Best rhinoplasty (nose job) surgeon in Turkey / Istanbul
Tumblr media
Rhinoplasty is, in a sense, functional reconstructive nasal surgery. It is one of the basic operations of the department of otorhinolaryngology. The nose should primarily perform its function well. Breathing, humidifying the air and clearing foreign particles are the main tasks of the nose. While treating pathologies such as sinusitis in the nose, septum deviation, inferior concanhypetrophy as ENT, both medically and surgically, we must examine the external anatomy of the nose in detail. Across curvature outside the nose, excessive bone outside the nose, deformations at the tip of the nose can also affect the intranasal functions. The right time to correct the outside of the nose, both cosmetically and functionally, is the moment when correcting the inside. Inside and outside of the nose is a whole.
If you are in a research for rhinoplasty, rhinoplasty in Turkey Istanbul will be the best choice for you. Rhinoplasty surgeries are not painful operations, these operations require 7 days of plaster and 2 days of nasal packing. Open technique is preferred in terms of nose aesthetics, because it is possible to have full control of the nasal tip and septum.

Ugh, they sent the wrong suitcase to my hotel room! This thing is almost as big as me, and all the clothes are extra extra larges! I’ve heard y’all have dealt with suitcases before. The tag says it belongs to someone named Mourad.
You open the suitcase. But you are hit with a wave of sweaty smell. The suitcase obviously contains only dirty laundry. Disgusting! And somehow attractive at the same time… You take one of the jockstraps and press it in front of your mouth and nose… You remember how the lads used to do it to you in gym class. One of them was also called Mourad. You take another deep breath. The jockstrap smells exactly like a jockstrap should smell. Like sweat, cum and piss. You take off your pants and boxers. And the jockstrap on. Your cut cock gets hard on the spot.
You feel the urge to work out your body. You grab a pair of shorts, sports socks, a tank top and a pair of sneakers from your suitcase. Hmmmm! The tank top is still damp from your last workout. Just like the socks. Sure, that's your sweat. From the last workout. That was in Istanbul. It's hard to have clean clothes when you're always on the road. But your job as a civil engineer brings that with it. And in the gym and on the construction site, clean clothes are not so important.
Tumblr media
Fuck, that was a really good workout. You take off your tank top and dry your forehead and chest as best you can with the sweaty piece of fabric. Quickly take a selfie for your husband in Ankara. "Miss you, honey. But I'll take care of the body you love so much. Kisses, Mourad"

I find Itir Esen more beautiful than Mujde Ar. Purely aesthetically bc I'm not attracted to women and she was also a child in AM. Maybe Mujde Ar has greater appeal but I thought they made Nihal more beautiful than Bihter in the miniseries
I think they both are very beautiful women and they fit their roles in this series incredibly well.
But I think I agree. Itır Esen does look like a teenager in this series, but when we take her filmography in the following years into account I think I do find her a bit more beautiful than Müjde Ar, yes. Also Müjde Ar has a nose job in her most famous film roles, and I think I prefer her original nose that we see in Aşk-ı Memnu 1975. The nose job made her look softer in a way that I like less. (I am not against nose jobs on principle btw, it completely worked with Türkan Şoray, but in the case of Müjde Ar I preferred her original nose).
Both Müjde Ar and Itır Esen do get mentioned in conversations on the most beautiful actresses in Turkish cinema and Itır Esen is generally found more beautiful, so most Turkish people agree with you. But of course Itır Esen’s beauty is of a much rarer sort in Turkey so she is more striking to us.
In the book Bihter is supposed to be much more beautiful than Nihal: Bihter is the most beautiful woman in the Istanbul society and Nihal is somewhat pretty and elegant but not exactly “beautiful”. This is of course not true in the series since Itır Esen is gorgeous. But their beauties are of so different sorts that the contrast still works.
Here are the films where I find them to be most beautiful:
Müjde Ar: “Tosun Paşa”
Itır Esen: “Bizim Aile”, “Aile Şerefi”, “Cennetin Çocukları”
They also acted together again, this time in color, in “Gülen Gözler”.

character parallels.
cady heron (mean girls), amy antsler (booksmart), lexi howard (euphoria), nick carraway (the great gatsby), charlie kelmeckis (the perks of being a wallflower), emma pillsbury (glee), gabriella montez (high school musical), rory gilmore (gilmore girls), andrea sachs (the devil wears prada)
character trope.
meliha is the recluse. they almost always has their nose in a book - too quiet, too shy to speak up. and when they do, her voice is almost a whisper. it's easy to talk over them. they have a hard time socializing at parties (if they ever even go). they are social around those who are close to them, but they are never the first one to speak up. it's a wonder they ever actually leave their dorm to join in on the extracurriculars they're involved in.
meliha.
when meliha was in their pre-teens, they moved to gatlinburg, tennessee from istanbul, turkey. their family is far from rich. their mom worked two jobs to make ends meet. meliha got a job in high school to help take care of their younger siblings. they worked at the public library, putting away books, using their break time to work on their studies.
meliha waited a few years after graduation to start college. they took this time to work full-time to help provide for their family. when she applied to ogden, she was awarded an academic scholarship for their achievements while they were in school. their mom had pushed for meliha to go to college, to do something with their life.. to enjoy their life.
it was a relief on their family to not have to worry about paying for their college. however, meliha couldn't help but to worry about her family back home. it wasn't her first choice to be so far away for college, but they couldn't pass up the opportunity. meliha works part-time and sends as much as they can back home. most of the money they make is spent on necessities.
became an education major to make a different to today's youth. although they may be incredibly shy and quiet in their everyday life, when they are teaching/in front of a classroom, she is a whole different person. it's an out of body experience for them. they imagine teaching for the rest of their life. meliha wishes to teach middle or high school math.
part of meliha knew that they didn't wholeheartedly identify as a woman. although their features and style were primarily feminine, there is a part of them that feels genderless. they came out to their mom in high school. their mom didn't exactly understand what that meant - they haven't really spoken about it since then. they are still trying to figure out the world themselves. they joined the queer alliance to hopefully meet people who feel similar to them, or have had similar experiences to them.
essentially, meliha is a very socially awkward recluse. will say the wrong things, will stumble over their words. does not know how to be friends.
greer morrison.
imagine a freshman meliha - painfully awkward and not knowing how to make friends. imagine the limelight of greer, basking in the sunlight as it seemed like she had so many friends. meliha and greer were in two opposite circles, well - if you could call whatever friends meliha did have as a friend group. greer took her in to try and help her open up more. meliha was the tiniest bit envious of how easy it seemed for greer, to be able to socialize without stumbling over her words or making something awkward. the other part of meliha wished they would never have what greer had - how exhausting it must have been to be socializing at all moments of her life. greer invited meliha to a few parties where meliha tried to grow her social circle. she would stick close to greer like a lost puppy. one night, meliha gets drunk at a party. realizes that this is not the life that she wants, she would much rather be in the safe place in her room. meliha would rarely be spotted at a party after.

I have a bone to pick with turkeys representation in new kdrama reborn rich.
Explain to me whats with the:
- yellow screen, so sick of that yellow filter everywhere. now it is used for turkey by kdrama directors
Tumblr media
- every turkish person shown to be menacing or bad in some way: taxi driver betrays the main character, the people on street are looking menacing and or threatening, the kids watching him fall and make fun of him in a busy square where police is just a few metres away (implying the  indifference and incompetence of the police where a crime is happening right under their nose and a man gets kidnapped). There is not one good person, and dont start with the its the story blah blah. if they can only show a country in a negative light maybe they shouldnt do it at all.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
- what is that music, it is not turkish at all. It's arabic,  it's a whole different culture. We don't have a monolith of a culture; turkish culture is different than arabian culture, it is deeply rooted in central asian and has been enriched a lot since turks moved to anatolia. there are arabian elements yes but not how the west stereotypes it as.
- where is that terrain from? it sure as hell isnt in or near istanbul. why did they need to include a shot of a completely different land?
Tumblr media
bonus: why is this scene very similar to american movie scenes set in ‘middle east’ where the ‘hero’ is taken hostage by some terrorist org.
Tumblr media
I am sick and tired of sk ent industry and their imported from west xenophobia/racism. I knew this was going to happen but i am still angry. how about you stop including us since you cant do a proper job of it kdrama directors and producers.

have you seen LEYLA KAPLAN around the crash site? we’re trying to make sure they’re still alive after the crash! according to the manifesto SHE is a 30 year old CIS WOMAN. i hear they’re known being a PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR (independent). LEYLA is also known to be TENACIOUS yet also SUSPICIOUS at times. we have a couple questions for LEYLA when we find HER, we heard something about a secret they might have? such as SHE’S BEEN LIVING IN THE USA UNDER FALSIFIED DOCUMENTS!
basics.
full name: leyla kaplan
gender & pronouns: cis woman, she/her
age & dob: 30 years old / december 17th, 1970
birthplace: istanbul, türkiye
orientation: bisexual
occupation: private investigator
face claim: melisa pamuk
character study.
alignment: true neutral
personality type: istp-a
temperament: choleric
zodiac: sagittarius
history.
If her birth parents ever particularly cared for her, Leyla doesn't know. She has no memory of them at all, her early life spent in the halls of a cold orphanage. A runaway by the age of eight, most of her adolescence was spent on the streets of Istanbul along with the other unwanted children. It was a rough childhood, but it taught Leyla survival, something that would suit her well as she grew.
Being quick, observant and clever made for opportunity; what started out as simple tail jobs, a little spy in all but name for some jealous lover or greedy rival, blossomed into what would eventually become Leyla's career. She had a knack for it, that ability to squeeze herself in exactly where she wasn't wanted, even against the odds of those that did not want to be found. It was good money — or good enough, at least, to no longer live on the street. While an official job title was never taken, those who had information they wanted ferreted out would often find themselves standing at Leyla's door.
It was at the age of twenty-five that the brunette turned her attention abroad. While Türkiye had always been her home, Istanbul seemed more of a cage than a welcome, the memories attached to the city bittersweet. It had taken years to accrue the money for relocation, official immigration or VISA application was out of the question for an orphan girl with no real documents to confirm her existence. But her line of work had put her into contacts with a less than upstanding side of the city, including a forger capable of creating documentation that could get her into the United States — at a hefty cost. It was one Leyla agreed to pay, though, setting her sights on the California coast as her site of a fresh beginning.
It was a rough go at the beginning, but Leyla was no stranger to survival by the skin of her teeth. Putting the skills she had learnt in Istanbul to use, she slowly began to build a new life for herself, eventually even obtaining a small office space for official inquiries. The apartment she rented was shitty and small, but it was hers, and more importantly, it felt like home. It was a life she was proud of, until the day it was suddenly ripped away through her fingers.
present day.
It was her job ultimately that drew Leyla onto the fateful Flight 78. A wealthy spouse, intent on proving her husband's infidelity, certain his business trip to Sydney was actually a cover to go meet his lover had hired her services. Leyla was meant to follow him there — being on the same flight was a matter of convenience, that there would be no time for him to slip away at the airport gates — and collect proof of his cheating liaisons in order for her client to use in the inevitable divorce. If only she'd known the ramifications of what taking that job would be.
skills.
Though it has been some time since her days on the streets of Istanbul, Leyla has not forgotten what it felt like to have an empty belly. She knows how to ration supplies, is not too proud to eat what others would turn their nose up to. There's a wariness to her nature that never fully trusts, always sleeps with one eye open, and is well-versed with lack of typical comforts. At her core, she is a survivalist first.

Enhancing Beauty in Istanbul: A Closer Look at Nose Jobs
The pursuit of beauty is a timeless human endeavor, and throughout history, various cultures have developed their own standards of beauty. One such cultural obsession with beauty can be found in Istanbul, Turkey, where the art of rhinoplasty, commonly referred to as a "nose job," has flourished. This procedure has become a symbol of aesthetic enhancement in Istanbul, attracting people from all corners of the globe. In this article, we will delve into the world of nose jobs in turkey, exploring the reasons behind their popularity, the cultural significance they hold, and the ethical considerations surrounding them.
Tumblr media
The Surge of Rhinoplasty in Istanbul
Istanbul has emerged as a global hub for cosmetic surgery, with rhinoplasty standing out as one of the most sought-after procedures. The reasons behind this surge in nose jobs are multifaceted. Firstly, Istanbul's reputation for affordable yet high-quality medical services has attracted a significant number of international patients, seeking to enhance their physical appearance. The cost of rhinoplasty in Istanbul is notably lower than in many Western countries, making it an attractive option for those looking to improve their aesthetics without breaking the bank.
Secondly, the city's strategic location, at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, has made it easily accessible to people from various continents. Istanbul's well-developed medical tourism infrastructure, including world-class clinics and experienced surgeons, has further contributed to its popularity as a destination for nose jobs. Patients often combine their cosmetic procedures with a memorable vacation experience, exploring the rich history and vibrant culture of Istanbul.
The Cultural Significance of Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty in Istanbul is not merely a medical procedure; it is deeply intertwined with the cultural fabric of the city. In Turkey, the nose holds a unique cultural significance, and altering it through rhinoplasty is often seen as a transformative journey towards self-improvement and increased self-esteem.
For many Turks, the nose symbolizes more than just a physical feature; it represents one's identity and self-confidence. This cultural perspective on the nose has led to a higher acceptance of rhinoplasty, as individuals view it as a way to align their physical appearance with their inner self.
Additionally, rhinoplasty in Istanbul is not solely about conforming to Western beauty standards. While some may seek more Westernized features, others opt for subtle changes that preserve their Turkish heritage. Surgeons in Istanbul are skilled at tailoring nose jobs to meet the individual's desires while respecting their cultural identity.
Ethical Considerations in Rhinoplasty
While rhinoplasty offers numerous benefits, ethical considerations should not be overlooked. The pressure to conform to certain beauty ideals, whether Western or Turkish, can lead to unrealistic expectations and unhealthy body image perceptions. Patients must be well-informed about the potential risks, complications, and limitations of the procedure.
In Istanbul, as in other global cosmetic surgery hubs, the ethical responsibility falls on both the surgeons and the patients. Surgeons must adhere to strict ethical standards, prioritizing patient safety and well-being over profit. They should also engage in honest and open communication with patients, setting realistic expectations for the outcomes of the procedure.
On the other hand, patients should conduct thorough research, choose reputable clinics, and consult with board-certified surgeons who have a track record of successful procedures. They should also critically examine their motivations for undergoing rhinoplasty, ensuring that their decision is based on personal desire rather than external pressures.
Conclusion
Rhinoplasty in Istanbul is a captivating intersection of culture, aesthetics, and medical tourism. The city's reputation for affordable, high-quality cosmetic surgery has led to a surge in international patients seeking to enhance their beauty. The cultural significance of the nose in Turkey has further fueled the popularity of this procedure, as it aligns with the pursuit of self-improvement and self-confidence.
However, as with any medical procedure, ethical considerations must guide the practice of rhinoplasty in Istanbul. Surgeons must prioritize patient safety and honest communication, while patients should approach the decision with a clear understanding of their motivations and potential risks.
Ultimately, rhinoplasty in Istanbul is not just about enhancing physical beauty; it's about the journey towards self-empowerment and self-acceptance. It's a reflection of the complex relationship between culture, aesthetics, and personal identity in a globalized world. Istanbul's role as a thriving center for rhinoplasty is a testament to the enduring human pursuit of beauty, and the city's unique cultural perspective adds depth to this ongoing narrative.
