husband and father, a calm and intelligent politician.
The most difficult - and as a result bloody - battle Dagorad had to fight in his own Hold. Arrogant minions, unruly mistresses, spoiled confidants and mannered with all the honors comrades of Lord Corbett did not think of stepping down after his death, nor did they think to give way to and accept the new rule. They believed, that they would easily wrap the young boy around their finger, and if it would turn out necessary, then they would easily get rid of him. There was a harsh surprise awaiting them. The young Lord acted fast, and thanks to gaining the support of many of his subjects, including the troops, soon the heads of the elites rolled off the scaffold.
He befriended Lord Rickard Stark, having won many battles against the Wildlings by his side and, quite surprisingly, married a young lady of House Lannister - Adalia, by some called a Fairy, sealing the alliance with the second most powerful House in all of Westeros. They have met when Adalia was a handmaiden to Queen Rhaella, and Dagorad had visited the Red Keep, with the young Lannister woman falling in love with him at first sight, and marrying him soon after thanks to the Queen’s support. It was then, that the crest of House Raven changed - from a black raven on blue background, to three jumping golden lions on blue background. Adalia and Dagorad were a loving couple, and had only one, beloved daughter - Calanthe.
There was only one thing that Dagorad inherited from his father - it was love for hunt. And that was what ultimately lead to his demise. He had been wounded durning one of the hunts beyond the wall that he attended alongside Rickard Stark and, having been wounded, shrugged the injury off, as it wasn’t very deep. Sadly, it got infected, and Dagorad passed away at the age 35 of blood infection, leaving his wife Adalia and his teenage daughter Calanthe behind.
Aged 14 at the time, Calanthe was being underestimated by her own people, and the lords of the North. They even offered Adalia to take the position as the Lady of Cintra instead of her, until Calanthe married someone who could rule in her place, but Adalia refused.
Calanthe had won her first battle with the Wildlings being barely 15 years old, standing in the front line together with her people, and earning herself the title of Lioness of Cintra, that also touched on her relation to house Lannister.
In her youth, Calanthe refused to marry a man, and when she finally agreed, after many persuasions, it was hard to find anyone willing to take her hand. Rumours would be spread of incestuous relationships in her family, of romantic adventures, of “hot blood” and even of a romance between Calanthe and her own cousin, Meve of house Mormont. They had to look far, and they found on easternmost side of the North. For an insignificant third or fourth cousin of Lord Hornwood, Roegner, marriage to the Lioness of Cintra was a huge honor and he agreed without hesitation.
Calanthe, so they say, almost lost interest in marriage again and she was supposed to try and sabotage the whole thing, pretending in front of her bridegroom a crazy hag and hellcat… But she changed her plans when she first saw Roegner - the Lord was in fact devilishly handsome!
Barely a year after Calanthe and Roegner married, the Baratheon Rebellion started. Calanthe, with her skilled cintrese troops, was one of bannermen for Eddard Stark, and arriving together with him and Lord Hoster Tully, they turned the tides of the Battle of the Bells. In the middle of the battle, as advised by her mother Adalia, Calanthe and a few of her most trusted men sneaked away to help Queen Rhaella escape to Dragonstone safely. After the Sack of King’s Landing, Calanthe and her troops returned to Cintra, supporting Robert’s claim for the throne, despite the blood ties that connected her and the Lannisters. However, she also stood against Eddard when it came to sending Jaime to join the Night’s Watch, with him being her cousin.
Barely a year after the rebellion Calanthe fell pregnant with a daughter - Pavetta. Having befriended Catelyn, Calanthe would spent surprising amounts of time in Winterfell, as well as invite the Stark children to the warmer Cintra, resulting in Pavetta and Sansa forming a close friendship. Recognizing Calanthe and Cintra’s impact on the success of his rebellion, Robert would also think of her as a friend and stop in Cintra whenever the Royal Family would visit the North.
During this time, Calanthe tried to give Roegner a son, but sadly, they lost the baby twice and never again tried after that.
11 years after the rebellion, in year 294 AC, Calanthe is widowed, as her husband dies of smallpox. After that, she found herself with numerous marriage proposals - including several times a sailor from Iron Islands, Eist Tuirseach had proposed to her, but the lioness never agreed to marry again.
The Game of Thrones begins in 300 AC.

Game Of Thrones
A Song of Ice and Fire
Original Character
Lady Tully
The Third Daughter of Lord Hoster Tully and Lady Minisa Whent.
Born 268, Lady Tully is two years younger than her sister Lysa and 4 years younger than her elder sister Catelyn. Lady Tully is 6 years older than her brother Edmure.
Possible Names for Lady Tully
Iliza ( pronounced like Eliza)
Jocelyn
Marjorie
Annelyse ( pronounced like Annielise)
Bethany
Milynda ( pronounced Milinda )
( Names should not start with C, L, or E )
Lady Tully inherited the blonde locks of her grandmother, The Lady Rosamund Whent.
As she grows up, Lady Tully proves to be a sweet and well-mannered child. She loves her family dearly and always thought to please them. Never disobeying her parents and doing as her elder sisters asked. Whenever her family was feeling down, or they were ill, Lady Tully would make them gifts.
Lady Tully is a gifted wood carver and floral arrangement. Lady Tully also possesses skill in singing and high harp ( the kind of harp you cannot pick up and move).
As she grows up, Lady Tully becomes very protective of her elder sister Lysa. She and her sister Catelyn worry for her because she is remarkably absent-minded.
Once her sister Lysa becomes pregnant with Petry Bealish's child, Lady Tully defends her sister. She argues with their father to have Lysa and Petry married, as it is what Lysa wants. Even though her father becomes enraged and beats them both, Lady Tully stands strong.
Lady Tully argues that he should take up the Arryn betrothal because it is her duty to her family. She also claims that she is also blonde, a trait of the Arryn family.
All three Tully sisters are married on the same night. Lady Catelyn to Eddard Stark, Lady Lysa to Lord Petyr Bealish, and Lady Tully to Lord Jon Arryn.
Lord Bealish is shipped off the fingures, to "fortify" and "defend" them. Once all five ( which have been granted to him) are adequately situated, Lady Lysa can come to join him.
It appears as though both Lady Catelyn and Lysa become pregnant after their wedding night, while Lady Tully does not.
Lady Tully's lack of child becomes a concern because Jon Arryn might die in the war.
After the war is one, Lady Tully is immediately summoned to Kingslanding. Lord Hoster Tully send his daughter with 1,000 guards and 500 household members.
As the highest-ranking lady within the court, Lady Tully is in charge of the running of the Keep. She, as directed by her husband, begins trying to make the Keep as loyal as possible to the new King.
Lady Tully has all Targeryn artifacts stored; all Targaryen loyalists dismissed and banished from the capital. She has Baratheon men come and bring their workers and symbols to fill the Keep.
Lady Tully rounds up the Dornish servants and workers and sends them with all of Princess Elia's items back to Dorne. Her Crown, jewels, dresses, letters, and personal artifacts. This does help relations with the Crown and the Dornish.
But it is replacing the servants that is Lady Tully's greatest achievement. For every Targeyn or Dornish servant dismissed, there are a Stormlander, Valeman, or Riverland men and women ready to fill their spot.
By the time Lyanna Stark is declared dead, and King Robert has married Cersei Lannister, Lady Tully has filled every spot. There is no room for golden-haired spies to be put in place.
One month before Cersei Lannister marries King Robert, Lady Tully falls pregnant.
Lady Tully miscarries in the fourth month.
Despite this, Lady Tully keeps her excellent relationship with her husband. She and Jon dine together in the evenings and often take lunches together with King Robert.
Lady Tully and King Robert develope a good relationship. He treats her, kindly. He declares he will be the best Uncle to her children. King Robert summons his cousin, Annabeth Eastermont, to court to serve as Lady Tullys Compain and lady and waiting.
After Queen Cersei moves into the Keep, she and Lady Tully do not become friends. They are not enemies but are simply too different to ever be able to become friends.
Where Lady Tully is religious and pays weekly homage to the 7. Queen Cersei is disinterested in religion. Where Queen Cersei is cunning and opportunistic. Lady Tully is simple and has little ambition. They have a cordial relation, as befitting the queen and the wife of the hand of the King.
The two women take lunch together at the end of every week. To discuss court going on, the kitchen and servants and future play dates for their children.
Once both women do have children, they become closer, often arranging playdates together and discussion which children to summon to court to become companions to their children.
Because of Lady Tully's presence in King Roberts and Queen Cersei's relationship, they are more cordial than in canon. It goes like this.
Queen Cersei will talk of her troubles to Lady Tully, Lady Tullys tells her lord husband, and Jon Arryn lambasts King Robert, and the relationship improves.
Lady Tully miscarries her second baby before she even realizes she is pregnant.
She successfully carries her third child to term.
Heir Charles Arryn is born two months before Queen Cersei gives birth to her first child. ( Born 286 )
Queen Cersei gives birth to Prince Steffon Baratheon ( who lives instead of being born still )
Lady Tully will miscarry three more times before giving birth to her next child.
Lord Arryn has to defend his wife to the small council.
"Before Lady Tully, I had two wives, both died childlessly. The Tully sisters have both given birth with no troubles, Even the Birth of Charles was easy on Lady Tully. It is time to admit that the problem may be with me and not my wife."
Regardless, Lady Tully goes on to give birth to a second healthy child. During this pregnancy, Lady Tully spends the entire time on bed rest.
Lady Tully gives birth in the last month of 288 to Lord Phillip Arryn.
At this time, Lady Tully's sisters both have had multiple children. Lady Catelyn has given birth to Heir Robb Stark, Lord Hoster, and Lady Sansa. Her sister Lady Lysa has given birth to Lady Caitlyn and Emilee Bealish.
Lady Sansa and Lady Emilee are both summoned to court to act as companions.
Also, in 288, Queen Cersei gives birth to golden-haired green-eyed twins. Prince Daemon and Princess Joanna Baratheon.
In the year 289, Queen Cersei gives birth to blonde hair green eyed Prince Joffrey Baratheon. In 290, queen Cersei gives birth to her last set of children. Black hair blue eyed triplets. Prince Edwin and Princesses Mrycella and Jocelyn.
In the year 288, Lady Tully suffers two miscarriages. In the first month of 289, Lady Tully successfully gives birth to Lady Alyssa Arryn. A little over 9 months later, Lady Tully gives birth to a second daughter Lady Elizabeth Arryn. Then in the year, 291 Lady Arryn gives birth to her final child Lady Ophelia Arryn.
All of Lady Tully and Lord Arryns children were born pale blonde of hair and blue of eye.
In the Red Keep, the children all play together and have good relations with each other. Queen Cersei had summoned her nephew Martin Lannister and Willam Marbrand to the capital to act as a company for her sons.
Lady Tully summons Lady Sansa, Lady Emilee, and Lady Melissa Blackwood to come and serve as handmaids and friends for her and Queen Cersei's daughters. Also summoned is Yara Grayjoy after the rebellion. She is as much a hostage as her brother Theon.
Eventually, both her sons leave the Keep to Foster in the Vale. Charles foster with Lord Yonce, and Philip with Lord Redford, where he meets Domerick Bolten. Lady Tully's daughters are betrothed and go on to have children of their own. They have none of the difficulties their mother had.
Prince Steffon never fosters, but the King takes in many. Prince Joffery, Deamon, and Edwin all foster.
Lady Alyssa and Princess Joanna are both betrothed to the Princes of Dorne, in hopes of smoothing relations.
Lady Elizabeth is pledged to prince Deamon, and as a gift, King Robert gives them Stormsend.
Lady Ophelia is pledged to a house in the Vale like both her brothers, This is to soothe the bannerman and re-cement their loyalty.
Prince Steffon is betrothed to Lady Sansa Stark
Prince Deamon to Lady Elizabeth Arryn and declared Stormsend Heir
Prince Joffery to Janei Lannister and taken on as Tywins Heir
Prince Edwin is not pledged to marry as of yet, he is set to be given a lordship, but it is still in discussion.
Lady Tully creates a ripple effect on the story, In her life, King Robert loves all his children and has a hand in raising them. Queen Ceresi gives the realm liegitment heirs. Her sister, Lysa, is where she wanted to be, although ( this creates different problems). The kingdom is stable. Under King Roberts Rule, marriage between cousins falls out of fashion. Petyr Bealish is never named Master of Coin, but the Westeros kingdom still falls into debt. There is no war of 5 kings, but the Aegon and Daenerys Targaryen still pose a threat, as do the white walkers beyond the wall.

History
Brandon Stark, commonly called Bran, is the fourth child and second son of Eddard and Catelyn Stark.
Bran was born and raised at Winterfell. He has an older brother Robb, a younger brother Rickon, two older sisters Sansa and Arya, and an older "bastard half-brother", Jon Snow, who is actually Bran's first cousin by his aunt Lyanna Stark. Bran was named for Ned's elder brother, Brandon, who was brutally executed by the Mad King along with Bran's paternal grandfather Rickard Stark. He is only called "Brandon" by his mother when he has done something wrong. Bran dreams of being a knight of the Kingsguard, and his favorite hobby is climbing the walls of Winterfell, using its old rooftops and passageways to get around.
Bran is a warg and currently the new Three-Eyed Raven, using his supernatural gifts to assist his family in the war against the White Walkers.

Appearance and Personality
Bran has his mother's coloring, with the thick auburn hair and deep blue eyes associated with House Tully.
Bran is a pleasant young boy, regarded fondly by the people of Winterfell. Before the incident of his fall, Bran was an extremely curious and adventurous boy. He was noted by his mother, and by his brother Robb, to have done a great amount of climbing around the walls of Winterfell and having never fallen, showing a considerable amount of bravery on his part. His curiosity was in large part what led to his fall in the first place, since he was drawn into the encounter between Jaime and Cersei out of sheer curiosity as to what was happening. After his fall, Bran's rapidly worsening situation forced him to become far more solemn and apprehensive than the cheerful child he had once been. After words Bran had it in him to be a good lord in his own right, as proven by his brief tenure as acting Lord of Winterfell when Robb left to fight Tywin Lannister.
Upon meeting Jojen Reed, Bran proved capable of accepting the powers that he possessed, showing an open mind on his part, even if such a thing set him apart from companions like Osha. He became almost unbreakably determined to meet the Three-Eyed Raven that kept coming to him in his dreams, even if it meant separating from his brother Rickon and, later on, from Jon Snow. When Bran finally reached the Three-Eyed Raven, one of the first things he pressed the Three-Eyed Raven about is whether or not Bran could walk again, and is briefly disappointed when told that he will never walk again.
After growing up under the tutelage of the Three-Eyed Raven, Bran maintains his curious nature, especially when he and the Raven visit Winterfell; his curiosity piques when he sees his long-dead aunt Lyanna. Bran is disappointed by the prospect of returning to the real world. Later on, Bran expresses confusion when witnessing the duel at the Tower of Joy, especially when his young father started losing the duel - this confusion turned to horror when he realized that Arthur Dayne lost only because Howland Reed blindsided him, having been told all his life that Ned ultimately killed the man in an honorable duel. This horror resurfaced when he realized that the Children of the Forest were responsible for the creation of the White Walkers, only to be silenced when Leaf cited the havoc caused by men to be the main reason for this course of action. He also shows incredulity at what his own powers can accomplish, as shown when he realizes how he is responsible for breaking Hodor's mind in the first place.
Upon returning from Beyond the Wall, Bran's personality has changed significantly, as a result of the expansion his powers have taken since the battle at the Cave of the Three-Eyed Raven. He has become extremely calm to a fault, to the point of being almost detached from everyone else around him. Having become the new Three-Eyed Raven, Bran has been given access to many more events, which he explains several times, so much that Bran becomes aware of almost anything, for example the wedding between his sister Sansa and Ramsay Bolton, and even the conversation between Littlefinger and Varys. He also shows a rather dangerous and threatening side, as evidenced by his deadpan recital of Chaos is a ladder to Petyr Baelish, outright showing that he knows how treacherous Petyr is and what he has done against House Stark in the past, but also suggesting that Petyr is unable to manipulate him. Also, Bran shows himself to have become almost wiser than he was before, ultimately not accepting the Valyrian steel dagger that Littlefinger gives him, citing that it would be useless for a cripple, but at the same time obviously not trusting the gifts that the man gives him. However, Bran is not truly omniscient, as he still needs to witness events in order to find out about them, as shown by his surprise when he heard that Rhaegar and Lyanna were secretly married.

Skills
Bran Stark is one of a few characters known to possess magical abilities.
Greensight - also called simply "The Sight", is the ability to receive prophetic visions, starting off in the form of dreams. Bran's powers extend far beyond simply viewing events unfold; he is capable of influencing past events, though he cannot change what was predestined to occur already. Warg - Bran is a warg, a human who can send his consciousness into the mind of an animal, to see through its eyes and control its body as if it were his own. Jojen Reed states that this is a different, though related, ability to the Sight. Though he still needs training, Bran is inherently a very powerful warg, even able to enter the mind of another human, something the wargs among the wildlings are unable and unwilling to do. Bran has already become skilled at entering the mind of his direwolf Summer, in which he is a dangerous fighter, capable of dispatching several wildlings or wights, and uses Hodor to perform more complicated tasks or to supplement Summer's fighting capacity.
Skinchanging with a Heart tree, a Weirwood with a face carved in it by the Children of the Forest, allows Bran to have vivid visions of past, present, and future events, including those far away from himself. While in the visions, Bran is once again capable of walking.

THE STORY SO FAR
Born on the fourth day of the sixth moon in the year 266AC, Edmure Tully is the fifth born child and third born son of the late lord Hoster Tully, Lord Paramount of the Trident and ruling lord of Riverrun and his wife, the late Lady Minisa Tully neé Whent. of the six Tully children, only three ─ Catelyn, Lady of Winterfell; Lysa, Lady of the Vale and Edmure, Lord of Riverrun ─ survived infancy. In the years following his birth, lady Minisa Tully would go onto conceiving yet another son for House Tully though both mother and child were taken from the world in the birthing bed, widowing lord Hoster and leaving his children without a mother from a tender age. Edmure was then entrusted into the full care of a nursemaid and a septa who indulged in his every whim and fancy with little to no thought of keeping with his discipline. The deaths of the children prior and after his birth had resulted in an excessive amount of fussing over the young lord that had quickly built into the temperament of a rather spoiled, selfish, cruel little boy.
Though they had erred in his disciplinary upbringing, Edmure was given a first - rate education from leading tutors within the Riverlands and throughout Westeros. furthermore, he was instructed, personally, by the knights of the Riverlands on swordplay and archery and when time permitted, was even taught by his uncle in the matters of warfare and battlefield politics. It was a popular piece of gossip, during his childhood, that Edmure was sickly during his childhood due to a misunderstanding in a letter sent by Lord Hoster to a maester to query on methods of how to quell Edmure’s ‘tempers’. many had taken this piece of gossip as hard truths and Lord Hoster’s protectiveness of his son further fuelled such beliefs. Edmure grew up to be unusually tall for a Riverman and was considered a handsome young boy by those who came across him. With the fiery locks of house Tully and clever eyes, he resembled his father and his uncle both and though he was rather impulsive as a young child, the presence of his sisters soon aided in his temperament and he was said to have an “amicable and gentle” way to his words and was a “tender soul” in comparison to the other boys of his age despite his capable abilities with a sword. Edmure’s only note - worthy adversary had been in his father’s young ward, Petyr Baelish. a boy that was familiar with the unending attentions from his sisters, Edmure did not take to kindly to the slow but certain shift of interest from brother to the Baelish boy and had acted upon his dislikes by mocking the other boy cruelly and publicly, egged on by the cheers of others. While this is easily seen as the quarrels of children, further emphasized by how Edmure was quick to apologize if his words had gone too far, the mocking had all added up into the breaking point of their friendship, over the late Lord Brandon Stark. Eager to prove his worth to his future good - brother, Edmure did not stop to think of his friend’s feelings and thus lost the close bond they had once shared. Though things had appeared to be patched up with time, many knew that nothing between the two men have been same since.
Following the end of Robert’s rebellion, Edmure was fostered, briefly, in the Vale as he squired for his uncle, the Blackfish, who had followed his sister lysa to her new home upon marriage. Knighted at sixteen, Edmure returned to the Riverlands to accompany his father on an expedition through the land where he mingled with the nobles and smallfolk alike, learning of his people and making a few lasting friendships that have continued onto this day. Upon returning to Riverrun, Edmure brought the boys with him and was served by the sons of Riverland nobility, such as Lymond Goodbrook, Patrek Mallister, Marq Piper and the young Vances who all became a part of his household and his extended family. Beneath the tutelage of a warrior uncle and a scholarly father, Edmure soon grew into the very image of a proud Riverlands lord, content in his position and in the people that kept his company. The presence of the other boys also encouraged him to venture away from swordplay and books and he quickly found a love for drink and women, much to the chagrin of his guardians.
Ever ready to defend his lands and his people yet knowledgeable enough to know when to pick up a quill instead of a sword, the young lord Tully was highly regarded by the lords of the Riverlands, who all tried in vain to send their daughters to seduce his interest. Though he was permitted freedom with the common girls, lord Hoster had guarded Edmure against the nobly born women, careful that no accidents took place under his watch. Edmure’s loyalty to the Riverlands continues to hold fast and true though he never reached full maturity till the death of his father. The newly minted Lord Paramount of the Trident and ruling lord of Riverrun had consumed enough wine to fill the rivers surrounding the castle and, after a several failed attempts to send his father’s body off in the proper manner true to house Tully, Edmure was quick to renounce his love for the drink and women, ashamed by his actions.
Honouring his father’s last wish to remain neutral in the face of a brewing war, Edmure struggled to maintain control of the Trident as the lands and his people suffered beneath the tireless assault from the Lannister forces under the command of Ser Gregor Clegane. though the Brotherhood Without Banners does much to quell the heavy arm of the attacks, his people still suffered and as he did nothing beyond form a defensive response, his lords were in arms at his inaction, threatening revolt if House Tully did not move soon. Tired from the continuous assault by the Lannister forces and emboldened by the actions of his northern kin, Edmure chose to align house Tully with Jon Targaryen and lends a bulk of his forces to the northern cause, sparing the bare minimum to ensure the peace around his lands. There is some pride taken in the fact that house Tully is the first to declare for the returning Targaryens and his decision is received with no small measure of respect from his naysaying noblemen, most of whom are quick to comply with their liege lord’s orders.
The second marriage of his sister, Catelyn, to one of lord Walder Frey’s sons had sickened him to his core and though he would have liked nothing more than to storm through the twins and demand the obedience of the Lord Frey, his temper is quickly doused with his sister’s firm resolve to do whatever necessary for her son’s success. He could not turn his back against the woman who had raised him for a good portion of his childhood and thus grudgingly permits Lord Walder to maintain a guise of control even as it slights him. With the continuous victory of the northern forces, the Riverlands are slowly returning to it’s former glory and Edmure has vowed to do everything in his power to protect his people, even going so far as to lend aid to the Brotherhood Without Banners, encouraging the people to turn on the false kings of the South and await the return of their Targaryen liberators.
HEADCANONS
Indulgent to the point of excess, the heir of Riverrun had relied heavily on the guidance of his father in the finer aspects of ruling. Many could and would say that as a young man, Edmure Tully had treated his role as future Lord Paramount of the Trident with no small measure of derisiveness, preferring to spend his waking moments with a flagon of the richest wines and with a girl upon his lap. The reassurance he received from the presence of his father and the sound advice from his uncle both served to bolster his cocksure belief that nothing could shake house Tully or the Riverlands. The death of lord Hoster and the subsequent razing of the lands surround his home by the mountain that rides quickly ended such childish beliefs and behaviours though Edmure does struggle with the heavy mantle of lord upon his shoulders from time to time.
The act to remain neutral had been his father’s dying wish and Edmure had tried, in vain, to uphold such a stand within the war despite the wishes of his advisers. He had concentrated on his own people, inviting the smallfolk to find shelter in the great keeps of their lords when the mountain rode out to terrorise their lands and would have gladly emptied his grain stores to keep everyone safe and alive had it not been for the advice of his uncle, the Blackfish. Knowing that house Tully needed to take a stand before they were uprooted by the more ambitious houses of the Riverlands, Edmure had placed his cards with Jon Targaryen, remembering the sombre boy from his infrequent visits to Winterfell. in turn, he had also fulfilled his duty as brother to Catelyn Tully, promising a bulk of his forces to the northern march beneath the instruction of his uncle. Though he had not followed the advice given by his dying father, Edmure can only hope that he has made wise decisions thus far, both for his house and for his people.
In many ways, his quick declaration for Jon Targaryen ( and also, by extension, the Targaryen claim on the throne ) was to ease the strain between his sister and the assumed bastard of Eddard Stark. Though Edmure had never been intentionally cruel to the former bastard of Winterfell, he had followed the examples set out by his sister and had ignored the boy entirely, bearing gifts for the rest of the family but conveniently forgetting of the baseborn boy. Many could argue that it was never his duty to provide or even acknowledge Jon snow but with a soft heart, Edmure had never felt comfortable with his actions though he persisted out of fear of insulting his sister. Knowing that Catelyn would not have been kind to the boy as he grew, Edmure’s allegiance to house Targaryen is based on the hope that his sister would be forgiven for his actions when the Targaryens do take the throne.
