Lifted up
This week’s reading contains some of the most famous verses in the Christian Bible. These are the first verses we teach our children, expecting them to understand them as a simple summary of the entire Gospel.
But the audience for these words, according to the story, doesn’t seem to find them simple at all. This is part of the story where Nicodemus visits Jesus in secret. He spends the whole…

Trying to recommend people Kiss of the Spider Woman but being like “ok so it’s a love story kind of like it’s about love but it’s debatably unrequited but also they fuck and they would never actually interact if they weren’t cell mates and even though adaptions of it kind of simplify their relationship to an enemies to friends to lovers type thing but it’s actually a secret third thing in the novel and play kind of like they don’t hate each other in the novel but they’re also like annoyed with each other sometimes before they grow to care about each other but also-“ is so difficult but also like it speaks to how Manuel Puig wrote one of the most beautiful and unique relationships in literary history and idk even just in fiction in general I’ve never seen a relationship like theirs before or since

Aight so rq before I go to bed
This might seem out of context but hear me out:
As y'all probably already know, I have been fond of Limbus Company, and I have devised a strategy to pulling what I want.
Google something referencing the ID you're looking for and just put "gay" in the front
Idk if it's cus of Pride Month, but for WHATEVER reason
I have just been getting either EGO or the actual IDs themselves back to back, or BOTH at once-
I have been told my luck tends to be chaotic but jesus- (also enjoy the quickly put together thing on ms paint)

i need to read more books about cannibalism. yet i feel like it's so hard for me to find cannibalism books that sound appealing. i have already read Tender is the Flesh and i have a nonfiction book about it but that's about it.

So because I'm on winter vacation (I'm in grad school), I have a lot of free time, and I played through the first generation of the challenge way too fast and didn't take enough screenshots. Still getting used to doing a simblr! 😭 Let's skip to gen 2! Heir Teo Lent graduated high school early and earned a degree in Fine Art from the Foxbury Institute. He's planning to move to Glimmerbrook to work as a floral designer.
Objectives (for the Postcard Legacy Challenge: Magical Florist):
Marry a spellcaster (Go for a sage! Feel free to makeover them.)
You must win 6 duels against your future spouse before you can marry them in order to prove your worth as a spellcaster!
Complete your spellbook.
All flower arrangements you make must be sold on a vendor table at the marketplace. (You can also sell your other potions you make in the cauldron.)
Name your children after flowers.
Complete the flowers collection and have all these plants be of excellent quality.
Complete the Magic Beans collection.
Collect all magical artifacts like brooms, wands, and familiars. Decorate your home with them.
