" For reals, you've done this before right. Don't fuck it up I swear to god I will cry I'm dealing with enough shit right now babe." " You're the one that asked me to do this for you, have some trust in me."

You comb through his braid and neatly section if off one last time before slapping on the DIY at home bleach. After getting kicked out of his old band Kayn wanted a full makeover, so with five boxes of bleach and some whining he convinced you to help him bleach and dye his hair. You stood awkwardly behind him as you comb in the bleach. Kayn wasn't wearing a shirt, so that he wouldn't ruin any tees. So it was quite a sight, hair down, topless, you pause for a bit and stare. After some thinking you sigh, you were going to miss his blue and black hair...it was so soft too...

" Hey I heard that sigh! You know I HAVE to do this...I want to change my image, show them I'm better without them!"

Kayn pouts, you see it in the mirror and laugh. Slapping on more bleach, sectioning it out and complaining once again bout how the long hair sticks to the gloves and makes it all messy. But ok, you work hard, with a roll of aluminum foil ready you neatly bleach his long hair. As you wait for the first bleaching to set in you throw a little of the leftovers on your hair too, just enough for one strip.

" Should we match colors?"

You see Kayn visibly perk up as he hears your suggestion.

" Really? I think that will be cute. Like a cringey couple."

He smirks, leaning back to take a good look at you in the toilet mirror. He starts laughing loudly.

" Wait are you copying me or making fun of me! Why bleach that same chunk of hair as the old me!"

The two of you chat for a bit as you wait for the bleach to set in, when times up you help him wash it all off in the tub. Damn his hair was really such a dark black, it was just brown now. You comment about it needed a few more rounds of bleach. Kayn sighs this time instead, exhausted already but his rockstar image was at stake, he wanted to look cool so he had to do this. He had a goal already, an ombre fade of pink and purple, it would be so cool. Sitting back down, you blow dry his hair and start on round two.

And round three. Orange.

And four. Yellow.

And five before the yellow finally lifts enough! You were finally free from seeing that yellow, orange hue! And-

Oh no. You look at a handful of hair in your hands from where you combed through his hair.

You too were unsure how to react, were you going to cry or laugh. After five bleaches, his hair kinda...fried off. Ah...you were REALLY going to miss his long hair. Promising to fix it, you grab some hair scissors and did your best. With Kayn doing everything to hold himself together while you save what you can and work out a messy cut. It actually looked really good. You tell him to look up as you blow dry his hair yet again. Promising it wasn't as bad as he thought it was going to be. Kayn tentatively pulls his hands away from his face as he looks at himself in the mirror. A smile slowly creeping across his face.

" Oh shit you really did fix it? The hell Y/N! Let's dye it right now! I still want that pink purple thing going down!"

He tilts his head left and right, trying to get a better look at it, an idol worthy style. Kayn nods, happy with what you've done with it. Quickly you work the colors onto his hair and yours. Laughing together as he admires himself in the mirror. Half an hour passes and you wash his hair and dry it off for the last time. Kayn himself also helping to wash the and dry your hair. You smile as the two of you admire your reflections.

" Is it me or are we looking super hot?"

He snakes and arm around your waist, pulling you close. Giving your cheek a quick kiss.

" I actually like this a lot I'm glad it worked out. Thank you Y/N."

Kayn gives you a warm smile as he runs his hands through his hair, giving it a little shake as it falls gracefully along his jawline. He turns his attention back to the mirror before he shouts.

" Oh shit yeah! Let me snap a photo!"

Kayn leaves the room for a bit, grabbing his phone and a nice shirt to snap a photo in. He returns, hand draped around your shoulder as he takes a mirror selfie with you both. The largest smile plastered on his face as he sits down and edits it to use as his new wallpaper. You would mourn his pretty braid but...he was still your charming boyfriend you could live with the new style. The short hair was starting to grow on your after all.

I got very longwinded so I put the rest under the Read More. But TL;DR of this post:

-Once my current queue is done, I will be taking an indefinite hiatus from accepting commissions. There will be exceptions in the form of sporadic specials and Patreon-exclusive slot openings.

-There will be a “final hurrah” special I will very likely hold for maybe a month before that hiatus comes into play. Will be the final time I will accept commissions before hiatus.

-Hiatus will be spent focused on personal projects, overall art improvement, and content creation. I miss making headcanons as often as I did, man. ;w;

-Hiatus will, at most, last for the rest of 2023. More likely, though, it’ll last for a few months, but regular commissions will return with certainty uwu

But if you want the long version...

This week is Deload week for training before my PR tests, which means I am taking a recovery period from weightlifting before I go back to hit them goal numbers hard as I can. And with it comes a coincidental introspective on my career as a freelance artist so far.

When May rolls around, it’d be 4 years since I quit my day job and took on commissions as my official primary means of income, and making my art my near entire source of income. I’ve definitely taken commissions long before that, but it was very much both amateur and part-time for the most part with my focus being elsewhere: either on school, or a job.

4 years of being able to independently live on my own thanks to the support I receive from everyone is more than I can ask for. But it is also a decent amount of time to be drawing for others!

Lemme counter that though by saying I’m not actually sad or upset about it or like. Need any sort of condolences or anything of that sort. Quite the contrary; I love doing commissions! Money is a factor in it, yeah, I’d be a fucking liar if it wasn’t; I have to eat and pay those pesky bills to make art. But a large part of why I love commissions is because I very much enjoy drawing for people. To me, being given a commission is being given the permission and trust to handle a small fragment of the person with care. I’m given a glimpse into who the person is, what they like, what stories they have to tell. So I try to give them my best foot forward and produce a piece they’ll enjoy. I personally find the entire process of creating for others very sweet and fun and it makes me happy that I’m allowed the honor of drawing for someone. :)

But through a lot of trial and error I’ve also come to remember how much I enjoy drawing for myself too, and how much I miss it. I don’t really draw for myself much anymore. I don’t really have the time to, mainly, but that’s largely my own doing. Past rookie stumbles biting me in the ass, living and learning. ;w; But I’m only bringing it up now because I am finally getting fucking close to finishing the queue I have, and with it comes the decision of taking an indefinite hiatus away from taking commissions.

The hiatus will at minimum be a couple of months, but I’m hoping I’ll be able to take it for the rest of the year. Got a lot of plannin’ to do if I intend on taking it that long! One such thing is doing a “last hurrah” special. The commissions will have to be simple and small so I don’t like, destroy myself in the process, but the idea is to take as many simplistic commissions as I can before I go into hiatus. It’ll be the official final time I’ll accept orders on mass before it’ll become very sporadic at best, at least until I bring the hiatus to an end.

Another is finally making an official store front for merch. Already have ideas of what I’d offer; most of them will be small and relatively cheap, and others would be like P2U designs and refs you could use for OCs ;w;

Lastly is more time spent on energy toward my Patreon and streaming; more early access, more character requests, more comics, so on and so forth. uwu

As such, as you can imagine I will likely not be terribly active with art posting for the next few weeks ;w; I’ll still be around if you have questions and what not, but ye! “Aw, you need it that bad?” He teased, letting his hand trail down again. Solas couldn't help the way his breath hitched, praying that Varric would finally give him what he needed.

“Please,” he whispered, voice thick, any embarrassment forgotten against the heady possibility of relief. “Please touch me. I need to finish. Make me come.” Now, finally, Varric was the one who shivered.

Then, blessedly, wrapped his hand around Solas' aching cock and started working him hard and fast without any preamble. Hey, here's a chance for you to ramble ;)

About who because I have way too much to say all at once

Like for fucking starters the way the fandom took Dreamtale (which quite frankly didn't belong in the UnderTale Multiverse in the first place and I'm 90% sure Joku just wanted to insert her[?] OCs and story somewhere she[?] knew it would get attention) and turned it into something fantastic was absolutely incredible to watch pan out in real-time. Second of all there is nobody in this world who is more in love with Nightmare's design than I am at this point 'cuz there has not been a single day in the last five years I have not thought about him (/srs) good LORD there is way too much to talk about there and I promised someone I wouldn't be un-sfw on here just know I'm on my knees barking for him begging him for a chance a SINGLE chance and that I would pay for.. certain artwork.. of him if given that opportunity..

Anyway I think the fandom's version of Dreamtale both ruins and improves the overall story because quite frankly I have never been happy with how Passive!Nightmare straightup dies but maybe that's just the angst brain y'know I think that Nightmare living but holding a deep hatred and/or jealousy for Dream would have been a better route there but also I understand that the AU doesn't only revolve around them and has to involve other characters and having Passive die is probably one of the easiest ways of doing that. But also if Nightmare killed his own mom how much extra angst potential would there be, right? 'Cuz then we'd also get angst with Dream trying to move on from it and forgive him and that is a whole other topic and I'm tryna stay on track here.

Speaking of Dream I personally think that the way the fandom used to (and still does sometimes) treat him was foul.. absolutely slanderous. UwU little soft boi Dream.. bleh. I think I could understand that take on Dream if it was when he was younger or had just directly come out of statue form but the people who used to write him as just some guy who lived solely to fix his brother and not think about anything else was certainly something. I mean I think you could technically write a perspective like that but it would take such a large amount of effort to fit properly within literally any sort of canon that it just wouldn't be worth it at all unless you're really that dedicated to it. Anyway, I think I'm just glad that the fandom has largely moved past the entire pathetically weak Dream saga that happened. I really fucking love Dream who is still grieving over the loss of his brother but can also accept that he's gone and is focusing on saving the Multiverse instead of trying to get his brother back at any cost I'm so in love with that version of Dream but nobody writes him like that on Wattpad so whenever I'm reading a fic about him it's HORRIBLE.

Y'know what I'm taking the chance to talk about how I don't think there's enough religious content surrounding Dream and Nightmare because I'd like to remind everyone that they are Guardians, which is pretty similar to Gods depending on who you ask. You CANNOT tell me that, whilst Nightmare is out causing havoc and spreading negativity to the AUs and such, not a SINGLE person would start thinking of him as a deity-like figure. Take it a step further and have them praying to him and giving him offerings like that is a banger concept if done correctly.

Take it ANOTHER step further and have it be done with Dream. Sure Nightmare's the Guardian of Negativity so not many people are likely to support him and such but Dream is the Guardian of Positivity, people would 100% worship him. There are so many things you could do with this concept, have him running around trying to keep his supporters happy whilst also protecting the Multiverse from Nightmare, have him be overwhelmed have him be fearful of the way people view him because it reminds him of the times before the Apple Incident oh my God please can someone do anything with this concept

Also side note I am in love with the bad sanses poly ship like that's also something not explored enough within fics I'll get around to writing something about it eventually but LORD the things I would do to read a 150k word fic about their adventures and their love for each other and their arguments and their miscommunications and their flaws and how they love each other's flaws and how they accept each other for who they are without having to drastically change anything about themselves and how they've finally found comfort in other people like them and how they never thought they would so they're super happy and AAAAAAAAAA dude. The things I'd do to read something like that.

Also. Listen to me. Error. I don't think I have to say much else because the large majority of people are already agreeing just based on Error alone but.. Error.

I am a VERY big fan of how his redesign is VERY similar to Geno's design except in negative form with some slight variations and I don't know if anything I'm about to talk about was on purpose or not but we're going into it anyway. First of all I love the idea of a Sans somehow glitching his way practically out of existence and becoming a fucked up piece of code like Error, but God the way his design looks will never get old to me. Never. The way he's all black because it's the negative of white and y'know in computer viruses and crashes they usually portray it as turning into negative colours when something has gone wrong BUT the way that Error's design only uses the primary colours (red, yellow, blue) WOOF that gets me GOINNNNNGGG like YES we've gone back to the basics no more complex colours no more special little colour palettes nothing like that he is basic and he is simple. He is UNPREDICTABLE like a virus he does not have any set opinions or personality traits at least not set in stone he is unhinged he has nothing to properly define him other than the term 'manbaby' and it is SO good because he isn't Sans he isn't even considered one or at least he shouldn't be because yes technically he is one if you look into it even the slightest but he has basically zero similarities because his personality is negative his personality is flipped his personality is FUCKED everything about him is FUCKED and he is INSANE. He is not patient like Sans he is not mysterious like Sans he is not harmless unless heavily, heavily aggravated like Sans he is the opposite he is a FOOL. A JESTER. Can someone draw him in a jester's outfit I think that would be funny anyway I love him he's my little meow meow my little guy my little non-friendly pal ALSO his fucking birthday is a 404 joke and his strings are a joke too for strings of code and it took me FOUR YEARS to figure that out because I'm a dummy but once it clicked?? Wowza it was like a new world opened because I could actually finally understand what his strings were all about.

I don't really have much to say about Killer if I'm being honest with you.. I'm just obsessed with him because he's a crazy extrovert who stabs people to death and also his design fucks hard though I do somehow keep forgetting his Soul whenever I draw him.. which isn't often I really need to start drawing him more he's SO fun his little drippy eye sockets are SO much fun to draw I cannot lie to you guys I would most definitely do a full piece of art of him if it meant I got to draw his eyes.

Fuck it I think Killer and Nightmare's possible relationship dynamics go CRAZY and I will need there to be more content of them. It does not matter if it's ship or not I just need them being them. I need Killer annoying Nightmare but Nightmare putting up with it because he finds it really cute how Killer likes being near him even if it's only to annoy him. I need Killer being patient and listening to Nightmare struggling to explain his own emotions (I also need Nightmare who can process everyone else's emotions besides his own) and Nightmare being so so grateful that he can confide in Killer about it. I need Killer following Nightmare's every word and demand because he wants to please him and when Nightmare compliments him it's all worth it. I need awkward Nightmare and Killer where Killer keeps trying to befriend Nightmare but Nightmare can't figure out what he's trying to do so he's just like "???" until Killer has to outright ask him to be friends. I need not awkward Killer and Nightmare where Nightmare knows full well that Killer wants to be friends but he is afraid of what would happen and he's afraid of putting their team in danger because what if he says something bad and Killer decides to leave ?? What would happen to the rest of his team then ??

I need Nightmare and Killer content where Nightmare is willing to take the risk of befriending him if it means being closer with him. And then I need Nightmare and Killer content which evolves into Killermare content which then evolves into bad sans poly.

I need Nightmare and Killer. Just in general now I just need them no further context.

WHEW the things I could say about Blueberror.. man I only started getting into him like a week ago because of a Wattpad request but I completely forgot how in love with his design I am. I can't really comment on it the same way as Error because, well, nothing tops Error but his design is so so so fun I love it I love how he still resembles his old self I love how not much changed other than he, again, became a sort of negative-like version of himself. I fucking love the stars on his face too I think face markings have gotta be the best thing to ever happen with OC creation in general things just feel incomplete if they don't have something there to draw on their faces

(Name) knows JUMBO works so hard to keep everyone else happy. He does a lot for the little family they’ve become a part of, and as much as they’re certain everyone appreciates it… often, they all leave him to his own devices when he seems tired.

Probably because being in such close quarters all the time, they all figure that he’d rather take time to himself when he can get it. To a point, that’s true… but, sometimes (Name) notices when he might like some time where he isn’t quite alone. Of course, he’d never ask for company. So here they are, among the busy grounds of a circus, a slower-paced role than the others, ready to help their lover relax.

It’s actually relaxing for them, too, so it serves a dual purpose. How can they not slip into a slow trance? The movements of working effort into the typically sore parts of his body just make a wave of calm wash over them. Even though they can acknowledge that they’re not exactly at rest, they also find it hard to think of this as ‘work’.

He’s so exhausted tonight, too. His eyes keep slipping closed, only to suddenly jolt himself awake. It’s like he thinks he’s obligated to not fall asleep while he’s with them.

Whether it’s because they subconsciously think he needs his rest, or because they’re intentionally trying to lull him, they start to hum as they go along… and, then, they progress to singing softly.

“A little while a little love the hour yet bears for thee and me who have not drawn the veil to see if still our heaven be lit above thou merely, at the day’s last sigh, hast felt thy soul prolong the tone; and I have heard the night-wind cry and deemed its speech my own.”

They hear Jumbo take a deep breath, and he shifts around a little bit. When he speaks in that same hushed tone he uses around them, (as if he’s worried he’ll suddenly frighten them somehow), it makes their heart melt. “Oi… don’t usually get t’ ‘ear y’ singin’…”

Of course, that only means they have to continue. Is he hoping they’ll stop out of some self-conscious, blushing shyness? Perhaps it’s something he assumes because they’ve witnessed him do it; stop something just because they’ve ‘caught’ him doing it. Singing, especially. While he plays the harmonica and clearly loves music, he seems to think he’s not a good singer.

They’ll work on that bit of insecurity next. For now, they glide their hands down to the small of his back, find another knot, and begin to massage it away. Their voice doesn’t miss a beat.

“A little while a little love the scattering autumn hoards for us whose bower is not yet ruinous nor quite unleaved our songless grove only across the shaken boughs we hear the flood-tides seek the sea, and deep in both our hearts they rouse one wail for thee and me.”

He tries very hard to keep his noises to a minimum. Even when they’re at the end of the knot, and it finally uncoils, he seems to bite his tongue to avoid being too loud.

They can feel the relief that washes over him, but he still strives to be quiet. With that knot out of the way, they give a long, slow stroke to the whole of his back; almost an apology for that healing pain they were causing a minute ago. Much as they try to be careful, the nature of massaging knots out of someone’s muscles results in some pain.

“Are you alright?” they murmur before giving a kiss to the top of his head.

Thank God, his eyes have closed again. He needs as much sleep as he can get. If they can be of any help in his surrendering himself to it, they’ll do whatever they can. “I am.” When they reach to give his hand a brief squeeze, he runs his thumb over the back of their knuckles. “… Y’ gonna keep singin’?”

They smile. “Do you want me to?”

The only answer they get is a small nod. They might as well finish the song, mightn’t they?

“A little while a little love may yet be ours who have not said the word it makes our eyes afraid to know that each is thinking of not yet the end; be our lips dumb in smiles a little season yet: I’ll tell thee, when the end is come, how we may best forget.”

Although they won’t be sure he’s fallen asleep until they look, his breathing has fallen into a more tranquil rhythm.

They continue to sing anyway, keeping their voice low; a lullaby for the one they love as he rests.

The party started at 1:01 am, when Twitter reminded me that the countdown had begun, my last year as a minor.

Then, in the morning we went to the market to buy some things for the party. I thought they would buy me something over there and I ended up buying things for my fish xD

An aquatic plant and a waterfall filter, which cost me $280 MXN, The lady who sold it to me already knows me and Nicolás, so she was very happy to know that it is fine and was impressed to see that I take great care of it uwu

Then the fun part began! The cake!

My birthday was quite simple, nothing pretentious or extravagant, but I'm happy with it, because as I grew up I realized that in these moments the most important thing is to be accompanied and that at least your loved ones remember you, it's nice to see how the people who really care about you congratulate you ❤️💕

Now, to live to the full what remains of being a minor, like each stage in life you have to live it as if it were the last!

Spending actual money to produce their own fan fictions after their characters get terrible endings.

As someone in both got and spn fandoms, this is just weird. If someone “et tu brute”s Kit I will literally die laughing. I really hope Jon insists that Ghost gets more screen time now that they don’t have 3 dragons and a bunch of wights to cgi.

I have not watched spn since around season 6, but I have heard about what's going on through tumblr. I'm less surprised on that front, 1 - because spn became clownery a long time ago, and 2 - it's the CW.

But I'm also not totally surprised that HBO is trying to go the Star Wars & Marvel route and just pump out as much media for an IP as possible to make as much money as possible.

I think Kit cares and if GRRM is involved, I hope that means a good show, but also, I don't know HOW Kit interprets his character and we don't know HOW involved GRRM will be.

(my ranting about this spinoff got quite long, so under a cut. this is genuinely a rant about the show, you've been warned)

I also am quite sure we won't get Jonsa, but that's my personal opinion and I know a lot of people are really hoping for it. And if it happens, amazing! I just... this show genuinely broke me. I have no hope that I will ever be happy with anything GOT again. Not a spinoff or prequel, I don't think the books will ever come out... I think the best we'll ever get is an outline of what would have happened after GRRM dies.

What I would want out of the show is for Sophie and Maisie to return. Sophie because literally how could you do a Jon show without her? Sansa is the QitN. Like unless Jon just hops on a boat and fucks off to Essos, how does he not encounter her? Obviously Bran and Arya are easier to explain away if they don't show up, just due to distance, but I was so disappointed with how little screentime Arya and Jon got together. Of all the siblings, they had the best relationship in the beginning and then the reunion was just... nothing. Honestly same with Sansa & Arya, because the chance we got to see them be badasses together was ruined by making it look like they were fighting for a whole season. So dumb. How amazing would it have been if we could have seen Sansa & Arya working together to fuck with Baelish?? But once again, D&D needed everything to be a SHOCKING TWIST, so we didn't.

And yes. 100% more Ghost screentime. It is actually unreal to me how much the dragon/D stuff took over. Nearly every single thing that happened with the Starks in the last 2 seasons were in service of the D plotline, and trying to hide that she was a villain for as long as possible. Bran and Arya barely got screentime, Sansa was presented as bitchy and rude around D to hide the fact that she was actually right & D was the villain, and Jon got turned into one of those pull string dolls that can only repeat the same 3 lines over and over again with no real personality.

(this also applies to Tyrion, who's character was also ruined the minute he got sucked into the D vortex)

Also, for the news that EC will not be returning... I really hope that's true and not just some dumb "no, Jon Snow is really dead, we promise uwu" bullshit. As someone else said (I think @esther-dot) they really screwed with her by not letting her know Dany's end for so long (but then I also think... girl, didn't they tell you to study Hitler speeches to prepare? How did that not clue her in? They must have gaslit her HARD, which makes me feel so bad for her.)

ANYWAY. This got so off topic. I just genuinely, 3 years later, cannot get over how bad the show ended and how completely they ruined every character and plotline. And maybe I'm just a pessimist, but I have no faith this spinoff will do anything to fix it. This show truly and utterly has ruined me & the way I consume/enjoy media.

All that being said, I will watch it, and I will let Jon Snow absolutely destroy me again.

Where have I been?

Hi, Victoria here! ^^

Sorry for not posting or tell anyone of my progress after the news of Technoblade’s passing that also not only made me sad but it also made me toke a two week break from writing. Right now I am back in writing but at the small slow pace as I am trying to world build my story well without rushing it to make it ugly

So far I am definitely gonna think new ways to improve Prologue 3 which is not yet made as I haven't like decided how to start it so I apologize but I will work it on august hopefully however Im sure those who knows what is happening with Genshin.

We got leaks of what Sumeru is like (Rip Primos and wallets to everyone) and Im very excited as everyone who read my main Sagau or Sagau crossover of DSMP/SBI reader Sumeru and Snezahaya are the only ones who are not involved of the Imposter chase which i will try my best to explain why only those two nations did not hunt us down while rest such as Natlan and Fontaine hunted us down when one of them are supposedly could help us but I won't spoil why as I am waiting for Natlan and Fontaine to come so that I can work my way on them without making the characters in those nations look OOC when they are not out yet TwT

And of course the famous teaser that is about the Harbingers reaction to Signora’s death to which I did not expect it revealed all Harbingers��and damn I wonder how the main SAGAU writers will write about them especially Regrator who caught my interest with Arlecchino UwU

But uh back in the Topic 😂

So like currently I am suffering a huge skin allergies which is a pain in the neck and I have no idea when it will be gone which is quite sad and annoying as the itchyness is hard to control sometimes TwT But don't worry I am doing okay XD

Although a bit oof a news.

The technolade tribute will have a bit changes as i decided to make it around the imposter au of Sagau but this will be more of Reader and Techno centric so basically more onto the Dream SMP so for those who dont know Dream SMP or never watch but came here for the SAGAU you can read it or not read it since I only made my story just for fun and so far I already have massive ideas for the "Leave me Alone and Let me build my s**t" such as I now decided that there will be like changes since i just edit this today and this draft was like last week XD

And what changes is that Prologue one will have addition of a Torture scene that a friend wanted me to add and I thought it would fit considering I decided to go around my Prologues and Interlude to add the Dark themes since things will go dark and very much have high tension once we get to the main plot of how the story began or rather how Reader felt being chased along with being labeled as an imposter when she is not.

So around August there will be a short (or not short due to my brainstorming and OCD build up whoops 😂😂) Prologue 3.5 or which uh basically is before the actually Prologue 3. What i mean is that 3.5 will mostly be a calm before the storm which will be another short point of view of the characters before Doomsday and I know everyone is not happy when they are waiting for the Doomsday to happen and Ill be honest I myself always is not happy but I have to do it so I can break expectations and also 3.5 will have a Harbingers and you guys will have to figure out who the traitor that spoke to Dainsleif because its gonna be a plot twist when you realize it was not them but another character who I always used my support XD

I wont spoil much but I can say hopefully Prologue 3 Doomsday will be moved on September since I do full chapters once a month due to being busy irl and school. I hope you guys understand especially its not easy to make a huge build up plot with worldbuilding and trying to make the characters in character without making them go OOC.

But yes this month I will do my best to finish the Technoblade tribute with reader and I can say there will be angst, comfort and a bit of a hint of the future chapters of my main story OwO! Despite i am supposed to rest with Allergies I need to make sure you guys will get enough SAGAU x DSMP/SBI reader XD

So I hope you guys understand and Inbox is open for questions which I will answer in my own pace as I am trying to get these allergies healed TwT

Poked my head into some of @mysticdragon3md3′s thoughts regarding popularity with DimiClaude fanon and am happy to say I’m here to Talk (tee em).

I also saw the post from the user saying why they were falling out of love for the ship, and... yeah. The people they’re talking about, the generalized group of people who do certain things, definitely bother me as well.

I love that you pointed out Claude is not flirty and is just playful. It’s not the DimiClaude fandom alone unfortunately with that though - it’s the entire fanbase that views him as a flirt. And, according to Twitter, a slut. Yeah. Yeah. I know what they... “mean”... but it is still not him.

Them being annoyed with each other is also fanon and a very strange one. Never in Houses did Dimitri come across as being annoyed or bothered by him. In fact, they have friendly banter! Dimitri doesn’t get specifically exasperated at Claude, but that’s just more so how he is as a person and he sometimes doesn’t understand playfulness. That said, he does not berate Claude the way he berates others. There’s one instance I can think of where he berated Claude and that was in the DLC when they were talking to Aelfric for the first time.

In Hopes, same deal in AG. In fact, he’s quite fond of Claude in AG. GW itself was a well discussed mess in a lot of ways, and even then as a ship they didn’t have a lot of negativity. If nothing else it was an odd opposite, because even as enemies when Claude admitted he couldn’t defeat Dimitri alone, Dimitri just basically laughed, smirked and walked away. That’s like... the worst of their relationship in GW and it’s extremely mellow.

I think part of the problem some dmcl fans are facing are the fanon version of the ship rather than what they’re like in canon. It is definitely true that part of the dmcl fandom has absolutely warped the ship into being something it really isn’t and never was in canon. There’s also this whole thing about Dimitri being the dominant, feisty one with Claude being the uwu blushy one and it’s just... not them. Not as a pair canonically, and not individually. When Dimitri gets “dominant”, he’s, uh, not in a good mental state. It’s a mental illness that makes him like that and personally I’ve never appreciated seeing people use it for a kink for a ship. Normally I’d say people can like what they want, but I get the feeling a lot of dmcl fans have absolutely pushed their views onto others and driven fans away.

I will also say have absolutely, 150% come across those kinds of fans. The ones who refuse to listen to anyone else, but if your headcanons don't vibe with them then you’re just completely “wrong”. Not only do they portray the canon characterization poorly if portraying it at all, but they tend to also bring it down a racist route, which is... beyond ironic considering they should be the last ship that deals with that based on their characters and stories.

Engage kinda went wonky with a good few things regarding the previous lords, so I don’t see Dimitri being like that as some kind of definite canon. Actually, even in Heroes their interactions are friendly and calm. The “worst” banter they had was their swim alts, while on the opposite end we have the brave alts who apparently hang out together outside of the castlegrounds, and for so long that they can’t be of any help in a search for someone (which like lol how long you gotta be gone to have no idea and can’t help at all lmao).

I think people see outside-Houses canon scenes like those and just... decide it’s their actual canon. Dimitri is not, in any way, actually mean to Claude in canon. That is unfortunately a very popular fanon. In Houses especially, when Dimitri doesn’t know Claude well in the mock battle he’s more like ummm hey Claude your defenses are open what are you even doing, more than being like ugh Claude you’re so annoying. In the real version of that mock battle though, a good few months had passed and their battle quotes are significantly more approachable and they clearly have respect for each other. Dimitri knows Claude likes to fuck around and be goofy sometimes, and he picked up on that and played along with it in the JP version (in the English version he simply picks up on it, but there’s no anger whatsoever and it’s just more oh okay I get it).

As far as Engage goes, ultimately I just see it more as an extremely condensed version of their mannerisms, and yes, they for some reason, especially in the localized versions, try to keep up the whole rival shtick when Dimitri never even felt that way about Claude, and he never gets truly annoyed at Claude. Ffs, in canon Dimitri literally drops everything after retaking his home from the Empire/TWS, and runs to go save Claude. Literally. The next day. While Claude is a little tsun about it (!), Dimitri is just “come on let’s go hurry hurry no slowing down pick up the pace we are saving Claude”, and that’s basically him the entire chapter except with the Arundel specific stuff. When he talks to Claude one on one, there is literally not a single shred whatsoever in any plausible way or in any damn universe any tension from Dimitri to Claude. He just wants to know he’s okay and relaxes once he knows Claude isn’t hurt. I mean literally, no, like... that’s them, in canon, in their Natural Habitat together and I have no fucking clue how the portrayal of them in fanon got so insanely warped beyond recognition.

Also, Engage kinda dropped the ball with a lot of stuff with the other lords. Hell, they’ve been unable to keep Ike’s character consistent throughout all of his non-canon appearances (Awakening didn’t seem too bad, but Fates was pretty awful for example. They can’t seem to really understand the character they’re writing anymore, and idk if it’s just because the writers have changed and such/aren’t the same as Tellius’ games had, or they just don’t care to keep him consistent).

They also try to make Sigurd sound wise and super helpful in every single solitary iteration of him outside of FE4 which is honestly just obnoxious as fuck lmao. Sigurd was naive, foolish, overly trusting, and far too kind and gentle for his own good. It ultimately was what led to him following orders blindly, having blind faith that his king was righteous and would give him the right orders (without realizing the court was very much in disarray during his absence and with several other prominent court figures away because of the war). Sigurd was too quick to believe in the good in humanity and that things would work out, and it led to him not realizing how wrong he was until it was way too late and he had to take shelter in a foreign country to avoid having to fight the same people’s armies who had the court’s ear.

Basically Sigurd is nothing like they write him to be in every. single. solitary. iteration. outside of FE4.

(SPOILER here just in case you care lol. Or anyone who is reading this. Or if you’re someone who somehow does not know about the biggest known spoiler in the whole game) He has one little section of potential dialogue (i.e. it’s triggered by a very specific condition) that shows somehow ghosty Sigurd has grown more wise and understanding ??? while being dead ??? and somehow learned while being dead that the world do be full of grief and Stuff. (END SPOILER)

So they pretty much took like, two lines of dialogue from FE4 and made it Sigurd’s entire fucking character forever in every single game he’s been in since. If nothing else, let that be your insight on never to trust content you see outside of a character’s original game. At that point it’s simply fanservice because they don’t even know their own characters. If they wanted to write even a semblance of Actual In Game Sigurd’s Personality And Not Two Lines Of Dialogue That Are Completely Optional And Quite Honestly HIDDEN, it would be very easy and reasonable to do so. They choose not to, and then we get what they did with Houses’ lords.

Another portrayal I see too often is that Dimitri and Claude... argue??? I won’t lie, their Heroes summer alts was the very first time they even seemed to “argue”, and it was mostly just goofy nonsense that means nothing because they’re literally alts in swimsuits, and it wasn’t really them being vicious at each other. Meanwhile in canon, they’re always very calm and able to talk through their problems - even in fucking Hopes in the GW route. Even in the worst possible circumstances for them to be in, that is, as enemies, they were still able to talk it through. Barring Claude’s written in idiocy so he could be a mouthpiece for Edelgard and do her bidding by invading the Kingdom (which was literally nothing but plot convenience because Actual Claude would’ve reasoned his way out of doing that), even in the worst possible situation, they still called a truce and still worked things out verbally, calmly and peacefully.

Point being, this whole cat fight dmcl portrayal isn’t even remotely close to their canon selves, and normally I’d say, you know, like what you want and enjoy your ships how you want... but it’s pretty much almost entirely the people who view the ship that way that uh, attack people who don’t agree with them or insult them/laugh at them for seeing the ship differently. These are the people who make you feel bad, for enjoying a fictional ship of two pixelated characters kissing, because you don’t like the concepts in their head more than the way you’ve interpreted the canonical characters.

To be totally frank, I have a visceral hatred for the fanon portrayal of dmcl because it makes Dimitri out to be terrible and makes Claude some kind of punching bag for Dimitri in various forms. There comes a point where it’s like, you ship something and then there’s the point where you ship two characters you made up in your head, who aren’t the same characters you first started to ship, because you’ve warped them so extensively that they became nothing but a person’s OCs with their faces and some similar backstory elements at best.

#DCB Comments #not sure what else to put this as but yeah... the dmcl fandom is not that large tbh and #what it does have is extremely divided and a lot of the fans can be completely ignorant of how poorly they handle Claude #especially in a franchise that already poorly handled him re: Hopes #but also I know exactly the kind of people you're talking about... and they're also hypocrites so.#they're the ones who shit on others for having different views of the same ship and decide you are inarguably ''wrong'' for your takes #also mind you if you call 'em out for that they get uwu mad and it spirals from there bc then they gotta vent to their #uwu friends who do the exact same things they do. can you tell I'm literally speaking from actual experience?! :D #like yeah I get it... a lot of the dmcl fandom in particular is gross about Claude #I personally prefer Dimitri as a character for a lot of reasons but when I began shipping them I didn't love Claude /as/ much as now #shipping them got me to look more into Claude as a person and I started loving him more as well #thanks to loving this ship I got to know him more and understand him more /and/ that made me love the ship more #also like it's one thing to have AUs and modern AUs in fics and stuff... bur just don't do... you know... things worth side eying #also if you have to change the dynamic of the ship to make it how you like it then you... probably don't actually like the ship itself #it's the same as with people warping characters to create a personality put onto a face #it's what a lot of Edel stans even do. they make up who they want her to be instead of seeing her for who she is #and they like the made up version of her more than the actual version so in that sense they don't really like who she is in the canon #not all of them are like that and some DO like her for who she is (which could be... arguably WORSE in her case lol)#but it's the same thing with ships. they alter the dynamic and just want to use the pretty faces #which by itself would be fine ig. confusing af to me but fine. not fine anymore though when it starts becoming an actual fandom problem #ppl take ''fandom drama' too lightly most often imo. I don't think ppl realize this kind of bullying over the internet #has a lasting impact and that seeing words on a screen doesn't make them any better or worse than how they'd be irl #in a sense it makes it more cowardly if anything bc ppl fear no repercussions for what they say :/

He wants to name it smth like Ddongsik. And like no offense to anyone who likes that name. I am sure it is a great name. BUT WHY FOR A KITTEN ?? Like when you look at that teeny tiny kitten that mewls whenever hee tries to get it off his lap and you're like OHH YEAH DDONGSIK IS A GOOD NAME FOR THIS PRECIOUS BABY UWU

So you tell Hee. "Baby, we are not naming our child Ddongsik" and at first we gets all blushy and stuff over calling the kitten "our child" and whatnot till he realizes you don't approve of the name. And he wants to argue and is about retort when you tell him that you hear Ddongsik you imagine a 49 year old Korean guy eating watermelon and reading newspaper, who then yells for someone to give him his reading glasses. Kshdkjfhr You tell him to look at Minho (skz) who has cats with such cute names :(((

Misaki stood there in silence as the Hatter put the final touches on her new gown, this one red with a touch of black and red rose accents. It fit her very well and was rather breathable, but her opinion on the visual beauty of it remained neutral. It looked like the other dresses he had created to her, even if this one did not match any of the others.

She simply didn’t have an eye for fashion or Ren’s passion anymore, sadly just like for most everything.

“Are you finished now, Hatter?” She asks, simply staring blankly at the full body image of herself reflected in a mirror. “Kai told me to leave after you finished to make sure I am not late for my appointment with the March Hare.”

(Broken! Misaki uwu)

His creations weren’t making her smile the way she had when they were kids.

Still... He found her to be beautiful in them regardless.

❝ Not quite, there’s something...off. But what? Hm... ❞ He peeks around from where he had been lacing up the back of the dress to take a gander at her reflection as well. Wine red hues narrow as he stares back at them from the mirror. After a moment he thinks he’s found the problem. ❝ Perhaps a black dress would’ve been better for this particular design. That would have made the red roses really stand out. ❞

Ren was dragging his fingers lightly across the outer layer of fabric outlining her figure, tracing around one of the roses he had adorned the dress with. It was an excellent dress, all things aside. But somehow it had begun to left a bitter taste in his mouth. But before it could hit him that he had remade the very dress his father had once destroyed he was dragged from his thoughts at the mention of Kai.

--That damn rabbit... Misaki realized she was the one in charge and not him, right?

❝ Did he now..? I think the White Rabbit has wound that clock of his far too tight, if you asked me. But I suppose I can let you go without too much of a fuss this time around. I just finished anyway... The last thing I’d want to do is usurp that strict schedule he has you under. Now that would be rather cruel on my part. Jokes aside, Ren smooths down the fabric draping over Misaki’s shoulders, creating a clean line in her silhouette. He never liked sending the queen off in a gown he wasn’t a hundred percent satisfied with, but... Looking at her now as he stepped out from around her to take in the full view he seems rather content with the finished product they produced together. It was like they were kids again, almost. Even now he can recall piecing together hats from his father’s scraps and gifting the mismatched patchwork to the young heiress only to be returned with the purest smile he had ever laid his eyes upon. Even if Misaki wasn’t smiling on the outside anymore, he still seems to be satisfied. To Ren, Misaki was simply smiling on the inside. Surely.

Misaki was one of the few people Ren had considered honest. She had never humored him, never lied when saying she had loved his creations. Every concern, joy and fear she expressed for him was always genuine. So to him, her silence was just as good as outspoken appreciation or acceptance of both him and his pieces.

I wasn’t sure if I was happy with this one but once again you showed me just how wrong I can be. ❞ He starts his finishing routine, circling around her in search of pins and needles he might’ve left in the various folds and layers of the garment during the fitting process. He sticks each one he procures into the pincushion he had strapped to his wrist, the very one his father used to wear when fitting the late Queen before Misaki. And while Ren very much enjoyed the prospect of wasting the White Rabbit’s time, considering the March Hare was next on Misaki’s schedule he makes rather short work of this step. He remembers the exact number of pins, and their location after all. For he’d never allow Misaki’s skin to be poked and prodded needlessly.

Still, he hums a small tune as he finishes up. Moments like this, where it was quiet and it was just the two of them... they take him back to simpler times. Times before they were the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts. Times before Kai was around, and before... Alice.

A lot has changed, with them as well as with Wonderland itself. But one thing hasn’t changed. His magnum opus, Ren’s very reason for surviving the maddening trials it took to take on his role as the Hatter. Misaki had become everything to Ren, and he dedicated his life to perfection so he could stay by her side. A Hatter always achieved perfection, it was something that was drilled into his head since the very beginning. And Misaki was perfect in every way. The very image of what he could never see in his father’s works he found in Misaki. He wished to encapsulate it, perhaps even find with her a ‘perfect’ that was more than perfect. Something the previous generation before them could never hope to create.

Ah, but all good things must come to an end it seems. Ren could practically hear the insistent tapping of the White Rabbit’s foot outside the studio’s door signaling time was up. How impatient could one be? Always spoiling his fun, that guy. Ren sighed and shrugged, the last of the pins nestled cheekily between his teeth as he flashed her a grin. After years of knowing both ends of a needle he didn’t seem to mind the risk of handling them in such a haphazardly way.

I have an anonymous confession to make (although it's kinda just me complaining for a bit. You're one of the only ppl I feel I can whine to abt this. I hope this is okay!). So I am into stuffing as a kink, and the well of content for that in the Sally Face fandom is so darn dry! 😫 It doesn't help that I'm suuuuper picky abt it; I only really like it soft and in the realm of realism, so there has not been much content that checks those boxes for me. Ofc, the solution would be to make said content myself, but rn I'm too chicken. As someone who's not a chicken, have you still experienced such a lack of kink content in a fandom you want to see it for?

Who knows, maybe there are other people in the fandom that are into the same stuff, and they'll find your content and be inspired to contribute as well! :D Once you start, you'll gain confidence as you go (trust me, there are still some kinks I haven't discussed much on the blog that I'm working up the courage to and very slowly introducing, so don't feel bad about being shy and starting small!)

uhhhhhhh well. in the years since consistent activity I have:

Started, Subscribed, and MSQ/Major sidequest Cleared FFXIV and it occupies my brain like a parasitic worm (but I love it) as goes most people who get into it it seems. For those wondering started with WHM and have run it through just about everything so I'm fairly confident I am at least Somewhat Competent in pretty much everything except Savage and Alexander raids (shudders in Eyes of the Creator if you know you know)

Not only that but have main 5 categories of battle class leveled- WHM for healer, PLD for tank, MNK for melee, DNC phys ranged, RDM caster

I should stop talking about FFXIV help

I think I've changed jobs??? still call center-based work boo been there two years and I Hate It Homie (but hey 16/hr without a degree is hard to beat)

my cringe ass ff.net is poised for deletion as I've got ebook back ups of everything I just can't commit yet (and might not have to since I hear. Gasping Dying rumors about ff.net being on last legs)

I've developed a hobby of making FEH wlw ships- Azura/Deirdre, Mathilda/Lilith, Nagi/Natasha, Felicia/Selena (sacred stones) to throw some out -and stubbornly want to write fic but can't seem to figure out how to finish it oops

also generally feel awkward posting on AO3 because I don't really agree with their "you can write fic of actual people" stance but also Where Else Post Fic but also jokes on me I can't finish fic anymore

speaking of I did contribute to a zine or two with the Invincible Zine group over on twitter a handful of Duo Unit scripts and a 5k one shot on the Horrors of Adrift Corrin

("Katie isn't that the "uwu" corrin alt that looks after baby azura what is possibly horrifying about that" you ask and to which I respond "eldritch horror of being a dream-based sentient clone made real babeyyyyyyyyyyyy" and I didn't even use all my concepts and ideas)

Genshin Impact made a character I finally was willing to eat the lore for Miss Shenhe I love you so much what a wlw icon I think I did reblog something of her earlier but yea love

Played through Persona 5 Royal was a good game but I have never seen a game Say So Much and Nothing At All at the same time while also contradicting itself (and somehow in 100+ hours of gameplay even on 2nd easiest difficulty and w/ a friend and a guide hello). Core cast is poggers tho love these high schoolers and I don't think anyone would be surprised to hear I love futaba the most

Have kinda accepted that I've fallen out of love with KH and frankly don't feel a lot of hype for 4. 3 was a solid gameplay entry with some neat use of worlds for the filler plot but the more time goes on the more disappointed I get with how it handled resolving anything from all the build up, shafting it in favor of setting up a game that doesn't even exist yet.

Because of this I REALLLLY loved Endwalker and was very happy to play it on release (oops back on XIV braincell)

I do miss RikuVen tho and think about how Re:Mind validated the hell out of me by confirming Riku hung out with the Wayfinders and to the lil guys out there making content big fucking salute I'm sorry I'm a bitter woman who couldn't handle expectations.

Have a wild ass idea about XIV/Fates crossover to give an excuse for Ysayle/Corrin to exist they are just about perfect together but can't quite figure out how to make a plot to justify it that I'm satisfied with

I made a quotes bot on twitter that may not last much longer but eh

Gotten really into The Oh Hellos not out of any christian love but moreso the lyrics are just (chef kiss)

TAZ Ethersea season one was. Okay? It started really strong but fell off like the shoreline which was. sad. I can hope season 2 learns better from the mistakes there but also can't be too mad improv-based storytelling is hard to 100% nail

is that everything? I think that's like everything. still me just now several years older and just a smidge wiser and man I'm gonna be 26 in like. a week.
