State Banquet at Versailles : Emperor Napoléon IV offers his royal guest the lair of the Sun King

For the first time during his reign, His Imperial Majesty received a foreign power at Versailles. Indeed, receiving guests at Versailles is extremely rare, so it was a matter of special attention from the Emperor. The Palace of Versailles is a place of power, French history and demonstration par excellence. A hundred guests are expected to attend the dinner in the famous Galerie des Batailles.

Duke Oliver of Rothsey appears adorned with the Order of the Legion of Honour, which he received from Emperor Napoléon IV earlier in the day. This lavish state dinner should allow the Francesim to assure its good feelings and support for the Scots kingdom. It is a very formal event, and under high surveillance: imperial guards, bodyguards, snipers, police… All the more so as the state dinner is filmed live.

The radiant Empress Marie-Joséphine walks with the Prime Minister, Charlemagne de Maupas. She wears the sapphire finery of the Duchess of Angouleme and the ribbon of the Legion of Honour.

The young guest duke, who will soon be joining the Polytechnic School with the Children of Francesim, will be able to experience the world-renowned French cuisine on his first day !

Le jeune duc invité, qui rejoindra bientôt l'École polytechnique avec les enfants de Francesim, pourra faire l'expérience de la cuisine française de renommée mondiale dès son premier jour !

Un nouveau mug de chez Dille & Kamille, une petite visite au jardin (il vient chaque matin !), la pleine lune la nuit, la préparation d'un spectacle, le craquage de début de saison, le craquage de la glace de Gaston sous la bruine à Bruxelles, un vieux cinéma irréductible survivant dans une pauvre galerie des années 50, dont les commerces sont tous devenus des horribles et puants trucs de modelage d'ongles tenus par des taïwanais exploités, la Bourse de Bruxelles enfin ouverte, la Grand Place, et les chats qui profitent de la lenteur du dimanche.

Un cliché envoyé par mon amie Julie, @julierudelin, en balade à Grasse. Merci ma belle, pour cette pépite visuelle. Voici un fragment de façade qui chuchote des histoires d'antan. Les volets clos semblent retenir les échos des badauds d'autrefois, émerveillés devant les layettes ou en quête d'un jouet pour un sourire enfantin. Ce mur est un murmure dans la cité des parfums, nous rappelant que chaque coin de rue a été, est, et sera toujours le décor d'une scène de vie.

Désolée mais le gris en déco c'est peut être tendance je sais pas mais moi je vois ça vraiment comme la mode du "taupe" à la fin des années 2000. Couleur déprimante, ça va avec rien, des gens trouvent ça chic alors que dans 10 ans ça aura changé pour une autre couleur fade et déprimante.

(en vrai le problème c'est pas forcément la couleur parfois ça passe, mais faites un effort pour que ça ait un minimum de personnalité et dans la galerie des glaces désolée ça va pas du tout)

Bonjour, ça serait pour des avatars d'Emma Miyasawa qui est l'avatar d'un personnage d'animé. Alors normalement le personnage a les cheveux blancs mais impossible de trouver, forcément. C'est une jeune femme douce, tendre, qui vit pour sa famille et essaye de recoller les morceaux entre tous, elle est institutrice sinon. Elle adore cuisiner pour les siens ou même d'autres pour aider. Elle a un pouvoir de glace dont elle ne se sert pas contrairement à ses frères et père. Merci d'avance ♥

WIP 23 — crucible

I talked about it here, so I'm going to direct you there because I'm too lazy to copy everything (I just did it for another post but this one has IMAGES too so a link will have to do 🤣)

WIP 49 — sensory overload

This one is a very personal fic I started writing to deal with sensory overload–adjacent moments I have sometimes. It doesn't happen often, but when I started this WIP it was happening almost daily and I was feeling really overwhelmed. I guess I haven't continued/finished this because it hasn't happened again in a while. (Which is good! But I also want to finish this 😂)

Anyway, it's Baz dealing with vampire senses-induced sensory overload, which is something I've always wanted to explore. I have Thoughts about it.

Here's a snippet of Simon being a good boyfriend:

Baz brings his knees up to his chest and wraps his arms around his legs. He looks so lost, and young, and I want to envelop him in me and keep him safe. But I'm not sure—

“Can I—Can I touch you?”

He hesitates, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. Then he nods, not opening his eyes, and shuffles forwards on the bed so that there's room for me to slot behind him. I do, spreading my legs at his sides and tentatively touching his arm.

“Is this okay?”

He mmms, and my wings unfurl, forming a barrier between us and the rest of the room, not too close to us to make him feel crowded but close enough, I hope, to make him feel safe.

WIP 34 — i wanna be your slave

Damn, this one is also good. I had this idea for EGF, but then life and death happened and I abandoned all my WIPs but one (Cumdrop Buttons, but only because I had already written it in December).

This one is inspired by the Måneskin song, and it's supposed to be pure porn. Lots of BDSM, really kinky sex (all safe and consensual!!).

In a world were no creatures are discriminated, Baz is an immortal vampire who runs a House Of Pleasure (how he calls it). He loves his job, which is very dignified in this universe, but he hasn't felt like having sex with any clients in more than a century. Sex feels old; he's seen it all, so he leaves clients to his colleagues, and it's okay.

Until, one day, a man walks in. He looks young—but so does Baz, after all—but something about him feels timeless. Suddenly, Baz is very interested in having a client again.

(Spoiler: it's Simon!) (More spoilers: he's an immortal dragon who wake up from his mountain for the first time in centuries, and he wants to experience the world again. Baz will gladly help.)

I barely started writing this. I basically have a couple of paragraphs and a long list of kinks.

Snippet!

But no client was him.

He looks pretty young – 25? 30? – but he has an air to himself that Basil learnt to recognise in the newly built Galerie de Glaces at Versailles. He carries himself like his steps have already crossed every inch of the planet countless times, something deep and unfocused in his gaze that only belongs to those who have seen more than it’s possible to see in a lifetime.

And yet there’s more wonder in his boring blue eyes than Basil remembers ever seeing in his own.

GOLD APARTMENT

Today I’m sharing with you the apartment in a rich gold tone. Since I'm constantly building I wanted to try a color scheme I've never used before so I played with different wood tones and warm colors mixed with some golden metals.   

This is a 920 Medina studios apartment in San Myshuno (The Sims 4 City living). It has one bedroom, a kitchen, a dining room, an open closet, and a bathroom.
