why i have abysmally low expectations for the fnaf movie, as someone who has been a fan of fnaf since 2015 or something:
ok. to start. I looked at the director's page on imdb, and her only other movies have been low rated. This is not a good sign. But, of course, I have seen first hand how wrong the movie critics can be about a subject. Past performance is not an indicator of future results. Necessarily. So this cannot be submitted as hard evidence as to why it might suck huge nuts, to put it plainly.
This film is also being produced by Blumhouse. Blumhouse has a few good movies, sure, but mainly it's average, very much imo, though. When I heard that BH was producing, I fell into a fit. The FNAF movie deserves to be show-stoppingly good. BH will likely not produce a movie that critics will enjoy. It will, at best, be kind of good. But most likely it will not be a good movie.
once again, past performance/future results, but still. the sample size is large enough to make predictions, as opposed to the director, who has only directed two movies.
They should have let me write and direct it. Just saying.
OK. I don't expect that there will not be much lore in this movie. They're bringing this down to nine year-old levels. Those are poopy diaper baby levels. This is THE child death series. And they're marketing it to kids who weren't even there in the trenches.
I'm aware I'm gatekeeping. However, I think it's fair enough considering the levels of child death, gore, killing, and all around unpleasantness depicted in the series.
The addition of the quirky little girl -- ostensibly to provide sympathy for the main character -- is bullshit. We all know she's going to wander off. Because kids in horror movies don't know how to follow directions. She's going to wander off, almost get killed or something, and the whole time we're supposed to be like "OH MY GOD! No way! There can't be child death in the Child Death series!" And there won't be! Because this is a studio film marketed to nine year-old boys. Nevermind the likely PG-13 rating.
But the girl won't die. She only exists for the main character to get into Situations. Shenanigans. Scenarios. And we're supposed to be scared for her.
I'm not sure why they included the whole forest with the children thing; maybe to stretch it out? Watching Josh Hutcherson press buttons and check security feeds can't be that entertaining, anyway. I'm not sure what they're trying to do with it, because the trailer already has him saying that their spirits are in the suits, iirc. So that's not the reveal. It has me worrying that they're going to try and shove the most simplified version of the lore into one movie. In my experience, they do this with movies they're not confident are going to gross well enough for a franchise. See the travesty that is Ms. Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. So the appearance of Springtrap is a concern. It looks like Springtrap at least, or maybe it's Afton before the Squishening in the Easter Bonnie suit.
Why is Vanessa there? Vanny? I wonder if this is also going to be a false start, like the whole thing with Mike Schmidt is likely going to be. In all likelihoods, they're going to set her up as a love interest. But even if they don't, her involvement is baffling.
I'm worried, to say the least. This is all just speculation. But I'm not going to go into the theater expecting a good movie. All I want is for the series to not be fucked around with. Is that too much?

What is your writing ritual and why is it cursed?
i don't have a writing ritual, which is probably a contributing factor to why i never finish anything. wherever i'm writing, though, i have terrible posture. does that count?
What’s a word that makes you go absolutely feral?
so many... big fan of anything to do with like. things that aren't quite there? intangible. phantom. psychosomatic. ghost. hollow. echo. infinite. vanish. opaque. lost. almost.
What is your deepest joy about writing?
when someone mentions a detail or makes a connection with something i've written and i go YES THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I MEANT!!! YOU GOT IT!!!
Has a piece of writing ever “haunted” you? Has your own writing haunted you? What does that mean to you?
i'm easily haunted by poetry... here are a few of my faves
stairs appear in a hole outside of town
here, now, gone
fifteen years of spring
the nature of living
rose petal jam
i'm haunted very differently by my own writing tbh, in the "hey remember that story and all the great ideas you had that you never ever wrote down so each day they fade a little more? yeah. still no idea how to connect the necessary dots tho" kind of way
Choose a passage from your writing. Tell me about the backstory of this moment. How you came up with it, how it changed from start to end. Spicy addition: Questioner provides the passage.
i tried to find something from a published work but instead you're gonna get a passage from my 10k+ prospect wip "victors"
In the meantime, his death has been… a hurdle. A complication. They’ll sell the aurelac and split the money and she’ll figure it out from there. She has to narrow her focus to that or everything starts to spiral. There are job boards; surely there are apprenticeship boards, or something near enough, something she can do while she really weighs her options. She shrugs, a bit frustrated. “I can’t sell the stuff without your help,” she points out. Ezra waves that off like it’s a minor hitch. “Oh, you’re right, I’ll just hop over to the nearest rare gem market. They’d never scorch an ignorant little girl.”
thoughts on it:
i was stuck on how ezra was going to respond to this for, i kid you not, two and a half years. december 2020 - june 2022. i changed two words in april but that was in an earlier section and had nothing to do with moving the story forward. what did help me move forward again? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ don't remember!
it took me a while to figure out a slang term that conveyed "take advantage of" and sounded plausible. i like "scorch" tho
aurelac is whack. they're gems the size of fists, worth tons of points. what are points? what are they used for? what in the heck is the thing they're harvested from?? they're so macguffiny. i want to make resin replicas
it's bleak but i'm gonna say it: damon's life was a hurdle for cee and it's probably for the better he's dead
the seed of my story was inspired by a description of the movie (i don't remember if it was netflix or imdb) that calls ezra an outlaw. there is absolutely nothing in the movie itself that implies anything he does is outside of the law. i'm not saying his actions were moral, just that. y'know. for all we know, they weren't illegal. there's nothing in the movie about him hiding out or running from space cops or being wanted for crimes. again, he very much does coerce, kidnap, lie, kill, etc. but it's a space western and they're on the extreme fringes of society. nobody's even gonna go there after the time limit is up (presumably). everyone who's there is either after macguffins or stumbled over macguffins while there for ~reasons~ and wants in on the money the macguffins will provide. there's no reason to label him an outlaw. there is no law, far as i can tell. so then i was like well maybe he's wanted on some other planet and kinda went from there

Japanese horror films from the 1990’s and 2000’s have had an incredibly profound impact on the horror genre on a global size. These films’ unique ability to combine classical story telling and Japanese folklore with newer cinematic techniques propel these films as the innovative spear heads that they are. Withing this post we will explore the way that this genre of films has paved the way for the future of global horror by taking a look at the critically acclaimed films Ringu (1998) and Ju-on: The Grudge (2000) both of which have gone on to inspire horror movies across the globe.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ringu (1998) which we have spoken about frequently throughout this blog due to its massive impact on the genre, was directed by Hideo Nakata. The film paved the way for the incredibly popular genre of supernatural horror, which houses films like The Conjuring (2013), T he Blair Witch Project (1999), and Paranormal Activity (2009). Nakata paves the way for this genre to emerge, exploring tools such as atmospheric tension and eerie imagery, the film itself is a beacon for the films to come. So much so that America made a remake in 2002 called The Ring (2002) by Gore Verbinski.
youtube
This film followed the same plot with its older sister film Ringu (1998) where Rachel (played by Naomi Watts) is a Seattle- based journalist who begins to research the death of her niece after her sister asks her to, she then goes on a similar journey of discovering the possessed film which kills the watcher a week after they view the film. These two films share extraordinarily similar plot lines, and The Ring (2009) shares the same tactics that Ringu (1998) pioneered.
youtube
With the success of Japanese horror films in the 1990s and 2000s, this prompted production companies to invest in similar projects, both in Japan and abroad. Hollywood studios began acquiring rights to Japanese horror properties for remakes, leading to a wave of American adaptations such as "The Ring" (2002) and "The Grudge" (2004). This also began a trend of American films employing the same properties in the films that Japanese horror films had influenced. In the article “The Death of J-Horror?” by Nicholas Rucka they argue that this wave of inspiration coming from J-horror films has cause the death of the genre. Saying “Part of the problem with J-Horror, in my belief, is that the market has killed it. We have all been so inundated with A, B, and Z rated knockoffs that are full of the genre clichés, that there is no desire for any creativity anymore. But what's weird about the J-Horror phenomenon is that because it is J-Horror, the filmmakers seem to be afraid to step away from the genre tropes. It's almost like they're worried that their audience won't get it without the usual tricks.”
In conclusion, Japanese horror films of the 1990s and 2000s have had a lasting influence on other cinemas and filmmakers, shaping the way we approach and understand horror cinema. From iconic directors like Hideo Nakatato, production companies, the impact of these films can be felt across the global cinematic landscape. As we continue to explore the depths of Japanese horror, we uncover a rich tapestry of storytelling and innovation that continues to inspire and terrify audiences around the world.

How to Become a Screenwriter Mugafi
A screenplay writer or a Screenwriter is someone who writes scripts for mass media such as films, television, series, or games. It is more than just writing scripts. It involves all the details such as lighting, staging, sounds, direction, and a lot more things along with the dialogues. It is, basically, framing the entire movie or a scene exactly like it would be presented. Usually, the film screenwriters work closely with the directors and produce the movie together, whereas the television screenwriters are independent and have more control over the creative process.
Becoming a screenwriter is not a piece of cake but it also does not require very high qualifications. There is no specific degree required but it is better to have completed at least a bachelor’s as it improves creative thinking and offers great exposure to the world.
Step-by-step Guide to become a Screenwriter
The following are the procedure to become a screenwriter step-by-step.
Step-1: Start Writing
Just like any other career would require daily practice and consistent efforts, Screenwriting also asks you to be eager to learn each day and keep writing. Start working on that first draft of your first short movie or a television series.
Step-2: Learn how to write
Screenwriting is not just a set of dialogues, it is much more than that. And for that, it is important to learn how to write and frame the story. Read as many screenplays as you can and then watch the accompanying movies to understand how it works.
Step-3: Know the Business
After you know how to write and what you write, you must also know ‘what sells’ in the market. Subscribe to the publications that are in this business and understand what is the market’s demand. Also it will be better to check out the work that sells and learn from it.
Step-4: Get into the Industry
After everything, the best addition to enhance your knowledge would be to gain the necessary exposure. Join the industry. Start at any level, Intern, part-time or full-time. The more time you spend working with people from your field, the more will be your learning.
Step-5: Networking
Networking has the power to help you rise to the top much faster than you can imagine. Especially in an industry like this, where the right person could have life-changing powers, it is very important to build connections that last and provide you with potential opportunities.
Step-6: Participate in the writers group
Working with people with similar backgrounds provides a lot of learning opportunities. Every person has a different mindset, a different story, and a lot of experience to offer. Plus it is also a great platform to discuss and debate the show ideas or even plan something for the future.
Step-7: Build a Portfolio
So that every time you find a person who is interested in your work, you have something to present to them. Write query letters and synopses for your projects. This shows your passion and is usually impressive.
Step-8: Sell your work
There are many ways to showcase your work to the targeted audience. Share your screenplays with your connections on IMDB pro. You can also upload your work on public platforms like InkTip where many executives and directors come searching for their fit. You can also submit your projects to Film festivals.

What is the Standard Screenwriting Format?
There is a specific screenwriting format to be followed when writing. It is a 90-120 pages long document that is written in the 12-point Courier font size. To be specific, 8 1/2’’ x 11’’ bright white three-hole punched paper is used for the screenwriting.
The margin width is also with respect to each side of the page, i.e. 1.5 inch on the left side and 1 inch on the right, top, and bottom of the page. Each page consists of around 55 lines in total where the dialogue block starts from 2.5 inches on the left side of the page.
Also, the names of the characters must be in the uppercase and should be positioned at 3.7 inches from the left side. The page number is placed in the top right corner with a 0.5-inch margin from the page top where each number is followed by a period. The first page shall not be numbered.
Elements of Script Formatting
There are 8 elements of a script which are as follows:
Scene Heading– This helps the reader to distinguish and identify the story’s geography. It is used to break up the physical spaces in screenwriting.
Action– This is the description in brief of what is going to happen in the scene. This includes the visible and audible actions.
Characters– When introducing a character in a screenplay, his name is written in uppercase. Then the screenwriter describes his age, looks, personality, and other traits.
Dialogues– For each character, their dialogues will be set underneath their name. It does not require much formatting in screenwriting.
Parenthetical– These are used inside the dialogue to show small actions or changes in mood or a habitual thing without having to start another action.
Vital elements of Screenwriting
A few fundamental elements that are required in a screenplay areTheme, Character, and the Plot. These three elements when kept in sync with each other can give you a perfect story to tell.
In simple words, the theme drives the character through the plot. It might sound simple but it is not easy.
Right from the start, it is important to keep these three parameters in mind. Screenwriting is the most important creative aspect of a motion picture and people need to understand its value. Because if the story is not good enough, it will lose its value and importance over time.
The AV Script
The Audio/Visual script is a part of screenwriting that involves breaking down a script into its audio and visual parts. It is the most nerve-wracking part of this creative process as one has to jot down the details as it would be every minute of the story. These are used when a script is not visual enough and more detailed information about these effects is needed.
Conclusion
Screenwriting is the most important phase of production and thus requires the most amounts of knowledge and experience to fully understand and deliver a good screenplay. Hopefully, the above-mentioned points will be helpful in getting started and improving each day. Work hard, look for inspiration around you, and do not forget to reward yourself.

Dear Owl House fam,
A friend of mine wrote a letter to Disney that outlines reasons why they should not end The Owl House. He requested that I post it here in hopes that other fans will also write to Disney and, if you want, use this as a guide or template so feel free to use it!
Let’s all try to save The Owl House while we can!
Tumblr media
                                                   .........................
Dear Disney, and the Executive that Hates the Joy of The Owl House,
You may have noticed that there has been a great deal of outrage about your decision to cancel The Owl House. There are many reasons why people are so angry; hence, you should reconsider your decision. Some of the reasons are:
● This show has already won multiple awards, including multiple Emmys (pretty much the best award a show could possibly get), and a Peabody Award, which is a highly coveted honor.
● Your audience isn’t solely made up of toddlers and 5 year olds. Kids grow, and teenagers and adults are the ones with actual money. If your work grows and develops for older kids to teens, to adults with nostalgia, and adults with kids, you have increased the size of your market. You can sell merchandise to more people for longer. I don’t know if you noticed, but there are characters in The Owl House that would make for great plushies (Ex. King and Owlbert).
● The Owl House celebrates diversity in all its forms. The lead character is a girl of color. She has a single mom. There’s a character whose gender is non-binary, something that is basically NEVER represented. A character has 2 dads who love her fiercely, like any other parents would. Inversely, it also shows that there can be abusive parental pressure. So many dynamics, and such diverse representation really matters.
● The show genuinely shows a love for education, and pursuing your interests, instead of letting other people decide for you. Finding your own way to learn, and growing at your own pace.
● Cancelling a show without even consulting the writer is a dirty and underhanded trick. Allowing someone to state their case is the bare minimum in terms of respect. Cancelling a show that has a plot because it’s difficult to rerun is wrong, because if someone sees an episode and gets curious, the entire series is on Disney+, and they can look it up. Last I checked, getting people to use Disney+ was a huge piece of the Disney money-making machine.
● The pandemic has made things hard for everyone, no doubt about it. But cancelling a show of such high quality is wrong. 8.2/10 rating on IMDB, 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, 2 of the most trusted sites for rating movies and shows. To put that into perspective, that’s higher than Titanic 1997 (One of the top grossing movies of all time), EVERY Harry Potter movie (One of the highest grossing franchises of all time), Frozen, and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, to name a few.
In conclusion, I STRONGLY request that you reconsider your position, and allow The Owl House to continue to tell the stories of characters that people can relate to, a magical realm that’s perfectly imperfect, and the strong message that people (adults and children alike) can choose their own destiny.
Sincerely,
Your name

Doctor Who Series 13: Jodie Whittaker Leaving Rumours, the Next Doctor, and the Future
https://ift.tt/2SweahO
Jodie Whittaker is fast approaching that three-season milestone at which most Doctors pull the inter-dimensional rip-cord and eject themselves from the TARDIS. Speculation has swirled around her, as it does for most Doctors, from the very start of her tenure, and now, more than ever, there’s the strong scent of Regeneration in the wind. So, will Whittaker leave at the close of series 13? And if so, will any of her companions remain to bridge the gap between eras? Might showrunner Chris Chibnall also hang up his sonic-shaped pen? The BBC is playing its cards characteristically close to its chest, so divining the answers to these questions is not unlike trying to unlock the mystery of the Doctor’s real name.
There was an ample reminder of the BBC’s zeal for secrecy when Who-newcomer and beloved Liverpudlian John Bishop – cast last year as companion Dan – was rebuked for revealing during an online Q&A that his character, too, would be Liverpudlian. If the BBC don’t want you to know that a Liverpudlian might be playing a Liverpudlian, then this is going to be a bumpy ride. But let’s strap in, brace for impact, and see what’s (or Who’s) out there…
Jodie Whittaker on leaving
Everyone has their favourite Doctors, and not-so favourite Doctors. Jodie Whittaker is not alone in having had love and scorn heaped upon her in equal measure, a phenomenon that has touched most actors to have taken on the role, with the possible exception of Tom Baker and David Tennant, who stand as almost deified in their respective eras.
It’s clear, though, that Jodie Whittaker has loved every moment of being the Doctor, and of being embraced by the show’s fandom, telling the Telegraph in November 2020: “If you bump into a Whovian, it genuinely makes both of your days. There’s something emotional, poetic and very humbling about being in the show, because you’re a little tiny jigsaw piece of something that is so precious to so many people.” It’s perhaps understandable, then, that her response to the speculation around her departure was to say: “To even question an end point would be too upsetting.”
Or, to parrot one of her predecessors: “I don’t want to go.”
Where’s the evidence?
Over the last eighteen months, rumours that Jodie Whittaker will be leaving after season 13 have been endlessly shared and repeated. These rumours were reported as fact by some media outlets earlier in the year, though the BBC has steadfastly refused either to confirm or deny them. It does, however, seem more likely than not that 13 will be 13’s last; a supposition based upon the ‘Who Rule of Three’ and the unignorable sound of drums gathering pitch and pace across the internet.
In the hunt for ‘evidence’, dead-ends and red-herrings abound. IMDb currently reveals no projects rumoured or in pre-production for Jodie Whittaker beyond her TARDIS tenure, but, then, actors keeping contractual secrets would be fools to release their schedules onto one of the most comprehensive entertainment databases ever to have existed. So no help there.
The Mirror newspaper recently reported that the front-cover of the 2022 Doctor Who annual would be Doctor-less for the first time in its 57-year-history. Could this be a clue? Not likely. The people at Penguin Random House – the annual’s publishers – made it clear that the thirteenth Doctor will feature heavily throughout the publication.  So whether the new cover is simply a radical redesign, a yielding to the purchasing power of this era of the show’s vocal detractors; or a shrewd marketing move designed to have the product promoted for free in the press, it doesn’t actually tell us very much about the likelihood of the 13th Doctor’s exit.
Peter Capaldi’s Trouser Clue
We might, however, be looking for clues in all the wrong places. Peter Capaldi deduced that he’d be handing over the TARDIS keys to a woman a few days before the BBC officially broke the news to him: thanks to his tailor.
At a New York Comic Con panel in 2017, Capaldi told the audience: “I went into Paul Smiths, which is a very wonderful clothes shop in London where I buy my suits, and everybody knows me in there. And they said, ‘We just got a call,’ they said, ‘from the Doctor Who office saying, ‘Can we have a pair of [Peter’s] trousers, but with a waist size thirty?’ … And I thought, ‘Well, that can’t really be a man with a thirty-inch waist. That must be a lady then’.”
Staking out Jodie’s tailor probably won’t prove fruitful, though. Knowing the BBC, they’ve probably plugged that potential leak by sub-contracting Jodie’s wardrobe out to a mute grandma living alone in a fortress atop the Himalayas.

Doctor Who: the behind-the-scenes causes of regeneration
By Mark Harrison
TV
Doctor Who: Which New Doctors Are Now Canon?
By Chris Farnell
Will the Doctor Regenerate in 2022?
Series 13 will consist of eight episodes, set to begin airing later this year. The Mirror reports that there will be two specials in 2022, although it isn’t clear whether these will be in addition to this year’s 8,  or whether we’ll see a split of 6 episodes in 2021 with the 2 specials being held over for 2022. A special – Christmas Day, New Year’s Day or otherwise – has become the traditional arena for regeneration, so if Whittaker is leaving, it’s likely that her final scene will come at the end of that rumoured second special.
Many think that the greatest evidence for Whittaker remaining as the Doctor until at least 2023 is our proximity to Doctor Who‘s upcoming 60th anniversary. After all, it would seem a shame to bow out before a big milestone, and it could be daunting to saddle a new Doctor with spearheading such a significant celebration. Still, the timey-wimeyness of it all means that even should Whittaker leave in 2022 there’s no reason she couldn’t make an appearance in an anniversary episode, perhaps alongside a few other previous incarnations. And 2022 marks the 100th anniversary of the BBC itself, so it’s hard to imagine that the show won’t be doing something extra special to mark that, given that it owes its very existence and longevity to the broadcaster (Michael Grade notwithstanding). Whenever she leaves, 13 could easily have her cake and eat it.
Will Chris Chibnall leave after Series 13?
When Bradley Walsh and Tosin Cole left at the end of ‘Revolution of the Daleks‘, Mandip Gill’s Yaz stayed behind. Yaz has been one of the new era’s most underdeveloped characters, so it made sense that she would get her chance to shine and grow in a less crowded environment, sharing companion duties only with John Bishop’s newly teased Dan. But as her character and her story seems so intrinsically linked to the Doctor herself, with the promise of more in-depth exploration to come in series 13, when/if the Doctor leaves, will Yaz’s story also draw to a close? Will only Dan remain with a foot in two TARDISes? All speculation at this point, and it very much hinges on which direction the writers take Yaz in this next clutch of episodes.
Showrunner Chris Chibnall – a lifelong fan of the show and, prior to his appointment as big chief, a long-standing writer for both Doctor Who and Torchwood – has been at least as divisive a figure in Who fandom as 80s helmsman Jonathan Nathan-Turner. Rumours regarding his possible departure have circulated with just as much frequency as those surrounding Whittaker. When asked about series 13, Chris Chibnall told the Radio Times: “I do know I’m coming back for a third season. Yeah, absolutely.” Within those words, if you look hard enough, exists the implied absence of certainty around future seasons, but perhaps that’s getting rather too Da Vinci Code about the whole thing.
While the stewardships of previous showrunners Russell T. Davies and Steven Moffat spanned two Doctors each, this doesn’t mean that Chris Chibnall is guaranteed a crack at the 14th Doctor. Should Chibnall leave after season 13, among the writing team perhaps only Pete McTighe – who wrote ‘Kerblam!‘ And co-wrote ‘Praxeus‘ – has the experience to take over as showrunner, given his stint over-seeing the award-winning Australian prison-drama Wentworth.
How might 13’s Regeneration Happen?
Each of the modern Doctors has met their end in the service of some great sacrifice, either to protect a companion or to save if not the universe then at least a world within it. It’s unlikely that 13’s exit will be any different. It’s simply a question of against whom or what she’ll be fighting when her time comes.
Though it may be too soon for the Master to be directly responsible for the undoing of yet another Doctor so soon after 12’s John-Simm-shaped downfall, it’s likely that the Master will at the very least influence the direction of 13’s regeneration. Sacha Dhawan has expressed enthusiasm at the idea of returning, though nothing, as you would expect, has yet been confirmed. Or denied.
The revelations in ‘The Timeless Children‘, controversial though they proved for some fans, are perhaps too epoch-shaking and era-defining not to play a part in 13’s swansong, and it may well be that the shadowy Division – the Time Lord’s very own version of Starfleet’s Section 31 – will be complicit in the Doctor’s fall.
Another question presents itself: now that the Doctor knows she has infinite regenerations, might it make her more reckless? Might she start to see her body more like an easily changeable suit than a thing of flesh and blood? Might she regenerate multiple times before becoming the 14th Doctor, a la The Curse of Fatal Death, and what on earth would we call the 14th Doctor – who wouldn’t really be the 14th Doctor at all – if that happened?
Who’s in the running for the next Doctor?
Many of the same actors tipped as possible replacements near the end of Capaldi’s run have reappeared in the Regeneration rumour mill, including firm favourites Michaela Coel, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Michael Sheen, David Harewood, Richard Ayoade and the indefatigable Kris Marshall. Joining them this time are Line of Duty alumni Kelly MacDonald and Vicky McClure, and It’s a Sin front-man Olly Alexander. It could be that one of them, or none of them get the call. The next Doctor could just as easily be Jo Martin’s fugitive Doctor, who’s been hiding in plain sight all along.
Really though, as with all things connected with the show at this stage of its cycle: Who knows?
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
Doctor Who Series 13 will air on BBC One later this year.

The quality is quite good since they are not re-encoded. The video (H.264 or H.265) and audio (AC3/Benning’s Dream C) streams are usually extracted from the iTunes or Amazon Video and then remuxed into a MKV container without sacrificing quality. Download Movie Benning’s Dream One of the movie streaming industry’s largest impacts has been on the DVD industry, which effectively met its demise with the mass popularization of online content. The rise of media streaming has caused the downfall of many DVD rental companies such as Blockbuster. In July 2015 an article from the New York Times published an article about Netflix’s DVD services. It stated that Netflix is continuing their DVD services with 5.3 million subscribers, which is a significant drop from the previous year. On the other hand, their streaming services have 65 million members. In a March 2016 study assessing the “Impact of Movie Streaming over traditional DVD Movie Rental” it was found that respondents do not purchase DVD movies nearly as much anymore, if ever, as streaming has taken over the market. Watch Movie Benning’s Dream , viewers did not find movie quality to be significantly different between DVD and online streaming. Issues that respondents believed needed improvement with movie streaming included functions of fast forwarding or rewinding, as well as search functions. The article highlights that the quality of movie streaming as an industry will only increase in time, as advertising revenue continues to soar on a yearly basis throughout the industry, providing incentive for quality content production. Watch Benning’s Dream Movie Online Blu-ray or Bluray rips are encoded directly from the Blu-ray disc to 1080p or 720p (depending on disc source), and use the x264 codec. They can be ripped from BD25 or BD50 discs (or UHD Blu-ray at higher resolutions). BDRips are from a Blu-ray disc and encoded to a lower resolution from its source (i.e. 1080p to 720p/576p/480p). A BRRip is an already encoded video at an HD resolution (usually 1080p) that is then transcoded to a SD resolution. Watch Benning’s Dream Movie BD/BRRip in DVDRip resolution looks better, regardless, because the encode is from a higher quality source. BRRips are only from an HD resolution to a SD resolution whereas BDRips can go from 2160p to 1080p, etc as long as they go downward in resolution of the source disc. Watch Benning’s Dream Movie FullBDRip is not a transcode and can fluxate downward for encoding, but BRRip can only go down to SD resolutions as they are transcoded. BD/BRRips in DVDRip resolutions can vary between XviD or x264 codecs (commonly 700 MB and 1.5 GB in size as well as larger DVD5 or DVD9: 4.5 GB or 8.4GB), size fluctuates depending on length and quality of releases, but the higher the size the more likely they use the x264 codec. Download Benning’s Dream Movie HDRip Film, also called movie, motion picture or moving picture, is a visual art-form used to simulate experiences that communicate ideas, stories, perceptions, feelings, beauty, or atmosphere through the use of moving images. These images are generally accompanied by sound, and more rarely, other sensory stimulations.[1] The word “cinema”, short for cinematography, is often used to refer to filmmaking and the film industry, and to the art form that is the result of it. ❏ STREAMING MEDIA ❏ Streaming media is multimedia that is constantly received by and presented to an end-user while being delivered by a provider. The verb to stream refers to the process of delivering or obtaining media in this manner.[clarification needed] Streaming refers to the delivery method of the medium, rather than the medium itself. Distinguishing delivery method from the media distributed applies specifically to telecommunications networks, as most of the delivery systems are either inherently streaming (e.g. radio, television, streaming apps) or inherently non-streaming (e.g. books, video cassettes, audio CDs). There are challenges with streaming content on the Internet. For example, users whose Internet connection lacks sufficient bandwidth may experience stops, lags, or slow buffering of the content. And users lacking compatible hardware or software systems may be unable to stream certain content. Live streaming is the delivery of Internet content in real-time much as live television broadcasts content over the airwaves via a television signal. Live internet streaming requires a form of source media (e.g. a video camera, an audio interface, screen capture software), an encoder to digitize the content, a media publisher, and a content delivery network to distribute and deliver the content. Live streaming does not need to be recorded at the origination point, although it frequently is. Streaming is an alternative to file downloading, a process in which the end-user obtains the entire file for the content before watching or listening to it. Through streaming, an end-user can use their media player to start playing digital video or digital audio content before the entire file has been transmitted. The term “streaming media” can apply to media other than video and audio, such as live closed captioning, ticker tape, and real-time text, which are all considered “streaming text”. ❏ COPYRIGHT CONTENT ❏ Copyright is a type of intellectual property that gives its owner the exclusive right to make copies of a creative work, usually for a limited time.[1][2][3][4][5] The creative work may be in a literary, artistic, educational, or musical form. Copyright is intended to protect the original expression of an idea in the form of a creative work, but not the idea itself.[6][7][8] A copyright is subject to limitations based on public interest considerations, such as the fair use doctrine in the United States. Some jurisdictions require “fixing” copyrighted works in a tangible form. It is often shared among multiple authors, each of whom holds a set of rights to use or license the work, and who are commonly referred to as rights holders.[citation needed][9][10][11][12] These rights frequently include reproduction, control over derivative works, distribution, public performance, and moral rights such as attribution.[13] Copyrights can be granted by public law and are in that case considered “territorial rights”. This means that copyrights granted by the law of a certain state, do not extend beyond the territory of that specific jurisdiction. Copyrights of this type vary by country; many countries, and sometimes a large group of countries, have made agreements with other countries on procedures applicable when works “cross” national borders or national rights are inconsistent.[14] Typically, the public law duration of a copyright expires 50 to 100 years after the creator dies, depending on the jurisdiction. Some countries require certain copyright formalities[5] to establishing copyright, others recognize copyright in any completed work, without a formal registration. It is widely believed that copyrights are a must to foster cultural diversity and creativity. However, Parc argues that contrary to prevailing beliefs, imitation and copying do not restrict cultural creativity or diversity but in fact support them further. This argument has been supported by many examples such as Millet and Van Gogh, Picasso, Manet, and Monet, etc.[15] ❏ GOODS OF SERVICES ❏ Credit (from Latin credit, “(he/she/it) believes”) is the trust which allows one party to provide money or resources to another party wherein the second party does not reimburse the first party immediately (thereby generating a debt), but promises either to repay or return those resources (or other materials of equal value) at a later date.[1] In other words, credit is a method of making reciprocity formal, legally enforceable, and extensible to a large group of unrelated people. The resources provided may be financial (e.g. granting a loan), or they may consist of goods or services (e.g. consumer credit). Credit encompasses any form of deferred payment.[2] Credit is extended by a creditor, also known as a lender, to a debtor, also known as a borrower.

I Like to Watch | I’m Thinking of Ending Things (2020)
by Don Hall
Like kimchi, sardines, and pork rinds, the artistic creations of Charlie Kaufman are a limited and acquired taste. Almost obnoxiously cerebral and labyrinthian, Kaufman simply sees the world from an odd, dreamlike place that either you dig soaking in or are completely alienated in the experience.
A puppeteer discovers a portal that leads literally into the head of movie star John Malkovich. A woman is in love with a man in love with another woman, and all three have designs on a young man raised as an ape. A lovelorn screenwriter becomes desperate as he tries and fails to adapt 'The Orchid Thief' by Susan Orlean for the screen.
An adaptation of the cult memoir of game show impresario Chuck Barris (Sam Rockwell), in which he purports to have been a C.I.A. hitman. When their relationship turns sour, a couple undergoes a medical procedure to have each other erased from their memories. A theatre director struggles with his work, and the women in his life, as he creates a life-size replica of New York City inside a warehouse as part of his new play.
After his children's science show is canceled, Goodman Hesselman tries to start over with a new show in a little TV market - also a portal to the supernatural world.
Kaufman is, as they say, out there, man.
I thoroughly enjoy Kaufman the way hardcore devotees of Wes Anderson dig his fey whimsy. I could watch “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” or “Being John Malkovich” at the drop of a hat without a second to reflect on the fact that I’ve seen them enough to quote favorite moments.
Perhaps I’m so drawn to his work in part because of my time with WNEP Theater in Chicago. In the 90’s we created shows under the guise of “What No One Else Produces” and put out a series of plays and improvisations that defied conventional (and commercial) wisdom.
“Phobia” was a faux lecture on overcoming phobias lead by an instructor terrified of public speaking that devolved into chaos leaving the audience out on the street. “Leopold” was a mishmash sketch comedy show that included Abraham Lincoln in a theater box whose only responsibility was to laugh hysterically throughout. “Postmortem” had a cast of improvisers play out a person’s life, from birth to death, using only the information in a recent obituary.
“Invasion of the Minnesota Normals” was a take on “Whose Afraid of Virginia Woolf” intersecting with the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory. “Metaluna and the Amazing Science of the Mind Revue” introduced Berlin Dadaist anti-performers to 1921 vaudeville audiences in Indiana. “...apocalypse...” supposed that Jesus Christ refused to play along with his second coming and instead get a job as a bartender and featured Jack Chick as a side character.
WNEP Theater was, as they say, out there. I think Kaufman would’ve fit right in.
“I’m Thinking of Ending Things” is the most Charlie Kaufman film in his canon.
From IMDB — “Full of misgivings, a young woman travels with her new boyfriend to his parents' secluded farm. Upon arriving, she comes to question everything she thought she knew about him, and herself.”
This doesn’t even come close, brother. There is the intercutting of the trip with scenes of a lonely school janitor. A story of a maggot-infested pig. The brilliant Toni Collette and David Thewlis as the parents aging and de-aging in every scene. The monologue in the car that is a word-for-word ape of Pauline Kael’s review of John Cassavetes's “A Woman Under the Influence”. A dream ballet.
Like a dream or a nightmare or both unfolding in non-linear time, this movie is a puzzle box that reveals very little until it reveals everything. Frustrating, fascinating, haunting, and often beautiful, Kaufman pushes his audience to just relax and wade around in his brain soup until he releases them. Is the Young Woman (Jessie Buckley) the protagonist? Is Jake? She’s an artist but of work she sees in his parent’s basement and he has an encyclopedic knowledge of Broadway musicals but fixates on “Oklahoma.” The janitor is obviously lonely but what the fuck is he doing here?
At two and a half hours, Kaufman layers more weirdness than most viewers will have patience for. We are, after all, in the Marvel age and tolerance for a slower pace and long, intriguing monologues aren’t in our wheelhouse anymore. That said, if you are parting, if you lay back and take in each moment without the need to figure it out the reward is there, just at the end. Kaufman wants you to see where he’s going but not easily because easy solutions are for the feeble-minded.
Jesse Plemons (Jake) is one of those character actors you’ve seen in a dozen movies of a dozen genres: “The Irishman,” “Game Night,” the captain of a bizarre Enterprise in an episode of “Black Mirror,” “Battleship,” and “The Master.” This fucker is all over the place and he is fully in charge of his performance in “I’m Thinking of Ending Things.” He is matched note for note by Buckley and having the ridiculously talented Toni Collette in anything makes it exponentially better for her presence.
This is a frustrating ride in the dark of a snowy night but worth every second.
