cops in kagepro must truly not give a shit because kenjiro tateyama does jack shit to Not look suspicious. in one day his two students he was teaching separately both disappeared/died (unsure exactly how haruka and takanes cases were treated tbh) and his daughter jumped off the roof of the school he teaches at. on the anniversary of his wifes death/disappearance on a trip he took with her and then his like 15 yr old kids all move out to get away from him. anyways im remembering in typing this that the ppl who dont come back from the daze just. disappear right. because theyre in the daze.i genuinely cant remember if its real that kano used his decieving eyes to larp as ayanos non existant (see above) dead body or if i got that somewhere when i was like 14 and its not real. um. either way

uh I don't think i have many future mekadan hcs yet... heem heem... but what i do have is

kidomomo wedding. kido takes momo's last name but everyone still continues to call them kido. you already know about the hibiya living situation with kdmm

the kisaragi sibs both end up needing glasses in the future. shintaro's reason? he's been doing nothing but stare at a monitor for years so his vision started worsening. momo's reason? idk i think she'd look cute in glasses so im headcanoning that she starts needing them when she gets older #ratio

the mekatrio got taken out of school at a young age and i don't think it was ever mentioned that kenjiro homeschooled them so i hc that they end up attending night classes once they got older to catch up on what they've missed out on

Started my August 15th in the best way possible. Spent 2 hours explaining the overall story in the songs to my boyfriend to prepare him for the songs. I always binge all of the songs on August 15th in order so that summertime record will make me tear up. I plan on uploading a kagerou project watercolor painting later today. I haven't read the manga or visual novel so I'm sure there's a lot of holes in the story I told him...I've only watched the PVs a million times and the anime once.

I like the Kagerou Project because while noone officially gets together by the end of the series, there are many ships hinted at (or kinda confirmed in non canon side manga) that antis might consider problematic.

1. Azami(>10000 years old) and Tsukihiko(19), this relationship is 100% cannon and happens hundreds of years before the series starts, the age listed is when they get together, Azami is a Medusa and is the first of her kind she is a very old being who has been around before humans, she meets him when he was 16 when he approached the hidden grove she was staying, she orders him to build her a house thinking that will make him leave, he spends the next 3 years building her a house and at the end she ends up getting feelings for him and asks him to live with her, where they end up making a family together.

2. Seto(16-17) and Mary(~140), Mary is a Medusa and is the last of her kind, she is the equivalent of about 14 years old, she originally met Seto when he was about 8-12(it's not 100% clear). (Sorted from most to least canon but still hinted at)

3. Kido and Kano(both are about 16-17), they ended up in the same orphanage as Seto after tragedy befell their families when they were about 6-7 (Kido's family died in a fire, and Kano's mom was killed during a break in), after some time in the orphanage all three of them get adopted by Ayaka and Kenjiro Tateyama who already have a daughter named Ayano Tateyama, Kido and Kano consider Ayano and Seto as siblings and the Ayaka and Kenjiro as parents, however they don't see each other as siblings and are confirmed to have a crush on each other. (They also get married in a non canon manga that takes place about 10 years into the future)

4. Hibiya (11) and Momo (16), during summer break Hibiya goes to the city with his friend, while there he meets Momo and they end up becoming friends, after summer ends he ends up going back to his hometown(there's not much in the main series outside of Momo saying "he's not as lame as I thought", or Hibiya blushing at one point when she grabs his hand, but in one of the non canon manga he goes back to the city when he turns 18 and she is 22, they meet up and she is surprised by how good he looks)

Post-MCA ShinAya thoughts (Ayano lives)

Domestic ShinAya is absolutely to Die For. They deserve it after Everything. But I think they're the type who will move in together after marriage so I think they will marry as soon as everything is settled. (They are both family-oriented so I don't think they will actually live together before marriage. But they already practically Married anyway xD)

Ayano and mekatrio decide to stay in the Apartment. Kenjiro (BECAUSE HE'S BACK TOO IN MY BOOK OKAY) also stays with them, they sold off the Tateyama House. It's to start anew.

Ayano will def try to get into school again and Shintaro helps tutor her any time he could, between therapy and all that. Shintaro can still tutor her, even after years not really touching the subjects, but actually it's more of him just lending his old school books and notes to her, and it's hardly him 'tutoring' and more just them spending afternoons together. Mostly at the 107 Apartment (mekatrio / Kenjiro sometimes joining in) and other times they went to the Library or some cafes.

Shintaro didn't pursue college and after his mental health was settled, he decided to be more serious with music. Momo and his mom encourage him fully <3

all you had done was mourn. someone you loved had died--whether it was a relative, a lover, a friend, a pet--someone was brutally murdered right in front of your eyes as the laughter of those demonic snakes rang throughout your head. how many ways could a person be killed? It was foolish of you to think the snakes would be simplistic, or ‘easy’ with their killings. people had exploded like fireworks--only not as stunning & a smile was not brought to your face. chunks of skin & bone littered the tv screen, & a scream escaped your throat.

and so it continued. you were drawn to the televisions--when they flickered on, your eyes turned to them without a moment to spare. who would the snakes torment next? who would be lost? how brutal would the deaths be? There was no shortage of bloodshed or violence. minutes turned to hours & hours turned to days as your anxiety worsened and you dreaded the flicker of the televisions.

as your fears grow & you bite your nails in worry the televisions turn on. there is no victim on screen, only a semi-grumpy looking snake with her arms crossed & a pout on her face.

“ugh, our fun’s totally over. I guess i can’t blame you idiots, since we told you to kill someone, but you sure took your sweet time doing it! we were having so, sooo much fun, and we had like, way more planned! you’d better vote right this time, cuz i’ve got back-up plans if you don’t.” she groans. there’s a muffled voice who’s owner isn’t visible on the screen, but animating simply waves her hand to silence it & carries on.

“i know, i know thieving! they can’t solve the trial if we don’t even tell them where the body is. they’re too stupid to figure it out for themselves, obviously.” she claps her hands together & ends her ranting. “so, you guys totally wanna know where the body is, right? you’d better pick up the pace and get your sorry asses over to the ayakashi lake.” animating raises her hand to wave goodbye & end the broadcast, but then she stops.

“before you go, you should know that we’re only gonna give you three days to solve this trial. I mean, you’ve been through this enough times to know what you’re doing now, right? There’s no way you need a full week to solve this, and i wanna execute someone sooner rather than later! Now get to the lake, cuz time isn’t a luxury you have!”

as the snake force you to trek your way over to the lake, thoughts slowly fill your head. you hadn’t noticed when the public murders had stopped and with no announcement for awhile you let relief replace the anxiety that had accompanied you during the entire week. It was this relief that had blinded you and prevented the realization that someone had gone missing, the reason the motive had come to a seeming halt. with each passing step, the fear slowly dawns on you and as you reach the lake the foul stench that has taken over the place threatens to burn your nostrils if you take another step closer.

from where you stand, you can make out a bloated pale body laying motionless in the edge of the lake. as you try your best to ignore the smell you squint your eyes to determine who the victim was. its when you catch a glimpse of a white lab coat, or at least what remains of it, that you realize KENJIROU TATEYAMA met with an unfortunate end. you brace yourself from the smell and walk closer. his skin has wrinkled and turned grey while peck marks over have left the burgundy colored blood spill out and stain his clothes. bloodshot eyes stare right through you as you notice the skin around his neck being more deteriorated than the rest. there are bruise-like marks across his arms and legs, and you doubt the swollen stomach he bares has to do with a long night of beer drinking. it doesn’t take long for the stench to overwhelm you and with teary eyes you are forced to look away.

i mean i can't be the only one who's uoAH WHY isn't konoha's power supposed to be just about the shape of his own body and all that? so why isn't kuroha getting affected by the others' powers?
