very excited for the iwbft reread so here's a jimmy <3
from wikipedia: THE HANGED MAN.—Wisdom, circumspection, discernment, trials, sacrifice, intuition, divination, prophecy. Reversed: Selfishness, the crowd, body politic. There is a halo burning brightly around the hanged man's head, signifying a higher learning or an enlightenment.

iwbft musical in which the ark plays a song during a concert except it gets incrementally more intense as it goes on, and just as it becomes noticeable everything stops as if frozen in time. rowan and lister stop dead, like the performance is a video and somebody hit the pause button. jimmy steps out from between them as the music from the orchestra segues into a different song, which ends up being a solo about the desperation and claustrophobia he feels at being trapped in his own life. at the end of the solo the music segues BACK into the original song as jimmy steps back and everything starts up again, revealing that the solo never really happened and emphasizing how jimmy is trapped within the confines of the band and how nobody truly knows how much it’s affecting him
