Anon in ask 1, it’s funny you say that because Hoseok actually fucks me up more than Jimin does. I almost never really talk about Hobi because I’m literally unable to. Just like you. And I think everyone who really sees what he is, ends up just as speechless.

Anon in ask 2, my standout songs from the album so far are What If (remix), I wonder, I Don’t Know (that French monologue intro and Yunjin’s vocals plus Hobi’s sickening flow elevate this song into pure magic), and of course Neuron. It’s the anthemic homage to his dance roots that we knew was coming, and it’s filled with so many heart-tugging references, but still it hits hard with every listen.

Hobi has done so well putting this album together, especially given he did it all before he enlisted last year. His work ethic, music taste, and artistic vision, impress me every time. It’s always worth the wait when it comes to anything Hobi works on.

Between this release, the documentary, the Enhypen Seeb remix, and BND tracklist release, I’ve got my hands and ears full in between handling a full work load over the next couple days so I might be IA. I hope y’all can enjoy this project at your own pace to your heart’s content (especially you Anon in ask 3).

It really bothers me that there are so many minors in a fandom about a game that has such dark and triggering themes as abuse, rape, pedophilia, sadism, and suicide.

I know I can’t stop them so the best thing I can do is to educate them. It’s part the reason why I don’t hold back in analyses or romanticize the game in my writings (the other part is that I wanna stay true to the material as possible). And if it gets too much I write a serious post about warnings of abuse or no minors being in kink etc.

There’s such a gap between the game versions of the boys and the fandom version of the boys and quite frankly, it kinda concerns me. I know DL is fictional and you can do whatever you want with the characters, but the situations (aside from the vampire stuff) can be very real.

Edit: (however I do know I like to have fun with Laito’s character by making crack headcanons and playing on his dorky side; cuz Rejet does that in general. I’m also not saying you shouldn’t have fun with his character but imo just simultaneously know that he’s just a lot more sinister than what the fandom typically makes him out to be; again I know he’s just a character but the events in the media shouldn’t be treated lightly or romanticized like I mentioned; I don’t wanna step on peoples toes too much but I hope you know what I mean, sometimes I’m bad at articulating this kind of stuff)

I did get into DL when I was starting high school (although I wasn’t active in the fandom until this year). Which I’m glad I found a series that I love so much in the end, but I really don’t think it was the best idea at that age. It does scare me how it’s a 15/17+ game in Japan tho, like yikes.

I know I have some tumblr mutuals that are minors, and I hope y’all know just to be careful and safe and knowledgeable about these serious themes and how to avoid them and how they effect others.
