‼ Warrior cats: Ultimate edition has COMPETITION ‼
Shocking, right? but it does now! and no, I'm not talking about that old lake territory's one, I'm talking about a new Warrior Cats roleplay game:
Lake Territory: Reborn [Beta]
Its out now, and perfectly playable! the player base is positive, and i see very few cons from a newly born game!
Pros:
Positive player base
Clean animations
More herbs! (comfrey, feverfew, etc.)
Simplistic editor
Different editing options in editor (eyeshadow intensity, tail length,)
Specific injury selector (click to add system)
More Clans/Groups! (SkyClan, "deceased" but loners & kitty pets are just "Outsiders")
Has a "Dice roller" for combat roleplays!
Game modes! (survival, vs roleplay)
BIGGER desc & name character limits! (250 for desc, 20 for name)
More to territory's! (Referred to Points of Interest)
not overly loud and annoying background music (I actually fell asleep to it while writing this)
Cons:
VERY early in development, there are no accessories, fur options, prey-hunting, or many animations.
no animation leveling (sitting sideways slightly on a slope, for example)
Models are slightly messy (kit neck looks like a dang giraffe)
Small player base (short roleplays)
Here are some screenshots of the game (and gameplay)
Look at Alt Text to see exactly what's being shown!

Ginnojo, 178 cm, 54 y.o.
Ayakashi: Romance Reborn
N, R and SR card design
Tumblr media
ginnojo was my first boy i liked from ayakashi just because his ssr was my first. i was like, yep, i'll make him my fav just because he was my first lol
ginnojo is a shy bookshop keeper, a veteran of war, and he is VERY shy around women
he is blushing and stuttering his way through every interaction with mc in the game (i'm exaggerating lol)
his story was kinda the most boring one, unfortunately :c
but they compinsated with ssr hidden stories and small interactions in events
in game, he doesn't have anything interesting in his design that would reflect his dragon nature. you can see on official artwork that he has like a few scales on his cheek and arm, and that's it. i think it's a mist opportunity! so i added more scales and a dragon tale for him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(screenshots from ayakashi: romance reborn)
yes!! he is THAT OLD, but don't fret, there's is even more ancient dude (who i really like too, but he didn't get into nu: carnival line up)
ayakashi live longer lives and seemingly don't age, and in nc yokai have long lives too, like kuya and quicy for example
ginnojo has a blue gem on his left hand
his conterpart is yakumo
ginnojo is kind of weird yokai as well, he is a water dragon. how do you become a water dragon yokai in nc universe? i don't know!
ginnojo lives in deep water territory. even though, water territory seems to be more inhabited by people, like light territory, i bet there is still secluded places for rare mythical creatures to occupy.
i imagined his living by a high mountain lake, but looking over nc map (i'll probably post it sometime later) it seems that water territory is very flat 😭
and i don't want another yokai chilling in wood territory. i know that it's often their birth place, and it's safer from humans, but idk it's a big concentration of sexy dudes in one place lmao they can't be ALL neighbors to each other yk
water territory seems to have dence forests too, judging from the main story (where rei lives), so i bet there is a place for a magical secret lake or something suitable for a water dragon. *huffs and puffs*

Jerusalems in the United States - New York State
I reposted a blog earlier today about how Jewish Voice for Peace had at some point had people recite "Next Year in Al-Quds" instead of "Next Year in Jerusalem" during a Passover seder. Someone then commented that they could have said "Next Year in Jerusalem New York," and in fact, there is a Jerusalem, New York, and it's not very far from me. (I live in Ithaca)
The New York Jerusalem is in Yates County, right on Keuka Lake. (In the map below, it's enclosed by the dotted red line).
Tumblr media
From a history of the town published in 1892:
"Jerusalem is practically and substantially the mother of towns in Yates County.  The district, sometimes called township, of Jerusalem, was organized in 1789 as one of the subdivisions of Ontario County, and included with its limits all that is now Milo, Benton and Torrey, as well as its own original territory.  On the erection of Stueben County in 1796, the region or district called Bluff Point, or so much of it as lies south of the south line of township seven, was made a part of the new formation; but in 1814 an act of the Legislature annexed Bluff Point to Jerusalem, and to which it has since belonged.
"In 1803 the town of Jerusalem was definitely erected, embracing township seven, second range, and so much of township seven, first range, as lay westward of Lake Keuka and lot No. 37.  At or about the same time the other territory that had previously formed a part of the district of Jerusalem was organized into a town and called Vernon, after Snell and finally Benton."
The Public Universal Friend
Tumblr media
Portrait of the Public Universal Friend, from 1812, unknown painter. Source: Yates County Historical Society
A famous resident of the town (famous then, not now), was the Public Universal Friend:
"The Public Universal Friend, Jemima WILKINSON, was of course a pioneer of this town, the same as she had been in the locality and settlement on Seneca Lake.  In 1790 she first came to the Genesee country and four years later she established herself permanently in the town of Jerusalem."
The Public Universal Friend was born as Jemima Wilkinson in 1752 to a Quaker family in Rhode Island. Jemima was transformed into the Public Universal Friend after "a night of fevered dreams" on October 10, 1776.
Jemima took on a new identity after the fever. "'Reborn' in their place was the Public Universal Friend, neither male nor female. According to the Friend, Jemima’s soul had passed into heaven, and God had reanimated their body with the spirit of the Friend sent to spread the Quaker gospel. From then on, the Friend began to gather followers and travel as a preacher."
The Friend lived as nonbinary person: "The Public Universal Friend dressed in a way that blended masculinity and femininity, and this drew much attention. Their clothing included a cravat and robe like traditional ministers and clergymen wore, as well as the kind of hat typically worn by Quaker men. They also didn’t wear the traditional bonnet or head covering women were expected to wear. The Public Universal Friend’s gender presentation caused curiosity and anger, and it was a radical challenge to the status quo that the Friend was not willing to be bound by the customs of the community."
How did the Friend come to settle in Jerusalem, New York? After their transformation, the Friend gathered a following, and they decided to create a settlement in western New York, called Jerusalem.

Argyre - The Silvery Lands
Felt like it'd be appropriate to talk more in-depth about the setting itself.
Tumblr media
The Exarchate of Argyre (Exarchatus Argyrei) is a client kingdom of the Remorian Empire, one of two situated in the lands of Dracaena, along with Chryse, farther up north in the Coeturian desert. It is not officially recognized as a province of the Empire, however it is referred to as such in common speech. It is the most prosperous of the various Remorian settlements, due to its fair climate and bountiful natural resources, as well as its natural barriers against the spreading plague of the miasma, cause of the undead hordes present in Lemuria.
Geography
Argyre is divided into two main regions: Argyre Euariensis at the north, named after its capital Euaria, and Argyre Caesariensis at the south (not present in the map), named after the city of Caesaria, at the southern tip of the continent.
Euariensis is located in the valley between the Silver Mountains at the East, dividing Argyre from Iphrania, and the Antisyan Mountains at the west, dividing it from the cursed lands of Thyle. Argyre Euariensis is also bounded in the Rubrum flumen at the south, and the Coeturian desert at the north.
While Caesariensis technically encompasses all land south of the Rubrum, only the southern tip is really occupied. The space between the Rubrum and the city of Caesaria is occupied by various tribes such as the Mapythi, Tevelthae, Thoni, Halacali, and the Dragons that also inhabit Thyle. Relations with these tribes are friendly, and there are very few castra along the frontier, as well as no plans for campaigns of conquest in this region, as contact with Dragons will bring forth the wrath of the Titans.
Legend also tells that if one flows down to the mouth of the Rubrum, a lake can be found that sits behind the Pillars of Atlas, and on that lake will be the isles of Atlantis. It's said to be the only land on the world outside of the jurisdiction of the Titans, where the peoples that survived the Bronze Age rule and hold the knowledge to the nature of our world.
History
Argyre was settled during the Great Migration. After the Rapture, when the land changed its shape and position and the peoples of the world were reborn, Remoria begun to be beaten by harsher suns, and hostile winds. Thus, fleets were assigned to sail across the world, to find fairer lands. When the Classis X Australis was coasting along southern Coeturia, they founded the colonia of Caesaria, which would be the moment of Argyre's founding.
Euaria would be later founded following the Puelthaic wars, in which the territory of the Puelthae was conquered to become a new Remorian settlement, and this new province joined with the original Caesarian settlement to become the Diocese of Argyre, which would then grow to become the largest of the Remorian dioceses in Coeturia.
This would not last long, however, as few years after the conquering, the Variscian Oracle of Cronus informed Emperor Festinius that the Titans were displeased with the recent settling of the region. For it is inhabited by dragons, and deemed cursed lands. So the Emperor, in an attempt to gain the favor of the Titans once more, released the diocese of Argyre to become an "independent" kingdom, however, he would continue to control the land, this time from the shadows. The Argyrean rule, for his part, would take the title of "Exarch of the Argyreans" to show that his crown was not recognized by the Empire, however, the Emperor would continue to grant him the funds and soldiers necessary to keep the lands secure.
During the crisis Remoria begun to face in the 300s AR, there was a large amount of immigration to Argyre and the other distant provinces or client kingdoms. Argyre in particular was preferred as its currency, the austrinus, was not tied to the Remorian denarius in value, so the inflationary crisis had less effect on its economy.
Among the immigrants to Argyre was an individual who would later do the unthinkable, sailing to Atlantis, speaking with the dragons of the mountains, and becoming the catalyst for what would later become the Olympian rebellion against the Titans. But the details of their name and background are not up for me to say; that would be spoiling the story.

Hey! I love the new colonies, But About the "no kittypets" thing? What About that one Cat? (gosh damm it, can't remember her name!) I think it was snowfeather??? Who Used to Be a Kittypet? Is she now from a different group of colonies ? Or was she Born in her colony now?
Yes, Snowfeather! You got it!
So yes, Snowfeather's backstory has changed a bit. She would've been an Unbound cat, one of the cats that are born out in the desert beyond the Lake Colonies. The Lake Alliance stays together to mostly keep Unbound/outsiders away from their territory, but Oak Colony takes many Unbound cats in.
Unbound cats who want to join the Colonies need to complete "the Sunrise Challenge" in order to be accepted and "reborn" into the Colonies. Marsh, Field, and River Colony's Sunrise Challenges are often extremely difficult (ei rigged) so that outside are rarely ever good enough. You could argue that Oak Colony is the only one honoring the challenge properly by actually making it doable.
When Snowfeather completed her Sunrise Challenge, Oak Colony celebrated ^u^

Guardian Tsu and his sky Xan?
This is somehow far longer than I was expecting... I was trying to do something different than the multichap that I have plotted hahaha hope you like it.
Story:
No matter  what other people think, Xanxus is a Sky. Despite their willful ignorance, he's actually the Sky with the most experience with Clouds. After all, if they're to be mafia one way or the other, the Varia tends to be the more palatable option. Xanxus has no interest in parading them around like show ponies, no need to leash them to his castle. As long as they take the required number of missions and complete them, Xanxus gives zero shits about the rest.
Which means that when they're aware of the option and it's given to them, most Clouds flock to him. Not that any of the old men would ever recognize that little fact. It also means, however, that ten years later, when he finally sees Sawada again, he sees it. Xanxus was set to dislike him, had decided in his mind already but once he notices it, there's no ignoring the fact and Xanxus can't stop watching.
Reborn thinks his student is a cloudy Sky, possessive and territorial but nothing that can't be overcome with a little conditioning, a little pushing. Xanxus takes one long look at Sawada reigning his temper in and he realizes that's not the case at all. That's a Cloud, with a damn powerful Sky secondary. It's not until later, however, when Xanxus witnesses Sawada losing his temper for a fraction of a second  that he understands.
First, Sawada is the most powerful, most in control Cloud that Xanxus has ever seen. Second, Reborn and Timoteo are buffoons. What do they know about Clouds anyway? They've been trampling over Sawada's instincts for years, attempting to curve his tendencies instead of working with who he is. They have given Sawada no time to rest, to collect himself. He has no territory, no sense of belonging because of that. Third, Xanxus could sit back and enjoy the explosions. No matter how calm Sawada is, everybody has a breaking point.
And yet… Fourth, Xanxus wants him. It had only been a moment, certainly not enough time for much other than to see Sawada's Flames briefly lash out from under his skin but it had been enough. But it had been more than enough. Xanxus is picky, he wants only the best of the best and Sawada is the best Cloud in the mafia.
He starts small. Where all the other Skies in Vongola impose themselves on Sawada with casual disregard, Xanxus makes a point of respecting his cues. When it looks like Sawada is about done with people, Xanxus covers for him. If it's only the two of them in the meeting, he waves Sawada away, tells him to come back when he feels like it. When it's with their old men, he provides a distraction just long enough for Sawada to collect himself.
Soon enough, Xanxus becomes the one Sky in Vongola who can guarantee Sawada will show up to their meetings instead of sending Gokudera or the baby swordsman to replace him.
One morning, Xanxus wakes up to Vongola as a collective losing their fucking minds. Sawada is, apparently, missing. Unlike Timoteo, Xanxus doesn't worry. The little Cloud will come back when he feels like it and not a moment before that, Hyper Intuition will see to it. Vongola begins search parties. Xanxus finishes dressing and strides into his office. When he finds Sawada sprawled on his couch, napping with a manga on his hand, Xanxus doesn't react.
All he does is sit down and tackle the paperwork.
Sawada wakes up some time later but loses interest in his book after a while, watching Xanxus silently. It's predatory, almost considering. Xanxus keeps working. Sawada stretches with a hum, slow and lazy. "What are you doing?"
"Courting you."
"Hmm," Sawada takes that in, nods once and turns back to his book.
The Cloud disappears for ten days,  there one moment and gone the next. Xanxus sits back and watches the chaos, secure in the knowledge that Timoteo will simply assume Xanxus is sadistically pleased. He ignores the sad disappointed looks and continues on with his life. If you want a Cloud to stick around, Xanxus knows, you better store away the leash.
Sure enough, the night of the tenth day, Sawada shows up once more in the Iron Fort, shoes covered in mud, a streak of it on his cheek. But he looks calmer, more settled in a way that makes Xanxus's lips twitch up and the brat's tutor stop. Sawada endures his guardians fuzzing with grace, pretends to listen to Timoteo's scolding about responsibilities and duties. Xanxus buys him boots and gives them to him during the next meeting.
When Sawada takes them from him, he blinks, "uh. Thank you." But he puts them on right there, looking pleased with the way they fit. "They're nice."
Good, the sooner Sawada forms his territory and settles, the sooner Xanxus can actually make strides in his courtship. He makes no mention of just how much those boots cost. He just ruffles Sawada's hair, "good. Lets get back to business."
It becomes something of a routine. Sawada disappears for a day or two, always coming back a little muddy but happy. Timoteo hates it, his guardians try to tag along, Reborn is at a loss on how to curve it and Xanxus covers for him, encourages it. Whether Sawada disappears to unknown places with no warning or does it after a nap on Xanxus's couch, Xanxus buys him time and offers him a calmer welcome when Sawada finally turns away from his usual committee.
Xanxus still twitches in place when he finally realizes where exactly Sawada is creating his territory. That little shit. He strides to the very edges of the land behind his castle, carefully stopping right at the start of the lush forest-like garden and waits. But there's no answer, no acceptance or rejection. So Xanxus steps in, careful to step only on grass. It takes him almost two hours but he does find Sawada, laid on a branch of a tree.
How big is this thing? Xanxus crosses his arms and arches a brow, "really now?"
Sawada opens one eye, smug and mischievous. "Do you like it?"
"Very relaxing," Xanxus nods. Slowly, he lays on the grass, under the shade of the tree. Sawada doesn't react, watching him silently.
The next time Xanxus shows up at Sawada's territory, he brings along a box full of seeds. He says nothing when he gives it up. Sawada takes it from him with a delighted little hum, disappearing between the trees. Xanxus watches him go and doesn't follow. It becomes something of a tradition, Sawada will disappear every now and then and Xanxus will go back to his castle, find another variety of seeds and walk to the edge of Sawada's territory with his offering.
It's a learning curve, slow and steady. Xanxus learns just how far in he can get without an explicit welcome, where to wait for Sawada to come greet him and even how far in Sawada will allow the rest of his elements. Which had been a bit of a touch and go thing, Xanxus had never seen Sawada as angry as the moment Belphegor had carelessly stabbed one of the trees. On the bright side, the prince now has a healthy fear of Sawada. On the other hand, however, it had taken Xanxus almost half a year to get to the point where he was trusted enough to bring somebody else.
Which is why he's so relieved when he walks in, Squalo a step behind him and Sawada doesn't come to fend them off. If he ended up being back to square one, Xanxus would have put the damn Storm back in the medical wing himself.
"Voi," Squalo murmurs, looking around, "this place is a fucking forest."
That much is true. The plot is big enough for it and Sawada has taken advantage. Between the space and Sawada's apparent green thumb and random planting, the land has lost any sort of connection it had to a garden to become a forest instead. Full with life, wild animals included. And yet, not a human soul but them and Sawada himself. If that doesn't speak of Sawada's preferences, Xanxus doesn't know what will. Even Hibari's territory, for all of his short patience, is full of 'herbivores' to herd.
Xanxus guides them to the clearing and settles down under the tree for a nap. Sawada will either show up or he won't. At this point, all they have to do is wait.
When he wakes up, hours later, it's to the rhythmic sounds of Squalo cleaning his blade. He opens his eyes to find Sawada watching curiously from where he's laying on top of a branch. Xanxus watches him instead. Sawada turns to look at him and Xanxus hums, stretching an arm up with the box. Sawada jumps down, sitting cross-legged  beside Xanxus as he takes the box.
"What's this?"
Yawning, Xanxus turns on his side, "signal yammer. You can leave your phone in that." So that you don't have to keep smashing them when you disappear, Xanxus doesn't say.
Sawada perks up, touching the engravings on the metallic surface. It's handmade, Xanxus made it himself. "Come on," Sawada pulls on Xanxus's sleeve.
It's not unheard of but it's definitely strange for Sawada to invite Xanxus deeper into his territory without Xanxus himself asking. And doing so while leaving Squalo unattended on his territory is a very big sign of trust. So Xanxus stands, letting Sawada guide him around by the sleeve of his coat. They go deeper than Xanxus has ever been, Sawada letting him stop and stare every now and then. There are streams running through the ground, a small lake, a cave system. "How big is this?"
"Big enough," Sawada shrugs, happy and still full of mischief. "It took you forever to figure it out."
Xanxus snorts, "yeah? But then it wouldn't have been ready when I came."
That makes Sawada stop, like the thought hadn't occurred to him, and then pout. "It was ready, though."
"Hmm," Xanxus takes the place in. It's a small house, carved inside the cave system with tools and flame. Nothing too luxurious  but impressive all the same. They're inside of what seems to be the bedroom, there's a small dresser, some shelves with some assorted random objects, one of them dedicated only to Xanxus's gifts. The rest of the bedroom is just a giant bed. Pillows and blankets on the ground, enough that it's impossible to see the stone underneath, all in a soft colorful chaos, small led lights hanging on the ceiling like a messy spider's web.
All in all, very cozy.
Sawada is looking at him, shy and expectant. So Xanxus walks closer, ruffles his hair. "It's nice," and Xanxus hope's he's not misunderstanding. "Your bedroom?"
"Yup," Sawada puts his hands on Xanxus's pockets, walking backwards and then letting them fall. He's caging himself between Xanxus's body and the pillows, "ok."
"Ok?" Xanxus's breath hitches. No matter Iemitsu's despairing remarks or Timoteo's gentle condescending suggestions, Xanxus is a Sky. He's greedier than most. His elements are his and Xanxus will have them in every way he can have them.
"Uh hu," Sawada presses closer, forehead against Xanxus's shoulder.
Xanxus lets him, shrugging his coat off and maneuvering it onto Sawada's shoulders. "Next time," he promises, kissing the crown of Sawada's head, "next time, I'll have you. Next time, I'll be ready. How do you like your breakfast?"
His Cloud makes a tiny sound of surprise, turning them around even as he slips his arms on the sleeves of Xanxus's coat. It's too big on him. He presses Xanxus down, moving blankets and pillows around them until he's happy they're both comfortable and warm. Xanxus lets him use his chest as a mattress, hand rubbing gently on his back. "I don't have a kitchen," Sawada offers.
"I'll figure it out," Xanxus reassures.

• Kassandra x Eivor Varinsdottir 💋
• Warnings: adult content, sapphic love.
a clash between god’s favorites, part III.
Valhalla… this must’ve been Valhalla.
The moment their lips connected felt like the beginning and the end of the universe. A powerful exchange of life, spirit, and most of all, desire. Eivor’s body shuddered at the foreign sensations that took over her, from the very marrow of her bones to the tips of her toes and fingers. Her heart raced furiously, her blood turned to liquid fire in her veins, burning that feeling into every cell of her being; it wasn’t a lust for battle, nor an endless desire to subdue destiny – it was pure, unleashed arousal.
Suddenly, she pulled away from the kiss. Both of them were breathless and in awe, gazing into one another’s souls through those beautiful windows. Unspoken needs surfaced on Kassandra’s cheeks, a precious rose glow spilling over her olive skin. She smiled, and it was so tempting Eivor simply couldn’t look away.
“Eivor… of The Raven Clan…”
Sweet mercy, to hear her name murmured by this Greek goddess. The drengr abruptly took her hands off her and attempted to stand, as if burned by the devil.
“Wait- !!"
Kassandra sat up as well. Her spear was forgotten on the ground, halfway buried in the wet sand, and her empty hands reached for the platinum raven. She grabbed her by her upper arms, firmly, smoothing those tense muscles with her thumbs. It only made Eivor more willing to run away, to break herself free from her – she must’ve been a seer, bewitching her now.
“Stay...”
And how could she not, when this godlike creature looked at her like that.
Raw passion burned within the depths of those beautiful dark eyes. The moon and the stars could not compare. What was she doing? Why couldn’t Eivor look away? Her body tensed, yet she obliged and sat down on Kassandra’s strong thighs. Even if she left right now, she knew the image of this misthios would haunt her for the rest of her days.
A deep breath left the Raven's chest as she placed her war-hardened palms on Kassandra’s shoulders. And Kassandra watched her in awe, the way her pulse throbbed beneath her pallid skin, the way those beautiful frozen lakes would watch her. They were different, yet so alike.
“You…”
Eivor murmured, mostly to herself. Slowly, she drew her palms along the smooth expanse of Kassandra’s strong arms, squeezing at well defined muscles, at the scar on her right bicep. There was another scar, on her mouth. It felt like looking at her own reflection – a strong physical built, adorned with a reminder for each battle. And yet Kassandra felt so soft, so different. Each little inch of her skin Eivor caressed was like a new territory she conquered, and oh, how much she craved to ravish her completely.
“Yes?...”
Kassandra whispered, drawing closer. Her grip on Eivor melted, and she slowly wrapped her arm around her waist, urging her closer.
“What are you doing to me?”
Came a nervous, yet threatening murmur from the weakened Norse.
“What am I doing?...”
Kassandra played along, sly, but sultry, and she dared to give her prey a sensual caress. She touched her chest through the thin fabric of her tunic, and when her palm naturally molded against her firm breast, she squeezed. Once, twice, three times, grooming her slowly.
Gods, that touch…
Eivor instinctively clasped her thighs over Kassandra’s. Her need to overpower was natural, even when it came to this kind of things, and with a feral growl, she grabbed a hold of that beautiful brown hair. Almost mercilessly she twisted silky locks into her fist, only to roughly yank Kassandra’s head back. That graceful throat. She no longer wished to crush it, but oh, how bad she wanted to mark her. Embracing her, in return, Eivor tucked her hungry features into the crook of that beautiful neck, breathing her in. Her scent was intoxicating; war, explosives, blood, but there was something specific she never smelled before. Greece and its endless summers, the sea, the sun, and every flower that grew on the Aegean's shores.
“Are you testing me…?”
The Raven murmured as she held her parted lips pressed up against that wild pulse. The night echoed with the sound of slow, languid kisses, and Kassandra exhaled deeply, not silencing the pleasure she felt from Eivor’s hungry mouth. In spite of her uncontrollable desires, Eivor savored this beautiful demigod, as if every time her lips touched heated skin, she’d be reborn. She kissed along the perfect plains and curves of her throat, thoroughly enjoying the softness of her. The tip of her nose moved lightly along her jaw; addicted to her scent.
Kassandra’s touch drove her mad – and Kassandra was just as starved and crazy about her. She laughed, her voice like liquid velvet, so hushed and sensual.
“Oh… if only you knew, Eivor… how much I looked for you, in every crowd, in every corner.”
Shivers. That voice gave her shivers. The misthios was just as bold, and just as hungry; though she was careful not to scare her precious raven away. But how could she resist, when she was suddenly submerged in the heat of a real viking's body? Her hands moved quickly, and it was only moments before Eivor was stripped of her quiver and bow, and her cloak. Was this another challenge?
Unrelenting, the wolf-kissed was abruptly overwhelmed with that primal need to fight. She caught Kassandra’s throat in a deep, hard bite – she could’ve punctured that soft flesh, she could’ve eaten her alive. But she was mindful not to harm, only to force her into submission. The tight grip on her beautiful hair tightened, and Kassandra took it so well.
That first moan.
It was like sweet honey dew, but also feral. And it was the only warning Eivor received before she found herself aggressively pushed down to the ground. Kassandra had her pinned beneath herself, like a vicious predator, crawling on top of her prey.
Then, the sharp metallic cry of a blade pierced through the night, and all Eivor could do was watch her, wide-eyed and breathless.
- To be continued…
* part IV.

Have some world building on how the hell ghosts work in the SMP that I did for my Ghost Dream AU. As a note, this isn’t really theory crafting for how it works in canon. I just had some ideas on how to make each person’s experience with limbo/ghost versions connect for my AU rather than whatever the hell the CCs wanted to do.
CW: death, limbo/afterlife, potentially triggering imagery (I mention Tommy and him being dead), potential spoilers for What Remained in Pandora’s Box
I’m gonna talk about the limbos for a hot minute because it connects to my idea of how the heck ghosts work.
In canon, we’ve seen 3 examples of limbo: Tommy’s, Wilbur’s, and Schlatt’s. As far as I can tell, Tommy’s limbo was basically a dark, black void that he was just in. No light, no visibility, nothing. Wilbur’s was the train station, full of smoke and stuff. Schlatt’s is his gym in a cave.
In my AU, I give Dream a limbo that is similar to Tommy’s, but more like a white void instead of a black one. In this limbo, the floor is like a lake with fish inside. If he touches a fish, he sees a memory of him from someone else’s perspective. In Dream’s limbo, there is an invisible presence. This presence I’ve named the Voice of the Many (the Voice for short). The Voice behaves as sort of a guiding presence in the limbo. It is neither malicious or helpful to Dream. It just is.
When a person dies their last death, as decided with the universe, their soul gets guided by the Voice to a place where it can rest and recover (limbo). This process often takes literal ages and it may involve the soul learning a lesson so they can move on. Once they’re done, they get reborn in the same kind of form or into another form. Reviving someone pretty much just completely fucks this process up.
When someone gets revived, their soul is ripped out of the limbo and, if not properly prepared for, it will leave a hole in limbo that throws the afterlife out of balance. The revival process, as written in the revive book, does account for this. However, different intentions will cause different reactions.
For an example, when Dream revived Wilbur, he killed Ghostbur. The hole that Wilbur left in his limbo was immediately replaced with Ghostbur, even though Ghostbur would not have actually had that kind of limbo.
With Tommy, Dream’s intentions were fully in killing Tommy and reviving him soon after. This intention was made known to the Voice and it managed to prepare a limbo for Tommy’s soul to reside in briefly. His soul didn’t get the whole rest/recover treatment, further exacerbating his trauma with being killed and revived. Because of the required short time frame, Tommy’s limbo was actually and literally inside his corpse.
So with how ghosts in my AU work, there are a few things I need to make clear that now conflict with canon.
The bodies of ghosts are tangible and solid, though there is some slight transparency to their forms. They also often have either muted colors or enhanced colors, something to differentiate them from the previously living person. They do not feel temperatures like a living person does, usually taking significantly longer to feel warm or cold. Rain still does damage the body.
Ghosts are not always the same people they were when they were alive. In Ghostbur’s case, Phil often describes him as being a shell of Wilbur. Dreaming (Dream’s ghost) is more Dream’s attachments than Dream himself.
Because of point 2, ghosts often have some form of amnesia, because they take on basically one part of the living person.
When a person dies, their soul is removed from their corpse and taken into limbo by the Voice. The body then decays into the ground, but before this happens, a copy of the body is made and turned into a ghost. The ghost spawns where they first manifested in whatever body they have copied and will be given memories that are related to the copied body.
Here’s the more explicit example in regards to Dream/Dreaming:
Dream is the soul stuck in limbo. Dreaming is the ghost version of Dream. Dreaming’s form is a copy of Dream’s body with most of his colors being muted, but his eyes are VERY bright. Dreaming originally manifested when Dream abandoned his attachments (which is why he respawns in the Vault), but Dreaming didn't have a body until Dream died.
I have a couple more thoughts about how the limbos work off each other, since we saw Tommy and Wilbur interacting when Tommy was dead. However, I’m not gonna talk about this since it involves a lot of Schlatt world building and that goes too far into spoiler territory than I’m comfortable in talking about right now.

Summer 2021
Tumblr media
Dear Friends, This is Theodore Too, being escorted to his berth at the Marine Museum in Kingston in July.  You may recall, the popular children’s TV series in the 90s called Theodore Tugboat.  Based on the exploits of a friendly little tug in a port loosely resembling Halifax, it aired in 80 countries around the world for seven seasons.   Curious fact: Denny Doherty, formerly of the Mamas and the Papas, played the role of narrator and Theodore’s kindly Harbour Master. He also voiced all the animated characters, including Theodore. Denny was originally from Halifax.     Theodore Tugboat was so popular that the TV producers commissioned a life-sized replica. Theodore Too was christened in Nova Scotia in 2000 and became an instant ambassador and fixture on the Halifax waterfront.   Sadly, in 2020 Theodore’s owner was looking to sell.  Happily, though, up stepped Blair McKeil of McKeil Marine in Burlington, Ontario.  He and clean water advocacy group Swim, Drink, Fish came up with a new plan for Theodore.  He would make the long voyage from Halifax to his new home in Hamilton Harbour.  And from there he would take on the role of roving ambassador for clean water, green marine sustainability, and indigenous reconciliation, throughout the Great Lakes.  Theodore’s arrival in Kingston for a two-day stay at the Marine Museum Pier was a hit with the pandemic-starved public.  Over 2,000 visitors, mostly parents with young children, came to have their selfie moments with Theodore. There was more going on, though, than cartoon character entertainment.  We held a formal welcoming ceremony on the Museum Pier to mark the occasion.  In his role as emcee, the Museum Chair offered the following words.  “The Marine Museum of the Great Lakes at Kingston acknowledges the site it sits on and the water it interacts with to be the traditional territory of First Nations peoples. We thank these Nations for their care and stewardship over this land and water. We are committed to sharing this stewardship moving forward. Today is an historic occasion in so many ways.  I like to see it as a rebirth.  It’s a rebirth for the Marine Museum. We haven’t had a public event of any kind down at this historic site for five years. This is a rebirth. We’re back!  [loud applause] “This is of course a rebirth for Theodore Too, as he enters his new domain and new role as an ambassador for the environment of the Great Lakes. And as an ambassador for the often below-the-radar marine industry. Critically, it’s a rebirth for our relations with indigenous peoples and culture. We’re standing on what was traditionally known as Mississauga Point. From time immemorial this has been indigenous territory, land and water. We’re delighted to be reaching out – after far too long, I should say – to our indigenous partners. Among Theodore’s many new jobs, Swim, Drink, Fish has tasked him with collecting 100,000 ‘watermarks’.  A ‘watermark’, I believe, is a personal reflection on one’s connection to these precious waters. For me, I connect with a daily swim in Lake Ontario.  Not alone, but with a beautiful group of women called the Kingston Mermaids.  Every morning from May 24 to Thanksgiving we gather for a 1 to 2 km swim, whatever the conditions.  And every day we emerge from that swim communally reborn. That’s what these waters do for us. They give us life.” Happy summer to all, and wherever you are, may you enjoy the gift of life-giving waters! CW
Tumblr media
§ CLASS OF 2021 REPORT CARD Heroic returns driven by cash flows and profits To make a crude analogy, a stock company’s rising cash flows and profits are the life-giving waters that renew its fortunes, and enable it to be reborn for a new day, a new quarter, a new year, a new decade or longer.  Conversely, absent these necessities, the opposite applies.  Falling cash flows and profits, unless remedied, are the antithesis of continual rebirth.  Rather, they signal inexorable decline, and takeover or extinction are looming threats.    The Headmaster is delighted to observe that his students in the Class of 2021, almost without exception, delivered Olympian cash flow and profit growth over the past school year (July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021).  The Class average stock return reflected this heroic performance with an average gain of 31.9% for the 12-month period, vs. 29.9% for the TSX, 29.9% for the S&P 500 and 33.9% for the Dow.  “Bravo!” exclaimed the Headmaster.  “That’s two golds and a silver.  I can hardly expect more.”   Here are the sector by sector results. Financials - A+ After taking their knocks in 2020, Class members TD Bank, ScotiaBank, RBC and BlackRock came roaring out of the blocks in the past 12 months and posted an average gain of 45.9 %.  Once again, BlackRock excelled, growing its assets under management to nearly $10 trillion and leading the Class with a return of 60.8%.  The Headmaster, however, is not discounting the prospects for his Canadian trio:  “With declining loan losses and surging earnings, the banks are swimming in excess cash.  The bank regulator prudently halted dividend increases back in March 2020 to shore up bank capital reserves as we headed into the pandemic.  But that policy will come to an end as we emerge from COVID.  Expect mostly double digit dividend increases when it does.  That will bode well for stock prices.  All promoted.”  Resources - A+ Global fertilizer and farm supplies retailer Nutrien caught the commodities wave and chalked up a 72.1% gain.  Nutrien has the world’s largest reserves of low-cost potash, an essential farm crop nutrient, and is a major player in the other two essential fertilizers, nitrogen and phosphorus.  Says the Headmaster:  “It’s the nature of the beast that the fertilizer biz is highly cyclical and unpredictable.  I can’t tell you what the price of soy beans will be next year, or whether weather will wipe out western wheat, or what card the inscrutable Chinese will play in the global potash market.  However, I can tell you this: Nutrien, unlike its competitors, has a brilliant counterweight to that uncertainty ... its steady-Eddie farm supplies retailing unit.  In consequence, Nutrien has become a dependable cash dispensing machine.  Note the recent hike in the dividend and the announcement of yet another share buyback program.  Promoted!” Energy - C+ As faithful readers will know, the Headmaster over the past three to four years has largely pulled the plug on fossil-fuel-related Class members. Goodbye Crescent Point.  Goodbye Vermilion.  Goodbye Enbridge.  The two current claimants to the Energy bench are Algonquin Power and Brookfield Renewable Energy.  Both are predominantly oriented to green energy and both are superbly well run businesses with exemplary long-term growth prospects, unlike their predecessors.  Each has sailed through the pandemic with rising cash flows.
“That said,” adds the Headmaster, “Algonquin and Brookfield Renewables got a titch ahead of themselves in stock price and are currently taking a well-deserved rest.  Their average stock gain over the school year was 3.4%.  I am not deterred in the slightest.  I expect renewed out-performance from this pair in the future.  Promoted.”
Infrastructure - A Class stalwart Brookfield Infrastructure returned 23.1%. Headmaster: “Brookfield are masters at buying long-term assets with dependable, growing cash flows when they are out of favour and prices are low.  Equally, they are adept at cashing out when greed enters the market and prices are high.  Rinse and repeat.” Promoted.
Retail - B   Classmate veterans Alimentation Couche-Tard and Metro, both hailing from Montreal, returned an average 6.5%.  Couche-Tard, the global convenience store conglomerate (second in the world to Seven Eleven), and Metro, Canada’s best-run grocer are examples of companies that have benefited richly from pandemic stocking up and home meal preparation.  Will their lustre fade as COVID recedes? Says the Headmaster: “That was not the case in the years before the pandemic and I see no reason why it will be so in the future.  Both these companies excel in judicious investment of capital to grow profits and cash flow to the benefit of shareholders.  I see no change in that trend. Promoted.”
Industry - A+ Says the Headmaster: “Label and packaging maker CCL, CNR and John Deere knocked it out of the park with an average gain of 62.9%.  Bravo!  And let’s give an extra pat on the back to John Deere, who cranked out an individual performance of 124.4%.”   “Each of the members of this trio was well poised to benefit from COVID recovery, but there’s more to the story than that.  Each is a superbly well-run business, primed to take advantage when opportunity knocks.” “For those who need reminding, John Deere is not just in the business of vending agricultural equipment and lawn mowers.  It is also a major player in construction machinery and stands to benefit handsomely from the impending global infrastructure boom.”   “There are those who doubt the wisdom of CNR’s bid to takeover Kansas City Southern Railway and integrate it into North America’s first and only railway system linking Mexico, the US and Canada.  They have put the brakes on CNR’s stock of late.  I happen to think they are wrong and should the deal go through, shareholders will be the beneficiaries for decades to come.  Let us be patient.” All promoted.
Healthcare - B Healthcare, before the pandemic, during and no doubt after, tends to be seen as a ‘defensive’ sector.  I.e., don’t look for spectacular growth or gains.  Opines the Headmaster: “On the contrary, I see the singular cash generating qualities of these stocks through thick and thin -- our Merck, Amgen and Johnson and Johnson generate free cash flow of from 20 to 40% of sales -- as marvellously conducive to long-term wealth accumulation.” Early in June, Merck spun off its women’s health unit known as Organon.  There was a share distribution to Merck stockholders.  Given the slower growing nature of the spin-off, the Headmaster did not welcome Organon into the Class of 2022.  He sold the shares and purchased more Merck.   Merck, Amgen and J&J had an average return of 7.3% over the school year.  Promoted.
Telecom - A The lone Class standard bearer for telecom continues to be Vancouver-based Telus.  Telus, as a generator of healthy cash flows, has ploughed significant capital into its ‘fiber-to-home’ network in recent years, giving it a clear competitive advantage over chief western rival Shaw.  Equally, Telus has invested in subsidiaries such as Telus International and Telus Health that are now yielding meaningful returns to the balance sheet.  Headmaster: “Telus’s stock advanced a sprightly 22% over the school year.  It still enjoys ‘best wireless network’ on most customer surveys, and consistently has Canada’s best customer retention rates.  Promoted.”
Information Technology - A+ It is becoming a truth universally acknowledged that the info tech behemoths that rule so much of our lives are surprisingly impervious to the slings and arrows that beset the rest of the stock market.  That was certainly the case for global giants and classmates  Apple and Microsoft over the past year.  They positively galloped through the pandemic.  Visa is shrugging off a minor setback due to reduced international travel, and looks to have its groove back.  Even domestic software player Open Text, a minnow by comparison with the other three, managed to keep cash flows and profits rising throughout COVID.
Headmaster: “This talented quartet had an average return of 28.3%.  All promoted.”
Entertainment - A+ Disney, not surprisingly, took a COVID hit to several key sectors in its vast empire: theme parks, cruise ships and movie theatrical releases.  However you wouldn’t know this from gazing upon its stock chart, up a remarkable 57.6% over the school year.   The Headmaster has his thoughts on how this could be so: “We have to remind ourselves how huge and dominant this world-beater is.  It doesn’t just own Pixar, Marvel, and Fox TV and movie studios.  It also has Lucasfilm.  So the Empire is always striking back.  Not to mention that Disney also owns America’s largest and most profitable cable network, ESPN.  And ABC.  And the Disney Channel.  The icing on the cake is that Disney appears to be well on the way to winning the streaming wars.  Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu and the like are on track to have 300 million subscribers by 2025.  The only rival in its league looks to be Netflix.  The two of them are divvying up the streaming world.  Lastly, but not least, Disney has mastered the art of monetizing its franchises and their memorable characters across a myriad of platforms.  It all began with Mickey Mouse.  Now think of all those Elsas (from the movie Frozen) every Halloween.  That’s the cash generating magic of Disney.  Promoted!” If you would like further information on any of the investing ideas raised in this issue, or a complimentary consultation, please call or email.

Fantober 2020, Day 12: Enchanted Forest
Tumblr media
Author: DatHeetJoella Fandom: Free! Pairing: MakoHaru Rating: T Part: 12/31 (read the full collection here) Word count: 1,799 Tags: Alternate Universe - Fantasy, Human!Makoto, Elf!Haru, First Meeting, Magic, Fluff Read at: AO3, FFn, or right here!
                                             ----------------------------------
Tired and worn-out from his travels, Makoto weaved through the dark woods in search of a place to camp out for the night. Preferably at a river or a creek, somewhere he could refill his flasks and wash his face. His horse was starting to lose speed, so hopefully, he would find a good spot before she had to give in to exhaustion.
Then, the sound of running water drowned out the symphony of owls and crickets. He followed it and to his delight, he stumbled upon a glade at the bottom of a cliff. A pristine waterfall cascaded down the rocks, flowing down into a moderately-sized lake.
Relief engulfed Makoto from within and he leapt off his horse, guiding her over to the edge of the lake so she could drink from it. He kneeled and peered into the water. Moonlight shimmered on the surface, illuminating every droplet. Never before had Makoto seen such clean water; there were no fish or algae in the lake, not as much as a leaf or a branch floating down the stream or caught on the sides. It seemed almost divine and the mere sight of it made his scratchy throat even drier.
He cupped his hands and let the water flood his palms, gratefully drinking as much as he could get. The water tasted even better than it looked, fresh and crisp like it rejuvenated him from the inside.
Once he'd quenched his thirst, Makoto checked the trees to see if anyone was around. When he was sure the coast was clear, he disrobed himself and dove into the water headfirst.
When he broke through the surface, he felt reborn. The fatigue and strain of his travels slipped off him, leaving nothing but contentment and serenity in his heart. Although he was miles removed from home, Makoto had never felt quite as comfortable as he did within this lake.
Alas, this feeling did not last.
A shadow moved behind the waterfall and Makoto let out a strangled screech, hastily covering his nude chest. Through the stream emerged a man, someone whose presence he hadn't noticed before.
Fear spread through Makoto's body like he'd been hit with a poison-tipped arrow; he was alone in the dark forest in a rather compromising position. Even if he hadn't been, he was not exactly the type suited for combat anyway and he saw no opportunity to make a quick escape.
But when the man stepped forward and the moonlight showered over his face, Makoto's fear evaporated.
Long, dark robes that reached down to the ground were wrapped around his slender body. Pointed ears poked through a curtain of dark hair, framing his small face. His features were soft and elegant and his pale skin contrasted the darkness of the night. But the most mesmerising parts of him were his eyes, blue and piercing. Like he could peer straight into the past, present and future.
Elves were rumoured to be gorgeous and although Makoto had never seen one in person, he was certain this man was among the most beautiful in their entire species. His appearance made him forget about the world around him, enchanted by a single glance.
But then, the elf's expression shifted, from neutral to confused. Or rather, shocked.
"Who are you?" he said, and despite the vibrant distress in his tone, his voice had a calming effect on Makoto. "How did you find this place?"
"Oh, um I," Makoto stuttered, unsure which question to answer first. "I was looking for a place to rest for the night. I heard the waterfall, so I followed the sound and it brought me here."
"Impossible."
"Sorry, am I not supposed to be here?" Perhaps he was trespassing on elven territory without his awareness. "If that's the case, I'll leave immediately. I don't mean to cause any trouble."
The elf seemed to be at a loss for words and the uncomfortable, misplaced feeling in Makoto's stomach grew.
"The water…" the elf said after a brief pause, "did you drink from it?"
"Yeah," Makoto said, cowering into himself like he was being scolded by his mother. "My horse did, too. Is that bad?"
A loud groan left the elf's lips and before Makoto could blink, his robes were flying through the air and water splashed upwards, sending ripples of waves throughout the lake. He emerged right in front of Makoto's nose, shaking the beads from his hair.
It startled Makoto and heat warmed his cheeks when he realised how clear the water was and how he was still very much naked. The look inside the elf's eyes was fierce and sharp and Makoto wasn't quite sure whether he should be embarrassed or scared.
"Listen, if I did something that I shouldn't have, then I sincerely apologise," Makoto said, frantically waving his hands as if to prove his innocence. "Please believe me when I say that I had no ill intentions. I just wanted to wash up and fill my flasks, I meant no harm."
After another second of staring in scrutiny, the elf relented. "I believe you. What's your name?"
"Makoto. And yours?"
"I'm Haruka. Haru," the elf said. "Say, Makoto, you have no idea where you are, do you?"
"Not a clue." Makoto sheepishly rubbed at the back of his neck.
"This is the Sacred Moon Spring. Every droplet of this spring has been infused with ancient magic and every full moon, its magical properties are replenished and the water is at its most powerful." Haruka looked up at the sky and Makoto followed his line of vision; the moon was large and round, standing out brightly between the trees.
This was not good. No wonder he felt so refreshed. "We drank from the sacred, magic water…" Makoto stated the obvious. "So, what happens now?"
"I don't know. My clan has been guarding this spring for centuries, but no human has ever come near here, let alone drank from the water," Haruka said, "To be honest, I'm not sure how you even found this place. There's a protective spell around this area, a barrier that's supposed to keep all non-elven creatures out. Not even birds or deer can pass through."
"Oh," Makoto said, drawing circles on the surface with his fingers, "Well, there's this story in my family that my mother's great-great-grandmother was a Woodland Elf, but I always thought that was just a tale. Do you think it could be true?"
Haruka shrugged. "I guess it is. I don't have any other explanation why you would be allowed to pass through. The barrier must've detected elven blood in you."
"But there's so much more human blood in me, and I don't look like an elf at all."
"You don't," Haruka said as he took a step closer. "But your eyes do."
Makoto frowned. "My eyes?"
"Hm. They're… vibrant." When Haruka noticed how close he'd gotten and how breathy his voice had been, he blushed all the way up to his ears and increased the distance between their bodies. The pink hue looked immensely cute against his pearly skin. He coughed and tried to regain his aloof demeanour. "So, I suppose you are a descendent of a Woodland Elf."
"But what about my horse? I don't think she had a great-great-grandmother who was an elf."
"Were you riding her when you arrived here?" When Makoto nodded, Haruka said, "Then that's why. You lead her here, and your authority granted her permission to pass through, too."
That did make sense, as much as any of this magical spring situation could. Maybe there was an off chance he had bumped his head against a low hanging branch and was hallucinating, or maybe he fell asleep beneath a willow and this was all a dream. But was his simple mind truly capable of conjuring up something so fantastical, or someone as beautiful as Haruka?
Ashamed of his thoughts, Makoto said, "If I'm not supposed to be here, then I shall leave. I wouldn't want to disturb the balance of this place."
"You can stay, if you'd like," Haruka said, brushing his fringe back to appear nonchalant, "if the barrier let you through, then I see no reason to reject your presence."
"Are you sure? I wouldn't want to impose on this sacred place. If there's a barrier to keep humans out, then I can't imagine it's okay for a human to bathe himself in this water."
"As the guardian of this sacred place, I'm sure," Haruka said, "To be honest with you, no one is allowed to touch this water with their bare hands, not even I. It's used in important rituals in my clan."
"Then I should get out! I'm so sorry," Makoto said in a combination of disbelief and panic; Haruka didn't seem to care, but the last thing he wanted was to be struck with an elven curse if anyone else found out.
A hand on his shoulder held him back. It was small and felt cold, yet it also emitted a strange sort of heat.
"You already touched it and drank from it, so I don't see why I would send you away now. The water is already contaminated, and truthfully, it was long before you even got here."
"What do you mean?"
"How could I guard such a beautiful spring without going for a swim every night? There truly is no water like it." For a second, a hint of an adorable smile was visible on Haruka's face before he let himself fall backwards underwater and Makoto couldn't help but laugh. Haruka was the first elf he'd ever met and a rather odd one at that, but Makoto had an inkling they were going to get along very well.
All throughout the night, Makoto stayed inside the spring and talked with Haruka while floating beside him. They discussed their everyday lives, Makoto's family and his apprenticeship at a blacksmith a couple of towns away from his home, Haruka's clan and their traditions - and Haruka's disinterest in adhering to them -, how Haruka became the guardian of the spring and what effects the water could possibly have on Makoto and his horse.
The hours flew by and Makoto completely lost himself in their conversations and in Haruka. He didn't sleep a wink, but the water energised him like no amount of rest could and there was nothing that could whisk him away from this place. That wasn't because of elven magic, though, but because of Haruka. Makoto's suspicions were confirmed; Haruka turned out to be just as beautiful on the inside as he was on the outside.
Many things about his future were uncertain now, but there was one thing Makoto knew for sure: this would not be the last night Haruka and he spent together.

You mentioned warrior cat weddings at some point... what are those like in your mind?
ty for asking! okay okay im gonna talk in general but assume mostly im referring to the lake territories!
So each clan celebrates weddings differently! The only main similarity is that more often then not, cats do date before marriage! (apprentices can date each other as well but not marry). also yes they do use terms like wedding, propose, engaged, boyfriend, girlfriend, significant other etc. bc im lazy.
THUNDERCLANIn ThunderClan, every couple picks some part of nature to represent their love when they announce the engagement. More than one couple can share a symbol but each couple should have a specific reason. The clan uses this to decorate the area by adding it into things, like dens or even propping it up to hang overhead. Both parties of the wedding dress up in flowers and vines, no matter their gender, and usually are walked down by whatever parents are living but they can pick a friend or sibling if they prefer. The cat who proposed goes down the isle first. The leader is often the one who officates but the deputy is allowed to do it if the leader is unable.
WINDCLANIn WindClan, it is always expected of the proposer to give a flower. Since they’re rare on the dry moors, it represents dedication and loyalty to their significant other. The stem is then weaved into the person who was proposed to’s fur, usually behind the ear. Weddings here are big deals, and often involve a celebration party that lasts through the night. Any cat can officiate, but it’s most likely going to be a mutual friend of the two cats. WindClan culture treats love as a ‘mates for life’ situation, but it’s not a bad thing for married cats to split up nor is it disgraced unless one party did something awful to cause the split.
SHADOWCLANShadowClan weddings are a smaller deal. It’s an invite only situation and it’s often cats the parties grew up with and family they remain close to. So even though one party’s best friend is a cat they didn’t share an apprenticeship with, it’s rare that cat would be invited. The only way would be if their friend admitted they felt more like a family. Depending on who’s alive, it’s either one or both of the engaged cat’s mentors who officiate but if that’s not able to happen, the leader will do so. The wedded cats then get two days and two nights alone far off from the camp to just be together before returning to their clan duties.
RIVERCLANRiverClan’s ceremonies are very loud and full of loud celebration, similar to WindClan. The engaged parties might even try and invite their friends from the other clans to come. RiverClan cats decorate the entire camp with flowers and seagrass, and after the wedding the couple goes out and swims together to try and catch one fish together, symbolizing their bond. The medicine cat always officiates, it’s just culture.
SKYCLANSkyClan weddings are a lot more laid back, a cat proposes and the clan gathers. The leader officiates and boom, they’re wed. This isn’t to say they don’t have fun, because often cats will spend a few days hunting specifically for the after wedding celebration. Unlike the other clans evolving into their traditions, SkyClan has always kept the same ceremony style. Even when they were reborn, Skywatcher managed to pass on this tradition to Firestar who then relayed it to the new SkyClan cats.

What is Touhou's Hell like? Does it have plants or a sky or other things like that?
It’s based on Buddhist ideas of Hell, so it’s composed of hundreds or thousands of different sub-Hells with completely different conditions. A few that are mentioned or show up in Touhou are Blazing Hell, Needle Hell, and Avici. Each of these places torture their residents in different ways. Some are hot, some are cold, some are confined, some are open, etc. There are definitely plants because Kosuzu owns a book describing the flora of Hell.
But not only does Hell contain all of these different afterlife punishment-worlds, those are just the ones controlled by the Ministry of Right and Wrong, and comprise only a fraction of Hell. The way I would look at it is that Hell is an infinite world of infinite variety. It’s often described as “ridiculously” or “stupidly” huge, to the point that territorial conflict is apparently unheard of because there’s more than enough room for everyone. It’s probably orders of magnitude bigger than Earth and orders of magnitude more diverse too. There are alien places there we can’t even imagine.
The way Hecatia describes it, its a place of freedom and chaos, but in a bad way. It’s the ultimate “positive freedom” where the strong can do what they like, without any “negative freedom” where people are safe from other people taking their freedoms away. The Ministry is strong enough to exert their own influence over the “afterlife” regions, but ultimately most of Hell doesn’t care what they’re doing over in their corner. Hecatia says the idea of punishing sinners is something they came up with on their own: it’s not a natural part of Hell. The Lake of Fire exists not to burn sinners, but to cook some primordial oni/god’s dinner.
Also, according to Buddhist lore everyone reborn there lives for like a million billion trillion years. And it sucks.
