Putting my incredibly loose theory out there before the episode drops tonight:

I genuinely believe at the very least KLCK is knowingly doing “immoral” shit for her own benefit. HOWEVER. I am also fully conspiracy theorizing that the reason KLCK has been so sneaky specifically in regards to “shielding” Oisin from what she’s doing is because she’s afraid of him being susceptible to getting rage-crystaled due to heightened feelings of anger, betrayal, and injustice.

I also fully believe that while the rest of the Rat Grinders may not have been treating Lucy fully in good faith that ultimately she was killed as a result of HER getting rage-crystaled. Lucy being overtaken with feelings of anger, betrayal, and injustice. We already know she wasn’t happy with the “rat grinding” OR the implied pressure to change her deity based on how Yolanda and Ruben spoke of her.

Then the Lucy situation ends up being what sparks the heightened concern in Kipperlilly towards Oisin since he’s pretty conclusively shown to be the second most prone to actually stand up for what’s “morally right” based on what we’ve seen from him thus far.

Which I believe will still ultimately culminate in Oisin finding out and being overtaken regardless. Due to spoilers from that one battle set in the trailer where they’re in a flying boat (*I look at the unaccounted for cloud engine*) battling against a blue dragon (*I look at the rage-crystal wizards just being insanely jacked versions of themselves*).

Either accidentally due to the lack of communication between The Bad Kids who believe The Rat Grinders to all be 100% immoral revealing everything to Oisin under the assumption that he’s been in on it.

OR on purpose at a specific time and place, meaning that rather than KLCK being worried about Oisin being overtaken in general she’s worried about it happening before she wants it to. Which with this theory would also imply to me that maybe someone being rage-crystaled is necessary to bring Ankarna back and that Lucy was intentionally rage-crystaled but in the wrong place (as KLCK was inquiring about how to create/rebirth Gods and discovered it needs to be done in “the correct place” in order to work). So the ritual failed and she’s trying it again but needs it to be done right this time.

Throwing this theory out into the ether because I genuinely believe that from the episode previews Kristen will bring Lucy back but Lucy will still be dealing with the rage-crystal consequences (explaining Brennan acting out someone gasping “awake” and going straight into pained/angered screaming)

I can grin and bear a lot of Maedhros slander. But giving him, the OG Thingol hater, pre- Quenya ban and Silmaril Quest even, who is trying to unite all of Beleriand in his Union against Morgoth and who will kill himself to never have to relinquish the Silmaril he eventually retrieves, the exact same opinions as Thingol rather than Celegorm and Curufin on the Silmaril Quest is where I draw the line.

You really think the guy who's trying to get everyone he can on board is gonna be angry at C&C for trying to recruit a hidden (ergo useless to him) realm to his cause rather than the flip-flopping elves of Nargothrond and Finrod's willingness to throw his own brothers and their family oath and labour of their fathers SOUL-literally-under the bus for a stranger and the heiress of the guy who is content to sit and try to wait out Morgoth (who herself has no plans whatsoever to eventually help out with that or try to convince her father to chip in a bit)? Instead of Beren and Luthien's selfish "politics? what politics?" attitude or Thingol for the temerity to set the quest in the first place? On my hands and kness begging people to stop trying to strip Maedhros from his canonical demonstrated character traits, motivations, opinions, loyalties and strength of character (and pride. Dear lord let Maedhros have his canonical pride. Not everyone is secretly an insecure, self-loathing mess and there's NOTHING to suggest this in Maedhros in particular. Seems primarily like people tying his potential scars from Thangorodrim to self-worth issues, what a novel concept. The guy is the lynchpin holding the Noldor and their resistance together, he is performing and leading better than literally anyone else, there's nothing to be insecure and angsty ABOUT except general war-related unpleasantness).

If it was Maedhros he would have either killed Beren on the spot disguised as an unfortunate casualty once he made clear he wasn't dissaduated by the oath or smiled and waved him off to Angband with a "good luck" and imprisoned Luthien for negotiations with Thingol and a "took care of your suitor problem AND got your daughter safe in custody, what have you got for me in return?" when she came looking for Beren, be for real now.

For sure as we see with C&C and Nargothrond #but they didn't cry themselves to sleep as losing all hope over losing those resources #the Feanorians are kind of a big deal especially in the lead-up to the Nirnaeth you know?

I'm not the first to say it but I'm gonna say it anyways cause why the hell not, right? if we're gonna take the stranger things' logic of nancy jumping in after steve being known as an "unambiguous sign of true love" or whatever, then wouldn't that mean robin is in love with nancy cause she jumped in faster after nancy than nancy did for steve or does that logic only apply for just hetero ships?

been saving Mass Effect 3 to play after going to the mechanics as a treat, and my appointment is tomorrow. so im going to drop my car off and come straight home to jump into ME3 .... I can't wait ...

This is (my in-game recreation of) her counterpart shard ^-^

(Cessair is apparently an Irish name meaning “sorrow” or “affliction”, so part of me is tempted to call her Thirteenth counterpart Tristezza, which means “sorrow” in Italian. But I’m not sure if I will go that far yet; my focus is moreso on Cessair herself. I have quite inexplicably gotten attached to her despite this encyclopaedia entry and Cait Sith’s dialogue during the Shadows of Mhach quests being just about the only information to exist regarding her. When Lorenza enters the Source in the main story, it is the third time she has done so. Appearing to Cessair in the Fifth Astral Era was the second! The first was to the Allagans.

How do I know Cessair had counterpart shards, you might ask? Because you can see her unsundered self in the game as well - next to Cait Sith, at that!)

(..You would not believe how much trouble I had to go through to unmask her and the others. But I got there in the end!)

oh also, enough time has passed I think, and I want to throw out my most insane, ridiculous, absolutely silly prediction, and that is that we're going to get a Mario Sunshine remaster within the next few years bc Nintendo had to develop a goop physics system for TotK, and the goop physics are eerily similar to Sunshine's goop physics, but I have a hard time believing they managed to port the code from GameCube to Switch for...goop physics
